"Blackjack!" Percy exclaimed, walking towards the awaiting Pegasus.
Archer who was expecting anything but that looked terribly befuddled. One of the things he remembered from long ago was the servant rider aka Medusa using a Pegasus named Bellephron. But this was not the gorgon and was instead a man not much older than his own master.
Also, since he has a mount that must mean he's a rider.
Could there have been a change, if so why and how?
"W-What? Is that a Pegasus? How is that possible, you would need to be a hero of great renown to have owned one. And did that Pegasus just speak?" Rin said frantically.
"I have no idea, master. But whatever the case I can still take it on." Archer told his master with confidence he wasn't sure he could back up.
What exactly do you use against a Pegasus? Humans were one thing, but a phantasmal beast was another.
He watched as the servant of the mount stroked the Pegasus' soft fur.
"I had to say Blackjack. I missed you. But we'll talk later, we have enemies to face right now." he promised and jumped on its back.
So, its name is Blackjack. I don't recognize any creature even resembling the name Blackjack. Perhaps it's a nickname?
"If you say so boss."
Blackjack then spread its wings and took to the clouds and out of view. Archer with his clairvoyance and Hawkeyes could spot them high above. They then started rising down at rapid speeds, gaining a black aura to them.
Archer noticed this held a handout to his master. "Stand back master, I'll snipe him down."
Luckily his master realized the threat and backed down and away from view, leaving all his attention to the servant of the mount.
"Trace On." he chanted and his iconic black bow along with special mana infused arrows that should do over B-rank damage.
He shot all four of his arrows at once at the pair who realized the threat and swiftly swerved to the side with uncanny speed. Rider then cut down any remaining arrows that were left over without a problem.
"The Pegasus is fast. Faster than I thought he would be." Archer had no more time to observe as a streak of black was rapidly coming towards him. He reinforced his legs to its limit and dodged to the side, narrowly avoiding it.
However, he felt a tiny trickle of blood and inspected his chest to find a shallow cut.
I dodged the attack so how am I taking damage?
Whatever the case he would have to start tracing some of his stronger weaponry. Luckily, his master had more than enough mana that he could probably even hold up Unlimited Blade works for an entire ten minutes.
"Master, are you ready to back down or keep fighting?" Archer said although he already knew the answer.
"Absolutely not Archer! You know this is a good chance to take down a powerful servant before Shirou does." she said confidently. "Plus, we already retreated once, I don't think I can handle another one."
He sighed. "Okay then I'll see this through to the end."
"Trace On."
A weapon manifested into his awaiting hand. It was a midnight black weapon with a few small edges coiling around the thin core, spiraling and it and somewhat curving outward.
Its name is Hrunting, the sword used by the hero Beowulf to slay Grendel. He however, modified the weapon so it suited him better and was instead a broken phantasm that he could put into his bow.
"This should do the trick." Archer said with full confidence.
"HRUNTING!" shooting the bow which shot at Mach 10 it zoomed towards its prey who just barely managed to dodge it only for it to turn around unnaturally and seek its opponent once again.
In the sky all one could see was two blurs of black and red constantly dancing around each other.
Archer. Since when did you have such a powerful weapon? And why did you not use against Berserker?
He mentally sighed. He forgot he hadn't told her about his projection magic. His memories were still vague, he hadn't lied about that but anything except a few key events were coming to a blank for him.
Instead of giving her an answer he instead just watched the Pegasus in the sky. Questioning could come later but killing could not.

Percy grunted as he steered Blackjack away from the strange glowing projectile that was insistent on chasing them.
It was also quite fast and had even managed to get a solid cut on his friend's cheek, which wouldn't slow him down of course, but could be a hindrance later. Out of everybody he had ever faced, Archer was easily the most versatile.
He had a wide variety of weapons that even he didn't recognize and could somehow use swords with a decent amount of proficiency. Every time they clashed it made Percy even more interested to know who he was.
'Are you okay?' his master asked, sounding surprisingly weak.
"Uh, ask me again in four minutes, kinda busy here with this stupid damn sword!"
He didn't know if she said anything else as he was too busy focusing all his attention on the projectile that was too fast. He didn't miss how weak she sounded and would have to confront her later about it.
But most likely it was because he was running dry of mana and would sooner or later crash and burn. He wasn't scared of death of course, he'd looked at death straight in the eye with no fear before but if he was dying anywhere it would be with his friends and family, not here.
Which meant he had to end this quickly. The sooner he finished, the faster he could go to his master.
