I don't own the Tudors.

Prologue

Princess Bertha is the daughter of King Henry VII of England and his wife Elizabeth of York. She was born lucky.

She was supposed to be dead until a miracle given by a woman of Arabic heritage had saved the princess's life.

The Arabic woman announced that her name was Aaliyah who later, became the woman and mother figure to the young princess her entire life. Despite the differences in Islam beliefs, the queen and king announced that she has that right to her religious practices.

Princess Bertha was a bright and energetic child.

One laughter and smile from the princess was the cause for everyone in her family and the court to smile.

However, like all princesses, she must marry for duty.

Her father, King Henry VII, had made her contract for her marriage.

It is with the King of Denmark, Christian IV. She will be away once Arthur weds Catherine of Aragon as he is finishing Margaret to James of Scotland.

Since their children are connected to their family, Spain, Scotland, and Denmark will be united more vital.

Bertha studies and learns the language Danish, literature, and their history if she is to understand their lands. Bertha had gotten her things and her dowry ready to be escorted by Danish to Denmark.

It would be years before she ever returned to court until the great war happened to her husband, and she fled back to England with her children at her side.

Her presence had truly challenged the court and history as she was known as the Queen of Greens.
