He Came To Me

Kagome's P.O.V.

He did it again. He left me for her. Why, I don't know. What does she have that I don't? I'm alive and she isn't. He doesn't understand how much it hurts; I don't think he even cares. I thought I would be alone for the rest of my life, but I was wrong. He came to save me, to take me from the darkness that swallowed me whole. I can still remember that day clearly…

Flashback

I had been crying; crying because he told me that he didn't love me. That he loved Kikyo instead of me. "Why? Why do you love her? She's dead and I'm alive!" "Kagome you don't understand. I'm sorry, please forgive me." Inuyasha pleaded. "NO! Just leave me alone! I don't want to see you, EVER!" I yelled. He looked at with sadness and guilt, but I didn't care. I hated him. He left me there to wallow in my depression. That's when HE came. "Miko, are you all right?" he asked in his cold, smooth voice. I looked up to see the expressionless Sesshomaru standing before me. "Ses-Sesshomaru? What are you doing here?" I asked. "I came to see if the miko was okay." He replied his face still expressionless. "Oh, Sesshomaru!" I yelled as I flung my arms around him.I know hewas shocked to say the least, but he wrapped his arms around me anyway. He strokedmy hair while she sobbed into his chest. "Why would he do this to me Sesshomaru? All I did was love him." I said as I gazed into his golden orbs. "He does not appreciate you as I do." He replied. "What?" I asked totally stunned. 'Did he just say what I thought he said?' "Miko, the more I presented myself to my half-brother, I have acquired feelings for you. You have great power within you, but my brother was foolish. He could not see the potential you hold. And yet, I do not know your name." He said smirking. "It's Kagome." I replied. I couldn't believe it! The super, extremely cold Sesshomaru was telling me that he liked me! "So, you like me?" "I prefer the word 'love'." He leaned in to kiss me. I was too shocked to move. I just stared as his eyes slowly closed; we were just inches apart. Then his lips lightly touched mine. At that moment I realized that I never liked nor loved Inuyasha. I loved Sesshomaru all along. I wrapped my arms around him, deepening the kiss. Well, I guess you can tell what happened next.

End Flashback

I smiled at the memories of the love that Sesshomaru and I shared. It's been three years now, three years since I last saw Inuyasha and three years since Sesshomaru claimed me as his. "Mommy, where is daddy and Rin?" asked a two year old Sakura. "They're both in the garden sweetie." "Okay!" she said before she skipped off to find her father and sister.

Normal P.O.V

Kagome sighed in content as she watched her daughter skip merrily out of the room. She heard her daughter stop in the hallway. "Hi, daddy!" she said waving. "Hey. How's my big girl?" he asked as he picked her up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm fine." She replied "Well, go ahead andplay with your sister while I talk to mommy, okay?" "Sure thing daddy!" she called over her shoulder, skipping off again. "My lovely Kagome," Sesshomaru started "How are you this fine day?" he asked wrapping his arms around her. "All is well, my love." She replied "You know what." He started "I think I want another child, but a son. For an heir." He finished "And," He continued "I think you will enjoy the process, like I would." He said smirking. "Your such a hentai." Kagome giggled. "Yes, but I'm your hentai." "I love you Sesshomaru." "As do I you, my dearest Kagome." He said then kissed her passionately.
