Normal Days ending
Author's Note: I apologize for the delay and the shortness, but am not feeling too good today, and I decided to produce a chapter.
"Is...that...no...nii-sama...what's he doing here!?" Rukia shouts to herself quietly as she feels her brother and superior captain exiting a Senkaimon gate. Aleksandra also looks the same direction and blinks in surprise and shock. "Why are two Captains here?" Her icy but enchanting voice rangs out. Rukia turned to her and shook her head in confusion "I.I..dunno I didn't report anything unusual…" Her eyes widened in realization "They must have sensed the massive spiritual pressure!" Aleksandra nodded and eyed the two spiritual pressures moving, "One is heading this way...fast, the other is headed towards Urahara shops." Rukia blinked in shock as she felt her brother heading this way.
"Q..Q..Quick Aleksandra…" she squeaked as the arrancar grabbed her and held her tight behind her as she stretched out her wings, like a mother chicken defending her baby chicks. Aleksandra glared hard at Byakuya Kuchiki, "Why are you here shinigami? This is the territory of our lord El Diablo." Rukia peaked out from the wings and felt small at the sight of her brother as he held his Zanpakutō, as he stared at the arrancar in shock, and firmness. "Who are you…" He started as he tried to remain stoic but he was shocked at a humanoid Hollow who also held a Zanpakutō. He also spotted his adoptive sister hiding behind the hollow and making no attempt to escape.
"Rukia…" He started as she squeaked and hid further she knew she was in huge trouble. "What the hell are you doing?" he then asked as he narrowed his eyes. Rukia tugged on Aleksandra's arms, and motioned for her to step aside. Rukia slowly stepped forward and drew her Zanpakutō. "I'm sorry...nii-sama….Aleksandra go get Ichigo and the others and go back to El castillo...I will hold them off" Both Byakuya and Aleksandra were surprised but for different reasons. Aleksandra nodded understandingly "...Be safe or I will freeze your дупе!" She shouted as she took off and flew off. Rukia prevented Byakuya from going after "Stop nii-sama...please listen…!"
Byakuya paused and narrowed his eyes in anger, but he lowered his Zanpakutō after a few tense moments. Rukia released a breath of air and sat down Indian style and thought about how to begin.
Few moments later
Byakuya stood still as Rukia sat nervously; she started sweating as she wiped her forehead numerous times. Byakuya finally spoke after what seemed like indefinitely "Let me get this straight you're implicating Aizen...in some Hollow king Conspiracy?" He crossed his arms as he frowned. Rukia slowly nodded and swallowed the lump she held in her throat as it made an audible gulp. Byakuya's left eye twitched and he sighed as he released the breath he was holding. "I'm disappointed in you...Rukia...", those words hit Rukia like a frozen blade and her eyes widened and she couldn't speak. "This is why I never allowed you to be captain...I don't know what the hollows did to you either way you sealed your fate." Rukia couldn't speak as tears spilled from her eyes as her heart started to break.
She just lowered her head in shame as she sensed the approaching presence of her superior captain. "Ah Captain Kuchiki, you found…" Captain Jūshirō Ukitake blinked at his now bawing lieutenant, he turned his head to his fellow captain expecting an explanation. Byakuya sighed and crossed his arms as he spoke again. "Well...Rukia..why don't you try and explain to him what you told me?" Rukia lowered her head further in shame and wrapped herself into a ball as she started to cry some more. Jūshirō looked more and more visibly confused, and was about to speak as a massive burst of Reiatsu forced the two captains to the ground and caused the heat to rise extraordinarily.
Rukia barely could lift her head as her tears began to dry up quickly, she knew who it was. "I..Ichi.." she slowly felt herself falling to asleep as she spotted the extremely pissed off Hollow king cracking his knuckles. She felt herself being picked up as a very presence was there. "Oi..hang in there midget we ain't leaving one of our own to die." Tatsuki jokes softly as she cradles the small shinigami closely. Tatsuki looked up at Ichigio who nodded and she vanished in a burst of Sonído as a clap of thunder rang over the sky. Ichigo released his reiatsu as the two captains began to cough and slowly stand up, only for Ichigo to roar in pure anger.
