Remus Lupin could not believe his bad luck. James and Sirius had once again got into some sort of trouble and once again he had found himself in Professor Dumbledore's office ready to make excuses. He wasn't even sure what they had done. He had been off on his patrols with Lily. After five years of having to make excuses he was sick and tired of having to save his friends from getting into trouble all the time. Never mind the fact that the full moon was 3 days ago and he was exhausted.
"Remus do you have any idea what your friends may have been doing tonight in a hidden room on the seventh floor?" Dumbledore looked at him.
Remus gulped. He knew what they were doing. He knew it was to help him. He really hoped he wouldn't crack. They were becoming Animagi so that they would be able to be with him during his monthly transformations. Dumbledore was kind enough to find a place for him to go but the lack of company was not fun at all. He also hoped he wasn't going to be asked of how they knew about the room of requirement. That would mean they would lose the Map.
Finding his voice Remus looked down "No, Sir."
"Well that would be all then would you care for some Lemon Drops?" Dumbledore said with a kind smile.
"No thank you Professor." Remus had managed to keep his friends intentions safe once again. He always thought he would crack. As he left the Headmaster's office Remus couldn't help but notice that it looked like Dumbledore knew what was going on anyways.
