Authoress Note: Welcome to Chapter 4 of Jaded. Thank you to those who kept up with this story. I promise that this will get better over time. It's just taking a little bit to get everything set up for this story and trying to get Rose into place in the world of Pirates of The Caribbean. I hope that you enjoy this next chapter. Without further ado Chapter 4 of Jaded.

Chapter 4

A group of soldiers marched by the crates, boardwalks, and the boats upside down on the shore. Once they passed one of the upside down boats raised up revealing 3 sets of legs. The boat walked down to the water's edge and into the water.

Rose, Jack and Will walked beneath the upside down rowboat with a nice pocket of air for them to breathe. They had water up to their waists as they walked.

Rose took a breath as her dress heavily weighed her down as she walked.

"This is either madness, or brilliance." Will said as they carefully walked across the sea floor.

"It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide." Jack said with a roll of his eyes.

"Will at least he came up with a plan." Rose said as she looked over at the man that she was behind.

Jack looked back and saw the scowl on Rose's face. He could tell that this beauty was rather upset with Will or someone else. "I like her." Jack pointed out with a cheeky grin.

Rose's brow raised as she watched Will trying to shake something loose from his leg. "Will what…"

Will shook his leg a viscous shake, failing to free the trap from his leg.

"We have to keep going." Rose said as they continued to walk across the ocean floor.

Gillette supervised the sailors as they swabbed the deck and mended the sails along with doing what they were supposed to do.

Jack, Will, and Rose jumped over the rail. Jack brandishing a pistol and Will with his sword.

"Everybody stay calm. We're taking over the ship!"

"Aye! Avast!"

Rose let out a breath as she grabbed a dagger from Will's belt as Jack gave him a look of disbelief.

The sailors looked at them and burst ot laughing.

Gillette stepped forward looking at them. "This ship cannot be crewed by two men. You'll never make it out of the bay."

"Son," Jack pointed his pistol at Gillette's nose. "I'm Captain Jack Sparrow." He cocked the gun. "Savvy?"

Rose swallowed the lump in her throat hoping that they weren't going to have to kill anyone that she knew. She knew that she was going against every single code that she had.

Jack leaned on the wheel relaxed.

Will looked back concerned. "Here they come."

Jack smiled knowing that everything was coming into place.

Rose figited a little dressed in something much more appropriate to wear instead of a soaked gown. She watched as the Interceptor gained quickly on them.

Once the Interceptor was on them they quickly moved into action to get on board the interceptor as Norrington and his men got onto the Dauntless.

"Search every cabin, every hold, down to the bilges!" Norrington shouted as he came across the gangplank.

Jack, Will and Rose swung onto the Interceptor easily and unseen. They cut the ropes to the grappling hooks the binded the two ships together and the ship starts to drift apart from one another.

"Sailors! Back to the Interceptor! Now!"

Rose watched as one brave sailor tried to swing across but ended up in the water with a big splash.

Jack waved to Norrington. "Thank you, Commodore, for getting us ready to make way! We'd 've had a hard time of it by ourselves!"

"Set top sails and clear up this mess."

"With the wind a quarter astern we won't catch them - -"

"I don't need to catch them, just get them in range of the long nines."

"Hands, come about. Run out the guns! We're to fire on our own ship, sir?"

Rose looked over at Norrington and saw the look on his face when he saw her onboard.

"I'd rather see her at the bottom of the ocean than in the hands of a pirate." His eyes went to Rose. "ROSE!"

Rose looked down her heart pounding in her chest as she moved back away from the edge of the ship as they were well on their way leaving him behind.

Will looked over at Rose and came over to her putting his hand on her shoulder. "Rose?"

Rose looked over at Will. "Mr. Turner…"

"You care about him, do you not…"

"Perhaps more than my sister ever could…" She said softly. "But he fancied my sister more than he ever could me…"

Will shook his head. "He's blinded by Elizabeth's beauty…"

"Most gentlemen are…"

"Miss Swann, you have suitors as well…"

Rose shook her head as she moved away. "We have work to do, to save my sister from a worse fate than death… whatever those pirates want with her… I want to get even with them…" She wrapped her arms around herself. She hated the fact that she was in male clothing instead of her gown. "I will save her… with James' love for Elizabeth…"

"Rose... He cares for you…" Will said softly.

Rose shook her head moving towards the door of the captain's corridors. "No, Mr. Turner, that's just it. He doesn't care… he only cares for Elizabeth." She went inside of the corridors and closed the door taking a shaky breath.

Will took a soft breath knowing that this was hard for Rose to know her sister was out there in danger and that the Commodore's feelings for Elizabeth hurt her more than what she had let on.

Jack looked over at Will. "She's certainly a bundle of laughs." He said, shaking his head.

Will didn't reply to what Jack had said.
