Chapter 1
"I don't think this is a good idea. Eggmans done! The war is over, there's no need to look for trouble when there isn't any." Amy says holding the hand of the blue blur. He snickers jokingly "Amy it's just a look over, to see if there really isn't anything left. I won't be gone long, it should only take a day or 2." Amy groans "Your only doing this cause you don't want to help with packing up everything and cleaning are you!" She shouts. He chuckles "Gotta go! Have fun!" He says before dashing out of the facility. Amy sighs turning to gaze at the room that needs to be packed "It'd be a lot faster with you around..." she pulls out her communicator contacting a few friends to help.
"Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it." Amy says boxing some old equipment. "No problem. I did set most of this up so i should be responsible for cleaning up my mess." Tails says unplugging and taking apart the computer and other devices. "And thank you too Silver, your telekinesis is really speeding up the process." Amy says looking up to see Silver levitating as he boxes office supplies and books "It's my pleasure, you guys have always done so much for me and helping makes me happy." Silver says happily. A loud frustrated growl draws the attention of them as they look at the angry Vector "These boxes are frustratingly difficult to close! And the tape is too small for my hands!" Espio sighs tapping up Vectors box "Then ask someone to do it for you."
Vector groans "I can do it myself if the tape was bigger!" Charmy giggles stuffing a box "By the way where's Sonic?" He asks, Amy sighs "He claims he want to scout Eggman just to make sure he's down for the count." Tails chuckles packing the cords and wires "He probably just said that to get out of cleaning." Vector opens a room finding a bunch of weapons "So what do we do with these? We can't just pack em." Amy thinks for a moment staring into the room "I'll try asking Knuckles but we should leave them to someone who can use them." Tails walks up behind her looking into the room "I can take em, just don't expect to be using them ever again." Vector scratches his chin "I know a guy, he works with stuff like this." Amy clicks through her communicator seeing Shadow, Rouge and Omega "They might be busy at the moment. But I think I'd be best to leave it with them." Tails looks beside her "Rouge might just sell them. Or maybe Omega will just add it to his arsenal." Amy sighs finding knuckles on her communicator "I'll just ask Knuckles. Maybe he'll find a way to use em." She says walking away as she calls him.

"So you want to make sure Baldy is out of the game?" Rouge asks, the Black hedgehog nods turning to Rouge "We can stop him before he starts up another plan. We don't want another war." Shadow says. Rouge sighs "Never a break with you. After this we should check out a beach house." She giggles thinking out chilling on the beach. "Like I care about beaches. We will find where Eggman is hiding and massacre his forces." Omega says cocking his gun. "Always about violence. Well I suppose you are a war machine." Rouge says with a smile. "But we'll need to be discrete. Its just a look over to make sure he doesn't have some final plan in motion." Shadow says.
Omega turns to Shadow "Guns Blazing or I'm not coming." Rouge giggles at his childishness, Shadow groans "We shouldn't be rushing in. We don't know what he's planning." Shadow states, "We'll just gun it down." Omega retorts. "Then how bout you wait for our signal before you rush in guns blazing. Well scout inside first. Is that okay?" Rouge asks Omega, defusing the argument. Omega processes her statement "Very well." Shadow sighs "Thanks." Rouge giggles "Don't say I don't do anything for you. And you'll owe me for this." Shadow smiles "Fine. Let's get going." He says. The three leaving making their way to an abandoned Eggman facility.

"Still nothing?" Tails asks, sitting outside with Amy and knuckles on Angle Island. Amy sighs "He said a day or two and it's already been 1, I don't feel good about this." Knuckles groans "He's fine! He can take care of himself. He does this all the time." Tails laughs nervously "Yea, he does this a lot." Amy sighs "Yea, your right. He wouldn't go if it wasn't something he couldn't handle. Right?" Tails and Knuckles glance at each other before giving her an anxious smile and nodding "Right." Tails says. "So anyway, Knuckles about the weapons?" She asks, "I can't take them, while it would be fun to use weapons on a place were I can't hurt someone. I could potentially harm the master emerald. So I cannot take the weapons." Knuckles states. Amy sighs "Maybe Shadow and them will take the weapons." She says calling Shadow.

