"I am Saint Martha, the Ruler class servant summoned her in Fuyuki for the Fifth Great Holy War." she stated in a calm posture.

Everybody looked confused, namely Rin who was the magical genius out of all of them and was more familiar with how the grail operated.

"Ruler class servant? That's impossible, everyone knows that there are only seven classes and that there are now exceptions!" Rin said as she stomped her foot against the ground.

Martha was unfazed by her temper tantrum. "Anything is possible in this world. You should know this Rin Tohsaka, as a practitioner of magic yourself. I am a saint; I do not fight unless I have to and when I do fight it's with god's intent."

"That staff of yours says otherwise." Archer said.

"This was given to me by god himself as his most trusted devotee."

If Rin heard him, she didn't respond. "Okay so, if you're not here to fight, what are you here for? I doubt you would be here just to check up on us."

"I plan to do exactly as my class says, 'Rule over the servants' and make sure nobody is cheating their way to winning." Ruler replied.

Percy jumped in their conversation. "But Isn't that the job of the priest who lives here?"

"It was. But unforeseen circumstances have happened and so, the grail has opted me to take his place."

"Take his place? What nonsense are you spouting out Ruler?" Saber exclaimed.

"I cannot say much but what I can say is that Kirei Kotomine's wishes do not follow the will of the true grail." Ruler said.

It made no sense to the demigod son of Poseidon. Why would an entire class be summoned specifically to take care of one problem? Just how big could it be? Contacting Caren through their telepathic link seemed to end in failure meaning she was either held up or… was not conscious to respond.

If that was the case, he would have to take action. His mana supply was practically gone but his will was still going strong.

"So, you were summoned here to take the place of that fake priest and mediate the rest of the war?" Rin questioned, crossing her arms.

"Well yes, that is one of the reasons." Ruler confirmed before she looked at him. "The other reason I'm here is because of you, Rider."

The spotlight had now shifted to him like many other times and he started to feel uncomfortable under the questioning gazes. The only thing he could surmise was that the grail figured out he was not from this world and belonged to another which was both good and bad. Good because Ruler could possibly know a method for him to get home that didn't involve winning the grail but bad in the sense that he would be feeding his master to the wolves.

"What about me?!" Percy asked warily.

"You can play coy all you like but we both know that you don't 'belong here' like the other servants."

"Doesn't belong here?" Shirou scratched his head in confusion. "I don't get how he's any different from anyone else."

"He is a special case whereas unlike other heroes he is not 'dead' in a sense like all the other heroes. The reason for this is still unknown however." she explained.

She just confirmed his own suspicions of him not being dead but that opened up many other questions like why he was brought here. The girl that was in the swamp was his only lead and he hadn't met her again.

"But that's Impossible!" Saber spoke up, surprising the group. "It's impossible to become a servant unless…" she gave him a hard look that made Percy want to flinch.

Archer muttered something incorrigible that he couldn't hear. Though he could have sworn he heard the words 'Counter'.

Percy asked the million-dollar question. "So, what's gonna happen? Are you going to try and attack me or are we going to just put this all behind us and maybe talk it out?"

While he was confident he could at least hold his own, her abilities were still very much a mystery.

"No. I'm simply going to observe you and not engage you. But should you on the off chance, be the last to be standing, I shall strike you." It was obvious to everyone, even Shirou, that she was dead serious.

She then spun on her heel and headed towards the church.

Saber and Archer instantly tried to attack her but found themselves frozen before they could make it another step. Percy too could feel the power forcing him to submit and he suddenly felt like a dog on a leash.

"W-Why can I not move!" Saber said. She kept shifting in place but to no avail.

"I think I get it now. The Ruler Class servant was created for the specific purpose of meditating the grail and is reserved only for the purest of hearts and you must not desire the grail."

"That still does not answer why I cannot move!" Saber glared at Archer.

"I was getting there Saber, the Ruler class possess command seals for each set of servants and that must be why we cannot attack, am I right, Ruler?" they all shifted their eyes to Martha to confirm his statement.

If Saint Martha was surprised, she didn't show it. You are Correct, Archer I didn't expect you to be so sharp. As a saint sent by god it is my duty to purge all the evil in the world and this town simply reeks of it." for a brief moment a scowl marred her features before it disappeared as quickly as it came.

"Until next time, fellow servants. Also, Perseus Jackson, I would suggest to not get comfortable as circumstances may change depending on what you do. May god guide you towards the light." she then left the scene leaving them to process this new information.

Percy on the outside was calm and looked unfazed but on the inside his mind was scrambled. 'That's impossible! She shouldn't know my name since I'm from another world and I'm positive I've never encountered her before in my life.'

Whatever the case it was irrelevant right now. Everybody here now knew his true name and he still hadn't figured out anything about the two less so about Archer. With Saber he could identify her as a knight who believed heavily in chivalry and possibly some famous figure. He couldn't tell for sure though as he was not very big on history that wasn't related to Greek.

