Normal days Pt I
Yuzu hummed a soft tune, as she held Rukia's hand, and led her through the streets of El Castillo. Rukia however was in awe and in shock, like how the younger Kurosaki had said the city was beautiful. A shadow flew over ahead, and Rukia looked up to see a serpentine-like hollow snaking its way through the sky. Rukia noticed hollows of all shapes and sizes as well as Arrancars, most ignored them but some just stopped and stared and whispered amongst themselves.
Some wondered "Why is the shinigami here?"and "Why is it with Lady Yuzu?". Rukia ignored the whispering to the best of her ability, and noticed Karin was lagging behind and munching on a Hollow shaped lollipop, Karin would look away whenever she caught Rukia glancing at her. "Hey...Yuzu?" Rukia asked, and Yuzu looked back over her shoulder "Hmm?" She asked as they stopped at what looked like a food both operated by a scorpion like hollow with a chief hat on his head. "Why do they call you lady?" She asked in a hushed voice, while Karin ordered some food.
Yuzu blinked and she tapped her chin for a few moments before responding. "Ichi-nii is the God-king of Hueco Mundo...that makes me and Karin God-princess." Rukia thanked Karin for handing her a drink and some food, and then she sputtered "W...w...wha?" {"They're princesses of Hueco-Mundo? Despite being Human?"}. Yuzu smiled "It's okay I like it's like a fairy tale...Karin doesn't like it though" She said, Karin sputtered like a broken record. "I….I..do it's just embarrassing and…" "Is everything alright?" Spoke a familiar and cold voice from behind Karin. She whirled around and blushed superhard at the sight of Ulquiorra, her brain was engaging in dial-up mode and trying to restart.
Yuzu hugged the pale-skinned arrancar, "Ulquiorra-nii!" She squealed. Rukia's eyes bulged out of her sockets. {"If I did that to Nii-sama I would be kicked out the clan."} Ulquiorra just stood there and awkwardly patted the young girl's hair. Rukia sweatdropped at this {"Yup...he is totally like Nii-sama."}.
Soul Society same time
Somebody sneezed, and blinked {"Am I catching a cold?"} They thought as they swore they felt somebody was talking about them.
Back in El Castillo
Ichigo looked out over the city, with his hands behind his back. He looked at his claw hand and was in deep thought. Loly carefully and slowly placed a cup of tea on the coffee table and bows on one knee. "Ichigo-sama...your tea is made." Ichigo nodded, and Loly was about to speak but Menoly stopped her and the two aides left the room. Something kept echoing through Ichigo's head, it was Rukia asking earlier why he never became an arrancar. {"Am I afraid of the multiple personalities within me?"} Ichigo wondered in thought.
Ichigo decided, soon, that very soon he will train with the Cifer siblings in Hueco Mundo and he will become an arrancar, even if he ends up splitting into multiple halves, the doors opened and Shinobu and Chō arrive and bow, Ichigo sighed and turned around to deal with this matter. Something had been happening in Hueco Mundo, it started when a large group of hollows arrived in El Castillo, many were injured and when asked the truth was revealed. Baraggan Louisenbairn is allied with a shinigami,who managed to defeat his followers easily, and promised him power.
Ichigo narrowed his pitch-black eyes, and was in deep thought as the two other Cifer siblings gave their report. They were interrupted by Ulquiorra escorting Yuzu, Karin, and Rukia. "Oh Hello Chō-nee, Shinobu-nii." Yuzu chirped and Shinobu gave his brother a look that only Karin and Rukia caught. Ulquiorra placed his hand softly on Yuzu's shoulder and motioned for her and Kairn to follow him. Karin refused, "Nah...I want to hear." Ulquiorra didn't say anything and escorted Yuzu out the room, she called out to Rukia. "I'm making dinner in the world of the living. I hope you come!" Rukia smiles and nods her head, as the door closes behind the two.
