Chapter 3
The morning's sunlight entered through a window in the room of a certain boy with wild black hair, hitting his face and making him frown.
'Again that stupid sunlight. Ok, I get up, jeez.', he thought while opening his eyes and waking up annoyed . But as soon as he woke up, he felt something soft pressing against his arms. Confused, he looked at his right and left to see two redhaired girls, each one clinging on him with their breasts pressing against his arms. One had short hair and a right earring and one had longer hair with an ahoge and stair hairpins.
'Ichika and Itsuki?! W-what are they doing in my room?! I don't remember letting them sleep here!', he thought, shocked to see two of his stepsisters sleeping with him. But what made him more stunned and blush too, was the fact that their girls had their grown and still developing breasts pressing against his arms. Thankfully they had their pyjamas on, so Fuutarou wasn't too embarrassed.
He was used to the girls wanting to sleep sometimes in the same room as him since they became part of his family, but after 3 years they grew up developing well in certain places. So having them sleep and cling on him was a little embarrassing for the golden eyes boy.
Suddenly, one of the two girls started to wake up too because of the sunlight, opening her eyes slowly to meet the face of her beloved brother. Once she locked eyes with him, she smiled and said, "Good morning, Fuu-nii."
"I-Ichika, w-why are you here in my room?", he asked her, a little flustered.
"Hehe, I couldn't sleep well last night so I came here to sleep with you.", she said, giggling. Then she saw that Itsuki was sleeping and clinging on his left arm.
"It seems that I wasn't the only one that wanted to sleep with you, Fuu-nii.", she said with an amused smile.
"Fuu-niisan…You're so huggable.", mumbled Itsuki while hugging her brother's arm tighter, making her chest press against it even more.
"I-Itsuki, wake up. It's morning.", told her Fuutarou, trying to not blush because of the soft sensation on his arm.
The ahoge girl then opened her eyes slowly and rubbed them to see the clear figure of Fuutarou, who was looking at her with a smile. Once she saw his face, she smiled and said, "Good morning, Fuu-niisan!"
She then gave him a kiss on the cheek, surprising her brother and making Ichika pout. "W-what was that?", he asked her.
"T-that was a g-good morning kiss hehe.", she replied with a flushed face and giggling.
Her reply made her brother smile, but when also Ichika gave him a kiss a cheek, his face blushed again.
"I forgot to give a good morning kiss to my dear Fuu-nii hehe.", said Ichika with a bright smile, making Itsuki pout out of jealousy.
"Y-yeah haha, thanks for t-the k-kisses girls. Now c-could you please leave that I need to change? Today is our first day at Asahiyama High School.", he said with a serious voice to not look still embarassed.
"Oh, that's true. Then I will go to change my clothes too and Fuu-nii can tell me what he thinks of my school uniform hehe.", said Ichika while getting up from his bed and exiting from the room.
"I will go too. See you later, Fuu-niisan!", said Itsuki while leaving.
When both of the girls left his room, Fuutarou sighed; everytime that the girls were clingy with him, they would get jealous of each other while trying to keep his attention. And when one of them kissed him, the others would do the same. He didn't mind their shows of affection towards him of course, but sometimes they were even too affectionate.
Then he decided to change his clothes, taking off his t-shirt first and revealing his nice upper body. Despite being only 15, Fuutarou's body was very well trained and attractive as he practiced swimming. He was already fit 3 years ago, but now he was even more than that thanks to his strong chest and a developing six pack. In a few words, he was really handsome.
After taking off his shorts too, Fuutarou opened his wardrobe and took his uniform, which consisted in blue jeans, a green t-shirt and a white shirt. He wore them with the shirt left unbuttoned and exited from his room to go downstairs and have breakfast with his family.
As soon as he descended the stairs, he was hugged by another redhaired girl, with long hair and a bunny ribbon girl. "Good morning, Fuutarou-niisama!", she told him with a cheerful smile.
The boy smiled and patted her head, "Good morning you too, Yotsuba. You're ready to go to school I see haha."
"Hehe, I looked forward to going to the same school as you, and now that I can I'm very happy!"
"Glad to hear it. Let's go to have breakfast then, shall we?"
"Yes, Fuutarou-niisama!"
So they walked together towards the living room, where they could see their father Isanari already eating. When he saw them, he grinned and said with a teasing tone, "Good morning Fuutarou, Yotsuba. I see that you're being lovely with your sisters, Fuutarou, eh?"
