Beginning
Author's Note: I will alternate between working on this and El Rey.
Karakura Town, World of the Living
It was a cool, crisp day in Karakura Town, evening was slowly creeping onto the town. People were returning home from work, or heading out to start the weekend early. A small 11 year old girl peaked her head out of her home's rear door. She has short light blonde hair.,with short bangs hanging over the right side of her forehead. She also was wearing a red hair clip on the left side of her head. She also was wearing a green hoodie over her school uniform and slippers. "Ichi-nii" She called out softly into the encroaching darkness, she looked left and right before calling out again this time a little louder.
"Ichi-nii it's time for bed...I know you're busy but can you tuck us in?", when nothing happened she looked down dejectedly and slowly turned around preparing to close the door behind. Unbeknownst to her a tear in the air in the middle of the backyard occurred, a single clawed hand kept tearing at the air until a strange portal opened up held open by two clawed hands with red tufts around the wrists. A mascline figure then emerged and its form was terrifying to say the least. He has retractable claws on his fingertips and toes, small, furry red tufts, two starting from his collarbone and stretching around his neck and one each on his wrists and ankles, and white skin. In this new form, he has a different Hollow mask. It covers Ichigo's entire head, and its markings are different, for it has four spike-shaped marks, two of them stopping by the forehead and the other two stretching past the eyes and teeth, going past his chin and joining with the marks on his chest. There are small marks resembling a heart, but with the top and bottom open, extending from the inner corners of his eyes. The mask features two long forward-pointing horns, with black strips extending from their center towards the tips.
It stepped out and stood on the cool grass, the girl paused and then turned around and squealed but not out of fear but joy. "Ichi-nii!" She hugs the figure which hugs her back,normally a small child such as herself would be fearful of a monster like this. However this wasn't a normal monster, this was her older brother Ichigo Kurosaki. There was a noise and the sounding of a thud and shouting which ruined the moment. The girl peaked out from behind her brother and spotted three femaine figures tangled up and she blinked. "Ughh move your foot!" Snapped the first female figure.
She had long, black hair with two pigtails which reached down her back, a slender build, and her visible right eye was pink. The remnants of her mask cover her left eye, which is shaped around her eye with teeth dotted along the bottom of the mask, and there is an extension from her mask into her hair which resembles a hair tie. The second figure kicked her off, with a grunt. This figure has short, slicked blonde hair with a slight fringe over her right eye. In addition, she also has green eyes. Her Hollow mask is positioned around her right eye, completely obscuring it from view, with teeth dotted around the bottom. The final figure popped out from the pile with annoyance.
This figure has short purple hair, purple eyes, black fingernails, light purple lipstick, and a light purple teardrop marking on each cheek. Her outfit consists of a frilly dress with large, poofy sleeves that cut off at her shoulder and a pair of knee-high boots. She also wears fingerless, evening-style gloves, as well as leg warmers that attach to garters at her thighs. Yuzu blinks again as she watches the three fight. She felt hot breath on her and looked up and noticed her brother's glowing yellow eyes indicating he was highly annoyed now. Yuzu pulled away from her brother and held his clawed hand and patted it causing him to look at her and rubbing her head. He kneels down allowing the small girl to climb up his shoulder and sits on it she then turns to the three and clears her throat.
All three quit their fighting and look up and blink and then gulp when they see Ichigo's glowing yellow eyes. They then get on their hands and knees and prostrate themselves before Ichigo and his sister. "We're so sorry Lord Ichigo-ou, and Lady Yuzu-oujo, It will never happen again. Yuzu just giggled "It's alright Cirucci, Menoly, and Loly-chan." She said in a soft spoken voice and then turned to her brother who didn't say anything and just turned around and carried his sister back into the house. The three females just blinked and looked at each other before they stood up, dusted themselves off and followed their King and princess back into the house. "This is all your fault Cirucci…" Scowled the short haired girl name Menoly, the gothic girl name Cirucci whirled around and glared back at menoly causing a short staring contest between the two.
