Chapter 11 When Extremes meet
Its been a couple days since the City found out Hiroshi was involved with Amon and his equalists because he blamed the Titans for everything wrong with the world.
And since another Titan showed up known as Biollante and her host Julia.
Right now Sean was getting out of bed before stretching as he walked outside seeing Korra look at the ocean on the meditation platform before walking to her.
"Hey." Sean said making her look at him and smiled.
"Morning. How you feeling?" Korra asked.
"Good. What about you? I know that look." Sean said making her sigh.
"I feel guilty for ruining Asami's life." Korra said.
"You didn't do a damn thing. Hiroshi brought this on himself because he blames the wrong people. Another reason Man cannot lead itself. When events like those occur they twist our objectives and morals. Its nothing to be ashamed of its just human nature." Sean said.
"I know. But If I didn't push so hard." Korra said.
"Korra, that information was gonna come out anyway. You heard what Hiroshi said. They would strike by the end of the week. Meaning Amon's endgame may be fast approaching. Though we may have set them back because of recent events. Which is a good thing." Sean said.
"I know." Korra said before he pulled her up and kissed her which she returned.
"Why don't we go into the City for a little while. Clear your head." Sean said making her smile.
"Sure." Korra said.
Soon the two were at the park walking around.
"Ah I love this place." Sean said looking around.
"You chose this place for a park for a reason didn't you?" Korra asked making him smile.
"Yeah...This is where I proposed to Hitomi 30,000 years ago." Sean said surprising her. "Don't look so surprised. What you think I did in the labs for everyone to see? Not very romantic." Sean said making her giggle.
"I guess not. You may have been arrogant but you had a big heart." Korra said making him smile.
"Yeah. I would give anything to see her one last time to apologize for what I've done." Sean said before she held him.
"Sean. I know she would forgive you considering you've changed since that day. And she would be proud of you." Korra said making him smile as he kissed her as she held him close.
"JOIN THE EQUALISTS!" The Manchild yelled making them freeze.
"Oh no. Not again." Korra moaned in annoyance seeing the big manchild trying to get attention...Again.
"I truly hate people like this." Godzilla said before he spotted them.
"It's you two again! You cannot silence me monsters!"
"Excuse me?" Sean asked.
"All Benders are monsters."
"Really? So little kids who can bend are monsters? Water benders who heal serious wounds are monsters? Benders who protect the innocent are monsters? You really desperate for attention and it's pathetic." Godzilla said making everyone agree before leaving.
"NOOO! Don't leave me? Please listen to me!" The Manchild yelled.
"Your nothing but a waste of flesh." Godzilla said turning into his form but human size before smacking his tail into him making him yell as he flew into the pond.
"My hero." Korra said as Sean took over and smirked.
"Want to see another spot that used to mean something to me?" Sean asked making her grin as they walked off.
Arriving outside the city into the forest they came to a beautiful sight.
It was a giant waterfall that was devoid of any human life.
"Whoa." Korra said in awe.
"This is one of my favorite spots. My family and I used to come here every weekend to spend time together when I was a kid. Its one of the few placed that was left untouched by the war." Sean said making her smile.
"It's beautiful." Korra said before she kissed him which he returned before she started getting a little more aggressive.
"Hold up." Sean said pulling back making her smile.
"What? Don't wanna go further?" Korra teased.
"I don't want you to do something you're not ready for. Or the likely outcome when this happens." Sean said.
"If you're worried I might end up pregnant don't be. I am on the pill you know. I'm not reckless...But one question." Korra said.
"Hmm?" Sean asked.
"He's not gonna watch us is he?" Korra asked making him snort.
"I've seen it all before long before technology when you were all primitive. But to answer your question...No. This is a private moment between the two of you." Godzilla said before Sean took control.
"He'll just be asleep for the next few hours. You don't think I'd let him watch do you?" Sean asked making her giggle.
"It would have just made things weird." Korra said making him chuckle before she kissed him again.
