Saskue's tanto clashed against his brother's kunai, the Uchiha brother's in a fierce duel to stamp out the other. Sasuke's adaption to higher speed movement leveled the playing field to Itachi's experience and practical mastery over the dojutsu. Sasuke may have held the clear edge in raw physical power, but he knew his brother was an illusionist. He had to compete with his brother without getting pulled into any of his mind warping genjutsu, meaning no direct eye contact if it could be helped.

'Gotta keep a clear head. Gotta keep a clear head.' Sasuke thought repeatedly. If Itachi managed to pull him into another mind raping genjutsu like he'd done on… that night, he wouldn't know what to do, or what he would do.

The younger Uchiha wouldn't know, but pride swelled up in Itachi's chest at his brother's performance. Though, the man wouldn't pull any punches.

Sparks clashed from the clashing of blades, the Uchiha's matching each other swing for swing. Itachi leaned back to avoid a swing from the tanto that would have opened his throat, quickly leaning to avoid a jab from the sword aimed at his chest.

Itachi quickly got into Sasuke's defense, thrusting his kunai towards the underside of his brother's ribcage. Sasuke took one hand off the handle to grab his brother's wrist, using his other forearm to block Itachi's free hand.

Without allowing Itachi the opportunity to attack first, Sasuke threw a knee aimed for the murderer's gut, forcing Itachi to leap back to dodge.

Instinctively, Itachi's hand instantly came up to catch Sasuke's leg, the force of the roundhouse nearly knocking him off his feet. The elder Uchiha flipped the kunai in his free hand before swinging it towards Sasuke's chest. Sasuke flipped a kick that nailed Itachi under the chin, the man bursting apart into a flock of crows that reassembled on a tree branch a distance away.

Keeping the pressure on, Sasuke's hands shifted through seals before coming together for a monkey seal. Electricity sparking in his right palm, Sasuke stood straight, holding his Chidori to his side.

Itachi prepared himself, expecting Sasuke to fly at him with the Chidori, but instead, Sasuke moved to swing his hand,

"One Thousand Bird Senben!"

Itachi dropped from the top of the branch, sticking to the bottom of said branch and facing his brother as a storm of electricity formed needles tore the forest above and behind him to shreds.

Sasuke noticed his brother forming the signs to retaliate, a trio of shuriken appearing in Itachi's left hand as he brought his right hand to his mouth, 'Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Scarlet Claw!', Itachi threw the shuriken as he spewed fire onto them, turning them into flamming projectiles.

Sasuke immediately threw up his hand, sending forth a 'kiai' that sent the shuriken back at Itachi.

The Akatsuki dropped from the branch, flipping and twisting to smoothly dodge the shuriken as he touched back to ground.

'Phenomenal.' Itachi thought, staring down his brother, 'He's completely defied and exceeded my expectations of him. He's managed to put me on the defensive.'

Sasuke's eyes narrowed as Itachi smiled at him, the young man taking it as a sign that his brother didn't see him as a threat, "What is it?" he asked, "What the hell is so goddamned amusing to you Itachi?!"

"I'm curious, little brother... what is the extent to this power gained?" Itachi asked, "Is it your own hard work… or is it the poison Orochimaru put into your body?"

Sasuke's eyes widened in surprise.

"You thought I didn't notice the mark on your flesh?" Itachi asked.

"Doesn't matter." Sasuke shook his head, "I don't need Orochimaru's power to kill you."

"So far you have yet to prove it." the man said.

"Do I?" Sasuke said.

It was then Itachi heard the chirping of birds coming from behind him. Knowing better than to simply turn around, Itachi aimed to leap from the side, but his own speed was not enough.

Itachi's eyes widened as the piercing of flesh filled his ears. He looked down to see a blade of pure electricity sticking through his left shoulder. He could sense Sasuke at several feet behind him.

"So," Sasuke said, voice filled with venom, "before I drag this blade from your left shoulder to your right thigh, I have a question." Sasuke took the lack of response as his cue to ask, "Who else has it, the Mangekyou Sharingan?"

Itachi's head turned to the left, "How could that be so important as to avoid a vital spot."

"Don't take me for a fool." Sasuke said, "I know even you couldn't bring down the entire police force on your own. Now tell me, who helped you, so I can kill them as well."

The second Itachi opened his mouth, his eyes noticed something from his peripherals.

