Note: This story was a mix of two things. On one hand, I had always wanted to try my hand at writing a fanfic but either never got around to it mostly because I spent a lot of time playing other games. But with an assignment I had for college English, I decided to write this story. This story most involves a theme I've thought about, that being the "What if Robin(Avatar) met his/her potential spouse when they were kids?" I chose RobinxCordelia because that was my #1 favorite ship. Now that's out of the way enjoy my first ever fanfiction. Reviews and suggestions are appreciated.

Additional Note: I don't own Fire Emblem Awakening nor its characters.

Ch.1: Intro

"After them!"

"Don't let her escape!"

The rain was difficult enough for her to deal with now they're closing in?! Lara felt like her legs could give any second but as long as the child was in her hands she kept going.

" Where is that house, the map said that it should be nearby," Lara exclaimed. "No, just calm down Lara the house must be close it just might be hidden because of the rain and darkness."

"M-Mama… I want to go home."

"We'll be in our new home soon enough, my baby."

Just then the light from the thunderstorm flashes the area revealing a structure in the distance. Resolving her will she heads to the structure. Arriving at the dark house partially claimed by nature she opens the door and enters. Placing Robin on the floor she scans the house.

"Mama, can I sleep now?"

"Yes, let's go find something to cover you with so you can go to sleep"

Finding some leftover blankets scattered around the house she makes a makeshift bed and tucks Robin into this bed.

"Goodnight Mama," Robin says just before letting sleep claim him. "I love you."

"I love you too Robin"

Going near the closed window she hears the cultists and listens in on their conversation.

"Damn it all, she got away," one exclaimed.

"For now, we both know that she cannot hide from him forever, and I'm betting that she knows that as well," the other says.

"Well for now let's report back."

As she hears them walk away a sigh of relief escapes her lips. While in her mind she agrees with what those cultists said, she decides to be more prepared for when it happens. While doing more thinking she lies down next to Robin and lets the sleep claim her as well.
