They exited the Whirlpool in a clearing near a lake some hundred feet away. Birds chirping and nature just being nature. "This is a nice place." Will commented. "Yes and there are a few teens a bit of a distance away. " Nico commented. "Lets go and meet them!" Will said cheerfully kissing Nico.

"Yea yea just be prepared." He answered smiling slightly.

They advanced quietly not having drawn their weapons yet. If they were friendly good for all if not the weapons could be withdrawn quickly. As they crept closer Nico noticed something. One of the girls appeared to know they were there. Tensing up, he could feel the earth thru with power ready to act due to his heritage. The others however seemed oblivious.

"Will one of them can sense us. Stay alert." Nico ordered. Regarding injuries Will was the clear boss but on the battlefield there it was only Nico.

They got out of the trees and entered the eyesight of the teenagers. Each one of them the power of a Olympian demigod whilst one with what seemed like multiple godly powers being on Big Three level.

The girl drew water from the lake and swirled it around her ready to act. The bald kid took out his staff whilst the girl stood firm. "Who are you?" One of the boys asked, clearly not a bender but something akin to a clear sighted mortal. "Gathering information." Will answered and Nico internally facepalmed.

Being a son of Apollo meant that he can never lie and of course a group of nervous kids will assume the worst. "Fire Nation spies!" The boy shouted and threw a boomerang. It seemed to be of sentimental value so Nico decided against destroying it with a knife and instead captured it and threw it back much harder.

It hit the target and he fell down unconscious. That got the rest into action. The Avatar kid started blowing gusts of wind at them trying to make them unbalanced. One problem with that strategy, they were demigods.

Nico deciding to not kill any of the kids summoned a bone Hammer, blunt force for the win! Will used firebending for the first time and lit his hands.

Nico dodged a vein of water and cut it in half severing the girls connection. He leapted over an attack from the avatar and swung his hammer with deadly precision. It hit the watergirl straight in the head knocking her out too.

The avatar kid tried water but after Nico made a bone shield deflecting it all he gave up, before any more winds could be thrown he was also knocked unconscious.

Then it was the rock lady who was duelling with Will. Fire and Rock smashed against eachother. Will clearly not wanting to hurt anyone used them sot aggressive element purely defensive.

She continued to dogde every move as if she could see them before it happened. Wait. Will uses stances that she must know and somehow she feels it without sight. Must be something with Eartbending and she has never lifted her feet. Brilliant, she has eyes on her feet.

Nico deciding to test a new ability unleashed his Earthquake powers on a localsied area just under her feet making her completely blind. In that moment he summon hand cuffs of bone and tied her up.

"Now please why did you attack us." "You are spying on the Avatar that's why." "Uh no, we were gathering intel so we could defeat the Fire Nation." "He used fire." "There are good people everywhere."

Whilst Nico was interrogating the prisoner Will was rummaging through their maps having somehow calmed down the giant bison thing. "Aha! There is a prison nearby we can eliminate. Lets start by helping people and creating a militia." Will mused aloud.

"Good enough for me. Earth lady those cuffs will dissolve in 30 minutes which is also when I presume the others to wake up." Nico said before taking Will's arm and shadow traveling away.

Toph, the greatest Eartbender alive had been beaten by a novice firebender and a non-bender. HOW! Not only that, but the non-bender had also taken out all the others then managed to vanish into thin air right in front of her. It shouldn't be possible.

She could only hope they were truthfull and were against the Fire Nation. Mrs Lie Detector could surpisingly not sense if the dark gloomy teen lied or not it was very annoying.

Nico and Will got out from behind a tree. "Do we plan or go in now?" Nico aske his counterpart already dressed in full battlearmor. "You can't do a plan even if your life depended on it." Wil joked playfully shoving Nico's shoulder. Nico smirked but said nothing.

He looked over the area with his soul sense. 12 prisoners 6 of them earthbenders. 33 guards 20 firebenders.

The prisoners were huddled in a cell all together. The wole complex made temporary, ready to embark towards a more permanent resident later. They prisoners were talking in hushed tones with each other vary of their guards.

A shrill whistle of sorts broke them out of their stupor. The sound was made by a bone knife traveling at extreme speeds burying itself deep in a fire guard head. Arrows were shot and three more guards fell.

Suddenly a man emerged from the shadows. He got bone knifes in each hand slicing throats as he went jumping in and out of shadows. A second man humped down and started shooting fire at the firebenders. Whilst the fire nation flames were deep red filled with hate the new arrivals fire was inviting and hopeful with bright orange.

The man used his bow in conjunction with fire and eliminated the last enemies together with the shadow man. Then they both turned to the prisoners. The shadow nodded to his companion who shot out a beam of concentrated fire melting down the bars guarding the prisoners.

"You all have a choice. Go home to your families or join us, get training and end the Fire Nation." Shadow said. "So badass Neeks." Will said playfully. Nico was lucky his mask was on or else people would have easily seen his blush.

His armor merged into his necklace leaving him there standing in normal clothes. Will got to work helping the wounded. The fact that a firebender could heal shocked most of the prisoners and they decided to follow these men then and there.

On an open field a secluded place stood 12 recruits and 2 leaders training roman battle tactics. The Earthbenders being artillery whilt the non-benders being trained as a Legionarry equipped with bone swords and shields. Carved on them are the symbols of a skull and a sun.

The group learned quickly and got ready for their first jobs.

"We have gotten intel on a prisoner transfer down the road and you are assigned to eliminate the guards and free the prisoners, offer them the same we did, even if they are firebenders. As you have seen from my boyfriend here good firebenders clearly exists." Nico finished. Maybe he had a bit of Zeus genes too, a flair for dramatics.

"Yea we ripped out their valuables and they all surrenders, bunch of whimps if you ask me." A guard said to his comrad. Before the other man could respond and huge boulder crushed him. Soon enough a barrage of small rocks rained down on the convoy as well as a group of 6 men going in tight formation slicing up anyone in their way.

"No casualties and no survivors from the guards." A Legionary reported. "Good, arm them up with the swords and shields and train them. We need to go somewhere else. I am leaving this in your capable hands." Nico said before Shadow-Traveling away with Will in tow.
