Chapter 7
'F-Fuutarou-kun will like m-my yukata.', thought Haruka while admiring the white and red yukata that she was wearing in front of the mirror in her room.
It was Thursday evening, and the shy blue haired girl had just finished to try on the nice yukata that she bought with her mother to go to the fireworks festival.
In fact, since she was going there with Fuutarou and his family, Haruka's mother was very happy for her daughter and helped her to choose a yukata that could attract the attention of the golden eyes boy.
Unfortunately, Haruka's parents couldn't go to the festival as their jobs as accountants would keep them busy. Still, the fact that her daughter would go there with the boy she loved made them very happy, bringing them also to encourage her to make a move on him and kiss him.
Such suggestion had made her blush fiercely, as the only thought of kissing Fuutarou's lips was enough to make her all flustered.
'E-Even it embarrasses me s-so much, I have t-to try. I-I w-want t-to s-show him how much I like him.', she thought anyways, feeling that kissing him at the festival was the only way to make her feelings for him reach him completely.
Fuutarou had shown to be a little attracted to her already, but because she didn't confess to him yet, he always treated her as a friend. But tonight she will make her best to change that, even if the idea of kissing him was way too embarrassing for her.
In the Uesugi household instead, Miku was showing her light blue yukata with a clouds pattern to her stepbrother, who was wearing a red shirt upon a white t-shirt and a pair of blue jeans.
"F-Fuutarou-nii, h-how do I look?", asked his stepsister, a little flushed.
The young boy took a close look at Miku's yukata before smiling and saying, "It looks great on you, Miku. It makes you more beautiful."
"Fuutarou-nii, thank you!", she happily told him, hugging him and kissing him on the cheek, which made him blush.
"Fuu-nii, check ours too hehe.", called for him the voice of Ichika from behind.
Fuutarou turned around to see his other 4 stepsisters, all wearing different yukatas: a yellow and orange one for Ichika, a purple one for Nino, a green one for Yotsuba and a bright red one for Itsuki.
"Fuutarou-niisama, what do you think? Do you like our yukatas?", asked the bunny ribbon quint, clinging on him while pressing her chest on him.
Blushing, he scratched the back of his head before replying, "I-I would lie if I said that I don't. All of you 5 l-look amazing."
Such reply made them so happy that they giggled and started to plant various kiss on their brother's face, making him blush more.
"Hehe, Onii-chan is being showered with love by my big sisters again.", suddenly said the giggling Raiha, who watched the scene with Isanari and Shizuku.
Both of Raiha and her mom were wearing a yukata too: a white one for the little Uesugi girl and a black and purple one for Shizuku, who was complimented by her husband for how beautiful she always was. A compliment that made her kiss him lovingly and also whisper in his ear that she would thank him with something special in their bedroom at night. Obviously, no one of their children had heard her.
"Good job for complimenting your sisters' yukatas, son! That shows that you're accepting more to marry them in the future haha!", told Isanari to his son with a toothy grin.
"D-Dad, please. D-don't talk about that again.", replied his son, blushing while remembering the kisses on the lips that he had with 3 of his stepsisters.
"Don't worry, Papa. Fuu-niichan and I will have a nice and unforgettable wedding in the future!", exclaimed Nino, hugging her brother's arm tightly.
"W-wait, Nino.", he said, feeling her soft chest on his arm.
'Hehe, Fuu-niichan likes me as I do for him. That wonderful kiss that we had proves it. Also, I-I know he likes it w-when I cling on him like this.', she thought, both happy and embarrassed to press her chest on Fuutarou's arm.
"I will marry him too!", said in unison the other 4 quints, latching on their brother as well, who blushed deeper while his parents and Raiha chuckled.
''I knew this would happen.', he mentally sighed but smiling, feeling completely used since some time to his sisters' strong affection for him.
After the Uesugi family was ready to go to the festival, they all got out of their house to start walking towards the place where the festival would take place.
In this way they met Haruka, who was waiting for them against a wall and smiled when she saw them. She got greeted warmly by Isanari, Shizuku, Raiha and Fuutarou, but a little coldly by the quints.
Despite this, when her love interest told her that her yukata looked very good on her, she blushed profusely and smiled, glad that he liked it. But seeing such interaction between the 2 of them caused the quints to get jealous.