To Sasuke's frustration, Itachi's form faded away, a sign that this was an illusion, "Damn." Sasuke accepted he'd been had, "Another parlour tri-"

A hard kick sent the young man sailing several feet across the forest, clearing him of a massive ball of wind crashing into the ground like a meteorite.

Sasuke, quickly shaking off his daze from the unexpected attack, looked across the crater to Itachi, who eyed him right back.

'I'd hoped to bring this story to a close today, Sasuke.' Itachi thought to himself as his brother prepared to retaliate, 'But I can't be done until I get that poison out of your body. Under these circumstances, I don't believe that's possible.'

Sasuke charged Itachi as the elder Uchiha stepped behind a tree, out of his brother's line of sight. Within the second it took to close the distance, Sasuke couldn't find any trace of Itachi.

"Damnit!" Sasuke barked, slamming his fist into a nearby tree. He looked up to the horizon, just noticing Shukaku's head touching the skies above.

Ino, Naruto, and the others stepped outside of the cave, the sound of Trunks battle with Shikaku reverberating through the area.

Neji and Shikamaru approached the group, showing wear from their earlier battles. Choji separated himself from the renegades, stepping back close with his Leaf comrades.

Kakashi fixed his hair, keeping a bunch of it over his eye to keep it covered. He walked over the river, attempting to reunite with the teens he'd accompanied.

The sounds of laughter from the depths of hell itself ripped through the air, giving everyone else pause.

"The hell is that?" Minotia asked; Naruto and Ino remembering the sounds of that creature all too well.

"Shukaku, it's awake?!" Naruto asked, the konoha ninja getting worried.

"Trunks must be dealing with him." Fu said, "We should help!"

"Trunks can handle himself, you know that good and well." Neji said, "But in the meantime, you three are to return to the village."

"Are you still on this?" Naruto asked, fists balling tightly.

Shikamaru stepped forward, "Deal was, as long as the Akatsuki are the main issue, we pal around. Now they're not."

Kakashi's hand rested close to his weapons pouch, ready to jump into action the second things turned hostile. Rock Lee and the daughter of Tien landed a short distance away from the group, they too prepared to get involved when things got out of hand.

Tenten looked back and forth between the two factions. She looked to Neji, "Look guys, they were a lot of help in dealing with this whole mess. I think, we should turn a blind-"

"Tenten, shut up." Neji said, "You aren't hiding the fact that you still think of them as allies. Stay out of this."

"If you wanna go for round two," Naruto said, irises turning red, "I'm game."

The veins in Neji's eyes swelled as Shikamaru took a step back, Choji getting into a battle stance for what was to come.

Before the three could make a move, a blue and black blur phased in front of them, the teens of Team Z quickly realizing it was Sasuke. The Uchiha's Sharingan was shining bright, Sasuke using a genjutsu to instantly knock out the three men.

"Oh… wow, thanks Sasuke." Ino said, not expecting that of him.

"Save your thanks." Sasuke said, "I'm over this mission. My goal was to kill Itachi. Couldn't give two shit out of a rats ass about Gaara or Danzo."

"What does Danzo want with Gaara?" Kakashi asked, this question gaining the other's attention, "There's no way he could know the Akatsuki were making a move on him, unless he already had eyes on the Hidden Sand."

Sasuke didn't turn to his old sensei, "I'm pretty sure Danzo still holds a grudge over the Sand's invasion three years ago… because he actually wanted me to kill Gaara."

Naruto's eyes narrowed, "Are you?"

Sasuke passed Naruto a side eye, "Weren't you listening, idiot? I only came here to kill Itachi." he faced back, "Since that'll be put on hold, I'll be taking my leave." he grabbed Shikamaru and slung the unconscious nin over his shoulder, before grabbing Choji by the back of his collar, "Give Sakura my regards." he said before he shushined out in spark of electricity.

Tenten grabbed Neji, turning back to the others, "Don't take what they do personally. They just miss you is all. A lot of us in the village do."

Ino thought back to her parents, her mood dropping.

"See ya' around guys!" Tenten said before she vanished as well.

Naruto turned to Minotia, noticing where the mohawked alien's eyes were. He grinned before giving him a playful shove, "You like her?"

"What? Oh, uh, no…" the swordsman blushed.

"You can't lie to me dude," Naruto prodded, "you were totally staring at her a-"

"Naruto!" Ino and Fu shouted at him.