Loly interrupted them "Knock it off.." She hissed softly while looking at their king as the wind caused his long mane-like orange hair to sway softly back and forth like a flag on a flagpole. The door to the house opened and a small semi-petite female stood at the doorstep and bowed before Ichigo with Yuzu still riding on his shoulder "Lord Ichigo-ou, Lady Yuzu-oujo.." she spoke softly and in a stoic tone, she was short and had long icy-blue hair that extended past her waist and a white kimono with its sleeves covering her hands. She had a strange hair band wrapped around her hair and her right eye was covered by her hair. Her left eye was icy blue and had strange marks underneath it a sword was holstered over her right shoulder and a strange dragon like creature was wrapped around her shoulder.
It flew over and snuggled with the young human girl who giggled in response. The woman spoke again, "Lady Karin-oujo is getting…" She was cut off by a loud shout. "God damn it Aleksandra! I told you for the one-hundredth time Karin is fine!" Everyone looked up and spotted a black hair girl sticking her head out of the window above the door. The woman bowed, "My apologies Lady Karin." The girl's eye twitched and she growled in annoyance and slammed the window in response. Aleksandra covered her mouth with the sleeve of her kimono. "It appears I made a mistake." Ichigo placed his clawed hand on her shoulder causing her to blush and squeak.
Aleksandra stared into the darkened eyes of Ichigo, her eye being to sparkle. Loly peaked out from behind her king. "Don't you have to go on patrol?" She asked out of annoyance. Aleksandra blinked and jumped. "Oh..that's..right...Lady Arisawa is going to be mad at me." She bowed to Ichigo and then towards Yuzu as the dragon left Yuzu and returned to Aleksandra. Yuzu chirped "Wait Aleksandra..I made some cookies for you, Tatsuki, Yin, Yang, and Chu." Aleksandra bowed again "Your too kind Lady Yuzu-oujo." She took the platter of cookies, bowed again and left. Ichigo, accompanied by the three girls before, took his sister into her room. He kneeled down and Yuzu climbed down. He turned his attention towards the black hair girl from earlier who was reading a Manga.
Menoly then spoke "My lord did you do your daily check?"She paused when he froze Karin continued to read her manga but buried her face into it. Yuzu replied as she held Ichigo's clawed hand "It's fine Ichi-nii I burned my thumb making the cookies but it doesn't hurt. Orihime healed it." She tilted her head with a smile, but Ichigo wasn't having him take her hand and checked it as well as the other hand. As Yuzu said the wound had healed and was no longer there though Ichigo could tell it was there. Loly then approached Karin, who continued to read her manga but did perk up slightly.
Loly kneeled "Lady Karin-oujo..I need to check you for injuries." Karin groaned and rolled her eyes. {"I get Ichigo is the God-king but seriously just call me Karin."} She muttered internally. She sighed and moved the covers to sit on the bed as Loly poked and prodded, Karin hissed as Loly found a series of scraps and bruises. "Loly.." Menoly said slowly to her friend who apologized quickly. Karin waved her off, "It's fine I went out skating." She explained. Loly looked up "Shouldn't the guards have picked up on you being hurt? Ichigo-sama is gonna be pissed." Karin chuckled at this, "Yea a gillian used Negación I had him bring me here rather than El castillo." Loly nodded. "Ichigo is probably gonna place you on lock down." Menoly added in as Cirucci just nodded while Loly healed Karin up.
Ichigo tuks Yuzu and looks over to Karin and sees Loly healing her up and he moves over to tuck her in but is stopped by Menoly. "Allow us Ichigo-sama." She states as she tuks Karin in, Menoly ruffled Karin's hair who swatted back playfully. "Ichigo-sama…" Loly being but shrinked back when the large male turned his eyes towards her. "Can we stay with them?" Loly asked after a few minutes while twiddling with her fingers. Ichigo nodded and did something that caught her off guard as he nuzzled her causing her to blush deeply "I..Ichigo-sama…" She cupped her hand over her mouth. Ichigo did the same to Menoly and Cirucci, before being interrupted by someone.