'Mouu, Fuu-niisan will be stolen by Haruka-San like this! I don't like it.', thought Itsuki, clinging on her brother by hugging his left arm.
"Itsuki, what's wrong?", asked her brother with a sweatdrop.
"I-I want to go the festival t-to try all the food of the stands, Fuu-niisan.", she replied, smiling at him.
"M-me t-too, Fuutarou-kun. I-I heard that the y-yakisoba of one stand there is very good.", said instead Haruka to catch her love interest's attention, causing Itsuki and Nino to glare at her.
'You want to seduce my Fuu-niichan, huh? I won't let you, thieving cat!', thought the butterfly ribbons quint, latching on Fuutarou's other arm. And like her, also the other quints clang on him, making him blush while Haruka pouted in jealousy.
'You're too popular like I was at your age, son haha.', thought Isanari, chuckling at Fuutarou's expenses like Raiha and Shizuku did. But the young boy heard them laughing and he frowned in annoyance, making a note to himself to put some chili sauce in Isanari's food later in revenge.
Some minutes later of good walking, the group had finally arrived to the place where the fireworks festival was organized in, admiring the various food or game stands that they could already see.
Being the most childish between her sisters, Yotsuba hugged her brother and asked if they could play immediately some games to win some prizes. And also Raiha hugged him for the same reason.
Smiling, he nodded, so he and his sisters started to play a shooting game where they had to shoot water to make a balloon burst. The stand owner gave him, Yotsuba and Raiha a water gun to each one, and after Isanari paid for a round, the 3 siblings started to shoot and to fill the balloons of water.
Raiha had some problems to focus on the target, but not Yotsuba and Fuutarou, who managed to make their balloons explode.
"Yayy, we did it, Nii-sama!", happily exclaimed Yotsuba, hugging her brother and kissing him on the cheek, which made him blush while Haruka pouted.
'I-I want to kiss him too like that.', thought the shy girl, feeling jealous of the bunny ribbon quint.
"Well, since you 2 managed to make your balloons explode, you won these nice stuffed cats!", told the stand owner while giving 2 stuffed cats to the two siblings: a black one to Fuutarou and a grey one to Yotsuba.
Upon receiving the prize, Yotsuba smiled happily and showed to Raiha the toy, managing to make the little girl smile as well as she didn't win anything.
After that, Miku and Ichika grabbed Fuutarou's arms to go to try some traditional masks and take a photo together while Itsuki and Nino wanted to make him taste their crepes. And the young boy gladly took a bite of their food offer, saying that the crepes tasted good.
During this, Haruka frowned because she wanted to have his attention as well, but the quints were always all around him. She was busy with thinking too much about this that she tripped while walking, risking to fall.
"Ahhh!", she screamed in fear, closing her eyes before falling on the ground. But instead of feeling the cold ground, she felt something soft on her lips. So she slowly opened her eyes to meet the golden eyes of Fuutarou, whose lips were pressed against hers!
This made Haruka blush a storm and get off him immediately, with steam coming out of her ears while she was looking down embarrassed.
'I-I-I kissed Fuutarou-kun on t-t-the lips! B-b-but how? Did he s-save me from f-f-falling? Ugh, s-so the k-kiss was accidental.', she thought, still flushed but a little sad that her first kiss with her crush wasn't romantic as she expected.
Still, when she took a little look to Fuutarou, she noticed that he was blushing too while he was offering his hand to help her to get up, apologizing for kissing her like that.
Such kindness made her heart beat faster and blush deeper, but she smiled anyways and took his hand to get up. Despite being accidental, the kiss was very nice for her, and the fact that made Fuutarou blush too made her happy.
But who was not happy with what had happened were Fuutarou's stepsisters, who were all glaring at Haruka with jealousy in the eyes and a dark aura around their bodies. Isanari and Shizuku were instead playing a game with Raiha, so they missed their son "stealing" accidentally a kiss from Haruka.
'Fufu, this girl thinks that she can freely kiss Fuu-nii like that? I don't think so.', thought Ichika, smiling to hide the strong jealousy she was feeling.
'T-This h-homewrecker…She kissed Fuu-niichan in front of me like that?! How dare she!', thought an angry Nino, trying her best to not snap against the blue haired girl.