'Blackjack." Percy said telepathically. 'We are going to end this."
"Sure, thing boss." Blackjack agreed easily.
"Okay then I need you to charge straight at the red beamy thing for me." Percy said with a straight face.
Blackjack spluttered. "W-What boss are you trying to kill me?"
"No." Percy said with false confidence. "I have a plan and I'm going to gamble everything on one strike."
"Fine if you say so." the Pegasus said reluctantly.
Percy then steeled himself, Riptide ready as they charged the fastest, they could go, making even Percy dizzy.
The projectile was all too willing to meet them head on, creating a large spark between the two attacks.
"C'mon, buddy you can do this. You know what screw it, if you win this fight, I'll get you as many donuts as you want."
He had a feeling he would eat those words later, but surviving was more important right now. He wasn't a hundred percent sure if his Achilles curse would negate all the damage but even if he did that left Blackjack vulnerable.
Percy could see cracks start to form on the blade. He then with all his strength swiped downwards and completely broke the weapon.
Archer stood there in total befuddlement. Sure people had avoided Hrunting, it wasn't that hard once you knew a trick on how to avoid it like teleport far away or use magecraft to temporarily stop it but to completely destroy an A-rank sword was a different story.
It seemed not only was his opponent terrifying, but his mount also was boasting about A+ power. At this rate they would have to retreat and regroup and maybe with the assistance of Saber and her master the results would be different.
He relayed the idea to Rin, who to no surprise refused to back down.
Perhaps that's what made her a good master?
Whatever the case, he would have to reevaluate his opponent who he still didn't know the identity of. Hell, he didn't even know who Rider's master was, but chances were, they were in the church.
Percy then safely landed on the ground with his mount dispelling right after he got off. Glowing sword at the ready.
"Still want to fight?" Percy questioned.
Truthfully, he wanted the Archer to say no so he could tend to his master. For all he knew, she could be in danger.
Archer had his twin swords at the ready. "Tired already?"
It was a clear taunt and if he was a rasher person or a child of Ares it might have worked. However, if anyone knew patience it was him. It was on the nonexistent job description that came with being a demigod.
"Not even close." he lied.
Percy switched Riptide to his other hand. He may need to use his waterpower's to eliminate this servant.
Percy lunged and thrust his sword at the white-haired man who parried the attack. Percy was not deterred and continued his assault relentlessly putting Archer on the ropes.
It was clear to everyone watching that Percy was the swiftest and more agile. Archer on the other hand relied more on careful and precise attacks like every action could cost him his life which it could. Their weapons clashed against each other in gold and black and white sparks erupting from their weapons.
The fight was in the demigod son of Poseidon's favor. With Riptide he did a powerful upward slash and delivered a sidekick to his opponent.
Archer flipped back from the impact but remained balanced. He readied himself for more of Percy's powerful strikes as the person in question rushed forth and leaped high in the air, only to come crashing down onto Archer sending him cratering back.
The servant recovered quickly and was already on his feet. Archer this time took the charge and lunged at the demigod who easily managed to block and parry any and all moves that came at him like he was born to do it. Percy then struck under his opponent's guard with an elbow making him cough up blood before spinning around and kicking him.
Percy through it all barely looked winded.
'Archer are you okay?' Rin asked, concerned.
Archer shakily got up. 'Yeah. But I don't think I can beat him at this rate. Not in this small secluded area.'
There were already large craters from their clashes, and it was really a miracle that the priest didn't stop them by now. Archer remembered the priest, Kirei Kotomine a little but what he couldn't remember was whether he was good or not.
Either way, he never came and was supposedly never going to come and was simply going to let this play out. It was no secret that the other masters were watching the fight from afar or with familiars.
At the rate this fight was going, he was going to have to use his Noble Phantasm to even survive.
Before he could think to do anything else a burst of wind suddenly blasted towards the servant of the mount who managed to leap just in time.
Archer looked towards the attacker. Saber or Arturia Pendragon herself along with her master Shirou Emiya.
A part of him felt the urge to suddenly trace a weapon and 'accidently' strike his past self. He luckily managed to push that down. Saber was with him anyways and with his wounds he would easily be killed.
Shirou and her servant then walked up to him.
"Who's this guy?" Shirou questioned.
Hell, if I know.
"Don't know. But he's the rider class servant." Archer said.
"I shall take it from here." Saber said standing in his place. For all intents and purposes, looking very knightly with her invisible sword in hand and her head held up high.
