"What do you mean the key is broken!?" Silver exclaimed, looking in shock at the fragments in his hand.

"I mean that Quill broke it when we found it," Rocket Raccoon stated. "Star-Lord thought it'd be a great idea to try and blast it out of the Ultron Drone's hand, but it just snapped the thing in two. Sorry."
"It's okay Rocket," Gabriel said. "We can just find someone else to fix it."

"Well, good luck with that," the raccoon said. "Magic ain't my expertise. I'm more the blow it up and rebuild it kinda guy."

"Thanks for the key, rabbit guy!" Sisu called, making Rocket groan as we left to go find the other Guardians.

Silver sighed. "What are we going to do now? Neither of us have the right magic to fix this thing. My paintbrush won't work, and neither will your Fantasia music." Maximus have a grunt and nodded his head. "Wait, you think so? Maximus says that we should ask the other heroes around here for help."

"That's a great idea," Gabriel said. "At least one of the Marvel heroes will have a solution."

And so our heroes went off to find someone that could fix the key. The started with Iron Man, as he was the smartest guy of the Avengers. Unfortunately, Tony's advanced tech couldn't wield the pieces back together, so they had to look elsewhere. Silver suggested Thor next, but the Asgardian's mighty hammer only managed to break the key into more pieces, much to his horror.

"We'll never get this fixed!" Silver said, comically crying on the floor as Maximus conforted him.

"Geez this is harder than I thought," Gabriel scratched his head.

"Hey Gabriel, what's up?" Sisu asked.

Gabriel looked to his companion in surprise. "Oh, did you go somewhere?"

"I met this really cool kung-fu guy and we had lunch together," Sisu explained. She put a finger to her face and hummed. "Although I get the funny feeling that I know him from somewhere, though we've never met before now."

"It's probably a multiversal thing, don't worry about it," Gabriel said.

"Oh, I know about those!" Deadpool said, suddenly popping up. "I have a conspiracy that Mace Windu and Nick Fury are secretly the same person. Think about it: have you ever seen them in the same place together? And Fury totally had a lightsaber in Winter Soldier!"

"Uh, who's this guy?" Sisu asked.

"Someone we shouldn't worry about," Gabriel sighed. He went over and grabbed Silver by the back of his shirt, dragging him off to the next hero they could ask for help.

Next they went to Ant Man and Wasp, thinking that they could use Pym Particles to shrink down and fix the key on a molecular level. This didn't work either, so the heroes went to the other bug-themed hero, Spider-Man. Using webs to stick the pieces back together may have worked for a little bit, but Gabriel could tell that the magic of the key still wasn't working properly.

"Sorry about that," Spider-Man said.

"It's fine. We've just exhausted most of our options here," Silver said.

"Not every option," Gabriel said. "We haven't talked to the doctor yet."

"You guys have key doctors?" Sisu asked.

Gabriel laughed. "He's not that kind of doctor. More of the magical kind."

Silver slapped his forehead. "Of course! Dr. Strange! We should have gone to him first!"

The duo quickly went over to Dr. Strange's Sanctum, where the Sorcerer Supreme was reading from a book while levitating. Sisu looked around at all of the magical objects, peering into doors that lead to other sanctums around the world.

"Greetings friends," Dr. Strange said, closing his book. "It's good to see one of my students return."

"Students?" Silver asked, confused.

"He means me," Gabriel explained. "As part of my training Yen Sid had me meet some of the other sorcerers around the Magical World, and Dr. Strange here was one of them. Although his brand of magic wasn't my best work."

"Everyone learns in a different way," Dr. Strange said. "Now then, what brings you all here?"

Maximus placed the key shards on a nearby table. "We have to fix this magic key so we can unlock a portal to free this land of Hex's influence," Silver explained.

"Luckily for us, my magic along with Stark's technology has kept those robots out of Avengers Campus," Strange said. He levitated the key pieces and hummed. "There are four pieces that we need to fix. The four of you will help me in the spell I must cast to do so." He created runes around the heroes. "These keys work by amplifying your dream power."

"Dream Power?" Silver questioned.

"That's the energy that the entire Magical World runs on," Gabriel explained. "Walt Disney made all of his characters from his own dreams and those of the people that he worked with. As long as there's hope and people keep dreaming, those wishes will be heard and keep the Magical World stable."

"Hex has used these keys to store that energy and lock it away," Strange continued. "To fix this key, the four of you must say aloud your biggest dream while I cast the spell."

The four heroes nodded, standing in a circle around Strange as they held hands. Maximus went first, with Silver translating for the horse. "Maximus' dream is to always be there for his friends and protect Rapunzel," Silver said.

"My dream is to live up to my family's expectations," Sisu said. "I want to master all of their powers and be the best dragon I can be."

"My dream is to make others happy," Gabriel said. "But deep down, my true dream is finding that happiness for myself. And with every new friend I make, and experience I share with others, I think I learn a little bit more about myself. "

The group looked to Silver for his answer. "My dream is to find someone that will love me for me. I'm not the regular type of guy: I like princesses, and dressing up, and I'm not the big hero in shining armor. But I also want to stand up for myself. I guess you could say my dream is to be someone that can stand on his own while also being supported by those that love him."

Gabriel and Sisu smiled. "You'll always have all of us Dream Keepers to support your dream, dude," the raven said.

Dr. Strange said the magic words, and in a flash the Dream Power of the four friends was combined to restore the key to its proper form. The Sorcerer Supreme handed the key over to Gabriel, with the raven thanking him for his help. "It was nothing," Strange said. "I wish you luck on your quest. I must get back to my studies: there's been many strange happenings in the multiverse lately that I will inevitably have to sort out."

"Wait, one last thing," Silver said. "Do you think you could help a friend of mine, Dr. Strange? He was recently turned into a frog and I kinda want him to, you not, not be a frog."

"Ah yes, I actually recently did turn someone back from a frog," Dr. Strange said.

Silver perked up. "Really?"

"I also undid the other spell that was placed upon him," Strange explained.

That made Silver confused. "Another spell? I don't think Anthony had another spell placed on him…"

"I mean, being turned into a frog is kind of a basic polymorph spell," Gabriel said. "There's probably plenty of people that could fall under that."

"It does happen more often than you think," Strange said. "However, I will put out a message to the other sorcerers to look out for a frog going by Anthony."

"Thanks," Silver smiled.

The heroes gave their goodbyes and went off to rejoin the others at Grizzly Peak, ready to open the gate to the heart of this land.

Author's Notes

Another shorter one, with cameos from all corners of the Marvel universe. Even Deadpool got to show up for a quick line!
The guy that Sisu met was Shang-Chi, which was a great movie that everyone should go see. Her feeling like she recognized the guy is a nod to how Sisu's actress plays Shang-Chi's best friend in the movie. I can see our favorite water dragon getting along with the Master of Kung-Fu.

Of course, a magical key needs a sorcerer to fix, so Dr. Strange was there to help. He's going to be getting a lot of stuff done in the MCU as of late, isn't he? Everyone got to say their biggest dreams and get support from the others for those dreams. And Silver is still looking for a way to make it up to Anthony. Hopefully he'll get that closure soon.
