Summary: Quickie One Shot… GSR… Sara makes a humorous observation about Grissom.

Grissom heard a noise coming from the living room in his townhouse. It was a new noise that Grissom finally had the privilege of hearing. After 10 years of knowing (and 1 month of allowing himself to love) Sara Sidle he finally heard her laughter fill his heart and home.

Grissom could not suppress the grin that crossed his face as he finished making the breakfast omelets for the two of them. He loved the sound of her laughter. It was rich and throaty with a nice sexy feminine quality to it.

He plated the omelets and brought them to Sara as she sat cross legged on his couch watching the TV. She reached out for one of the plates in his hand and placed it on her lap.

"Home Improvement?" Grissom questioned with a smirk and a cocked eyebrow. "What is so hilarious about this?"

Sara blushed "No, I just realized something quite amusing"

"What?" Grissom asked as he sat down next to her and dug into his omelet.

"Oh, nothing. It's stupid" Sara mumbled as she started eating.

"First, nothing you think is stupid. And second, I'm just curious what you find amusing about this show" Grissom stated as he looked over at her.

"Well I just realized that you are Wilson". At Grissom's confused gaze she continued: "Wilson, the Taylor's neighbor is just like you. He quotes famous philosophers, Shakespeare, poetry, and anything else to give wisdom or help solve a problem. And…" Sara trailed off.

"And…" Grissom waited for her to finish her response.

"And he hides behind a fence. The viewers never see the whole package that is Wilson. You both quote things that apply to any situation, yet you still hide a part of yourself from the outside world. I just never noticed how similar you are to that character until now" Sara shrugged her shoulders.

Grissom contemplated her observations for a moment. "But I am getting better" he finally said poking her side with his elbow.

"Better at what?" Sara questioned.

"Allowing you to see me without the fence" Grissom simply stated.

"Yeah, I like it when we are together like this. I'm glad you finally let me through the fence's gate" Sara grinned up at him.

"Well you are the only one with the key" Grissom smiled back as he leaned closer to kiss her.

Sara chuckled slightly as their lips met. After they broke off the kiss, she leaned back into his chest and sighed.

The key was worth the wait Sara thought to herself.

A/N – Yeah during spring break I watched a lot of Home Improvement, and every time Wilson would quote something, I was like Grissom would say that. I love a man who can quote. So Reviews please!