He pointed at the two captains and made wild gestures as the captains looked on in confusion. Jūshirō blinked and chuckled slightly "I think he wants us to leave." He then draws his Zanpakutō, "I'm sorry Vasto Lordes is gonna have to ask you to leave this realm." He then got kicked in the back accompanied by a loud shout of "Hell no asshole!" Tatsuki then landed and barrelled and turned around to face the captains. "Tatsuki Arisawa! Native-born Arrancar ready for duty!" She shouted as she gave a two-finger salute, Ichigo just blinked and facepalm which surprised the two captains as they didn't expect Vasto Lordes to facepalm.
Jūshirō blinked {"Arrancar….what the hell is that?...and she was natural…"} His thoughts were caught off by a coughing fit. Tatsuki looked up as she drew her Zanpakutō and rested it on her shoulders haphazardly. "Yo alright? I think you're too old to be out here." She said as she rolled her head. Jūshirō stopped coughing and wiped his mouth and looked up "W..what no…" Byakuya stepped forward, obviously annoyed and faced the Vasto Lordes as he drew his blade. Jūshirō sighed and got into a fighting stance as Tatsuki looked him up and down, "I hope it wouldn't have to come to this…" He said he did notice her hollow mask remnant around her face.
"So..you're an arrancar?..I thought you guys were only legends." Tatsuki grew annoyed, "Can we just fight? God I mean Ichi is already whopping your buddies ass." as she jerked her thumb at Ichigo going toe to toe with Byakuya even without a Zanpakutō. Jūshirō's eyes widened as Tatsuki used this as a chance to attack and she swung her sword upward. Jūshirō barely had time to dodge as Tatsuki's blade clipped his hair and she brought another swing followed by another series of quick swings forcing the captain on the defense. {"Her fighting style is more of a berserker similar to Zaraki….I hope she doesn't have his sense of…."}.
This thought was cut off by Tatsuki chuckling as she increased the strength of her swings and even slamming her blade down on the roof of the building as Jūshirō barely managed to Shunpo away as the roof cracked and created dust. Jūshirō breathed heavily and was forced to use his blade to block a series of rapid kicks and punches. Ichigo meanwhile grabbed Byakuya's blade which caught him off-guard and proceeded to swing him around before launching him into a nearby skyscraper causing him to crash through it and into a billboard. Byakuya cursed as he slide on the ground and clutched his shoulder {"I think its dislocated…."}, as he felt the angry glare of the vasto lordes lording over him.
Meanwhile in El Castillo
Rukia looked out the window on the central spire, Yuzu stood next to her as the two held hands. Karin sat on the couch with a glare as Orihime rubbed her back, as Chad, and the Ishdia's also sat down opposite of them. "Ichi-nii…." Yuzu said softly, as Rukia squeezed her hand reassuringly, she knew she was in huge trouble and she couldn't go back to the soul society, not now at least. "They will be fine…" Rukia spoke however she wasn't unsure how to finish. Yuzu hugged her and rubbed her head into Rukia's white shihakushō, as she had removed her shinigami cloak to wrap it around Karin. "Oh Rukia-nee…" She said softly.
Rukia looked back out the window as distant thunder boomed and lighting arched across the sky. She felt the weight shift as Yuzu slowly started to snore and she lifted the small blonde hair girl up and noticed Karin also falling asleep. She smiled at this and looked toward Orihime. "I will tuck them in." Orihime nodded and smiled as she sipped her tea. Rukia nudged Karin who tried to resist but slowly got up and held Rukia's hand which shocked the shinigami noting the cold icy nature towards her. She never did learn what happened to their parents, she did learn from Urahara that their parents died in a car crash when they were young and how both Tatsuki and Ichigo were killed both ironically by drunken drivers.
The hollows and arrancars watched her leave, but didn't move as she had their princess and despite her being a shinigami. Their God-Princess trusted her, so they would trust her for now, until their king says otherwise. Rukia tucked in the two twins, Karin sat up and whipped her eyes, "R..hic...R..hic...Rukia-nee…" She whined softly. Rukia found herself by the raven hair girl's side as she comforted her. "It's okay...your...aneki..is here." She didn't know if they would accept her as an older sister, but she felt more a family with the Kurosaki's than with the Kuchiki clan. "Ichi...ichi-nii...loves you...I can tell...He feels you are like our okaa-san." Rukia rubbed her back, then she paused. Her eyes slowly widened and her mouth became a triangle shape as she sputtered like a broken record Dial-up sound occurs. "H..H..H..H..He LOVES ME?!" She shouted so loudly that the whole universe paused like a record. Karin laughed while crying slightly. " he loves you that's why he is fighting, he can't talk but I can feel his emotions."
