Hello Everyone! Author Note here! The story is beginning to dive into gory territory so if you hate blood, puke, and pus you know common, common things in this type of storyline or movies/tv shows. With that being said the rating may change the further we go along so expect things is all I'm saying.
Screams flooded the school as many different types of students and teachers flooded the halls killing one another to get to the nearest exit. "You have to be kidding me!" Parker shouted dragging the sisters away from harm tucking them into a small pocket separating them from the hall as they watched the flood of third-years mingling into second-year to get out of the school. Sayuri gasped watching a student fall to the ground and let out screams of pain as student after student stomped onto them. "Oh god..."Sayuri turned away from the horrid sight looking into the painted wall as Saki buried her face into Parker's chest.
"Jesus Christ this is insane" Parker mumbled his eyes scanning each person who even laid a hand on a fellow student in a negative way. He pulled Saki in closer and shut his eyes listening as the thundering sounds of shoes slowly died away leaving silence and gargled sounds which only came from students killed in the stampede trying to cling to what little life they had. Parker pulled his phone out and hurriedly typed but flinched seeing his message wouldn't even send. "N-No service..."His eyes widen seeing as he had no way of contacting his brother let alone the police panic seeped up but he took a deep breath and decided to have a brave face so the sisters didn't overwhelm themselves even more than they are.
"Come on we should try and get out of here as well..." Parker mumbled softly motioning for them to ignore the dead people currently around them and get to the staircase. Saki was a bit hesitant but followed reluctantly. Saki knew Parker would never lead her to some danger but her gut was knotting up as her footsteps seemed slow. "What's wrong Saki?" Sayuri asked making Parker stop in front of the doorway leading to the staircase going downstairs. "I don't think we should go down there something is telling me it's not a good idea..."She saw the confusion cross Parker's face as he walked to her. "It's okay Saki w-we just have to find my brother and we can hold up at the house until your parents get home..." He said making Saki frown a bit but before she could explain the sound of heavy footsteps echoed the hall making Parker tuck the sisters behind them. Luckily it wasn't a freak but a fellow student who quickly kicked the door holder and slammed it shut quickly to use the tie of his uniform to make it hard to open.
"W-Who are you?!" Sayuri shouted not trusting any student right now considering her fellow classmates killed one another just to escape. The new face looked up at the small group in surprise. Parker made mental note of that but brushed it away and approached him. "Parker Stanford and these people here are Saki and Sayuri Kuro."He said trying to calm the tension from the man whose grey eyes scanned each person. "Um, Kazuhisa Shimazu...I um sorry" He said placing his large hands on his hips which made Saki timidly walk up. "Y-You look out of breath...W-What is happening down there?" She asked her voice quiet which is surprising that the man heard it.
"A fucking bloodbath..." He ran his hands through his spikey brown hair as he tried to not think much about it but he knew he would have to explain what he saw. "I um I was running with the stampede that came through here because my younger brother is a first-year and wanted to make sure he is okay." He sighed rubbing his face now as Parker bit his nail knowing the worry Kazuhisa might be feeling.
"Before I could even get to his class a horde of freaks busted down the door and began to kill the whole first second and third years...A-And I don't know if my brother is alive or not anymore!" He snarled feeling angry now but seeing Saki flinch he calmed down not wanting to freak her away since she was quite beautiful. "Well you can come with us we are going down there," Parker said making Kazuhisa look at him like he was crazy. "I don't think so okay...There is no way out if you go that way." He said pointing to the door he tied down making Parker look over Kazuhisa's shoulder to the door and back to him. "Okay, then what do you suggest?" He watched as Kazuhisa rubbed his chin grazing the x scar on his chin before snapping his fingers. "My two older brothers would most likely be upstairs on the roof or the third year floor so I say we meet up with them and plan out an escape yeah?" He asked with a shrug.