"I like h-hugging Fuutarou-niisama! I c-can't help it hehe.", replied the bunny ribbon quint, tightening her hug on her brother's arm, who was a little embarassed because of Isanari's teasing.
"Fuutarou-nii!", said a sudden voice that came from the black haired boy's left.
He, Yotsuba and Isanari looked in that direction to see the third oldest quint walking towards Fuutarou to hug his left arm lovingly.
"Good morning, Fuutarou-nii.", she told him, looking at him with a kind smile.
"Yo, Miku. Are you ready to go school too?"
"Yes, I'm really happy to go to Asahiyama with you, Fuutarou-nii."
"Hey! I want to hug Fuu-niichan too!", said a new voice coming from the kitchen.
Another redhaired girl with long hair and butterfly ribbons came out of the kitchen bringing a plate of tamagoyaki, followed by a black haired woman and a little girl with a ponytail on the top of her head that had some plates in their hands too.
She put down the plate on the table and went towards Fuutarou to hug him with her face on his chest. "Good morning, Fuu-niichan!", she greeted with a happy smile.
"Good morning, Nino. You too, Mom, Raiha.", he replied, greeting also Shizuku and Raiha.
"Fuu-chan is being lovey-dovey with his dear sisters as always hehe.", teased Shizuku, giggling and making Fuutarou blush. Then even Ichika and Itsuki appeared and greeted everyone, so the whole family took place at the table to have breakfast.
While eating, Ichika and Itsuki asked their dear brother what he thought of their school uniforms, prompting the other quints to ask for his opinion too. He took a good look at all their school uniforms and said with a smile that they looked really good. His compliment made the quints blush and Yotsuba and Nino hugged him since they were sitting next to him.
"You're really affectionate to your sisters, son, eh? Then I guess that it's time for you to know about an important decision that your mother and I took some time ago.", suddenly said Isanari, making Fuutarou and the quints look at him with curiosity.
"An important decision? What are you talking about, Dad?", asked the golden eyes boy.
Both Isanari and Shizuku smiled, and it was her to reply, "Hehe, let's say that we decided that you can marry one of your stepsisters in the future, Fuu-chan."
Needless to say, as soon as he heard that, Fuutarou blushed profusely in the same way as the quints. "W-What?!", he shouted loudly.
"If you want, you can also marry them all haha.", said Isanari, making his son redder.
"Wait, wait, w-what are you taking about?! W-what's this story about marriage?", he asked them with a flushed face.
"You're confused, eh? Well, let's say that we saw how much your sisters love you, so we decided that you can marry them all, Fuu-chan. You're always there for them, so you will make a great husband in the future hehe.", explained a giggling Shizuku.
"W-wait, I-I c-can become Fuut-niichan's wife?! R-really?!", said a blushing Nino loudly, getting a happy nod from their mother.
"W-what are you saying, Mom, Dad?! T-they're m-my sisters! I-I can't marry them!"
"You can, son. What's the problem with that? They love you so much and all so it's perfectly fine.", replied Isanari with a grin.
"Yes! I can stay with Fuutarou-niisama forever!", said Yotsuba while clinging on her brother's arm.
"Y-Yotsuba?!", he said, still flushed.
"I agree with Mom and Dad. Onii-chan will be a great husband for my big sisters hehe!"
"Not even you, Raiha. Ugh, it's better than we leave for school!", he said before finishing to eat and leaving the table to go take his school bag in his room.
"Ah, Fuutarou-niisama!", called him Yotsuba with a pout for losing the sweet contact with him.
"Haha, it seems that he's all flustered right now.", said Isanari, chuckling with Shizuku.
Meanwhile, after hearing their parents' decision, the quints were still blushing despite being very happy internally. Fuutarou was more than a brother for all of them, and knowing that they could marry him made them truly happy. But this also meant that their competition for his affection was about to become even more evident.
When Fuutarou and his siblings finished to prepare their bags, they all left the house while Isanari was charged of accompanying Raiha to school and Shizuku had to take care of the bakery as the time to open was very close.
Since he and the quints didn't know where Asahiyana was exactly, the black haired boy checked the directions on his phone, finding out that the high school wasn't too far away from their house. This made the quints glad, so they started to walk with their beloved brother to reach Asahiyama.