"Are you sure you really wanna do this though? I don't want you to do something your not actually ready for." Sean said making her smile.
"Sean, I want this without question. I'm not scared." "I've seen Actual children rule domains more impressive than the likes of you." Godzilla said.
"Well aren't you sweet, little monk child." Bolin said before Pabu ran down between Meelo's legs before running to Naga.
"Whats that fuzzy creature?" Meelo asked.
"That is a fire ferret. An arboreal mammal common to the bamboo forests of the central Earth Kingdom." Jinora said.
"Wow and I thought my sister was a bookworm." Sean said making her grin.
"Sister? You had a sister?" Korra asked.
"Two. Sarah and Dawn who were twins. Sarah had blonde hair and brown eyes while Dawn had raven hair and blue eyes." Sean said.
"HE'S CUTE!" Ikki yelled running to them along with Meelo while Jinora held her face in her hand.
Pabu hissed in annoyance before running away from her while Meelo landed on Naga's head pulling her ears.
"Yip-Yip. Fly sky-Bison! Fly!" Meelo said making the group laugh at this.
"Thanks for sending the air acolytes to help us with the move." Mako said.
"Yes, they've been amazing. Such tireless workers." Asami said as they came carrying multiple bags in one go.
"Christ Asami did you really need to bring that much?" Sean joked making them laugh before walking up the stairs.
"It's no problem. Everyone here wants you guys to feel welcome." Korra said as they made it through the gates.
When they got closer Asami noticed Fawkes on a stand making her raise an eyebrow.
"What is that?" Asami asked.
"Ah. Thats my pet bird Fakwes. A Phenix. A species created by the Fire Titan Rodan. The first fire master." Sean said before they split up to take everyone to their rooms.
While Korra was leading Asami to her room Ikki decided to open her fat mouth.
"Asami, did you know Korra loves Sean?" Ikki asked making her freeze before growling at her.
"Actually I..." Asami tried to say before Korra dragged her into her room and slammed the doors on Ikki.
"HEY!" Ikki yelled.
"Buzz off, Ikki." Korra said making her growl. "Sorry about that." Korra said.
"So...How is your relationship going?" Asami asked making her smile remembering two days ago.
"Amazing honestly. It's funny. When I was a kid all I did was look up to him because at the time I thought he was just a student of Godzilla's. Now I know their joined together and fell in love with Sean since he was there for me at every turn and made me happy every chance he could." Korra said.
"Yeah. Love works that way." Asami said before someone knocked on the door.
"Ikki I swear to god. If you don't buzz off." Korra said before Tenzin walked in making her freeze. "Oh, Tenzin...Sorry." Korra said as Sean walked in.
"Good day, ladies. Asami, welcome to the island." Tenzin said.
"Thank you for having me." Asami said bowing.
"Did you two need something?" Korra asked.
"Lin's replacement, Saikhan is going to be inducted as the new chief of police later. I think we should all be there." Tenzin said.
Later
"It was an honor serving under Chief Beifong for so many years, and I wish her a speedy recovery. It is with great humility that I take her place as the new chief of police." Saikhan said.
"I do not trust this man." Godzilla said.
"Oh yeah?" Korra asked.
"He seems like the type whose either easily intimidated or someone who can be bribed by higher ups." Godzilla said.
"Republic City is facing a threat like none the world has ever seen. But there is one man who has been effective against Amon's revolution...Councilman Tarrlok." Saikhan said.
"My point proved in less than ten seconds." Godzilla said.
"That is why for all matters involving the Equalists, I will report directly to him. The Police department will lend any and all available resources to the councilman and his task force until we quell this insurgency." Saikhan said.
"This is why Amon's forces are growing. Idiots like him saying shit like that in public only make things worse since these people are just sick of feeling powerless." Sean said.
"Yeah. I know what you mean." Korra said.
Soon enough the press left.