Parker sighed in thought; on one hand he rather just leave reunite with Peter and get the hell out of dodge with Saki and Sayuri but on the other hand, if the whole first floor is swarmed with Them then there is no way out currently. "Come on Peter I rather not chance it so early let's gather our thoughts and form out a plan!" Sayuri finally broke the silence making everyone look at her making her sigh obviously frustrated from everything happening and the bodies of dead classmates around them making her feel no better. "It would make me feel a whole lot better knowing what we are doing than going in blind...Besides who knows where Peter is right now! He could be on his way here so let's just hold off first okay?" Sayuri said watching the two men look at one another and coming to an agreement.
"Let's hurry on up to the third floor then see if we can find your brothers," Parker said making Kazuhisa smirk and nod as the four of them turned going to the staircase leading upstairs. Not realizing that the tie that Kazuhisa tied was slowly slipping undone.
-Third Year Floor-
"What the actual fuck was that" Yua groaned feeling her back getting sore due to some dick pushing her out his way luckily Niko helped her up before she was stepped on by anyone else. Sakura sat with a busted lip sitting quietly by the window watching the smoke rise from almost every building as her eyes seemed glazed over not listening to whatever Niko and Dima were even saying. "Hey, you alright Sakura?" Yua asked making the boys glance over at her as Sakura looked at the three of them and gave a weak smile. "I-I'm fine just hurting a bit...That's all..." She turned back to the window missing the pained look on Dima's face knowing Sakura was more than hurting sighing he crossed his arms to think more as Yua moved to sit next to Sakura. The four were quiet until the door slid open as their friend Shion walked in holding water bottles in their hands. "I went and got these from the classes nearby I'm sure we will end up needing this anyway" Shion shrugged handing one to each person gaining a small thank you or a silent nod.
"You know I really didn't expect to be in this kind of situation when I missed class today," Shion said taking a swig of their water looking at Sakura she didn't really know her all that well but knew her and Dima had something going on so in their books Sakura was okay. "You alright? How's the lip doing?" They asked making Sakura glance at Shion and give a small and weak smile. "It's not hurting anymore so that's good I guess!" She said trying to seem positive but nothing was working as she just felt like everything she ate at lunch was gonna come up and never stop. Shion watched her movements and immediately pinpointed something was off with her but they had a feeling Sakura herself doesn't even know what is really wrong.
"You know if it wasn't for Yua and Niko we probably would be in the stampede or worse dead..."Dima said crossing his arms as sat on his desk humming as he rubbed his chin in thought. Niko nodded silently stunned by the events leading up to this moment.
-Outdoor Stairway 5 minutes before Outbreak-
"You know Yua ... I think you should come over more just you...Without inviting Sakura" Niko mumbled his face not showing his real emotions which Yua chuckled seeing him trying to be so serious. Yua sighed knowing Nikolai Patenko had a small crush on her but Yua wasn't sure how she truly felt she was afraid to open herself but she chuckled pushing the subject away. "You know Sakura never comes over and if she does she is always up in Dima room regardless." She shrugged messing with the end of her hair.
Niko looked over to Yua seeing her beginning to close herself off but before he can say anything Yua chuckled making him perk up. "What?" He mumbled softly sipping his drink looking to where Yuas gaze was on seeing a man walking from the Kendo club. "Is that your Edward Cullen?" He asked making Yua stifle a laugh and shake her head. "No, it's not do you remember that playboy that one girl in class was crying about; I think his name was something like Toshihisa but anyway, that guy down there is apparently his older brother Yoshihisa," Yua explained making Niko look closer seeing the man he noticed that he had a bit of brown-colored skin but can easily be mistaken as white from a distance and that his curly black hair was hanging a bit down the back of his neck.
"Apparently there are four brothers and he is the oldest and I think Toshi is like the third oldest," Yua said watching him walk into the school and out of their line of sight. "You seem to know so much about them should I be worried about your fascination," Niko said resting his chin on his hand seeing Yua giggle which made the corner of his lip turn into a smile but he quickly wiped it away. "No it's best to keep up with students you see more than once never know when one can be a friend or more." She chuckled about to leave the stairway and go closer to her next class but Niko seemed to be stilled which Yua noticed.
