After walking for what felt like ages, Blackwing and Bunnystep reached the end of the tunnel and they were speechless.
It was a Twolegplace, but underground! Smoke was rising out of a section of it, while artificial suns lit up the Twolegplace. In the center a den stood tall about it all with glowing words stating "Amber". They turned around but heard sliding and a clunk, they were trapped down here. Blackwing started following an edge around the side of the wall and came across another button, of course he presses it and some whirring sound came from it.
Eventually a door slid open, and Blackwing entered it looking at more buttons and pressed the down button, with Bunnystep entering and the door closing. Then the whirring was back and there was a feeling of decent, and some strange sounds came from somewhere in the box.
The box stopped eventually and opened, revealing that they decended into the Twolegplace, and Blackwing could read the sign at the entrance.

The safest city underground!
"That's interesting. This place must be called Amber. I wonder why." Blackwing said.
"Maybe it was made to preserve something? Possibly Twoleg related?" Bunnystep commented, then a tall beast stood over them. It looked like a cat, but it was bigger and on their hind legs!
"I haven't seen a creature like you before..." The cat said, "What are you?"
"We are normal cats?" Blackwing said. The strange cat looked shocked at this.
"You have wings?! I thought the Owners were just crazy!" The strange cat said, "Follow me!" They said, walking off.
Blackwing and Bunnystep started following them and getting a lot of stares.
Eventually they arrived at a den. Similar to the ones in Twolegplace, but filthy. The strange cat opened a door and beckoned for them to come in, they walked in claws out as this was a strange cat they have never seen before. "I've been researching how to leave this crumbling place for years, but it's hard to find information when everyone is convinced that the outside was worse then down here." The strange cat explained, "But now that you came here from outside means that it's better out there, right?"
Blackwing nodded, "It's been great out there for as long as I lived, and that's been... 119 years!" He said.
The strange cat looked shocked, "I was right this whole time?" They said, then suddenly, "Oh, I should introduce myself. I'm Alice, a cat. This place has started to fall apart but no one knows or even cares, but I don't want to die down here so I've been looking for an escape." Alice explained, "Judging that you are here, you must know how you got here. Can you tell me what the way here was?" Alice asked.
"Well I pressed a button and a door opened, we walked down until we encountered an edge, then we followed it to an elevator and now we are down here." Blackwing explained their route.
"I hope there is enough power for it. The Generator has started producing less power and it's damn near impossible to cross over The Divider, the only place you can cross it is at Central Tower. But they locked the place down to keep the dogs out." Alice explained. "But right now, I'd say we get a little sleep. It's been hours already. You can sleep on my bed." Alice said walking to the comfortable looking bed and laid down. Blackwing and Bunnystep slept there to, it didn't take long.