If Annabeth was here, he was sure she would have deduced their identity with a glance.

Once Ruler had entered the church the command seal weared off and they could finally move again.

"Finally." Percy said.

"We're leaving Emiya, we've learned enough information about our enemy's for today. See you at school, Rider." Rin gave him a smirk and walked down the church stairs, Shirou following suit.

However, Archer stayed behind and the two met eyes. Archer's steel eyes carefully examined him as if he was an experiment gone wild. Eventually, he left the stare contest and departed into spirit form.

Percy now focused his attention on the church where his master and Ruler currently resided. He needed to figure out what happened to Caren as she was unresponsive. Before he could get very far a stream of wind shot towards him, forcing him to sidestep it.

He turned towards Saber annoyed.

"Why are you stopping me Saber?" Percy questioned.

"Where do you think you're going." Saber said, fixing her eyes on him.

"The laundromat is that not obvious? I have a lot of chores to be doing and I'm kinda running short on time." Percy said casually.

"Do not mock me, Rider. Why were you heading in the direction of the church when Ruler is in there? Especially when she's out to kill you." Saber questioned.

Percy sighed and contemplated what to tell her. While he was sure he could get away from her if need be, she seemed to be the stubborn type and probably wouldn't give up on finding him again. Plus, she was extremely strong and if possible, he did not want to confront her again.

"Are you going to snitch if I tell you?" Percy asked.

Saber's eyebrow furrowed. "Snitch? I do not understand what that term means."

"Sorry, forgot you're from the past. In short terms, are you going to tell Rin and your master if I tell you?"

"I cannot keep secrets from my master." Saber stated.

He figured with her whole knight personality she would not be able to lie to her comrades and while that was honorable now was not the time.

"Then why should I trust you if you're just going to tell your master everything I say?" he questioned.

"My honor prohibits me from lying to my master." she turned around and walked to catch up with her master.

"Damn stubborn girls." he glanced at her disappearing figure before turning towards the church and dashing towards it.

Surprisingly, nothing made its way towards him and he was able to freely open up the door and was greeted to the sight of… darkness. Seriously, the building was dark and gave off a gloomy atmosphere which was the opposite of what a church should entitle.

Still, he made his way through the rows of seats and looked to the altar where priests usually preached about gods and his many deeds. There was nothing much of importance there getting a scoff from the demigod. One thing he noticed about this church was that it was quiet. Too quiet in fact, that he could hear his footsteps creak against the wooden floorboard.

"Where could she be?" he wondered to himself. He checked all the rooms that he could find and yet he found nothing of use. It made no sense since Ruler was here, and he doubted she finished whatever it was she was doing. This only meant he had to search more, and find out

"What do we have here, a mongrel trying to steal from a church, that's a new one." a voice said.

He whirled around and spotted the very same man he encountered a few days ago. The one who called him 'fish'. He was dressed in his usual biker outfit and the red-slitted eyes were still analyzing him as if he was an experiment. Except something felt different to him, he couldn't pinpoint what it was, but the blond felt… familiar to him and yet different.

It reminded him too much of Kronos for his liking.

"Well, are you going to gawk at my presence forever, or what? I have not all day, you know." he spoke.

The voice brought him back to his thoughts. "Who are you?"

"A king." he stated, before smirking. "Now it's my turn to ask questions. What are you doing, in my partner's church? Don't you know you can be arrested for trespassing holy grounds?"

"I need to speak to the priest here. I have business with him." Percy said with a serious tone. There was not time for games, and he could tell the man was playing with him.

"Business with Kotomine, I see." he pointed towards a doorway he didn't know was there. "He went down with a white-haired girl and a blue-haired girl."

"Thanks." Percy started walking towards the door.

"But I would advise you to approach with caution, demigod or else you'll fall like the rest of your kin." Percy whirled around so fast he was surprised he didn't get whiplash. Except the man was gone and all he could see was darkness.

Percy was shocked by this. 'This is impossible! How did he figure out that I'm a demigod so easily? Do I have a sign on my head that reads all my information? Okay calm down Percy, he can't use that information for anything so I'm good.'

He opened up the door to the secret entrance and was greeted to a spiral staircase that led downwards where it was once again; dark as Hades. He pulled out Riptide and used its bright light to his advantage as a light source. However, this was not the only reason he pulled it out as he heeded the blonde's words in proceeding with caution.

As he arrived at what he presumed to be the basement he could spot, three figures all standing at the end of a red carpet, one of them being his unconscious master who was being carried by Kirei while Ruler stood at the other end, spear held threateningly.

He held back the urge to charge at them and grab Caren. He needed to get information that was possibly valuable in the future and his master wouldn't forgive him if he came back as empty-handed as he already was.

So, he listened.

"The Grail has recognized you as a threat and has decided that you must be eliminated, Kirei Kotomine. Your spawn must also die on the off chance that she does become a threat just like you." Ruler said.

