Gabriel Agreste's assistant has become bedridden quite suddenly. He hires Ellis to help her 'recover', but something isn't right. She begins to Care for Nathalie, over time her professionalism drops, seeing how hard she works (even in her current state), seeing how passionate she is for helping Mr. Agreste inspired Ellis to work even harder than ever before! But, Mr. Agreste never thanks Nathalie for her hard work, all of her effort goes unappreciated.

Will Ellis be able to resist these negative emotions?

SOME CHAPTERS CONTAIN BLOOD AND HANAHAKI DISEASE, PLEASE READ THE TWS AT THE TOP OF THOSE CHAPTERS! (Chapters with TWs have 'TW' In the name too, please read those with caution). READ WITH CAUTION PLEASE!

(The OC Ellis is mine and the other OC is not, they're a friend's!)

Miraculous does not belong to me, neither do the characters.

Before you get started :D

Check here for minor updates! (Major ones get added to the end of a chapter or their own!)

Honestly this only exists because I can't find any Nathalie fics and I thought it'd be fun to write something different.

Updates will be kind of slow as I am working on Smitten and Sweet as candy along side this fic, please be patient!

Feel free to request any one shots/scenarios! I love hearing other's ideas!

Critique is welcomed! Please check out my other fics! :D

Also I plan to akumatise Ellis! I also have added something special to getting akumatised for plot!

This used to be an x reader and, still (mostly) reads like one.

(1st person btw)

~❀The Interview❀~

I stood before a white tablet, the screen showed a woman with dark hair pulled neatly into a bun. She looked up at me as I slowly sat in the soft red chair. Her fingers flicked through the papers she held on the other side of the screen. Her eyes slowly glancing over the words. I was as stiff as a board, a lump formed in my throat as I gulped heavily.

"I'm Ellis." I mumbled.

"Good morning, Ellis. Are you here for the interview?"

"Yes, but I assumed Mr. Agreste was doing the interviews. I presume he's busy." I say, my voice trembling.

"Yes, he's quite busy." She pauses as she looks up from the paper. "You appear to have a lot of experience."

"Yes. Most of my work has been with the elderly, of course." I felt my fingers tighten into a fist as I looked at the small screen sitting on the desk.

Her eyes glanced back at the paper. "I see... So tell me about yourself."

"Well as you know I have a lot of experience as a carer. I also help with local events when I can..." I pause as I try to think of more to say.

"Alright, why do you want this job?" she says before I can continue.

"I want the job because I need a job closer to home, and the experience will be greatly beneficial." I say, as confidently as I can muster.

"Why should Mr. Agreste hire you?" she asks, her eyes glancing at the paper again. She looked exhausted.

"Well... I'm dedicated to helping others and I'm willing to go the extra mile. Like staying overnight." I smile as I answer this time. The woman glances at the paper again, her fingers guiding a small piece of hair behind her ear.

"Do you have any questions about the position?" She asks, her voice wavering with tiredness. It seems like she had been doing this all day, but it was still very early.

"I do have one. Who will I be caring for? It wasn't specified when I was applying." I say, tilting my head like a confused puppy.

"Well that would be myself." She says, her exhaustion becoming more apparent. I think for a moment, trying to figure out what I should say.

I nod as I stand. "Oh! Okay. Well... thank you for your time." I sling my bag over my shoulder.

"Yes. I will contact you about the position soon." She says politely as I exit the room.

I could hardly recall the questions as I walked out of the large home. There weren't too many other candidates left waiting when I strode out of the grand metal gate, it seemed as if the job wasn't too popular. I was strangely relieved that she didn't seem to have too much work. Someone so exhausted shouldn't be overworking themselves, Gabriel should be doing those interviews!
