The Seas Pavilion of Epcot was exactly what it sounded like: an exhibit all about the oceans of the world. Of course, with Cast Bots running around there were a lot more pirates than usual, but nothing that a few waves from Destiny's whale shark form couldn't handle. Logan let Soren pilot their boat, while Marian let out a sigh of contentment as she sunbathed on the deck.
"So Epcot is a pretty important part of the Magical World, right?" Soren asked his friend.
Logan nodded. "Yeah, it was Walt's dream city of tomorrow. It's part of why they bought of that land in Florida to begin with. Of course, after his death those plans didn't go through, so instead Epcot became all about education and future technology, culture, and conservation."
"The Seas Pavilion teaches you all about the wonders of the ocean and how we can protect it!" Destiny added. "Hex is probably doing something here to both protect the key and mess with the ocean."
"Oh, like a giant squid monster?" Logan asked.
"That's weirdly specific," Marian said.
"No, I mean, there's a giant squid monster straight ahead!" Logan shouted, pointing to the dark shape rising from the water.
Everyone screamed as tentacles rose up and rocked the boat, knocking Soren off of the wheel and sending his dice rolling away. "Be on the lookout from some weird effects about to happen, guys!" the Jaquin warned.
"I'll deal with this beast!" Logan said, drawing his sword. It ignited with green fire as his and Marian jumped into action, fighting off the tentacles as Soren chased his dice around. They were doing fairly well, but it was clear that the boat was taking all the rocking very well.
"Let me try to help!" Destiny called, swimming at the dark shape in the water.
"Wait, Destiny! That could make things-!" Soren tried to call, only to be flung up into the air as the whale shark's impact sent the boat spinning out of control. "Worse!" The infinity-sided dice finally stopped rolling, sending out a magical blast as everyone fell into the water and sank beneath the waves.
"Huh? How are we breathing?" Logan asked. He then gasped as he realized he had fins instead of hand. "What the heck? Are we all fish now!?"
"That must have been what the dice effect was this time," Soren sighed. "At least my fur isn't wet…"
"Wow, you guys look great," Destiny complimented. "Marian, you're a flying fox fish, and Soren, you're a leopard shark! Logan, it looks like you got turned into a electric eel."
"This is confusing, but fun!" Marian said, swimming around the others.
Going down to their now sunken boat, Logan pulled out a small radar and wrapped it around his tail. "Well, at least this radar that Oswald made us is waterproof. We better follow it if we want to get that key. The sooner the better."
"But it'll be fun swimming around here!" Soren said. "Can't we have some time to play first?"
"Sorry Soren, but it's not all fun and games down here," Destiny said. "It can be… kind of a mess down here sometimes. Life under the sea isn't all fun and a games." Music started to kick in as the whale shark sang.
Destiny:
The seaweed is always greener
In somebody else's lake.
You talk about playing down here,
But that is a big mistake.
Soren swam in front of her and smiled.
Soren:
But look at the world around us,
Right here on the ocean floor.
Such wonderful things surround us.
What more are we looking for?
Marian swam up next to her partner and sang along
Soren & Marian:
Under the sea,
Under the sea.
Darling, it's better down where it's wetter,
Take it from me!
The two of them swam between a few caves as Logan and Destiny tried to follow the radar signal.
Up on the shore they work all day,
Out in the sun they slave away.
While we devoting, full-time to floating,
Under the sea!
Soren watched in amazement as a school of fish swam by.
Soren:
Down here, all the fish is happy
As off through the waves they roll.
The fish saw the leopard shark and swam off scared, leaving Soren in a sad state.
Logan:
But fish in the sea ain't happy,
When predators are on the roam.
Destiny destined to jump back in here.
Destiny:
But fish on the run is lucky,
They in for a worser fate!
When the people up top get hungry...
Guess who's gonna be on the plate?
(Uh-oh!)
Destiny and Logan sang as they lead Marian and Soren to their destination.
Logan & Destiny:
Under the sea,
Under the sea.
Where are the small fry, try to run and hide
From those with big teeth!
Diving into a trench, the gang watched as fish chased each other around.
But no matter how just big you are
You'll be turned into someone's caviar!
So take it from us kid- life here is dangerous!
The group came up to a school of jellyfish, where Soren and Marian bounced around them while Destiny and Logan tried to keep them safe.
Soren & Marian:
Under the sea, (Under the sea!)

Since life is sweet here, we got the beat here
Naturally
(Naturally-y-y-y)
Seeing a school of manta rays, Destiny waved hello to Mr. Ray as they swam by.
Even the sturgeon and the ray,
They get the urge and start to play.
We got the spirit, you got to hear it,
Under the sea!