"Ichigo-sama." Spoke a cold, aloof femaine voice, Ichigo turned around and spotted a teenage like female wearing a sleeveless corset like shirt with a purple zig-zag lines and teal green hair and eyes with what looks like a insect skull on her forehead and a sword at her hip. She bows slightly, and Menoly, Loly, and Cirucci froze "...Chō.." Spoke Loly with fear, but she paused when the sleeping form of Yuzu held her hand as she sat on her bed. Loly rubbed the girl's head and hummed softly. Ichigo looked back at his sisters and towards Chō he pointed his horns in a direction indicating he wanted to talk outside the room.
The two left the room, as Menoly and Cirucci decided to take a guard stance outside the room leaving Loly inside the room as they turned off the lights. Even in the darkness Loly could tell that Karin was still awake even though she pretended to sleep. "You alright..L...Karin?" Loly corrected herself remembering how much the princess hated being referred to as a princess. Karin nodded sniffling softly, but Loly knew otherwise who made her way over to Kairn and hugged the black hair girl and just rubbed the back of her head as she looked out the window and stared at the moon.
Meanwhile in another location
On top of a tall skyscraper sat a teenage girl of average height with black hair and brown eyes. Around her head were two white bone fragments, she wore a white long sleeved shirt with black lines cut off at her waist and showed off her legs and white leggings that stopped above her knees and wrapped around her feet similar to feet wrappings, her sword was attached to her back. She leaned onto a skylight, and looked up at the night sky. She placed her hand over her solar-plexus. Memories flashed through her head, as she remembered being human, a younger smiling Ichigo. Tears threatened to exit her eyes, a voice kept ringing out in her head.
"Lady Arisawa…." The voice ranged out but was drowned by the encroaching static.
"Lady Arisawa..!" The voice came back louder but again was drowned out.
"Lady Arisawa!" The girl's eyes widened as she was suddenly shaken awake. She blinked and looked around and spotted three individuals surrounding her. The first two were twin girls, the youngest twin had short red hair, the oldest twin had longer blue hair which is parted in pigtails. Both have aqua color eyes and tattoos around their eyes. The remnants of their Hollow masks act as a kind of headband, both of which go vertically down the middle of their heads before reaching their eyebrows. The mask remnants also act as a sheath for their weapons, sitting behind their head horizontally. Both have their Hollow Hole located on their chest, but hidden by their uniforms.
A sleeveless white jacket, elbow-length gloves, white bracelets on each wrist, sock-like stockings, black high heeled Arrancar-themed boots, and short schoolgirl-themed skirts. Of this, the skirt, stockings and gloves are colored to represent their element (red for the youngest twin, blue for the oldest twin). The next figure wore a long qipao-style blouse, with silk green biddings tied around her arms and had green hair tied into Chinese-style buns on her head with short fringe-bangs framing her face. She had a green headband tied around her eyes with a yellow dragon imprinted on it. "Yin, Yang, and Chu Hua." The girl said, as she rubbed her hand and stood up.
She looked around as if she was looking for someone one cue the sound of someone skidding to a stop was heard. They turned around and spotted Aleksandra standing there panting and holding a platter of cookies. She bowed her head "Apologies for being late Lady Arisawa...oh Lady Yuzu-oujo made us a batch of cookies." She apologizes/states in between breaths. The girl blinked and scratched behind her head "I told you it's just Tatsuki cut this noble crap alright." Tatsuki stated out of annoyance, similar to Karin she hated being treated like an upty noble. Aleksandra blinked before bowing her head again "As you wish Tatsuki-sama." Tatsuki sighed but decided to let it slide, {"That's the most I'm gonna get out of her."}.
"What are your orders my lady?" Yin asked as she twirled her long blue hair, Tatsuki groaned and a tick mark formed on her head but she sighed and shook her head. "Alright listen up Ladies!" She stated with an authoritarian tone as the four females bowed as they awaited Tatsuki's orders. "We're gonna be on patrol, the same drill. We need to make sure any Shinigami don't get close, and kill any hollows not aligned with Ichigo." Aleksandra sweatdropped at Tatsuki's causally way of talking about Ichigo {"I'm surprised Ichigo-sama hasn't Gran Rey Cero her."} She thought with a blank expression on her face.