Miku, Yotsuba and Itsuki had thoughts similar to their sisters', especially the Sengoku lover, who was pouting as she still didn't kiss Fuutarou. And the fact that Haruka kissed him like that in front of her made her frown more and decide that she couldn't wait anymore.
So she went to her brother to ask him, blushing, if he could help her to find a toilet as she didn't want to go alone in tet middle of so many people.
"Sure, no problem. I won't let any jerk lay a finger on you. You girls instead wait here. Miku and I will come back quickly.", he replied to his sister's request while turning to the others and winking at them.
They didn't complain about it, but the other 4 quints wanted to stick with him anyways and didn't like that she was alone with him; she would surely try to do something with him in that way.
And speaking of her, the young girl was currently walking while Fuutarou's hand to find a toilet, but when she saw that they got far enough from the others, she turned to him and asked him, "F-Fuutarou-nii, earlier I-I bought a l-little surprise for you. C-could you close your eyes?"
"Oh, a surprise? Sure. You made me curious about it haha.", he replied, closing his eyes and smiling.
Seeing that this was the right moment, Miku slowly leaned forward and kissed Fuutarou on the lips, causing him to open his eyes indeed in surprise while a blush appeared on his face.
'Now e-even Miku is kissing me. Even if she and her sisters are my sisters too, I cannot avoid doing this.', he thought, starting to kiss her back while placing an arm behind her back to bring closer to him.
Feeling that he was reciprocating her kiss, Miku was internally happy as this showed that her beloved brother was attracted to her and her sisters. But now she and he were alone, so she could keep his attention on herself.
They continued to kiss each other for some seconds more before separating their lips to catch some breath. "W-wow, you 5 are really incredible. Kissing me by surprise like that. Plus, didn't you have to go to the toilet, Miku?", he asked her, flushed but narrowing his eyes.
"Umm, s-sorry, Fuutarou-nii. T-that was just an e-excuse to stay alone with you and k-k-kiss you. S-s-seeing that girl kiss you like that made me really jealous.", she replied embarrassed, her blush matching the color of her hair.
Hearing that made the young boy blush more and sigh, "I s-see. I-I understand that y-you got jealous, but that kiss was just an accident. And you know I don't like lies, Miku. "
"I-I-I'm sorry, Fuutarou-nii.", she said with a sad expression, which lightened up when she felt his hand patting her head.
"I'm not angry with you, Miku. I just want that you and your sisters always tell me the truth. That's all. We're family after all.", he told her with a tooth grin.
"T-thank you, Fuutarou-nii. I'm h-happy that you're not upset. I-I love you.", she replied, smiling and hugging him.
"I love you too, Miku.", he said while returning her hug.
'But maybe, more than as a sister. And this goes for your sisters too.', he thought, blushing and hugging her tighter, which made the young girl smile brightly.
Following their sweet moment, the 2 siblings went back to their family and Haruka, with the other quints starting to interrogate Miku about what she did alone with Fuutarou.
"I-I j-just showed him how much I-I love him.", she replied, making her sisters gasp while Haruka was shocked.
Understanding what Miku meant, Ichika smiled and went towards Fuutarou. "Fuu-nii, look here.", she told him, making him look at her.
And this was her occasion to kiss him on the lips, making his eyes widen and coloring his cheeks of red.
"That's my boy haha! Shizuku, take a photo!", shouted Isanari, prompting his wife to take a photo of Ichika's and Fuutarou's kiss.
"Wow, Ichika-nee and Onii-chan love each other so much!", said instead Raiha, flushed because of the scene in front of her eyes.
Who wasn't shocked but more jealous instead were the other quints; even if each one of them had already kissed Fuutarou on the lips, seeing another girl kissing him like that was enough to make them jealous.
Also Haruka pouted and got jealous, especially because her kiss with Fuutarou wasn't romantic as the one he was having with Ichika. This made her also understand that she couldn't underestimate the big affection of the quints for the young boy.
Said young boy was still visibly stunned by how lovingly Ichika was kissing him in front of their family and Haruka, but after some seconds, their lips detached and a blushing Ichika looked at him with a happy smile.
"Fufu, now I got to kiss Fuu-nii me too like this.", she said, giving her brother a hug.