At a certain point, Fuutarou noticed a girl with long blue hair styled in a ponytail and glasses leaning against a wall, who looked to wait for someone. Recognizing her immediately, he grinned and said, "Yo, Haruka!"
The girl looked at her left to see the boy she had a crush on smiling and waving at her. She blushed and smiled, "G-good morning, F-F-Fuutarou-kun."
"You wanted to go to school together I guess, right?"
"Hehe, y-y-yes. S-s-since it's the first day, I-I w-wanted t-to go t-t-there together.", she shyly replied, still embarassed to look at him in the eyes.
But the young girl didn't notice the glares that Fuutarou's stepsisters were throwing at her, especially that of the second oldest quint.
'This girl is flirting with my Fuu-niichan! I won't let you do that, you homewrecker!', she thought before latching on her brother's arm like a possessive girlfriend.
"N-Nino? W-what's wrong?", he asked her, surprised.
"I wanted to cling on you, Fuu-niichan.", she told him with a smile, before throwing a quick glare at Haruka, scaring her a little.
And like Nino, even the other quints clang on him, making Haruka feel jealous. "Haha, sorry Haruka, they're always so clingy with me. Anyways, sure, let's go to school together.", he told to the blue haired girl, who nodded with a shy smile.
The quints pouted at this, as they didn't want some girl approach Fuutarou like that, but they restrained from complaining about it. They didn't want to ruin their first day of their school life with him.
So the group started to walk together, with the quints clinging on Fuutarou all the time to not give the chance to Haruka to get too near to him. It was especially Nino that kept her away, as she feared that the girl would make a move on her beloved brother. It seems that knowing that she could marry him brought her to be more jealous of other girls, and since she had already her sisters as rivals, she didn't want to deal with others.
Her sisters were clingy too with Fuutarou, but they refrained from leering at Haruka; they felt confident that their brother was more attracted to them than to his friend. And since he never minded their hugs and kisses on the cheeks, they didn't feel the need to be afraid of a rival.
Some time after walking and chatting together, the group arrived at the gates of Asahiyama, admiring the sizes of the building. "Wow, this school is so big! Do you think it has a big athletic field too, Fuutarou-niisama?", asked him Yotsuba with genuine curiosity.
"I don't know about that. I heard that it has various sport clubs, but I informed myself only about the swimming club. You're eager to start doing sports here too, aren't you?", he replied, making her giggle.
"Of course, Fuutarou-niisama! But don't worry, I will do my best even in studying.", she happily replied while hugging him.
"Haha, glad to hear it. Let's go to see in which class they put us, girls.", he proposed, getting a happy nod from the quints and Haruka.
So they proceeded and entered inside the school building, taking some glances at the lockers and first classrooms that they could see. Some girls that were looking for their classrooms noticed Fuutarou, blushing and whispering things like "Did you see that boy? He's so gorgeous!" or "I really would like to have him as classmate hehe."
Hearing such things annoyed the quints; some potential rivals were already looking at Fuutarou with interest and maybe they could try to take him away from them! There was nothing that could make them feel more jealous.
'Mouu, why do other girls have to look at my Fuutarou-nii like that? I have to keep my guard up or they will steal him from me.', thought Miku while pouting.
Even Haruka had heard the whispers of those girls, and she hoped that no other girl would get interested so soon in her crush. It was her biggest fear.
Finally, Fuutarou and the girls found the bulletin board that showed to which classroom they were assumed, and to the joy of the quints and Haruka, they were all in the same class as Fuutarou.
"Hehe, I'm in the same class as Fuu-nii. I'm very happy.", said a giggling Ichika.
"Fuu-niisan is in our class hehe!", said instead Itsuki, hugging Fuutarou's arm lovingly.
"Well, that's very good. If we're in the same class, I can watch over you more easily.", he said with a grin.
"Fuutarou-niisama is so protective of us hehe.", said Yotsuba before hugging him and giving him a sweet kiss on the cheek that made him blush.
"Y-Yotsuba! W-what are you d-doing?! Y-you can't do that here!", he said loudly, still blushing.
"Ehhh? Why not?"
"Because we're at school, remember? You can't give me kisses here."
"W-what?! T-that's not fair!", she said, pouting. Her sisters frowned too because of that.
Meanwhile, Haruka felt again that jealousy of before and pouted as well; she didn't like that one of Fuutarou's sisters kissed him on the cheek like that, and if it wasn't for her big shyness, she would do the same. But as her crush had said, she couldn't do something like that here at school.