"You alright Niko?" She asked but no reply came from him making her hum in wonder as she looked over to the gate where his eyes seemed to peer at. "H-Holy f-fuck it's a riot?" Yua said but Niko shook his head gulping. "Something is off with that riot look below them...There is blood" He mumbled his eyes scanning the scene in front of him; Teachers were screaming at the 'riot' to leave or law enforcement was going to be called but it didn't seem to bother them the slightest it was just weird to Niko that the louder the teachers screamed how more and more showed up.
"NIKO LOOK!" Yua screamed pointing to the city that is barely seen over the wall and his eyes widened seeing smoke rise from buildings as the sound of sirens became louder and louder the closer they got but instead of stopping at the school, they drove right by not even batting an eye to the riot beginning to break through the fence. "Damn it!" An older male teacher screamed beginning to approach but before he could stop them the gate fell causing the small group of people to begin to charge at the teachers just revealing how fucked things are now. Yua could feel her stomach drop as she watched people begin to eat other people.
"Oh god!" Yua covered her mouth too stunned to move but Niko luckily snapped out of his shock seeing the freaks beginning to make their way into the school after following one of the teachers who escaped. "Come on Yua we have to find Dima!" He shouted grabbing her hand and tugging her up the stairs leading to the third-year hallway. "What was that?" Yua asked her eyes widening in fear as tears fell down her cheeks. "I don't know but whatever it is we need to find Dima and Sakura now!" Niko said not paying attention to where he is going as he ran into a person causing him to abruptly stop as Yua ran her nose into Niko's back.
"Fuck!" She hissed holding it as she groaned softly in pain seeing why Niko stopped so abruptly. Her eyes landed on a man standing in front of them pissed off. "Hey, it's Edward Cullen!" Yua gasped pointing to him making the mystery man rise his eyebrow looking down at Yua seeing her eyes were tearful and her nose was a bit more red than normal. "What's going on?" He mumbled looking between the two.
"There was a break-in at the gate and whatever got in are eating people so I'm getting my brother and his friend and we are getting the hell out of here," Niko said going to walk past him but Yua glared a bit tugging him back. "Do you wanna come with us? Just to be safe?" Yua asked the man who looked down at her and back to Niko. He let out a sigh removing his sunglasses. "I don't know if I really truly believe you but better safe than sorry." He said making Yua smile happy that he is willing to join them. Niko cleared his throat making Yua look at him. "Oh yeah sorry let's go!" The three of them walked to Dima and Sakura's classroom opening the door causing the teacher to stumble on her words looking flabbergasted at the sudden interruption.
"Excuse me but I don't think you suppose to be in here!" She shouted watching as Niko approached his brother who stood up meeting him halfway. "What's going on?" He asked his younger brother looking at Yua who looked nervous and Niko looked pale, "We had a breach in the school and whatever got in is eating people."Niko explained making Dima look at him with confusion. "Eating People? This doesn't sound believable at all bro." Dima said pulling his hand away as Niko glared getting frustrated. "But it is true Dima! People are eating people right now as we speak and making their way up here!" He screamed but before Dima could try to calm his brother the intercom sounded out as the principal sent out his warning along with the squelching sounds and screams of horror filled the speaker.
Silence surrounded them as everyone was too fearful to think rationally but it seemed what set the stampede off was the shrill scream from a student causing a mass uproar. Sakura gasped feeling her desk move flipping her backward causing her to hit her mouth on the corner of a desk causing her to groan holding her mouth as she curled up into a ball in the corner of the room. "Sakura!" Dima shouted from the opposite side of the room seeing Sakura cowering with blood falling down the corner of her mouth due to her lip busting. "D-Dima" She whined standing up as she touched her mouth hissing in pain. "Are you okay?!" He ran to her once safe as he grabbed her head softly looking at the wound with wide eyes.
