The whole building shook as the Son of the sea god was forcibly slammed into the shop from the immense power of Berserker. Percy went through wall after wall until finally stopping in presumably the girl's bathroom.
Percy groaned as he stood up looking down on his body for any damages and saw that his chest plate was destroyed only leaving his gauntlets
'Aw man, how am I going to explain this to Tyson?' Percy thought to himself.
He was interrupted from his thoughts, when the mysterious Berserker followed him into the girl's bathroom funnily enough. Ilya was on his shoulder looking down on him.
"Wow, I didn't think you were a pervert" she teased him innocently. Percy had the decency to blush, his eyes trying to come up with an excuse, all before getting serious.
"I don't know what you want from me, but I recommend leaving" Percy warned although it was starting to become clear that he may not stand a chance against this man. This hulk of a man did just bitch slap Percy into a store and through about 5 walls, it was a miracle that he could walk
But he wasn't going to take a beating laying down, no that's not how he works. If he thought of things like that, then he would have been keeling over through all his fights and Percy never did that. So, he readied his battle stance and prepared to fight.
"You still refuse to become my servant? I promise you won't die if you just join me" she offered. she was impressed by him and his tenacity. Not many people could just easily get up after taking the strongest hero in Greece's attack, even if it wasn't full strength. She was starting to think that he may very well be the Perseus from legends.
'Berserker kill him for me' she commanded Berserker and he complied as he always does and charged forth, swinging his sword axe horizontally.
Percy for his credit managed to clash Riptide with the stone weapon and redirect it to the side Since the weapon was so massive, it was stuck inside the wall which Percy took advantage of and slashed Berserker against the chest although it bounced off. Percy was then backhanded with Berserker's other hand sending him out into the streets.
'That's going to leave a mark!' Percy winced 'If only I could find some water, then I'm sure I can beat him, or it's bad news for me.'
Berserker with speed that betrayed his size ran forward and spun around like a Beyblade, gaining momentum with every rotation completed. He attacked again but this time, Percy easily dodged it and flipped over Berserker's body. He kicked his legs from under him and finally roundhouse kicked him in the back of his head sending Berserker flying away.
Percy didn't know what was causing it, but he could react easier now for some reason.
SIDESTEP TO THE RIGHT AND AIM FOR HIS NECK
Percy obeyed and not a second later, Berserker was charging forth with faster speed, leaving footprints behind in his steps. Percy was ready for this time and smoothly sidestepped the lightning fast jab that was aimed for him. He aimed his sword, ready to cleave the mad man's head off but then Berserker surprised him by dropping down into pushup position and stood up headbutting Percy right in the jaw sending him up into the air, only to be then sent down by Berserker's spin slash downwards. His feet hit the floor causing a massive crater to form as the force of the blow was so powerful.
'I need to get out of here pronto!' He didn't want to destroy any more of the property around here, but this thing was preventing him from leaving.
'If only I had a way to get a way out of here!' as if the world heard his pleas, a magic circle appeared and out of it appeared an awfully familiar Pegasus.
"Blackjack!" Percy cried out to his partner, happy that he wasn't alone here. He didn't know how he appeared out of that weird circle, but he didn't care right now and all he cared about was getting the Hades out of here and finding New York.
'Boss wassup?' Blackjack greeted standing next to him.
Percy quickly got on the donut loving Pegasus and they ascended to the air. Berserker only growled at the Pegasus registering him as a threat. Just as they were about to run away a voice called out.
"Berserker, by the power of my command seal release your mad enhancement and use your bow" Percy looked in the direction of the voice and saw it to be the crazy cute girl who's the cause of his current problems right now.
'Of course, it can't ever have been this easy' Percy sighed exasperated seeing that this girl was making his life harder.
He realized that she had red markings spread across her body like a disease and he saw Berserker pull out the large bow from his back which was easily as tall as his body and was seemingly...made of wood?
When he drew back the string a large arrow appeared, glowing with a dark black color. Next thing he knew the arrow was released
WHOOSH
The arrow just barely missed its mark as Blackjack swiftly dodged it. Percy felt sweat roll down his chin at how close he was to losing the battle.
'Boss, if we get out of this, you're buying me two dozen donuts' Blackjack said, not happy that he almost died.