"Protip," Kakashi said, "look with peripherals, be patient with execution."

"Kakashi!"

Trunks flew at Shukaku, the Tanuki firing a wave of wind from his gullet. The son of Vegeta flew against the wind, his eyes widening when he saw the clumps of sand pushing after him like cannonballs.

His body flickered as he dodged, closing the distance between him and his target. The half-saiyan pulled his sword as Shukaku's hand came at him from the side, intending to grab him and crush him.

Trunks phased out, turning into a blue and lavender blur that carved its way up Shukaku's arm all the way to its elbow. The demi-saiyan appeared atop Shukaku's head, the tanuki's arm suddenly bursting apart into a massive shower of sand.

"Awwwwww! Come on!" Shukaku cried, "That was my killing hand!"

Ignoring the beast, Trunks instead looked atop Shukaku's head for Gaara. He remembered how Naruto woke the redhead up, and that was now his goal.

Only problem, now he couldn't see where Gaara was.

"What, you thought I'd make it easy for ya'!" Shukaku laughed as he picked up on Trunks plan. To Trunks surprise, several mounds of sand began forming and taking shape around Trunks.

They quickly turned out to be smaller versions of Shukaku himself.

Trunks cursed before springing into action again, slicing away, punching, and blasting at the raccoons that viciously mobbed him with the goal of mauling and rending his flesh with their teeth and claws

Temari watched from the skies as she held onto Bardock's back, "Don't kill Gaara!" she shouted right next to Bardock's ear, much to the elder saiyan's annoyance.

The demi-saiyan in battle could hear Temari loud and clear, and that was his main obstacle. He could wipe this raccoon out easily with a massive ki blast, but it was saving Gaara's life that was the challenge.

Trunks grunted as he fired a ki blast at point blank, turning one of the mini-shukaku's into a glass statue, before whipping a roundhouse that burst it into shards. Another one from behind turned its hand into a sword that it tried to gut Trunks with, only for him to get low fast and drive a knee into its torso, turning it into grains. He had to keep moving to lessen the risk of Shukaku ensnaring him with sand.

"Urgh, nothing's ever simple." Trunks groaned, stopping a punch from a tanuki cold with just his bare hand. To the teen's shock, the grains simply latched onto Trunks hand, attempting to ensnare and trap him. Reacting fast, Trunks uppercutted the raccoon's head off with his free hand.

"I wonder where blondie is," Shukaku asked himself, "maybe after I rip you up, I'll pay him a visit next!"

Trunks had to ignore it, 'Come on, Trunks... think.' he thought to himself, 'This thing can't survive without Gaara… meaning he'll be protected…' an idea came to him, but it wasn't one he was fond of, 'Good thing you have a big mouth!'

Trunks shot up into the air, high above Shukaku, "Oh no ya' don't!" Shukaku's mouth opened wide, a blue and purple orb of pure chakra gathering and condensing before the half-saiyan's eyes.

'Not good.' Trunks said, feeling for the energy output of the attack, 'Something like that could do some serious damage.'

Trunks held his right hand to his side, an orange orb of ki gathering in his palm.

Bardock and Temari watched as the One Tail engulfed the blue orb, before it hocked back its throat to spit a roaring beam of energy right for Trunks in the sky.

"Heat Phalanx!" Trunks shouted as he threw the orb of energy at the One-Tails beast bomb. The energy collided with a crack of thunder before quickly leveling into a stalemate of an energy struggle.

The brightness of the attacks darkened the area.

Bardock's eyes widened when he saw the energy orb fluctuate, a sign of it becoming unstable, "Hang on kid!" he said as he flew back to get Temari out of harm's way.

The energy attacks detonated, sending forth a violent explosion and shockwave that bent every tree for over a mile.

Knowing it didn't get Trunks, the saiyan still hanging in the air with a slight heave to his breath, Shukaku intended to follow up. It opened its mouth to fire an air bullet, Trunks immediately responding in kind with a shot of a ki blast that detonated the attack before it could exit the creatures throat. The combined blasts destroyed the creature's entire muzzle.

Like a meteor, Trunks shot himself down Shukaku's open maw, having gained access to his inner body.

The kaiju sized raccoon's eyes widened, "Oh… that's not good." its hand went to his chest, before a blue ball of flame burst out of his back, shooting for the trees of the forest below.