The ace swimmer was still flushed because of what just happened, but he couldn't say in his mind that he didn't like the kiss; like with his other stepsisters, he wanted to reciprocate it. Still, he didn't as he didn't want that his parents teased him after; he'd find it annoying.
And on a cue or not, some lights began to explode in the sky, creating a fantastic spectacle of lights and colors in the same dark blue sky. Fuutarou, his family and Haruka turned their gazes towards the amazing spectacle, smiling.
The quints clang on their brother once again, and surprisingly, also Haruka tood a hold of his shirt, despite the huge blush on her face.
Nino and Itsuki pouted and wanted to try to detach her from their brother, but they didn't in the end as they just wanted to enjoy this unforgettable moment with their brother. And also Ichika, Miku and Yotsuba felt the same.
Meanwhile, Isanari and Shizuku were smiling to watch not only the fireworks, with Raiha hopping on Isanari's shoulders, but also the scene with Fuutarou being hugged by his dear sisters. Their smile was also due the fact that Fuutarou didn't refuse Ichika's kiss on his lips, so that meant that he was starting to feel more attracted to his stepsisters.
'Haha, I'm sorry for Haruka-chan, but I really hope that Fuutarou decides to fully reciprocated his sisters' feelings for him. It's since when they met as kids that those girls like him, and after they became part of our family, their love for my son increased during these 3 years. So do your best, girls. Make Fuutarou fall completely for you!', thought the blond man, mentally rooting for his daughters.
Also Shizuku was thinking about the same thing, as like her husband, she fully knew how strong the quints' feelings for Fuutarou were. Of course she felt sorry for Haruka, but the young blue haired girl had to do her best if she wanted to make the golden eyes boy fall for her.
'Plus, even if my daughters are competing with each other, they will soon decide to share Fuu-chan. So I can organize a big wedding for them in the future hehe.', thought the black haired woman, starting to imagine her son being married to the quints already.
On the other hand, the little Raiha was using her father's smartphone to take photos of the fireworks in the sky, taking also a look at the photo of Ichika and Fuutarou kissing.
'Onii-chan really loves the big sisters hehe.', she thought, giggling.
"Fuutarou-niisama, let's make a wish while watching the fireworks!", suggested Yotsuba while hugging her beloved brother.
"Like with a shooting star. Nice idea, Yotsuba!", said Itsuki, agreeing with the idea like the other sisters did.
"Alright then. Let's all close our eyes and make our wishes.", said then Fuutarou, getting a "Yes!" from everyone.
So he, the quints and Haruka closed their eyes for a moment, thinking about what they wished for the most.
'I want to stay always together with Fuu-nii/Fuu-niichan/Fuutarou-nii/Fuutarou-niisama/Fuu-niisan.', was the wish of the quints.
'I-I want to b-be able to confess t-to Fuutarou-kun.', was Haruka's wish.
'I wish for a nice job after graduating that allows me to take care of my family.', was instead Fuutarou's wish, in whose mind appeared the images of his parents, Raiha and his dear stepsisters.
When they all made their wishes, each one of them opened their eyes and the quints planted some kisses on their brother's face, who blushed.
"A-and these k-kisses were for what?", he asked them.
"Hehe, it's to make sure that our wishes come true, Fuu-niichan. D-do you want another to be more sure?", told him Nino, blushing and smiling at him.
"I-It's not necessary.", he replied, looking away embarassed, which made Nino and her sisters giggle.
Haruka, on the other hand, frowned in jealousy at how the 5 sisters acted so lovely with Fuutarou again, so she immediately hugged her love interest.
"Haruka?", he asked her in surprise.
"I-It's j-just t-to m-make my wish come true.", she shyly replied while the aura of jealousy of the quints appeared.
"Let go of Fuu-niichan/Fuutarou-nii!", shouted Nino and Miku, separating Haruka from their brother to then hug him, which made him sigh.
' And here we go again with their jealousy.', he thought, sweatdropping at how also the others joined in to hug him and feeling sorry for Haruka. When it came to other girls getting close to him or even hugging him, his sisters could be very jealous.
In fact, he remembered an episode in which a classmate had baked some cookies for him that he accepted, and afte that, he noticed how his sisters glared at her.
Since he had always been popular at school for being the one that scared bullies and that was glad to help with studying, Fuutarou had various girls now at Asahiyama that were interested in him.