The five girls then Sonído away as they begin their patrol of the city. Tatsuki would occasionally look around at how much the city has grown since she was alive. {"Which...isn't much…"} She sweatdropped at this, the memories came back but not as terrifying as they were before. {"I kinda of miss being a human…"} Tatsuki slightly smiled at the fond memories of her being alive and causing Ichigo to cry every time at karate practice. Tatsuki shook her head as her and her Fracción patrolled the city occasionally killing a hollow not aligned with Ichigo or who was independent, to their surprise there was no shinigami.
The girls took a small break in a small park in one of the many suburbs of the city. "You know, I'm glad we haven't run into a Shinigami since the last guy ran screaming with his pissed stained pants back home!" Yang exclaimed as she took a bite of the cookie Yuzu made earlier that day. The others nodded with expectation of Chu Hua who was being fed some cookies by Aleksandra who chimed in "The quality of shinigami have been decreasing for some time." Yin nodded "What's the point of having an academy if you're just gonna send in shitty shinigami." She took a bite of the cookie and moaned at the taste. "Whoa..these are good." She added, Tatsuki nodded, "Yuzu is a good cook." She replied as she took a bite of the cookie as well.
After an hour of patrolling the sun was rising, Tatsuki yawned even though she didn't need sleep. It was a habit she never could get rid off, she just wanted to go home and kick it. That was the plan until "Uh..Tatsuki-sama?" Aleksandra asked as she tugged on Tatsuki's sleeve. "Yea?" Tatsuki asked as she sat down by the river to watch the sun rise. "We have to give in our report." Aleksandra hesitated before speaking. Tatsuki's eyes twitched, and she sighed depressed {"And I promised Orihime…."} She internally whined, "Fine..just let me call Orihime." She said as she looked for her Denreishinki, "Uh..where is it…" She said softly to herself.
Chu Hua held out a hand revealing a small flip phone with a skull with a 'Victory' Bandana wrapped around the forehead. Tatsuki looked up and took from her hand "Thanks." Tatsuki smiled as she rubbed Chu Hua's head. The girl didn't speak but did quickly hide her flustered face from her mistress. She dialed her friend's number and turned away as it rang for a few minutes. A voice answered "Hello? Oh Hi Tatsuki!" Came a bubbly femaine voice from the other end of the line. "Hey Hime..listen I will be late I went on patrol and have to give my report. You know how Ichigo is." Tatsuki replied. Aleksandra sweatdropped again at the casual remark, Yin piped "Cut her some slack, technically she is a member of the royal family." She elbowed the Icy hair girl who frowned "Still she needs to show Ichigo-sama some respect." She said with a slight huff and crossed her arms.
"Oh Okay.." The voice sounded disappointed for a second, Tatsuki quickly replied "Hey listen I will repay you okay?". "It's okay Tatsuki, we may have to reschedule anyway. I have to work on a project with Chad and Uryū..we're at Uryū's house if you wanna stop by." Tatsuki nodded, "I will pass, but I will stop by later." "Sounds good. I have to go. Be safe Tatsuki!" Orihime said before hanging up. Tatsuki handed her Denreishinki to Chu Hua who ate the small flip phone causing Tatsuki to sweatdrop {"Maybe I should ask that Bucket hat guy to modify my uniform to have pockets...I mean at least she has that dimension in her stomach."}.
"Alright, I'm ready now." Tatsuki stated and Aleksandra nodded and waved her hand as the sky above them ripped open as multiple creatures clawed their way out the hole. They all have a white mask with an elongated nose. Their bodies are covered from their head to their feet with a black covering reminiscent of a cloak. Around their neck is a row of thin white spikes. They have large, pointed feet wrapped in white bandages. They have large white hands with long, sharp, white nails. One opened its mouth followed by another and another and another as yellow beams streamed out and surrounded the five girls.
The beams raised them up as the hole in the sky slowly and very slowly began to close. It finally closed and the sky resumed normal with humans going about their day as if nothing had happened or occurred that was out of the ordinary.