"Look, I don't want that people start to make rumours about me or you already on the first day. So promise me that you will refrain from kissing me or something similar, ok girls?", he told them with a serious face.
They nodded even if they continued to pout; they didn't like that they couldn't show their affection to him because of the school rules, so they accepted only because they didn't want to give troubles to him. Haruka agreed mentally with his idea, so she decided that she would hug him when they were alone. She was about to think about kissing too, but she stopped as soon as her face blushed immediately. Nino noticed this and glared in her direction; she knew that Haruka had thought about something regarding the golden eyes boy.
'Just because you're his friend, don't think that I will let you get near Fuu-niichan so easily! I love him way more than you!', thought the butterfly ribbons quint while leering at Haruka, without being noticed.
"Good, then let's go to our class, girls.", said then Fuutarou, getting a series of "Yes!" as replies. So the group walked through some corridors to find their assigned classroom, and when they found it, they could see that there were already some people inside.
Once he stepped inside the class, all the eyes of the students looked at Fuutarou, with the female ones blushing at the sight of the handsome boy. The boys instead took a look at the quints and Haruka, whispering things like "Look at those girls! They're so cute!" or "That blue haired girl is very cute too!"
But what shocked them and the female students too, was the identical appearance that quints between each other, with only their accessories and hair length that differentiated them.
"Nice to meet you, everyone! My name is Uesugi Fuutarou! I hope to work well with all of you!", suddenly said Fuutarou with a toothy grin, surprising all the students with his confidence, especially the girls that blushed and giggled.
"We have such handsome and nice boy in our class! I'm so happy!", whispered a girl to another.
"Do you think he has a girlfriend? If not, I would like to date him hehe.", replied the other girl.
Their little whispers were noticed by Fuutarou's stepsisters and Haruka, and the quints frowned out of jealousy. "Some girls are getting interested in Fuu-niisan. I don't like it.", said Itsuki with a pout.
"Hehe, Fuu-nii won't be interested in them anyways. He prefers me after all.", said a giggling Ichika, making her sisters look at her in jealousy.
"Ah! F-Fuutarou-nii is talking with some girls already!", said Miku, making the others look at where she pointed with her eye to see the golden eyes boy chatting with some girls and boys. This made appear a dark aura of jealousy around all of them while Haruka was simply pouting.
Some minutes later, a teacher arrived and asked everyone to choose a desk to occupy. Obviously, the quints took seat all around Fuutarou that sat at a desk in the middle while Haruka was just two seats at his right. The quints wanted to make sure that no girl sat next to him other than them after all.
When everyone was sitting, the teacher presented himself as their Social Studies teacher, Kinoshita Takashi, and as their home teacher. Fuutarou quickly noticed his bald head and mouse's teeth, deciding to give him Bald Rat as nickname.
Kinoshita-sensei explained then how the exams at Asahiyama worked and talked also about some sport clubs that the students could be interested in. When he mentioned for example the swimming club, Fuutarou's ears perked up and grinned as he looked forward to taking a look at that club. Even Yostuba was very interested in hearing about the clubs, being the sport lover she was.
Once he finished to explain how the school worked and everything, the teacher let the students ask him questions about something that they were curious as he didn't want to start to explain some historical facts already on the first day. At a certain point, he looked at the golden eyes boy and asked, "W-wait a second, are you Uesugi Fuutarou? The student who scored the highest points in the entry exam?"
All the eyes of the students looked at the black haired boy that grinned and said, scratching the back of his head, "Yes, it's me. I wanted to do my best in that exam, so I was happy to see the results haha."
"That's great! Having such a good student like you is truly fantastic! I also heard that you were the top swimmer in the swimming club in middle school, right?"
And this made all the students, except the quints and Haruka, shocked; they didn't know to have such a formidable boy as their classmate, especially the girls that now were even more attracted to him.
"You teachers know me pretty well I guess. Anyways, yes, I was part of the swimming club in my old middle school, and I will surely join to the one of this school too.", replied the boy, smiling confidently.
"I'm sure that the president of that club will be happy to have you in his team. Well, the lesson's time is ended so we'll see each other again tomorrow, everyone. During the next hour you're free to socialize with each other as the next teacher will be here during the second period. See you!", said Bald Rat before taking his bag and leaving the classroom.