Rukia turned her head back to the elder Kurosaki sibling, and didn't know whether she should bow on her knee or her head. Ichigo just motioned her to sit at the table, she chose to sit next to Karin who didn't seem to protest at this. Rukia however could tell the black haired girl didn't really like her much, which Rukia was fine with. Chō and Shinobu looked at the shinigami briefly and looked at Ichigo. Rukia swallowed slowly and broke the ice "S..S..So what's going on?" Shinobu looked at Rukia then at Ichigo who just nodded, Rukia's eyes widened as Shinobu reached up and ripped out his eye which transformed in dust and flew around everyone in the room.
Rukia was about to ask what was going on, but paused as she saw what looked like flashes of someone. She wondered what was going on and gasped as she saw Shinobu memories, "Fascinating is it.." He spoke in a similar tone and manner to Ulquiorra Rukia turned to him. "Solita Vista...allows me to show you what I see and how I feel." He explained as he turned back to watch his memories. Rukia nodded at that and her eyes shocked as she sees a familiar figure {"N..N...N...no...It can't be…"} She stands up quickly, everyone blinks and stares at her. "You know that guy?" Karin asked with a tilted head, Rukia nodded slowly and sat back down "T..that was captain Sōsuke Aizen...he is the captain of the 5th Division...why is he in Hueco Mundo…". Shinobu analyzed her for a moment and sped up his Solita Vista to show Aizen speaking with Baraggan Louisenbairn.
Rukia's eyes widened as big as saucers, "That's Baraggan Louisenbairn, he overthrew Ichigo-sama...I'm suspecting based on how these two talk this...Aizen you speak of aided him somehow since he had also defeated his army easily." Rukia's eyes widened even bigger {"A...Aizen….helped this hollow overthrow Ichigo...my gut is telling me to believe them…"}. Rukia turned to face Ichigo "I..Ichigo?" She spoke his name carefully and the Vasto Lordes turned to her, and waited patiently for her to continue. Rukia slowly breathed in to calm her nerves. "When I return, I will report what you showed me to my superiors and I promise we will investigate this thoroughly...Captains have no business being in Hueco Mundo unless need be." Ichigo seemed satisfied, though it was hard to tell as he kept the same expression on his face all the time.
Karin scoffed but said nothing nevertheless and the two Cifer siblings said nothing. Rukia did wonder why Karin scoffed but she didn't push it any further. Yuzu came in flanked by Menoly and Loly and dragged Rukia out for shopping, Karin didn't even bother to save her and just waved and acted like she didn't know the petie shinigami as she was dragged out the keep.
World of the Living
Rukia blinked, as she had been dragged all the way to Urahara's shop where the overtly eccentric shopkeeper handed her, and the two arrancars Gigai. The teenagers were overtly happy with their Gigai's choice of clothing Menoly wore a plaid skirt with a hoodie with a spider web and sneakers, Loly wore a dress and sandals. Rukia was embarrassed as she tugged the skirt that showed off her legs. Yuzu walked over with sparkles "Oh my Rukia you look so pretty!" Menoly scoffed, Rukia blushed and tried to hide but Yuzu locked her arm with Rukia and led her with the two arrancars following.
Yuzu showed Rukia all the sights in town, and she occasionally noticed a hollow watching them. Rukia looked at Menoly "Is Ichigo the reason why there is a lack of Hollows?" Menoly blinked and nodded, "Yea a large majority of the Hollows in the world of Living are loyal followers of Ichigo and a part of his Gran Ejército." She explained but didn't go any further, Rukia nodded, figuring she wouldn't give her many answers as she was Ichigo's aide. They explored the city and Rukia was awe-stuck by the technology the humans had. She watched cars whizzed by and was amazed by the arcade.
After a long day of shopping, Yuzu led Rukia back to the home in tow with Menoly and Loly who weren't happy about being demoted to baggage carriers. Evening had fallen upon the city, and they entered the small home. Rukia had noted there was a faded red sign above the door that read "Kurosaki Clinic". Remembering her training as a Kuchiki she decided it would be rude to ask anything about it. She did wonder {"Where are their parents?"}She passed by a shrine and noticed four pictures arranged neatly and in order. Rukia noted the male looked familiar but she couldn't put her thumb on it.