"If we get out of this alive, I'll buy you the entire store!" Percy replied
Blackjack somehow grinned which only looked weird on his face, because a smiling horse was equally as terrifying.
"Would you happen to be the Greatest Hero of the Trojan War, Achilles?"
A new voice questioned. Percy turned towards the voice and saw it to be the mad man that was attacking him a few minutes ago.
'I am so confused; he was just a mad man a minute ago and now he's sane again? Maybe it has to do with the red markings that appeared on the girl's body?'
Percy didn't know what brought the man to this conclusion since Achilles is dead and has been for many years now which made him even more suspicious of the man before him.
"No, I'm Percy Jackson, who are you?" Percy asked the bowman.
"I am… Heracles the greatest hero of Greece" he stated proudly nodding his head.
Percy didn't believe it for a second. Heracles was guarding the gates of Olympus and there is no way he would be in Japan of all places. Although the man did have godly strength perhaps, he's a descendant of the God of Strength?
Percy didn't speak his thoughts out loud though as he realized that he suddenly felt very weak even though he should have enough energy to go on for a lot longer.
"I see you are running out of mana, it's quite taxing for a servant to fight another servant and not have a master to supply you with the mana necessary. You summoning that cool Pegasus probably took the rest out of you" she explained to him.
He didn't know why but he had a deep feeling in his gut that she was right, now thinking about it when he 'summoned' Blackjack he felt something drain away from him but he couldn't pinpoint what exactly it was.
She pouted again "See if you and that cool Pegasus would just join me you wouldn't be in this situation I have plenty of mana to keep your friend there manifested like forever and ever!" she exclaimed, waving her hands around like a child.
"Master, I don't think he wants to join us," the supposed Heracles said to the girl. The girl glared at him.
"I don't want to hear that from a hulking brute like you" she responded to him crossing her arms and looking the other way.
The Archer just looked at his master exasperated "You know I hate that word hulking; I prefer the word well-built" the man said flexing his body as if to impress someone.
"Hulking, hulking, hulking" Ilya spouted out childishly then stuck out her tongue. Percy looked between the two and him and Blackjack exchanged looks of confusion.
"Let's get out of here while we still can" Percy whispered to his Pegasus.
'Agreed boss!" Blackjack started moving past the two when 5 glowing arrows shot near him cutting off strands of hair.
"Where do you think you're going?" the Archer said, hands on his hips like how a parent would scold a child when they are about to leave the room. Although the situation was different as this was a matter of life and death and Percy preferred life.
"I have a date to be too and you know how women are right? You can't be late for things like that or they will throw a fit!"
The archer laughed at his statement. "Don't worry, I understand, throughout my years of life I have realized to never keep a woman waiting. Although my master has politely requested that you do not leave," his voice took on a dangerous edge at the end.
Percy gulped realizing that his excuse was not going to work here but then a thought came to his mind. Reaching into his pocket he pulled out his pen and uncapped Riptide which lit up.
"Blackjack when I give you the keyword 'eat my pants' you fly away as fast as possible okay?"
Blackjack nodded and Percy got ready.
"EAT MY PANTS"
Throwing Riptide like a javelin it flew towards the pair of master and servant breaking the sound barrier with the strength behind it. Heracles in a surprising show of archery rapidly fired 9 overlapping arrows at the same time completely stopping the attack from reaching. Before the archer could attack Percy and his stead they were already gone.
"Running away in the middle of a fight. Such foolishness" was all Heracles said as he went back to his spiritual form.
LINE BREAK
Percy did not like being so high into the sky and flying at such high speeds. He was a son of Poseidon and as such he did not enjoy being in the sky at all especially extremely high up. Constantly he was checking to make sure that Zeus wasn't trying to strike him down.
'Uh boss, I'm not feeling too well' Blackjack said and the next thing he knew Blackjack disintegrated into blue particles leaving Percy falling from the sky weak and out of energy.
But luckily the gods decided to give him a break and he fell into the ocean. Since he's a son of Poseidon no matter what height he drops from inside the ocean it won't hurt and will only energize him. Percy felt the cool water and all the injuries and soreness he felt dissipated leaving him feeling better than ever.
'Now, I have to find where I'm at great."
A/N: And that's it! That took a lot out of me and I would appreciate it if you would leave reviews on what you think. Next chapter Percy meets Caren.
