Blackwing woke up to see Bunnystep standing over him.
"Blackwing? I heard this strange sound near the Highrocks." Bunnystep said.
"What sound?" Blackwing asked standing up and stretching out his wings and paws.
Bunnystep inhaled, "It was this weird, droning sound." She said, looking out the window in the direction of Highrocks.
A what? Blackwing thought to himself.
Him and Bunnystep were standing at the base of Highrocks. And he heard it, creaking and groaning, and clicking. He turned to Bunnystep, "What is that?" Bunnystep asked,
"It sounds like a, machine?" Blackwing answered, confused. He started to approach where the clicking was coming from, with Bunnystep following suite. He approached the entrance to a cave, the clicking was coming from inside.
"Would a 'machine' be in there?" Bunnystep asked. Blackwing said nothing and just walked in with Bunnystep once again following.
They walked for a while with the clicking and groaning getting louder, and louder, and louder. Eventually the cave opened to reveal that they were in a large stone pit. The ground was covered in sand and the walls were cold cobble, it all looked like something a Twoleg would make. And in the middle, a large ticking and groaning machine was sitting there. Blackwing approached it cautiously, then noticed something behind the machine. It was a mural, of a black cat with wings descending on a Twolegplace, with Twolegs looking like they were excited to see the black winged cat. Bunnystep stepped around and saw the mural to.
"What the- There was another one?" Bunnystep said in shock, "Wait this one has yellow eyes. I wonder..."
Blackwing looked up seeing a button in the cat's eye. He backed up and leaped up, pressing the button. And now the machine started to click faster and faster and the groans started to get faster, and a part of the wall slid down slowly and in steps. There was a deep hole what had a slant, "Come on, let's check it out." Blackwing said, walking into the opening.