'What does she mean by spawn? Surely, she doesn't mean child because they look nothing alike! Though, maybe she got her genes from her mother.' Percy thought, absorbing the information given to him.

"I do not understand what you are talking about Saint Martha." he said with an innocent smile that looked as hollow as his eyes. "I am just the supervisor charged by the church to govern the Grail and that's what I have done."

"Nonsense! I have felt the aura of death that surrounds this mansion and I know you are hiding something or someone. Tell me and your death will be painless." she said, pointing the tip of her staff at him.

"Well, Martha I'm afraid I cannot do that." Kirei said with a smirk. He pulled out four black keys in a flash and held them between his fingers.

Percy saw that this was his chance to intervene. Dashing forth, sword at the ready he stood in the middle of them, surprising them.

"What are you doing here, Rider!" Ruler questioned.

Kirei looked surprised for just a moment before snapping out of it"I see, so you must be my daughter's servant, nice to meet you Rider."

"You know I would have liked to say, 'nice to meet you too my master's dad' but I would kind of be lying if I said so." Percy snarked.

Before Percy could say anything else, he had to dodge the sharp staff that aimed for his throat. He jumped back, furthering the distance between them.

"It's not very nice to ignore a girl when she's talking." Ruler said, flashing a smile.

"Damn, for a saint you sure can swing like a monster." Percy half complimented. He meant it too as he could feel her swings disrupt the wind around him which was a testimony to her power.

"Why are you interfering Rider when you know that you're one of my targets?" Ruler tilted her head.

"Oh, I was just in the neighborhood you know? My house is actually four blocks down from here so I chose the easy way there." Percy joked.

The joke seemed to fall flat to both as they simply stared at him in a deadpan.

"Okay seriously, Caren is my master and I kinda have to protect her." No matter how devilish she may be for making him go to school.

"There are plenty of masters out there that would gladly be your master so tell me why you would risk your life to protect her?" Ruler questioned.

"Always springing hard questions aren't you." he sighed. "I know this may sound a little cheesy, but she's my master and I've grown quite fond of her from my time with her." The words seemed to spill out of his mouth before he even realized what he said.

Instead of laughing at him like he expected Martha laughed loudly. This surprised both himself and Kirei as they hadn't expected the picture-perfect saint who maintained a careful mask to suddenly indulge herself in laughing.

"What's so funny?" Percy questioned. Nothing he said was with the intention to be funny and he meant every word he said.

"Sorry, I'm not mocking you or anything, it's just that nobody in all my times of living has ever spoken with such a true heart. It seems I've misjudged your character, my apologies. You may take your master if you so wish." Ruler said.

Strangely, Percy could detect no lie in what she was saying which was good because getting on the bad side of a servant who could command you was a bad idea.

"So… we're cool?"

Ruler laughed. "Yes, we are 'cool' as you say."

Percy looked at Kirei who was watching the exchange with an unreadable expression. Percy could see now how such a person could command a powerful servant such as Lancer.

"It seems we have all reached an agreement." Kirei said with no emotion. "Here take Caren, she's fine and is only unconscious."

Percy grabbed Caren as gently as he could and could see she was lighter than he expected, practically weighing nothing. Before he could leave, Kirei spoke.

"You're an interesting person, Rider. We'll be seeing each other again."

"Yeah sure."

Percy exited the church, carrying his master bridal style as they dashed back to the house. He didn't want to attract attention and so he hopped through the multiple rooftops that inhabited Japan, careful not to accidentally smash the house into pieces.

He met no problems on the way luckily and when they got inside, he settled her down on the bed and gently put the covers over her.

After giving her one last glance, he closed the door and went onto the couch where he immediately passed out.

AN: FINALLY, I'm done xD.

This took literally from July 19th I think to August 13th and even still I'm not that satisfied with this chapter and that's why Fire Still Burns came before this. Of course, I'll try my best to keep it more consistent but no promises!

Halo- Yeah, that should be interesting I already have it kind of played out. Though, let's just say that when Medusa pops up again she'll have more energy to use.

D- Thanks man, I really appreciate it. I know the first few chapters were a jumble and admitally even now they still are but I'm trying to make it as best as possible but it's certainly hard since I'm not following none of the routes but at the same time combining them into something interesting.

Guest- Yes, I'm actually planning on shifting to Camp Half-Blood's perspective soon.

Binaryrecord274- I thought about that, not gonna lie but I ended up scraping that idea since for one, I haven't seen Kane Chronicles and I don't trust myself to really put something out that's false and secondly, If I ever make a caster Percy (Maybe Apocrypha xD?) that would probably be it but who knows.

Reviewer- Maybe.

So yeah, that's all the reviews, thank you all for the positive comments it really means alot to me. Especially since my main story, (Visit my profile if you want to see) hit 1k followers recently and not just on any day but my birthday which was great to see.

Anyways enough rambling I'll see you guys later.
