~❀The First Day❀~

I found myself employed by none other than Gabriel Agreste! I opened a large wooden door to see the beautiful woman from the interview. The red streak in her hair was neatly tucked away from her face. "Good morning." I said, peaking round the door.

"Good morning." She replies as I slowly enter the room. She looked at me from her bed. "I wasn't expecting you quite this early. I'm sorry I'm not dressed."

"It's alright, I'm here to help so don't worry about it." I smile at her, tucking my hair behind my ear. She nods and I glance around the room. I gently find myself a seat. "It's always a little awkward the first couple of days."

She looks at me "I'm sure it'll be easier in a little while." She tenderly picks up her glasses and pushes them along the bridge of her nose.

"Of course! But I am going to have to ask a few questions, if you don't mind!"

"Yes, of course."

"Well to start I need to know a bit more about your condition, Mr. Agreste told me you were prone to dizzy spells." I say, my phone gently lighting up my chin.

"Yes, that's right. I've also started to become exhausted rather quickly. I can't do as much as I used to." she adds, I look at her. Her blue eyes reflecting the light from her bedside lamp.

"Do you have any allergies or other conditions I should be aware of?"

"No. Anything else you need to know?"

"Just one more question! Due to your condition, would you like assistance when moving around?" I quickly tap my phone, my nails making a satisfying clack against the glass. I had been quickly typing out notes as Nathalie thought about her answer. I look back at her.

"I'll let you know if I do." she says as she pulls her hair above her head.

"Alright! Since I'm early I'll get you something to eat." I stand up. Her hands gently twisting her hair into a smooth bun.

"Thank you."

Gently I placed a vase onto a shelf in Nathalie's room, my fingers gingerly nudging the red flowers so that they faced forwards. The door slowly opened and Nathalie leaned against the frame. She seemed to be managing well on her own. "Hello again, are you feeling better after your shower?" I ask, my head turning away from the flowers. She turns to me, her hair still in a neat bun. She was wearing a red turtle neck beneath a deep navy blazer and trousers.

"Yes, I'm feeling well enough." She let out a small sigh as she walked to a seat in the room, she slumped into it and rested her forehead against her fingertips. I lowered my hands from the flowers and looked at her.

"If you need any assistance please let me know. That's why I'm here." I tug gently on my skirt as I readjust myself. My jacket was slung over the back of the chair across from Nathalie, along with my bag. I mooched over to them and Rummaged through the deep pockets of my jacket: swiftly pulling out my phone.

"I have a meeting with Mr. Agreste later this evening." she says, looking up at me.

I look at her. "I'm guessing you'd like me to leave during it?" I ask presumptuously.

"Yes, that would be appreciated."

I nod in response. My fingers tapping against my phones screen. I looked down at the notes I had been taking through the morning.

Suffers from dizzy spells and exhaustion

No allergies

Can take care of herself well

Meeting this evening, do not be present!

The light of the screen faded away as I tapped the power button. Nathalie shifted in her seat as I sat across from her. My fingers shifting my bag to the floor promptly. "What time is the meeting?"

"It's at 5 O'clock." She responds, resting her elbow against the arm of her seat, her legs crossed neatly as she looked over at me. My hands fidgeting with my small, silver phone.

"Alright, I'll make a start on dinner during your meeting then." I nod as open my phone again, carefully making another note. My hand runs along my ear as I push my hair from my face. I look back at Nathalie. Her fingers grip a white tablet tightly. She's still working as an assistant, even like this. How impressive.
