A smaller werewolf, in human form walked by Rahzia's side, he was thinner and a little shorter than Rahzia, but still equally muscular and defined. This smaller werewolf was still a menacing brute and no doubt a force to be reckoned with. He was a pale pink, sunlight not being sought after by this wolf that craved the light of the moon. He had green sleepless eyes and a head of unkempt brown hair.
.
Perched high above the streets, Rigal crouched down, his eyes narrowing as he kept his eyes on the unsuspecting werewolves below. "Ah, it looks as if we've found our prey!" stated Rigal, who did look forward to filling them both with silver. As the two werewolves below hurried through the hustle and bustle. Even though the vampire didn't quite know the purpose nor business these two werewolves were on.
"That we do." said Nathaniel.
"But it's just two… this is no pack, where are the others?" questioned Selene, as she scanned the area with a true keen eye, looking out for further members of the wolf-pack, hoping none would elude them.
"You're right, there could be more of them nearby… For now at least we'll stay back... maintain their positions and monitor their actions… Let's just see what they are up to!" Rigal here signalling to hold back.
"As you wish, Rigal." stated Selene, her hand moving away for a second from her weapon.
.
The werewolves were out that night, on their own hunt. Moving through the streets of the vast city with purpose, both unaware of the Death Dealers. The two werewolves had taken risks, being out in the open, freely walking amongst humans and despite their more human clothes they stood out.
Either werewolf seemed to be overly bothered by the torrential downpour that night, not one shiver of cold that autumn night. Their thicker skin offering just that added protection from such elements. There step walking through large puddles.
.
The three vampires travelled through the city, trailing after werewolves with supernatural ease and grace, as this night now were escaping their end. Rigal saw that the two werewolves had turned east, and with no further blink the vampire was swiftly now heading east, flashing a single hand signal to his companions to follow his lead.
.
The night's heavy rain showed no signs of letting up, as it plated down on the rooftops of the cityscape, the bitter wind howling carried a winter's chill to the evening.
.
Standing now high over the city on a thin rooftop ledge, Selene did not let the rain and wind bother her, she maintained her skate-out of these two werewolves. An angry hiss left her lips, as even in human form these werewolves filled her veins with true hatred and revulsion.
She looked over at the city clock tower and saw that it was half-past ten, the sun had been down for hours, the night handing the city over to beings like vampires and werewolves.
Soon though, the female vampire felt as if she couldn't hold back any longer, as she gazed grimly down upon them the dealer knew that they must act fast before they lose the element of surprise. Selene here clenching her fists at the thought of losing this battle; wondering to herself. 'What foul purpose have these two werewolves been sent on?' her conclusion, with a true hatred in her eyes. 'It doesn't matter, all beasts must fall to our kin.'
Selene glanced over to Rigal, and caught his turquoise eyes that shimmered in the evening's moonlight, and her beating heart was eased when he gave the order to go in for the attack on the werewolves. "We shall not be denied... werewolf blood shall be spilt this night!"
A slight smile of satisfaction crossed her lips, as she heard his call to act. Selene truly hoped that this hunt would go well, that these werewolves, who braved to walk the city streets in the open, would fall at their hands.
.
Selene knew she didn't need to look across at Nathaniel, knowing that on Rigal's mark the third vampire, as any other death dealer, would be equally ready to act. She turned her gaze downward, stepped confidently leapt now from the ledge, defying the laws of gravity. This defying act would have no doubt ended the life of any mortal.
The drop being a full five-story building, and as Selene was nearing the street below she prepared herself to land, landing with nimble ease.
As she successfully landed on the rain-swept street below, Selene with true grace elegantly walked briskly away, as if she had only taken one clear step.
The people around her were all too busy in their own life's and worlds to come to notice this pretty unnatural feat.
.
All her life, Selene has been told of her savour, the man who came to stop her screams as she faced mortal terror. Of the man who forced the beasts away, with his sharp teeth, immense power and unmatching might. Viktor, a vampire lord, who now rests below the house of Tordihnă, picking her up and walking away from the burning home. Images of this event would often flash before her mind's eyes.
That was a different time, she was a mortal, a woman on the true verge of womanhood, his teeth biting down into her neck, Viktor freely giving her his blood to save her from passing, that day her family died, but on that same day she lived, lived forever.
.
They now enter down into a subway, walking down the flight of stairs with great stride, the those around them went about their life's unaware what these two truly were. Their clothes wet, a drop of water rolling down Rahzia's cheek.
.
Rigal acknowledged his fellow vampire's presence with a mere nod of his head, as he now took the stairs down into the subway. With Nathaniel taking the flank, the trio of silver eyed killers followed their prey.
