Challenge Rules: Put music library on shuffle and pair my top 10 ships with the first 10 songs. Each ship gets a story related to the song with decreasing times: ship #1 gets 10 min., ship #2 gets 9 min., ship #3 gets 8 min., etc. So ship #10 is a hot mess 1 min. panic attack.

Rose hadn't known it would end like this. If she had, she would have never created such a perfect image of her future. Their future. Together forever.
He was like a shell washed up on the shore, tossed about by the waves, presenting fleeting beauty to a lucky beholder before vanishing, being swept up by the tide and taken away. He was never one to settle in the same place for too long. And she knew that. She just thought this time would be different.
He fancied himself reckless, and she supposed he was. Uninhibited and wild in most matters. Fearless and slightly insane in his determination.
Except for one affair. The most important one, in her opinion.
Though she had no sure fire way of knowing, she liked to believe she was in tune with the desires of his heart - err - hearts. It's what made her think this would work. But he had been stubbornly timid and afraid — traits that she wasn't used to in her doctor.
He could have given her something, anything, to ease this unrelenting ache. A form of closure so she could try to live her life. But, no.
Her doctor, always the problem solver, had given her a puzzle with a missing piece.