Trunks hit the ground hard, before throwing the Shukaku possessed Gaara across a river bank. Behind him, the massive body of sand that was Shukaku dissolved into a massive dune.

Not giving the possessed Kazekage time to reform a new body, Trunks straddle Gaara, before grabbing him by his collar,

"Wake!" Trunks punched Gaara in the face,

"Ow!"

"The!" Another punch.

"Ow!"

"Hell!" Punch.

"Ow!"

"Up!" Trunks pulled his sword and held it to Gaara's neck, the Shukaku's starred eyes glaring back at him mockingly.

"Quit bluffing!" Shukaku cackled, "You wouldn't kill this kid, you don't have the balls!"

Trunks pushed the tip to Gaara's neck, "Wanna bet?" he said, wiping the smirk off Shukaku's face. He pushed the tip hard enough to Gaara's neck to draw blood, "Me and him aren't friends, you know." Trunks growled.

Shukaku grumbled, before he faded back into Gaara's subconscious, the Kazekage's eyes changing back from black and gold stars, to Gaara's usual teal.

Trunks turned to the sound of feet touching the ground, noticing Bardock having set Temari down on the ground.

The young woman ran up, grabbing her brother and holding him, "Is… is he gonna be okay?"

Before Trunks could answer her, he heard several other footsteps touch down behind him. He saw it was his friends, the lot of them with an expression of worry on their features.

He turned back to Temari. Taking a deep breath to calm his blood and ease his adrenaline filled body, Trunks sheathed his sword, "I won't lie to you." he said, Temari's heart sinking, "These wounds, what the Akatsuki have taken from him so far, he's not in good shape." he looked her in the eye, "I'm not sure he'd survive the trip back to the village for treatment."

Temari's lip trembled.

"No…" Fu gasped weakly, "The senzu beans," she turned to Naruto, "we… didn't we bring any?"

Naruto growled in frustration, "Shit, we left them behind with Karin." he punched a hole into a tree, "Damnit!"

"Well then," Ino said, gaining the other's attention and playfully pushing past Trunks, "it's a good thing you guys brought me."

The blonde kneeled down next to Gaara, placing both hands to his chest. Everyone watched in anticipation for several minutes, their worries somewhat sating as the holes littering Gaara's body sealed.

After almost 20 minutes of waiting, still nobody was ready to jump for joy.

Ino did what she could, and stood by Trunks as they waited for a response.

Gaara's eyes opened, the redhead taking a deep breath.

Tears of joy leaked from Temari's eyes as she hugged her loved one, Naruto and Fu cheering and hugging as Kakashi sighed in relief.

"Oh my God, Gaara, I'm so glad you're okay." Temari said, Gaara looking around at the people there to greet him,

"Kankuro… how, where…"

"Don't worry." Ino said, calming him before he could work himself up, "He's in really good hands."

"Hm…" Gaara grunted. He looked to Trunks, "No offense… I hadn't hoped to see you again."

Trunks smirked, "Well, last we met I almost stuck a sword through your face... so, none taken."

Gaara looked to his jailer brother and sister, "Naruto… Fu… I wouldn't expect-."

"Hey," Naruto held up a hand, "We promised we wouldn't let anything happen to one of our own. Keep the thanks."

Gaara couldn't hide the small smile on his face. He got back up to his feet, "Well then, I think we should go home."

"Agreed," Kakashi said, offering the Kazekage a lift.

Trunks turned to Ino, "Why are you slimy?"

Ino turned to him with a mock hurt look, "You mean I don't look sexy like this?" she asked him, throwing Trunks off guard, "Kidding!" she laughed, "Just know lizards are disgusting creatures." she mumbled as she flew off.

Before Trunks could follow, Temari nudged his arm, "Mind giving me a lift?" she folded her arms and spoke nonchalantly, "You don't have to, but you know, it's like, a day walk for me and a few minute flight for you."

Trunks chuckled, "Sure, why not."

Naruto turned to Lee and Tavi, the Uzumaki noticing something off with the bluenette, "Hey, where's the uh…" he tapped at his hair.

Shinhan raised an eyebrow in question, "What do you me-" she reached up at her hair, her eyes widening in shock, "Oh my God!" her red scarf was gone. She started panicking, realizing she must have lost it in the fight with her clone, "No… no no no, mom!"