"So did Silver make it home?" Cheese asks Vector. "Yep he safely made it back." Vector says with a grin, he glances on the table beside him seeing a little tea cup glancing up he sees Vanilla "Tea Mr Vector?" She says with a kinda smile. He chuckles nervously gladly taking accepting the tea "Yes, Thank you. By the way you look lovely today." Vanilla blushes and giggles seeing the big alligator flustered "Your very handsome yourself." Espio sighs watching Vector flirt with Vanilla. "They look so cute together." Charmy says with a chuckle as he eats a cookie. Espio nods eating a cookie. Cream hears a knock on the door "I'll get it!" She says with a smile skipping to the door opening it.

"Anything?" Shadow asks Rouge through the comms as he and Omega hide behind a rock. Rouge flies over the facility, it's not rusty or old looking, but does look abandoned, no Robots around, it all just looks dead "Nothing. But we shouldn't go through the front door." She says to Shadow, floating down word she disables the cameras, assuming their non functional but disables them anyway. "Ok, Omega you wait beside the front door." Shadow turns to Omega who gets his guns ready "Affirmative." They both run toward the facility, Omega stands besides the entrance as Shadow meets Rouge on the right side. She opens a vent, grabbing Shadows hand as she enters the vent helping him up.
"Like what you see?" She asks with a giggle, Shadow sighs trying to hear outside the vent "Not now Rouge." Rouge pouts "Come on! I got this new suit~ I just wanna know if it looks good from all angles." Shadow groans "It looks fine." Rouge sighs "Just like Sonic, can't get a hint." Shadow sighs frustratingly "We are in the middle of something! We don't have time for this!" He whispers loudly. "If you two are done flirting can I break in now?" Omega says over the comms. "No not yet Omega." Shadow says. "Here." Rouge whispers finding an opening she pops it open peeking in the room. "Clear." She whispers dropping silently as she looks around, Shadow dropping beside her observing the opposite side. They note the running machines, and a few big test tubes "Looks like the doctor is here." Shadow whispers. Rouge hears footsteps pulling Shadow behind some machines, she put a finger over her lips to silence him.
They hear a door open, then a laughter "Is everything ready?" The mans voice deep yet charismatic, "YES." The computer turns on, responding to the doctors voice. Shadow and Rouge peek out seeing the evil doctor himself, and a red figure beside him. "You see this?" The doctor says pulling out a chaos emerald in front of the figure. The figure nods, "This is a chaos emerald. Your mission to find the other 6 emeralds and bring them to me. Understood?" The doctor explains, the figure sighs tapping his foot "Yes, I get it." The fugue says. Rouge and Shadow recognize the voice, it's unmistakably familiar but isn't physically possible. The doctor huffs, and with a few clicks on his computer he pulls up images and bios of Tails, Amy, Knuckles, Cream, Vanilla, Vector, Espio, Charmy, Shadow, Rouge, and Big.
"These are your friends. I'm sure you can come up with an excuse for your color, so be their friends until you find an emerald." The doctor says. Rouge and Shadow realize enough is enough "Omega, now!" Shadow whispers into the comms, before his communicator rings loudly. The doctor and the figure turn to them, "You dumbass!" Rouge whispers, Shadow growls pulling it out seeing Amy calling "Damn it bitch what!" He says before being shot into the wall, he gasps slamming to the floor as he coughs for air. Rouge steps away, the machine blocking their view obliterated "What the fuck?" She turns to the doctor hearing him laugh aloud "Rouge and Shadow? My it appears I've been caught." Rouge runs over to Shadow before a figure blocks her way "Who the hell are you?!" She shouts. The figure chuckles "God I never thought a bat could look so slutty." She gasps offended "Prick!" She twirls an attempt to kick him before he blocks her kick pushing her to the ground "Too slow." He laughs disappearing in an instant.