Back with Ichigo's sisters
The sun shines brightly onto the small home that Yuzu and Karin lived in. Above the door sat an aged and weathered sign with fading lettering that read "Kurosaki Clinic". Birds chirped and flew by. The Sun shone brightly and focused on a sleeping Karin Kurosaki, Loly was still holding onto her. Loly finally awoke and yawned and stretched out her arm. She softly laid Karin back down and retuked her in the bed. She stood up shakenly, and exited the room and made her way downstairs where Menoly was watching television with Cirucci. "Morning sleepyhead." Menoly chuckled, Loly waved her off as it was still too early to start anything.
Loly noticed Yuzu was making breakfast, and she approached her and bowed on one knee "Morning Lady Yuzu-oujo." She stated respectful with a slight yawn. Yuzu noticed her and smiled brightly, "Morning Loly-chan." She said bubbly as she was making pancakes. "Did you sleep well?" Yuzu asked as she handed the teenager several plates and napkins. "I slept fine..how about yourself?" Loly stated/asked as she set the table. Yuzu nodded "I slept fine.." She trailed off when she noticed the clock and the calendar. "Oh I almost forgot." Yuzu stated as she went to the fridge and pulled out a plate of food. "Can you place this on the shrine? And have Menoly wake up Karin?" She asked, Loly nodded and did as her princess asked.
Loly placed the food on the shrine and pulled back and looked at the four pictures placed on the shrine. The first picture was of a man, the second was a woman, the third was a boy with orange hair and the final was a familiar girl with black hair. Loly then went and told Menoly to go wake up Karin. Loly and Cirucci helped Yuzu finish sitting up the table, Loly thought how weird it was that her hollow and an arrancar was taking orders from a human girl who also ironically enough despite being a human was her God-Princess. She chuckled to herself as she spotted Menoly and Karin coming down and joining them for breakfast.
"Oh yea we're reading poetry today!" Yuzu chirped, as Menoly just rubbed her head. "That..sounds cool." Menoly stated even though she didn't understand human schools. Yuzu nodded and her eyes sparkled for a moment and she paused eating. "I can ask my teacher to let me borrow the book...maybe I can go to El Castillo and read to Ichi-nii..maybe Ulquiorra-nii." She said hopefully, Loly and Cirucci choked on their food as Menoly and Karin both looked at each other then busted out laughing, and Menoly rubbed Yuzu's head, and messed up her hair. "That will be a sight to see." She said with a slight laugh.
They then help her clean up the table, and Loly helps Yuzu and Karin with their shoes as Menoly takes over escorting the twins to school, as Loly and Cirucci remain at home. Yuzu holds onto Menoly's hand as she begins to chat enthusiastically to the short-haired arrancar who just listened with a sweatdropped. Several monstrous beings move in between the human crowd though nobody pays them attention. The monsters would pause as the past the three and bow and show respect and reverence Yuzu just giggled and smiled while Karin was more annoyed even though she was the God-princess alongside her sister she didn't like being treated like one as it reminds her of a jerk on her soccer team.
"You think we can spend the night at El Castillo today?" Yuzu asked with hers sparkling, Menoly sweatdropped and rubbed the back of her head. "Sure I see why not, you two are the God-princesses." She poked Yuzu's nose, Karin had been looking up at the sky the whole time they were walking to Karakura S. Primary School. "Heyy...Menoly." She finally said after a few minutes. Menoly looked over at Karin checking over her for a few seconds in case something was wrong.
"You think Ulquiorra is gonna be there?" Menoly blinked for a few seconds and paused in her stride. "I dunno Ichigo-sama had sent him to Hueco Mundo, his brother and sister might be there." Menoly stated after a few minutes. Karin just made an 'O' with her mouth and went back to the sky. Menoly and Yuzu just blinked and looked at each other, Yuzu tugged at Menoly's sleeve and signaled for her to kneel down. Yuzu then whispered into her ear "You think she has a crush on Ulquiorra-nii?" Menoly eyes widened as she looked back to Karin and back to Yuzu.
{"No way...does she...oh man..Ichigo-sama might not be too happy."} Menoly thought before Karin interrupted them "Oi We're gonna be late." She called as the two looked up and noticed she had moved up a couple of blocks ahead of them. "No Fear!" Yuzu shouted with a pout as she ran up to meet her sister, pulling Menoly with her "He...Hey!" Shouted the teeanger.