Lee tapped her on the shoulder, the bushy browed teenager presenting a red cloth in his hand, "I was curious when you'd notice." he said with a smile.

With a bashful smile, she took it from him.

Kankuro sat up in his hospital bed, feeling fresh as a daisy. He shook his head, freeing himself of the grogginess. He looked to Sakura and Karin, who were cleaning up the excess from their work on him, "Appreciate it."

"Yup." Karin said nonchalantly as she left the room, voice holding a slight tone of irritation as she carried out a bucket full of water and poison.

Kankuro turned to Sakura, watching as she disposed of his bandages before washing her hands, "You think they got him back?"

Sakura turned to him, "Uh, you do know who they have with them, right? Yeah, I think Gaara's gonna be just fine."

"All do respect," Kankuro started, choosing his words carefully, "but I'm not confident Trunks has Gaara's safety as his priority. They didn't exactly part on friendly terms last time they met. Way I see it, Trunks would be more concerned about stopping the Akatsuki, than saving Gaara."

Haruno dried her hands, "Trunks is ruthless side, yeah, but he loves life. Maybe him and Gaara won't be inviting each other to their birthday parties anytime soon, but Trunks doesn't have it in himself to let someone in danger die. When you get to know him, he's one of the most pure individuals you'd ever meet. That's a promise."

Kankuro didn't seem too convinced, so he settled on a, "We'll see."

"Oh my god!" Karin shouted from out in the hallway. Sakura ran out of the room, Kankuro hopping out of bed and following her with a slight stumble.

Sakura gasped when she saw what the girl was staring at. It was her friends coming down the hallway, Gaara and Trunks now among them.

Karin ran down the hall to greet the half-saiyan, the redhead practically drooling as she caught the teen off guard, "Trunks, you're back! Oh my God, you're so tall!" she grabbed a fistfull of his hair, "Oh my God, your hair, it's so long!" she poked his arm, "Oh my God, you got so jacked!"

Trunks sighed, before wearing a forced smile, "Missed you too Karin."

A hand grabbed Karin by her shoulder, before throwing her screaming to the opposite end of the hallway.

Trunks' smile turned genuine when he saw who it was, "Long time no see, stranger." he said, before Sakura quickly caught him in a hug.

Gaara and Temari passed them by and met with Kankuro, "Nice to see you okay baby brother." the puppet master said, putting a hand to Gaara's shoulder and giving it a gentle shake.

"Likewise." the jinchuriki said, voice sad as he realized the damage to his village and the casualties suffered, "I owe the people of this village an apology. I failed them."

"You did what you could, Gaara." Temari said, "Don't tear yourself down over this."

"That's right." Kakashi said, giving the young Kage his sympathies, "It's just as much a village's job to protect its Kage as it is a Kage's job to protect their village. Everyone did what they could under the circumstances."

Kankuro looked to Trunks, the saiyan approaching with his friends. In all honesty, Trunks still felt a bit awkward around the sand-siblings, "Uh, hi." Trunks said with a sheepish smile.

"Hey." Kankuro said, a small twitch in his eye.

"Glad to know there's no hard feelings about the past." the saiyan said with a small laugh.

Kankuro shrugged, "I would say you owed me a puppet," he turned to his brother, "but seeing as you brought Gaara back, I'd say we're about even. Did you guys manage to take down the two of'em?"

"Not both, one of them got away, unfortunately." Trunks admitted, "But, if it was poison that took you out, I think I got the one that did it."

Kankuro's eyes widened in surprise, "The puppet? You serious?"

"Yup." Trunks smirked, "Cut the bastard up myself."

Kankuro couldn't hide that he was impressed, "Damn. Well, call us less than even then. You need anything, ask."

"No problem." Trunks said, "Appreciate it, Kankuro."

Gaara cleared his throat to grab the group's attention, "You've had a long day, I'm sure you're all tired. You're welcome to stay here at the village for the evening to rest up."

Sakura turned to the others, "If you guys don't mind, me and Karin were still working on some of the critically injured here in the village. I'd like to stick around for just a little while to help."

The teens looked to one another, everyone shrugging, "Sounds good to me." Naruto said, "I can send a messenger toad back home so everyone knows we're okay."

"We're in." Shinhan said.

Trunks looked to Bardock, the elder saiyan still feeling the effects of his earlier migraine.

"Why not." The half-saiyan nodded, "We'll stick around."