Shadow huffs holding his stomach as he stands up, she steps over to Rouge shielding her "Whats going on?!" He yells. The doctor laughs as the fugue walks out from behind him with a grin only one person could pull off. "S-Sonic?" Shadow says shooken, as he stares at the figure clearly. The figure laughs "And I thought you were fast?" The doctor laughs seeing Shadows disparity "Presenting! Sonic, the Egghog!" The doctor activates the lights showing off Sonic. His red body contrasting with his green eyes, his signature grin with a twisted aura "It... can't be..." Rouge groans looking at him. Sonic sighs "You'd walk into enemy territory with 2 emeralds?" He says pulling out 2 emeralds. Shadow gasps "Damn it. What the fuck are you doing!" He shouts dashing over to Sonic before getting smashed into the wall again "I'm doing what I want! It's not like you can stop me." He grins running Shadow through walls before smashing him through a tube filled with water.
Rouge pants, frightened by the display of power this Sonic is showing "Shadow!" She yells. "Open the door." She hears through the comms, hearing heavy metal footsteps from behind the door. She flys to the door opening it letting Omega destroy the lab with bullets. The doctor yelps hiding behind the computer "Where is he." Omega asks, Rouge points to the hole in the wall, just in time for Sonic to walk out with a grin "Who are you? You look like a creation of the doctor." He says strolling in the room. Omega sees the new Sonic "You! Are not Sonic! Who are you." Omega states pointing his guns at the Red hedgehog. Sonic smiles holding his arms in the air "I am Sonic. Who else would I be?" He grins before sprinting over to Omega ripping off his left are before he could fire.
"Does not matter." Omega states firing his right as he aims at the red blur. Sonic laughs "For such a fast gun it's so slow!" He exclaims ripping Omegas right arm off. Rouge gasps backing away as Omega glances at his missing arms "Then I have no other option. Rouge, take Shadow and leave the facility immediately." Omega states opening his chest automatically as a bomb beeps loudly from his chest. Rouge gazes in horror "We are a team! Don't do this!" She shouts. Omega turns to Rouge "I can always be rebuilt. You and Shadow cannot." Rouge tears up, seeing her friend about to blow up "Go Rouge." Omega states. "Boring!" Sonic shouts stabbing a pipe through Omega head stopping the bomb. Rouge freezes seeing Omegas broken body fall lifeless onto the floor.
Sonic sighs wiping a tear from his eye "God I didn't know we were getting sentimental. Welp too bad." He says walking over to Rouge. She fearfully steps back tripping over a monitor as Sonic laughs "It's amazing how slow everyone else is, why haven't I don't this sooner." He grins kicking Rouge to the wall, she screams feeling her side burn and pulse with pain. Sonic crouches beside her pulling her gaze to his "You give off a cocky smartass bitch vibe. I guess in the face of perfection all that personality fade." He grins standing he kicks her face into the wall. She whimpers, blood leaking from her forehead and mouth as tears run down her face "Shadow..." she murmurs getting another kick to the cheek "To think you'd rely on a faker!" Sonic shouts about to kick her again before he dashes back.
Rouge looks up drunkenly to see a bloody wet Shadow pant before her , shielding her. "You... bastard." Shadow groans, Sonic grins "Please, didn't you ever thought I'd hold back? It's about time I do what I want. And maybe take over the world in the process." Shadow growls carrying Rouge as he glances over at a broken Omega "Goodbye... friend..." he says speeding out of the facility hearing the red Sonic laugh as he leaves. Having lost both emeralds, and a friend, he breaks down as he runs away "Omega..."