And after he left, some students approached Fuutarou immediately to ask him various questions about his time in middle school and his interests. Even his sisters and Haruka started to socialize with everyone, but the quints took some glances at their brother to make sure that no girl got too close too him.
"Oh yeah, why did you arrive with those quintuplets and Haruka-San, Uesugi-kun?", suddenly asked a girl to him.
Nino smiled and got up from her seat to hug Fuutarou's arm, surprising him and the other students. "Hehe, because Fuu-niichan is our dear stepbrother while that girl is just his friend.", she said, making everyone surprised and emphasizing the friend status of Haruka, who frowned at that.
"Wow, so he and you 5 live all together in the same house?", asked another student, getting a nod from the butterfly ribbons girl that hugged Fuutarou's arm tighter, which made him blush a little.
"Y-yeah, I met them all when we were 12 and after some events they became part of my family.", he explained, letting his stepsister be clingy with him.
The female students sighed in relief to know that, making Nino's and her sisters' eyes twitch. 'Just because he's my stepbrother, I won't let you get too near to him and steal him away!', thought every quint.
Once the golden eyes boy told the students his relationship with the quints, everyone continued to socialize and make friends with each other, especially Fuutarou that made friends with some boys by talking about other sports and music. Even his sisters started to make some new friends already, being careful to some boys' attempts to flirt or something. They loved only their brother, so they didn't want to know anything of other boys.
Haruka too was starting to make friends, despite her big shyness that was making her blush and stutter often on her words. The girls that she was trying to befriend giggled at this and told her to relax, which calmed her a little. Still, she took some glances towards Fuutarou, admiring how he was smiling and making acquaintances confidently, which made her smile brightly too. She was happy to be in love with someone so brave like him.
The bell for the lunch break then rang, so everyone started to leave the classroom to go to the cafeteria. Itsuki looked forward to tasting the food that was served there, so she clang on her brother's arm to reach the cafeteria together. The other quints followed them while Haruka didn't manage to do the same because she was busy with talking.
'Mouu, I got distracted and Fuutarou-kun left already with his sisters. It's not fair.', she complained mentally with a dejected expression.
Meanwhile, Fuutarou was walking with his sisters towards the cafeteria. He wanted to remind Itsuki, who was still clinging on him, to not hug him so often at school, but he decided to let it be; her smile due to the idea of tasting the cafeteria's food was too cute.
Being the ones that loved cooking for him, Nino and Miku gave him a bento and some bread to have lunch with, glaring at each other in jealousy. "Fuu-niichan will like my bento more than your bread! I'm sure of it!", told Nino to the third oldest quint.
"Mom taught me how to bake, so Fuutarou-nii will love my bread the most!", replied Miku, still glaring at her sister.
The boy sighed, "Don't fight you two. You know that I like the food that you 2 make, so there's no need to argue about that."
He then patted their heads to calm them down, which did the desired effect as they blushed and giggled. But his action made the other 3 sisters pout; they wanted headpats too!
"Good, now that you calmed down, let's keep walking. Itsuki looks forward to having lunch, right?", he said, grinning at the ahoge girl.
"Of course, Fuu-niisan! Let's go!", she replied happily, making him and her sisters chuckle. So they continued to walk together, chatting and chuckling together while some students noticed them, especially the girls. The fact about Fuutarou's achievement of the top place in the entry exam and his popularity as an ace swimmer spread already between the first year students and even some older ones as it seems, so the boy was about to become popular at Asahiyama too. Which also meant that the quints had to be careful of other potential love rivals for their dear brother's heart in the future.

And here we are with the 3rd chapter! Yes, everyone, I decided to do a time skip and start with Fuutarou's and the quints' first year at Asahiyama, where the young boy started already to be quite popular among the students, especially the girls to the quints' and Haruka's annoyance.
After 3 years, the quints grew well enough to make Fuutarou flustered when he found Ichika and Itsuki sleepinb next to him and pressing their chests against his arms haha. And even the kisses that every quint gives him are now to not underestimate, in particular after Shizuku and Isanari told their son that he could marry one of his stepsisters or even all of them.
This obviously made Fuutarou blush and deny the idea because his bond with the quints as siblings, but the girls think differently and everyone of them is now more eager to win her brother's heart, especially Nino that considers the shy Haruka a homewrecker haha. What will this beginning of a school life at Asahiyma bring? What will happen? Stay tuned for more.
