Just something that I wrote at 3 in the morning when I couldn't get back to sleep after waking up to get something to drink. I don't know how the idea came to be but it did and I'm glad. I happen to like this little piece quite a lot. Oh and don't mind the shortness of it. It's supposed to be like that. Hope you enjoy it! -Skitters off.-

Slowly Bakura snuck into Ryou's room. He didn't think that it was fair that his Hikari claimed the only room in the apartment and the only hairbrush as well. But that was about to change. Oh yes, Bakura was putting his thieving skills to the ultimate test.
"Bakura what are you doing?" Bakura widened his eyes and quickly turned around which made him face to face with the smaller one.
"I thought you were asleep." Bakura mentally winced. It didn't come out as he wanted it to. "I was just going to make sure you were tucked in." He added quickly.
Ryou merely raised a fine silver brow (Bakura was sure he plucked them but wasn't about to say that to his Hikari's face.) "I went to get something to drink." He continued boredly and pushed by to get into his room. "Now if you excuse me, Yami, I'm tired."
Bakura smiled sweetly and nodded, graciously stepping out of Ryou's way a few seconds too late. "Of course, Hikari." The smile turned into a small smirk as he followed him and made sure he was comfortable. "Goodnight, Ryou!" he said softly as he turned off the lights.
"Goodnight…" a yawn, "… Yami." Ryou shifted in his bed to get comfortable before adding. "Oh, and Bakura, put my brush back." He snickered when heard Bakura growl, slam the brush down then march out of his room.
As he walked to the living room where his bed (a. k. a the couch) was he glared at nothing mumbling something about 'stupid Hikari and his stupid hairbrush.' Which he was determined to get.