"I'm fine Dima It just hurts is all." She waved him off obviously stunned by how fast things went from a normal day to a very very bad day. "Fucking asshole" Yua hissed holding her shoulder she was shoved roughly to the ground and was damn near stepped on if it wasn't for Niko quickly scooping her up and pulling her to safety. The five of them stood quietly hearing the distant screams of horror making them worried. "Oh fuck Shion! they went to the bathroom before this all happened!" Dima said making Niko look a bit surprised and worried. "I'll get them, Yua you stay here." He said running out of the classroom trying to ignore the dead students on the ground who were killed by being trampled or worse. Niko arrived at the bathroom walking inside he saw Shion standing in the mirror flipping their brown hair out of their face and sighed softly. "You know if I knew I was gonna be run over by classmates I would choose to stay home." Shion turned to Niko and smirked, "Glad to see you had common sense is Dima in class still?" Niko nodded and rubbed the back of his head.
"You okay right? No one hurt you?" He asked and Shion shook their head," No I just watched all that went down." Niko nodded watching Shion grab some paper towels and walk out the bathroom with Niko following. "So what's going on is there a reason classmates are killing one another." They asked looking at the few bodies laying on the ground. "There are people eating people." He said seeing Shion look a bit stunned. "So like bath salts?" Niko shook his head, "No not like that...I think if a person who is all flesh-eating ends up biting another they become flesh-hungry too" He explained making Shion hum in thought.
"OH so basically like the media adaption of zombies?" They asked making Niko wonder but he shrugged," Yeah but they seem different from zombies I just call them well them...or freaks," He said as they walked into the classroom, "Shion your okay!" Dima said smiling as Shion gave a brief wave. "Yeah, I'm good just a bit stunned ya know?" They said as they noticed Dima helping Sakura whose lip is bleeding and Niko moved to Naka and Yuma who were talking. "What are we gonna do?" Shion asked obviously feeling tense being in the classroom when the idea of death was only two floors below them.
"For now just chill and then we need to make some kind of plan on escaping." Dima explained which made Shion sigh, "Well if that's the case I'm gonna go find some water," They said turning on their heels and walking out of the class.
-Present Time-
"Hold on you're telling me that you want to go down there?" Naka asked arms crossed looking at Dima who in return stared him down. "Yes we need to get out of here before it gets any worse out there" Dima pointed out to the window to the chaotic city making Naka laugh at him which made everyone but Yua frown. "What's so funny?" Niko asked making Naka sigh at how dumb they could be.
"Sakura is it?" He looked to the timid girl who just nodded silently, "You been by the window almost this whole time right? How many students did you see actually get through the gate hu?" He asked which Sakura looked down with a sad look, "How many?" He asked again more forcefully trying to make a point. "Only a few!" She shouted hating to be put on the spot which Dima knew which kind of pissed him off knowing Naka was not backing off. "Okay and your point?" Shion asked with little interest as they just watch Naka sigh and shake his head in disappointment.
"Let's say if only 100 students escaped where are the other thousands of students?" He asked making everyone look at one another, "Dead most likely..."Yua mumbled and sighed, "And what's sad we don't even know the extent of what is really happening or what even those freaks are...They just stumble around attacking any straggler." She said as she looked over to the window seeing those freaks just stumbling around and bumping into walls or eating their most recent catch as the body slowly twitches signaling it's about to become part of the undead.
"Well, we can't just stay here!" Dima shouted feeling worried about his father and sister but it didn't mean he killed himself. Sighing he sat down next to Sakura who rubbed his back making him smile thankfully. "We can try to fortify the school until we can either figure out help is coming or worse that we need to risk escaping," Yua added which made Niko look at her and to everyone seeing if anyone agreed. "I think Yua is right It's best to think more rather than make impulses," Naka said seeing Dima look reluctant but ultimately agree. The sound of footsteps made the group go quiet as Niko, Dima, and Naka stood up going to the door cracking it open to see who or what was coming.
