As children, Loki and Thor would play games to keep themselves entertained between their lessons. One day, Loki suggested to play a Midgardin game called "Hide and Go Seek". It was during this game, Loki discovered his dematerialization trick. Mini-Avengers!

I was a fan of Norse mythology before reading the comics or watching the movie. This is my attempt to combine the original mythology and adventures with the Marvel characters we all love, along with a few from the mythology. This is set before the movie 'Thor' takes place. Spellings of characters/objects based off "Myths of the Norsemen" by Guerber and "Children of Odin" by Colum.

I was fascinated by ideophobe's idea that Loki, a Jotun, could experience a compulsion to mate, & wind up married to Jane Foster (see "Evolutionary Imperative"). What would happen next? This follows that rabbit trail-how do Loki & Jane reconcile their bonding? What about Loki's past? All Avengers here too. Rated M for some sexual content/innuendo & battle scenes. Completed!

Thor and Jane finally reunite and rekimdle their love, but when the other realms hear of the God and prince falling for a mortal tey will do anything they can to bend this to their advantage.

When Loki is born, they cry. Not because they need air, but because they are taken away from the safest place they will ever know.

When telling Asgard's story to the boys, Odin utters the words "Only one of you can ascend to the throne, but both of you were born to be kings." not quite realizing the truth that is hidden behind the statement.

Loki was executed after the events of Avengers. Frigga knew that they shouldn't have been so hasty...especially when Loki was right about Thanos and the scroll. Basically a small story that I may continue at some point. A random plot bunny that wouldn't leave me alone. AU!

Loki's making that whistling noise in his sleep again, and it's keeping Thor awake, so Thor decides to wake Loki up, too. A late-night conversation between the two boys reveals something Loki fears, and a conversation between Thor and his mother the next morning reveals something Thor envies. And it has everything and nothing to do with moving to Alfheim.
