Disclaimer: I do not, I repeat do not, own any of the Buffy-verse characters, but if I did believe me you'd know it. I don't own the song either that belongs to Cowboy Troy.

Summary: The thoughts in Spike's head as he heads back to Sunnydale.

Author's Note: The lyrics of the song just made me think of how Spike must have felt when Drusilla cheated on him. When it came to Dru he was always a bit sensitive. So I apologize for him being out of character.

"If you don't want to love me then I'll find somebody else who will. I'll find another kind of trill. I'll find another way to fill this loneliness."

I can't believe she cheated on me again! Drusilla was the greatest thing that ever happened to me. She was the one that freed me from my life of torment and she welcomed me to a new and exciting world. She was the one person I loved more than anyone was else. I mean I loved her more than Cecily for gods' sake! I honestly thought that after our last encounter with Angelus she would finally give up on him. I was hoping she would finally be mine, completely. But this just proves that I was wrong. Bloody hell! Why do I always fall for women who will never love me back? If she doesn't want to love me then I'll find somebody else who will. As these thoughts ran through my head, I shoved my few possessions into the back of my car.

"If you don't want to love me then I'll find somebody else who will. I'll find another kind of trill. I'll find another way to fill this loneliness."

I lit up a cigarette as I started the engine. I thought of all the places I could go while trying to get Dru out of my head. Maybe I could go to Vegas. Yeah that's it, Vegas. Some gambling and alcohol will get her right out of my system. Of course, I could always use a good trill. And the biggest trill of all for a vampire, is killing a slayer. I smirked around my cigarette. Perfect. I'd take out Peaches' girlfriend and then go to Vegas. On the plus side of adding another slayer's death to my record, it would also distract me from thoughts of Dru. Well, watch out Sunnydale, here I come.

Well, was it completely stupid? Or just mildly stupid? Can I get some reviews?