"Look, how about we just educate you on some of these dangerous fish," Destiny said.
Destiny:
The squids shoot their ink,
If sharks don't swim, we sink,
The lionfish it stings,
And boy they look sharp.
The stonefish that hide,
Like an octopi disguise,
A barracuda ate Nemo's mom!
"Don't remind me!" Logan shouted.
There's the big man o' war,
And urchins that roll,
The cone snail looks cute,
But deadly are its teeth.
Moray eels jump out,
To give you a fright,
And triggerfish are looking for a fight!
"Guys, woah, woah, woah!" Soren said, suddenly stopping the music. "I think we get it- the ocean has a lot of weird and dangerous animals in it. But shouldn't, like, be trying to have fun instead of being terrified of everything?"
Destiny and Logan shared a look. "I guess he has a point," Logan admitted.
"And with my size, most creatures don't even try to mess with me," Destiny added.
"So, why don't we just follow the radar and try to have some fun?" Marian suggested.
Logan and Destiny shrugged, the music coming back as they all sang together.
Everyone:
Yeah!
Under the sea,
(Under the sea)
Under the sea.
(Under the sea)
When the sardine begin the beguine,
It's music to me!
(Music is to me)
"Where did everyone come from!" Logan called as other fish came out to play along with the music.
What do they got? A lot of sand!
We got a hot crustacean band.
Each little clam here know how to jam here,
Under the sea!
"You rock it, clams!" Soren laughed.
Each little slug here cutting a rug here,
Under the sea!
"But watch out for the poisonous ones!" Destiny warned.
Each little snail here know how to wail here,
That's why it's hotter under the water!
Yeah, we in luck here down in the muck here
Under the sea!
Once the song ended, the gang had a good laugh before the radar started going off like crazy. "Looks like we're close," Logan stated.
"Well that's good, because I think all the singing was enough time for the spell to wear off," Soren said. With a bubble popping noise everyone besides Destiny turned back to normal, surprising them as they couldn't breathe underwater now. The whale shark swam around her friends and tried to bring them to the surface, but the tentacle monster from before appeared and wrapped all of them up.
"Hey, let go!" Destiny cried, struggling as they were all brought up to the surface.
"Gah! Fresh air, how I missed you!" Logan gasped.
"Excurse us, Mr. monster, but could you not eat us today?" Marian asked. "We're on a very important mission.
"Eat ya? Now why would my Mitzy do that?" asked a wacky voice.
Soren looked around for where the voice came from in confusion. "Was that SpongeBob?" he asked.
"He's Nickelodeon, not Disney," Logan said. "Hey, there's a guy on top of this monster!"
The monster set Logan, Soren, and Marian down on its head, with Destiny landing back in the water and going into human form to join them. Riding the monster was a duck in a red jacket and beanie, clearly one of the Duck family. "Ahoy fellow ocean researchers! The name's Fethry Duck, one of Donald's cousins. This is my girl, Mitzy."
"A… giant krill?" Logan realized, getting a better look at the monster.
"Mm, just thinking about how good this would taste," Destiny drooled, before shaking her head. "But maybe food should be a thought saved for later. Fethry, are you here looking for the key as well?"
"Mitzy and I have been clearing out those pirate robots from polluting the water around here," Fethry explained. "The Junior Woodchuck Guidebook always says to leave your designated area better than you found it, after all."
Soren looked at the radar and saw that it was still beeping at a fast rate. "You wouldn't have happened to have found a key, would you?"
"I got a few keys," Fethry said. "Skeleton key, car key, boat key, Mickey key, the key to my heart- that one's for a special someone. Plane key, house key-"
"The Mickey Key is important to us," Marian piped up. "Do you think we could have it?"
"Sure!" Fethry exclaimed, handing it over to the vixen. "Besides, I don't have any Mickey-shaped holes for it to fit in right now anyway."
Logan and Soren shared a look. "He's not the most focused, is he?" Soren asked.
"But he is one of the lead researchers here," Logan pointed out. "We actually know more about outer space than the ocean."
"Amazing," Soren said in awe. "Well, thanks Fethry! We'll be using this key to help Donald and the others."
"Good luck, young explorers!" Fethry waved goodbye as the team left back to meet with the others.
Author's Note
This chapter was definitely a lighter one as last chapter got a bit down. I thought it would be fun if the gang sang a parody of "Under the Sea" talking about some of the dangers of the ocean, so I hope you enjoyed that.
Cousin Fethry is one of Donald's cousins, and in the 2017 show is voiced by the legendary Tom Kenny, hence the SpongeBob reference. And yes, he does have a giant Krill pet named Mitzy. Go watch Ducktales 2017 it's really good!
