Hello, one and all. You know I totally forgot about this until a few days ago. I was going to post it, but then I needed to fix the ending, because before it didn't really end it just sort of stopped. And then I was trying all weekend to post it but my connection kept timing out, whatever that means. So, I finally got it up, and I hope you like it. Please make my day and read and review!

Disclaimer: Ha ha ha no. It's not mine.

Midnight held important meaning for all of them.

Midnight was the time Beast Boy finally fell asleep on the night of Terra's betrayal, four hours after the fact. After recounting the story to his teammates several times he had taken three sleeping pills and crawled into bed just as the clock hit twelve.

At midnight on the fourth night of his apprenticeship to Slade, Robin had considered taking his own life. The only thing that stopped him was the realization that without any incentive to keep them around, Slade could easily destroy his friends' lives at, literally, the push of a button.

Midnight was the hour Raven had counted down to on her birthday, hoping against hope that the day would pass unmarked, and knowing in her heart midnight would not strike until it was far too late. After the events had ended that evening, shortly before eleven thirty, she had still kept her eyes on the clock, wanting to put as much time between herself and the past as possible

It was on the stroke of midnight that Starfire had received the message from Tamaran informing her of her betrothal which was to take place in three day's time. Why it had come to her at that hour she had never been able to figure out; her best guess was that no one on her home planet had taken into consideration the time change between the two planets.

It was midnight when Cyborg had awoken after his first day helping out Titans East to find himself groggy and staring into the eyes of the team, who were eagerly wondering if he was alright from their showdown with Brother Blood. He had been surprised to find out he had been out for almost thirty minutes as his power cell came back on line.

Midnight held important meaning for all of them, important memories for all of them.

None of the memories were good.

But they couldn't be changed.

But now-

Now that the sun had set on Terra's stint as a villain

Now that the sun had shone through the crack's of Slade's plans

Now that the stars had realigned themselves to crush Trigon's attempt to permanently destroy the Earth

Now that light had prevailed over darkness on Blackfire's failed effort at marriage arranging

Now that the sun had blinded the malevolence of Brother Blood-

That's all they were.

Just memories.