Archer nodded. He was sure she would be able to defeat this servant. Her stats even under a trash master like Shirou, still held B-rank in almost every area and was still a high-ranking servant.
"Careful with him. He's a very strong opponent and is easily A-rank in most categories." he warned her.
"I understand." she said. "I'll proceed with caution then."
"I am Saber. Prepare yourself!"
Saber then dashed forward, using mana burst and was right next to Rider before Archer could even blink, swinging her invisible sword.
Rider twisted the sword and narrowly managed to dodge it but was pushed back from the force of the blow. He then backed up before charging forward and the two met in a spark of blue clashing together.
The weirdest thing happened when Saber's invisible sword got past the rider's defense. When she tried slicing at his chest her blade just bounced off harmlessly like it was rubber.
Saber's eyes widened. She was sure her attack had connected and even felt the impact however it just wasn't effective for some reason. His bronze armor couldn't have been the case as she'd struck at one of its openings left near the chest and yet it did nothing.
She regarded her opponent for a second. "What was that?"
Rider only laughed. "Family secret."
"I see." Saber said, even though she didn't really understand. "You are certainly a very skilled warrior. Much praise to you."
Rider's green eyes glinted. "I can say the same. You're certainly better than most of the opponents I've ever faced."
"I accept your praises gratefully Rider." she said smiling "Unfortunately, I must end this with much haste."
"I understand." he said, readying himself again.
Saber decided to try a different strategy this time to defeat the foe in front of her.
"Invisible Air! Hammer of the Wind King!" she held out her invisible sword to her opponent and channeled large amounts of wind into one point. It then rushed out with a force comparable to a small tornado.
Rider didn't look panicked however and instead crossed his arms preparing for the attack. It slammed into him, easily sending him flying into multiple trees before landing.
Saber panted. Her master was… not very gifted when it came to being a mage which was why she wasn't at full strength. Plus, her fight with Berserker took quite the toll on her and took a lot of mana even from a mana battery like herself.
In fact, he himself was probably on par with the not so mad servant and even gave off an aura of divinity to her.
It made her wonder if he was a demigod and if so, of what type?
She had already fought Cu Chulainn, who was Lugh's son so it wasn't much of a stretch for there to be another servant with divinity.
Problem was that she had absolutely no clue who Rider could be. His outfit and sword hinted at Greek but everything after that, nothing.
If he was from Greece, he was most likely a demigod of high renown. Their kin were known to be some of the strongest servants in the world like Heracles and Achilles.
She put the thought away for now. Her opponent was most certainly not dead and was probably on his way back now.
Suddenly, the earth around them shook, almost knocking her off her feet. She stabbed her sword into the ground to right herself.
"Is this an earthquake!? she said in shock.
Archer, who was barely standing up, answered her. "Impossible. Earthquakes have not happened in Japan for years. It wouldn't just start so suddenly and it's too convenient. This is the work of a Noble Phantasm for sure."
Suddenly, a fist was in her gut before she could even blink sending her rocketing back and tumbling down the stairs.
"Damn it. My armor is useless now." Percy said disappointed. He looked no worse for wear except all his armor was removed leaving him in casual clothes.
"How is he…" Shirou said in shock and Saber couldn't help but agree. Inspecting her armor, it now held a fist sized gash on the metal plates.
"He's the cause of the earthquake." Archer stated.
"Guilty." Rider chuckled.
"What even is he?!" Rin questioned in disbelief. "First it's a Pegasus and now it's this?!"
"A Pegasus." Saber and Shirou repeated at the same time.
Rin nodded. "Yeah, he owns a Pegasus he called 'Blackjack'."
Saber processed the information and came up with a blank. The grail did not provide her with any information on a steed by the name of 'Blackjack'.
"I see not of anyone by the name of Blackjack." Saber said looking at Rin. "Are you sure that is what he said?"
"Yes, I'm positive that's what he said!" Rin said.
"I see."
This would be harder than she thought. Not only could he generate earthquakes but also had a powerful mount.
The odds of beating the supposed Grecian hero were getting slimmer. But she would not quit. Not yet, she had her wish that she still sought after, and nothing would stop her from gaining it.
The fourth was a failure and she was determined to make the fifth a failure for her.

Powerful.
That was one word to describe the opponent who Percy was now facing. From the get-go just by clashing with her shook his arms to the core and threatened to break them.
For a petite girl she really could strike fast and hard.
Her invisible sword was not helping either. He couldn't see the attack, but his instincts seemed to tell him when he needed to dodge and by how much degrees he should dodge. Though, her sword was so unpredictable that one attack managed to scratch him, though it bounced off luckily.