Trunks stood on a tall building that overlooked much of the Sand Village, the saiyan personally unable to sleep despite the lack of sleep he'd gotten on the flight back to Earth.

He looked over the village and into the horizon, the setting sun turning the skies a mixture of orange and blue. He ignored the lovely sight. He also ignored the cooling evening air on his skin.

All he could think about, were two people… if they could be called that. These things that'd killed his master, killed his father, and turned his home world into a hellhole. These things that'd managed to follow him here, and turn this world upside down with the aim of turning it into the same wasteland his was.

Those Androids... they were out there. Somewhere out there people were dying at their hands. He was strong enough to put a stop to them once and for all, he was certain of this.

Now, it was only a matter of finding them…

"Trunks Briefs…"

Trunks was ripped out of his thoughts by a withered old voice. He turned to see Temari and another ancient looking woman alongside her.

The elder approached him, the saiyan caught off guard. Sensing this, the woman gave him a bow, "I'd heard about you, and what you've done... bringing Sasori to justice."

"Oh," Trunks smiled, thinking the woman was just here to thank him, "it was nothing. He was just the psychotic foot soldier to an evil organization. I stopped him the best way I saw fit."

"He was also my grandson." the woman said, Trunks eyes widening at the revelation.

"Oh… I'm sorry, I-"

The woman raised a hand, "Think nothing of it. The boy lost himself over five decades ago. A part of me mourns him, a big part of me blames myself for what he turned into. I know that the ending he got, was the only one possible." she turned away from him, "Thank you." she said as she left the rooftop, leaving Trunks and Temari alone.

Temari cleared her throat, before leaning against the rooftop's railing and folding her arms, "I just wanted to say thanks… personally, for helping with my brother and all."

Trunks shrugged, "It wasn't an issue. I'm not gonna let evil bastards kidnap people and take over the world if I can stop it."

The young woman nodded, "I also wanted to say, no hard feelings about what went down three years ago. We were at war and if you still happen to have a problem with that... tough shit. You shouldn't just pop into someone else's universe and become a ninja." she turned her nose up at him.

At this Trunks nearly laughed out loud, "Whoahoooo, oh okay, now hold on. Being a ninja was something I kinda got roped into. It was either I put on a Leaf Headband or my mom didn't get the help she needed."

"Ya still coulda backed out after the fact." Temari shrugged, "Which meant you were fair game."

"Hm," Trunks folded his arms, "you aren't wrong." the two stood in silence for a minute, "About that spat three years ago," Trunks broke the silence, "Believe it or not, I should actually be thanking you." he took the questionable look Temari passed him to continue, "That cheap move you and your brother pulled, you know, with the poison, it's actually worked to my benefit over the years."

"How so?" Temari asked.

"It's in my blood to adapt." Trunks said, "Getting poisoned like that, just worked up my resistance to poison and other toxins. So good luck trying that again."

"Hm… well you're welcome." Temari said, "And just so you know, there is no cheap in a fight. Either you win or you lose. And technically, we won."

"Fair." Trunks nodded, with a slight chuckle.

The blonde tried as hard as she could to act nonchalant about what he asked next, "I'm curious, that… flying technique, is it hard to learn?"

"Not really." Trunks said, having a very good idea of where Temari was going with this, "Depends on the person."

"Are you a good teacher?" Temari asked.

"I think so." Trunks asked, amused at how she beat around the bush.

Temari shook her head, "I don't believe you. I think… you're not that good of a teacher."

"That so?" The son of Vegeta asked with his father's smirk, "That's how you really feel?"

"That's exactly how I feel." Temari said, "I think, you'd have to prove me wrong…" she passed him a side glance, "Would you by chance be willing to?"

Trunks looked up as he thought… for several minutes. Finally, he looked at her before he settled on, "Nah, I don't think I will."

When he saw the twitch in Temari's eye, and the way she tried getting herself together, Trunks snickered, "Just kidding!"

A/N: And that's that ladies and gentlemen. I'm now in my final semester of college, so I'll be able to upload more frequently for the foreseeable future. But, I THINK I'll be settling for chapter's with less word count (think 2-3-4,000 word range) than the 8-9-10,000 word long chapter's I've been doing to get chapter's out faster.

How's that sound?

Let me know your thoughts though, I love to hear what you like and what you think I should improve on.