"Your brothers are third years right?" They heard and opened the door a little further Niko sees his classmate Saki and he sighs in relief knowing it's a group of living people. "It's survivors," He said opening the door making the four-stop in their tracks watching people flood out the classroom. "Hey, it's survivors!" Sayuri grinned knowing they were third years but not quite their name. "Hey, you guys okay?" Dima asked getting a small yes from each one of them; as Kazuhisa seemed to look into the classroom a bit more but just frown in disappointment.
"Do you know if a Yoshihisa, Toshihisa, or hell even Iehisa in there or even around?" He asked making Niko look to Yua who sighed leaving her desk and approaching the second oldest brother. "I saw Yoshi before all this started and he enter the school shortly before the gate came down...I'm unsure about if he is alive or not" She said and Kazuhisa tsked turning to look at the stairway leading up to the roof. "I think we should go to the roof might be able to see if any military has come maybe they have evacuations?" Parker asked which made Kazuhisa perk up,"yeah we should go maybe my brothers are up there!" He said and everyone seemed to be in agreeance a bit from wanting to leave the classroom or maybe just to see how bad it truly is.
-Outside The School-
Peter sat in Kiaria car his hands clenching the wheel as tightly as he can he didn't understand how this happened but one second he was making out with Kiaria in her car when a girl was slammed against their hood being devoured by two college professors. Now the two of them are trying to get to the school with little luck to be able to save Parker and anyone they can. "Looks like we are on our feet from this point on there is no way through," Kiaria mumbled seeing jumbled of crash cars in their way. "This shit really happened from the span we got back to your house, drove to the college and had our make-out session, and now look!" He slammed the wheel with his fist as stress began to build up. "Hey hey it's okay Master...I'm sure Parker is okay..."She said grabbing her small book bag out of the back seat and looking at Peter who just gave her a small smile.
"Thank you for everything Kiaria without you I'm not sure what I would do without you." Peter pulled her into a side hug before they shut off the car and the two stepped out into the dangerous school. "We are only a few miles from the school so let's hurry before any of those freaks find us." Kiaria tied her shoes tightly ready to run. "Ready?" She said as Peter nodded looking forward with a serious expression.
The two ran as fast as they could passing by burning building and trying to ignore the screams of help and gunshots ringing out. It was almost like they were in some nightmare but every pain in a muscle that would wake them up never happened as the two continued running they never expected a horde of undead in front of them. "Shit!" Peter hissed seeing them as they growled hearing the voice of their next meal. Turning to the two of them Kiaria gasped looking around till her eyes landed on a pharmacy not far from them. "Come on this way!" She said as she took off with Peter following her. They entered the empty pharmacy which is a surprise considering it was normally stocked. Looking around Peter ran to the back exit and saw the door was jammed from the outside and the freaks were banging on the door and window trying to get in. Kiaria watched as living people ran by and even police drove by but no one did anything with the horde. Panicking filled her veins as she looked around until her eyes landed on the title roof but one was shifted to the side leading to the vent system.
"Peter look!" She pointed up filling hope into the two of them. "Kiaria we are getting out! Here i'll go first and pull you up!" Peter quickly got onto the counter that was close and gripped the side beginning to pull himself up. Kiaria looked seeing them beginning to crack the glass meaning time was running out. "Pete hurry!" She whimpered watching him crawl in and turn around reaching down. It seemed everything was gonna be okay...How Naive...
The sound of glass shattering was like a bomb falling to the ground. Peter cried for Kiaria as the woman was forced furthur back into the store as the undead approached her. "DAMN IT KIARIA!" He was about to crawl down but he heard her voice call out,"GO GO PETER FIND PARKER!" Peter felt tears fill his eyes as he watched the undead pass his hiding spot giving him enough time to drop down and run out the store...He had to leave Kiaria...He had to leave his angel behind.
"FUCK!" He screamed running faster to the school as he tried to ignore the tears in his eyes as his last image of her was her tearful smile and her mouthing I love you.
There it is! Third chapter and with that it's time for this mini note! We are currently about to close the OC submissions we have four spots open and they won't be open until the second book. Now with that being said after the fourth or fifth chapter any oc submitted after will be OCs on the outside rather than school ocs.