"Damn it! Asshole blocked my call!" Amy shouts frustrated. Tails chuckles nervously "It's not like he likes getting calls. He kinda just arrives when it's necessary." He explains. Amy pouts "Why is only Hedgehog worth asking for help from the future! Why do ours just not care!" Knuckles sighs "He's probably busy! Hell knowing him he probably when to scout Eggman too!" Knuckles laughs. Amy groans figuring that for the reason "Maybe we can just give it to Vectors friend." Knuckles turns to her confused "Friend?" Amy nods "Yea, Vector said he had a guy." Knuckle groans "Don't do that! Anyone he calls friend we either know, or some secret guy he has a connection too to help out with his 'Detective' business." Knuckles explains. Amy scoffs "I doubt he'd have connections with underground or bad people. He's a nice guy who's really into a certain Rabbit." She says giggling. "Right! The milf." Knuckles says getting a glare from Amy "I mean Vanilla! Creams mother!" He says trying to defuse her.
A loud ring halts her glare, she looks at her communicator seeing Cream and Vanilla calling. "Hi Cream, What's up? Are you okay?" She says, "I'm great! Mr Vector and his friends came over for some tea then surprisingly Sonic showed up a different color." Cream explains. Amy freezes "Sorry dear I don't think I heard you right could you repeat that last part?" Amy asks. Tails and Knuckles look at her curiously as they listen closely to Cream. "It's okay, Sonic is here, and he's red!" Cream says happily. Amy, Tails and Knuckles look at each other "Sonic? Is at Creams?"

Cream opens the door seeing Sonic standing in the doorway "Hiya Cream! How are you today!" He exclaims with his signature grin. "Mr Sonic? Wow! Your Red! What happened?" She asks. "Just thought about a new look, after everything that happened i just want a... new start in a sense." He says. "Oh, well you look really cool in red Mr Sonic. Please come in!" Cream compliments opening the door for him. "Thanks Cream." He pats her head as he walks in Creams home.
Cream rushes to the kitchen "Sonic is here!" She exclaims. Vanilla giggles "I'll get some more tea and cookies ready." Vector looks at Espio "Sonic? Didn't Amy say he was off somewhere?" Espio nods. Sonic walks in waving at Vector "Hiya Vector, how have you been?" Sonic says. "Just fine!" Vector exclaims faking his smile "It's such an amazing day today Isn't it?" Sonic grins chuckling "Nothing like a cool breeze and a bright sun." Vector smiles "Espio ask Cream to inform Amy." He whispers to an invisible Espio, "Affirmative." He whispers walking into the other room. Espio walks in to find Cream cleaning up "Cream?" He says, she turns to him and smiles "Yes Mr Espio?" She asks. "Could you inform Amy of Sonic? He's been gone for a while and she's been worried about him." Espio says. "Of course, I'll call her right now." Cream says walking to the phone on the wall as she dials Amy's number.
"So Sonic whatcha doin here? I mean the cookies and tea are good." Vector asks. Sonic chuckles "Well I was looking for an Chaos Emerald and I just happen to be near here so I wanted to stop by." Sonic explains. Vector smiles gulping nervously "I see, do you need them for anything? What's going on?" He tries to act worried. Sonic look around before scooting toward Vector "I think Eggmans back, but I don't want to cause a panic. So I'm trying to get the emeralds before he does." Sonic whispers. Vector gulps "That does sound dangerous." Vector notices the black rings around Sonic wrist, and the fact he knows about Eggman and is trying to get the emeralds early. As he pieces things together he asks one more question "Did you inform tails? He could help?" Vector asks. "Tails? Not yet, I'll inform him when I'm over there." Sonic says. Vector gulps, he knows Tails is Sonics best friend, and he knows Sonic would ask Tails for help with emerald searching, but since he hasn't. A fake Sonic is an the home an innocent person.
My first time making a story like this. So just for some elaboration this 'Sonic' is Red In color, looks just like Sonic but instead of gold rings their black, his red shoes replaced with blue shoes and his eyes are still green. I know the ending is a little meh, I was thinking about ending it with Amy getting a call from cream saying Sonics back. Anyway let me know what you think.
