Eyes slowly opened. He looked around, his surroundings completely unrecognizable. Then the memory came to him. Killed by a speeding truck. The boy was rightly confused. If he died then why does it feel like he was alive. Finding the will to get up the boy made towards the door. Opening it he saw that it led to a small hallway, with a door directly across from him and one at the end of the hallway. He looked to his left and saw a kitchen/living room type hybrid. It was an apartment then. Heading toward the door at the end of the hallway he found it was a bathroom.

He studied his features in the mirror. Honey coloured eyes and deep mocha skin. What surprised him the most was his hair. It was shoulder length and as dark as midnight. Feeling his hair it was silky smooth. Still staring with fascination at his appearance he suddenly got a feeling that he was supposed to be somewhere. He walked back to his room and opened the dresser. A black long sleeve shirt and grey shorts seemed to be the only clothes in there. Getting dressed he headed out the front door. As he headed out what he saw made him freeze.

It was a mountain. A mountain with four heads of the town's leaders. He put his head in his hands. This couldn't be happening. To die and be put in this particular world? He needed to find a way back to his original home, because things were about to go to shit if they hadn't already.

He needed to get his bearings. Shoving his hands in his pockets the boy let his body take over and lead him.

As he walked the streets he took in the view. The city was beautiful and full of life as people went about their daily business. He zoned out as his body kept walking. He found himself outside of a school there was nothing really special about it from the front, the only thing sticking out was a tree with a swing. In a couple of minutes he found himself inside sitting down at a long desk, it was more of a table really. Beside him were two kids, if he had to guess their age he would place them around eleven or twelve.

"QUIET DOWN!" the instructor had tan skin a spiky ponytail and a scar across his face.

"We have a test today." A chorus of groans rang throughout the classroom. The boy ignored it. If he truly was stuck in this world he would ace any test. He would have to. He listened as roll call was taken.

"Maruku."

"Present." The boy perked up a little. At least now he knew his name. Zoning back out the boy was lost in thought. If he wanted to survive and get home then he would have to be smart and strong. He would draw up a plan for training later. For right now he just had to get through the day and try and find out how he got stuck in fucking Konohagakure.