And for this reason, his sisters didn't trust the girls that he was close to; they were scared that they would take him away from them. It was a sign of the strong love of the quints for him.
Once the spectacle of fireworks in the sky ended and the Uesugi family and Haruka took some photos together as memories, the group decided to go home as it was very late.
Thankfully they had already eaten with yakisoba, okonomiyaki and other delicious things offered by the stands. And obviously, Itsuki was the one to eat more than everyone while also sharing some of her food with her beloved brother to make him taste it.
And now she was walking back to home with him, their family and Haruka while holding Fuutarou's hands.
"Hehe, the food was very good! Don't you think, Fuu-niisan?"
"Yeah, I agree. Thank you for making me taste the okonomiyaki. They were really good, Itsuki.", he replied, causing her to hug his arm tightly, so much that Fuutarou could feel her soft chest pressing against him, which made him blush.
'S-she and the others are really well endowed.', he thought to then mentality berating himself for having such thoughts on his stepsisters.
Itsuki saw that he was conscious of her and smiled; the fact that he had reciprocating her kiss and was attracted to her made her happy.
"Fuu-nii, I want your attention too fufu.", suddenly said Ichika, hugging Fuutarou's other arm in the same way that Itsuki did.
She also got close to his ear and whispered, "I'm not wearing anything under my yukata fufu."
This made Fuutarou stunned and blush fiercely while Ichika giggled at his flustered state. Itsuki and the other sisters pouted and hugged Fuutarou as well while Isanari and Shizuku chuckled.
The shy Haruka frowned again, but instead of trying to hug him as well, she decided that she would do it another time; she didn't want to be got off him again.
Some minutes later, the group had reached Haruka's house where the blue haired girl greeted everyone before entering inside. But while waving to them, she smiled brightly in Fuutarou's direction, making him smile back while the quints pouted.
After that, the Uesugi family took a few minutes to arrive to their house and enter inside to put away the souvenirs that they bought.
"Nii-sama, I was happy when we won together the shooting game! Let's take a bath together to celebrate!", said Yotsuba to her brother with a happy smile.
"W-what?! No, we can't. It's embarrassing!"
"Moou, come on! I want to take a bath together like we used to do as kids!", she said with a pout.
"F-Fuutarou-nii, I-I want to take a bath with y-you me too.", said a flushed Miku, clinging on him.
"Me too, Fuu-niichan!", were Nino's words.
"Us too!", said instead Ichika and Itsuki.
Before such scene, Isanari and Shizuku chuckled. "Haha, come on, son! You 6 are family, so there's nothing wrong with it. Unless you want to do something more with your sisters haha.", said Isanari with a cheeky grin, making Fuutarou and the quints blush profusely.
"D-Dad!", shouted his son, irritated by how Isanari was teasing him.
"I want to take a bath with Onii-chan and the big sisters.", said the giggling Raiha.
'I guess that there's no way out of this.' , thought Fuutarou, nodding reluctantly to bath together Raiha and his stepsisters , which made the quints smile and hug him tighter while their parents grinned.
It wasn't like he hated the idea of taking a bath with his sisters, but since the quints had grown quite considerably, the young boy was pretty conscious of them. So seeing them naked would make him flustered easily.
On the other hand, his stepsisters always adored bathing together with him, as he used to help them to wash their hair or to play by splashing water. Even if this was something that he did with Yotsuba, knowing how playful she always was.
Now that he accepted to take a bath with them, they looked forward to wash his back and maybe take a nice look to his body. Of course they wouldn't try anything more interesting since Raiha would be there. But they would surely do the next time, when it was only them and him haha.

Chapter 7 for you, everyone! What an interesting course of the events: first Haruka accidentally kisses Fuutarou on the lips in front of his family, then Miku kisses him lovingly while being alone and Ichika surprises him with a kiss in front of everyone. With Isanari taking a photo of that haha.
Despite this, the fireworks festival seems to have been a memorable and nice moment for the Uesugi family and Haruka, a moment where Fuutarou, his stepsisters and Haruka also made some wishes for the future.
Knowing how much the quints loved their brother, their wish was predictable like Fuutarou's and Haruka's. And it looks like the magic of the firework is taking effect by judging how Fuutarou accepted to take a bath with his sisters. Even if he's conscious of how attractive the quints are haha.