The odds weren't looking very good for him though. He was currently cornered two versus one and sooner or later they would figure out his weak spot.
Luckily, when she blew him back with that wind attack, he landed in a river, refilling his mana almost completely. Since it wasn't pure salt water it didn't do its job completely and only refilled it halfway.
Still plenty to use his Earthshaker powers though.
Slamming his fist into the ground he channeled its power into the earth and felt a familiar tugging his gut. It wasn't often he used it and usually used only water as it was the least dangerous of all of his powers.
The ground started shaking rapidly and cracks started to appear signaling its success. He used only a focused amount to not destroy all of Fuyuki in one blow.
In his current situation anyway, if he used a full power one he would most certainly die along with Caren.
He then walked back up the hill where his opponents lied with a confident face, ready to fight again.
Now he would fight at her with his full strength and would not underestimate her again or go soft.
Even if she looked a little like Annabeth.
'Percy!' he heard his master due to their telepathic connection.
'What's up?' he asked.
'I've been calling you for five minutes now. I'm in the church with the supervisor of the grail right now.' she said that with an odd amount of disdain. Luckily, she didn't sound so strained anymore.
That was good for her.
'I'm fine. When Saber blew me back with her wind I landed in a small river and managed to gain most of my mana back.'
He could hear her sigh in relief. 'Good, now we have a better chance at winning this two versus one.'
'They are definitely allied together. I figured Shirou and Rin were together, but I didn't think they were both in on this. Archer by himself is a threat but add in Saber and we're squished together like a sandwich.'
'Do you think you can win?'
Percy smirked. 'I've been at worse odds before.'
'Anyway, how are you doing, your voice sounded weak before?' he said, worried.
'I wasn't before I was in constant agony but I'm fine now since you got your mana back.' she said bluntly.
'Okay then, are you done with your chat with that priest?' he questioned.
He could almost see a sour face on her face. 'I'm in front of him right now. I still suspect he's up to something, but I have no proof.'
Percy didn't know much about priest stuff, so he didn't comment on it.
'Anyway, you must focus on your battle. Win this for us Percy.'
'Got it.'
Caren cut the mental connection leaving him alone.
Percy readied himself to attack his opponent again. Hopefully this would be the last clash.
Saber was also closely holding onto her sword and was probably preparing another one of those wind attacks.
Before they could strike his body went rigid. In fact, so had Saber who was also struggling to move.
Not a single iota of his body agreed to move, and he couldn't even use his noble phantasms. Saber seemed to be in the same boat and could not do anything either.
"W-what's wrong Saber?" Shirou asked, seeing her suddenly stop.
"For some reason I cannot move my body." she said.
"Same here."
"Well that's good that he can't move. Archer attack him!" Rin ordered.
"..."
"Archer, this is the perfect opportunity to defeat a strong heroic spirit, I'm in no mood for your witty remarks."
"..."
"Archer-"
"MASTER, I can't move!" Archer said frantically.
Rin turned towards her servant and indeed saw him frozen like everyone else.
"W-What?!"
"Halt." a feminine voice said from the steps.
They all turned towards the voice. It was a woman with blue eyes and long purple hair. She also held a large staff that was shaped like a cross.
To Percy she was one of the beautiful girls he'd ever seen (Besides Annabeth.) and gave off an aura of innocence.
Everyone else seemed stunned by her appearance and she gave off the feeling of a saint. A very powerful saint who was angered at the battle going on outside a church.
"Greetings all." she said casually strolling towards them. "I am the ruler class servant of this Holy Grail War. My name is Saint Martha. Pleasure to meet you all."
AN: And that's it. Took almost an entire week just to think of this much so I would appreciate it if you showed me some support with this.
I was considering whether or not to add the Ruler class servant and decided to do it since let's be honest, UBW and heavens feel is all about breaking the rules. Now I know what some of you are thinking; "Ruler class servants cannot be summoned becuz of Angra Mainyu corrupting the grail" and all that.
My answer to that is… I don't have an answer xD. Just roll with it.
If your asking if I'm going to be adding more servants… eh who knows. Its my fanfic so I can kinda do what I please.
Also if your wondering if this story is going on hiatus the answer is no. I'm aiming to become the first Pj x Fate story which has more than 100k so we're at least getting there. And we're only on 24k words so… we have so much to cover lol.
Lastly, I know I'm so bad with fight scenes you can go ahead and roast me about how ya'll can write leagues ahead of me.
Anyways, until next time.