She then saw the woman and can tell she was pretty like Yuzu. Her eyes widened like saucers as her eyes fell onto a somewhat familiar orange haired boy who was smiling. "N..N..N..N..no way...Kaien…." She said softly, "Whose Kaien? Your boyfriend or something?" Came the voice of Menoly as she peered over Rukia's shoulder. This caused the petie shinigami to jump in shock. Menoly busted out laughing and once she calmed down she reasked her question "So..whose this Kaien fellow?" She asked, Rukia looked down sadly "H..he was my mentor...something happened and he somehow...got infected by a hollow…" "And ya was forced to kill'em?" Rukia's dark eyes met Menoly's olive green eyes and she nodded.
Menoly placed her on Rukia's shoulder, "Hey now it was either you or him. That's how we roll, survival of the fittest, this Kaien guy would've been proud you proved your the fittest that hollow who infected him was a wimp and didn't make it." Rukia felt slightly better though she sweatdropped {"Uhh...am not a hollow but I'm okay now."} She looked back at the shrine and spotted a small girl who resembled a human version of Tatsuki. "I assume she was Tatsuki..but who is he?" Rukia asked Menoly while pointing at the orange-haired boy featured in the picture. Menoly's jaw dropped and her eyes were as wide as saucers, Rukia wondered if she said something wrong. Menoly shook her head and spluttered like a broken record on repeat
"T..T..T..T..T..thats...I...I..I...ichigo-sama...w...w..w...when...h..h..h..he was a alive…" She blushed deeply and shook her head rapidly. Rukia sweatdropped {"Sounds like she has a crush on Ichigo...I can see why..though why does he resemble Kaien so much and his father looks so damn familiar but I can't think of why or where.."} A knock at the door forced her thoughts to subside . Menoly opened it, and the Ishdia's entered carrying bags of food followed by Orihime, and Chad carrying in board games and a cake. Tatsuki and her Fracción followed behind, also wearing Gigai's. Starrk, Lilynette, and Circucci then arrived followed by the Arrancar who Rukia never got a chance to learn their name was.
Rukia noticed three individuals were missing, she then tapped Lilynette on her shoulder. The girl looked over her shoulder, and Rukia asked "May I ask where the Cifers are?" Lilynette tapped her shoulder, and then replied. "They in Hueco Mundo scoping out the new arrancars there." Rukia made an 'O' with her mouth and quickly excused herself to assist Yuzu with everything. "Ichigo is coming, he has to be careful with moving back and forth." Yuzu explained, Rukia nodded as it made sense {"He has immense spiritual pressure, he would need to be careful otherwise the Soul Society would pick him up."}. Karin rolled her eyes as she handed Loly a plate of food to place on the table. "Ichi-nii has so much spiritual pressure it shuts off most sensors and people's abilities to sense him. It's like has zero spiritual pressure, besides it's not his spiritual pressure when he gets pissed." She stated.
Rukia's eyes widened and she forgot how to speak for a moment, as she had to collect herself to prevent herself from dropping several platters. "...H….h...He has how...mu...much...spiritual pressure?" Karin blinked before repeating what she said "He has so much spiritual pressure...it's like it automatically shuts off anybody sensing him. They think he isn't a threat because he doesn't have any spiritual pressure on him." Rukia nodded as it made sense, the reason why this town was considered low-risk. "Makes sense that many shinigami returning from here have reported nothing." She said with a thoughtful look, and heard a scoff from Tatsuki.
"The last bozo screamed like a baby when Ichigo accidentally sprayed him with a watering can." She said as she was leaning on the counter, Rukia blinked {"Wait..other shinigami..have encountered Ichigo..before?"} "Has the quality of shinigami decreased? Many of the Shinigami we have encountered, have displayed laziness and a lack of willingness to perform their job." Aleksandra asked, to which Rukia blinked and tapped her lip. {"Huh...she does bring up a good point. Many of the squads have been slacking off minus the 2nd division."}.
Above the city a Garganta opened up and several figures stepped out. The lead had blue hair and a mask on the side of his mouth. He held a psychotic grin on his mouth and he cracked his knuckles. "Grimmjow Jaegerjaquez! The Sexta Espada has arrived!" He shouted.
