Back at Oswald's base, the group returned to see the rabbit waiting for them, along with Jasiri, who was humming a song to herself. "Sisi Ni Sawa means, "We're the same…"

"Though you've got your spots, and I have a mane," Gabriel finished. "Are you starting to remember things, Jasiri?"
"We've gotten through the first season of The Lion Guard," Oswald said. "So she's caught up to there."

"To think that the prince of the Pride Lands would be an ally of mine," Jasiri giggled.

"Oh, is something wrong with her?" Melanie asked.

Jasiri gasped and jumped behind the couch. "A ghost!?"

"Jasiri, this is one of our friends," Gabriel explained. "Don't worry, Melanie is a Happy Haunt, so she won't hurt you."

"Just don't ask about her father- that's a touchy subject," Adam added.

"Glad that you rescued another friend of yours," Oswald nodded.

"We've still got three more regions to clear before Hex is out of the picture, though," Gabriel shook his head. He went over to the map and hummed. "Oswald, what's the next best place to go to?"

"Probably California Adventure," the rabbit replied.

"I'll need some time to strategize for that," Gabriel said. "Will you help out, Rachel?"

"You can count on me," the sword mage said.

As the two of them got to making a plan, Logan showed off his new sword, which he quickly learned he could use to summon green fire for attacks. It also gave him his super strength, as long as it was on his person. That meant that even if the blade was sheathed, it would still give him his powers.

"This is awesome!" Logan smiled.

Destiny nodded, then went up behind him and gave the young man a hug. "So, about what you said in the ring…. Are we an official couple now?"

Logan blushed, but nervously nodded. "I wanted to ask for a while now, but I was embarrassed because of what the others would think."

"Why's that?" Silver asked.

"You know, because she's a whale shark and I'm a human," Logan explained. "And I like her true from a bit more than her human one."

"So? None of us have conventional love interests," Adam said. "I'm dating a ghost, and Gabriel's girl doesn't even have a human form!"

"Oh, the Dream Keeper has a special someone?" Jasiri's ears perked up. "What's she like? Is she safe?"

"Jasiri, Gabriel's girlfriend is-" Adam started to say, only for Logan to pull him aside quickly.

"We can't tell Jasiri about their relationship," Logan whispered.

Adam raised an eyebrow. "Why not?"

"Because it'll freak her out, that's why," Logan explained. "Think about it- Jasiri barely remembers anything about herself right now. If we tell her she's in a relationship, it might hinder her progress."

"It could also jog her memory," Melanie pointed out. "However, I get what you're saying, Logan. If anyone should reveal it, it should be Gabriel." The ghost turned back to Jasiri and smiled. "Gabriel's lover is a kind soul. She has a playful side, but she puts her people above herself and makes sire everyone is treated fairly. If someone is in trouble, the two of them can solve it."

Jasiri smiled warmly. "Sounds like someone I'd get along with."

"You have now idea," Silver shook his head, smiling a bit as well.

"Anyway, I'm ready to help you all out on missions," Melanie announced.

Adam coughed and took her hands. "Melanie, I don't think that's a good idea. Your father is free of Phantom Manor now, which means he probably will come up with a way to find where you are. Staying her with Oswald is the safest bet we have."

"I'm not the forlorn girl that mourned her future husband into the afterlife," Melanie crossed her arms. "If he comes after me, we can all face him, together."

"I know we can, but he has Hex on his side, that if they're on the same team, then that's trouble as well," Adam insisted. "Melanie, I promise, once Hex is finished, I'll make it up to you."

The ghost smiled and booped Adam on the nose. "Okay then, Adam Jackson. Once we're done, we should go on the greatest adventure ever: the adventure of love."

"You mean…?" Soren gasped.

Melanie giggled. "Yep, I finally want to take my wedding vows, for real this time! So, will you marry me?"

Adam scooped Melanie up and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "Of course I'll marry you! As long as we don't do it at your house. I'd rather not become a ceiling decoration, or worse."

"I'll help plan it!" Silver jumped it. "And Maximus will be head of security!"

"Allow me to help as well," Marian offered. "I have a few tips from Robin and I's wedding."

As they discussed the upcoming wedding, Soren went over to check on Gabriel and Rachel. The two of them had a map of California Adventure pulled up, pointing to various locations for their plan.

"So the iconic location is Grizzly Peak, obviously," Gabriel said. "And the three keys are in Avengers Campus, Cars Land, and Pixar Pier."

"I'll go with Logan to Pixar Pier," Rachel stated. "Destiny has friends there, and I get the feeling that I'll need to help keep Logan in check with sword training."

"And Adam would be best suited for adventuring in Cars Land," Gabriel said. "But should he go with Silver or Soren?"

"I'll go with Adam," Soren said. "If he's going to Cars Land, there's probably going to be a race of some kind, which means he'll need all the luck he can get. And my infinity-sided dice will help tip the odds in our favor."

"Good suggestion, Soren," Gabriel smiled, patting the Jaquin on the head. "That leaves myself and Silver to head to Avengers Campus. Spider-Man and his amazing friends should be able to help us out as well."

"Then it's decided," Oswald nodded. "The projector is ready when you are!"

Author's Notes

Jasiri is slowly getting her memories back, but she doesn't remember her relationship with Gabriel yet. Since Adam is a straightforward kind of guy, he'd want to tell her right away, but Logan and Melanie understand that Gabriel should be the one to drop that bombshell. Let's hope our Dream Keeper can get the courage to bring that up soon.

And while Melanie is staying behind to keep her out of The Phantom's reach, she's been promised a wedding with Adam now! And Logan is dating Destiny officially now, too!

I bet you didn't expect California Adventure for the next park, did you? Well since we've been staying in the USA parks for most of the Magical World adventure, I figured I should tip my hat to the west coast side as well. Besides, Star Wars got a big chapter, so Marvel should get one as well!