"Tarrlok, I don't know what you did to get Chief Saikhan in your pocket but I highly doubt it was legal." Tenzin accused making him chuckle.
"Tenzin, always the conspiracy theorist. Did you ever consider Saikhan simply recognizes my talents and wants what is best for this city?" Tarrlok questioned before Korra and Sean stepped forward. "Well, Avatar Korra and lord Kruger, long time, no see. Now that your little pro-bending distractions are over, I look forward to you joining my task force." Tarrlok said.
"Highly unlikely." Godzilla said.
"Forget it. we said no the first time and we're saying no now." Korra said making him frown.
"That is unfortunate. But I'm sure you'll both come to your senses as you have in the past." Tarrlok said.
"Don't hold your breath, Bub. Sean and Godzilla have been right about you from the start. You use people to further your own agendas and get what you want no matter who suffers. But I'm not falling for your crap. I'm the Avatar." Korra said making him scoff.
"You may be the Avatar but the question remains if people should continue to trust the titans." Tarrlok said as Godzilla narrowed his eyes. "After all they left humanity for 30,000 years and look where that led. Nothing but war and suffering. So why should we continue to trust them?" Tarrlok said.
"Maybe because unlike you they actually have a soul and heart." Korra said making him frown. "And for the record they didn't leave us. They were exhausted from the war and needed to regain their strength. But believe me they'll take charge again and you'll be out of a job." Korra said as they left making him glare.
Sean and Korra were on a ferry heading back to the island.
"You handled that rather well." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"You think I'm gonna let him insult my boyfriend? I don't think so." Korra said making him chuckle before Godzilla took over.
"Now...Care to explain to us whats bothering you?" Godzilla asked making her blink. "I can easily tell you've been troubled by something. What is it?" Godzilla asked making her sigh before looking at the ocean.
"I've been...Getting these visions lately. I don't know what to make of them." Korra said.
"Did you see any of the past Avatars?" Godzilla asked.
"I saw Aang, Sokka, Toph and both of you. You all looked like you were in trouble. Whats does it mean?" Korra asked.
"Hmm. I'm not completely certain on that to be honest. BUT. I have very little doubt in my mind that Aang most be trying to contact you. To tell you something that happened here long ago. There were few instances where all of us were truly needed together. Was there someone else?" Godzilla asked.
"I saw one other guy...I have no idea who he was though but...He looked evil." Korra said.
"Hmm. I urge you to try and connect to Aang as you did Kyoshi. I think he's trying to warn you about something serious that we're not aware of. Something that has to do with our past when Republic City was ruled by Aang and his group in their prime." Godzilla said.
Later
Both Sean and Korra were at the edge of the island with Korra leaning on his chest as they looked at the stars.
"KORRA!" Bolin yelled making them roll their eyes.
"So much for peace and quiet." Sean said as they stood up before the others arrived.
"You guys all right?" Reznov asked.
"Yeah we're good. Whats up?" Sean asked.
"Well, considering the new Chief of police is in office the Equalists might get bold and start attacking more publicly." Julia said.
"That we have little doubt." Biollante said.
"Nor do I. But we must remain cautious. Tarrlok is gaining more and more power." Godzilla said.
"Whats his deal anyway?" Reznov asked.
"Tarrlok is trying to gain complete control of the city his way. He's only proving Amon's point about Benders. And more people will join him if this keeps up." Korra said.
"Unless Amon learns the truth about the barrier. If he learns the truth he may call all this off."
"I'm not so sure about that. Even if he does agree its better to keep bending to keep those things away my dad won't stop. He'll make more and more weapons to kill the Titans." Asami said.
"He would fail. Theres no amount of technology in this era that would even harm the skin of a the weakest Titan. Nowhere close. In our time yes but no one would dare make such a weapon to fight the titans." Sean said.
"That and it was forbidden. Punishable by death." Orga said.
"Kinda makes you guys sound like Dictators." Mako said.
"Not at all. We just didn't want those kind of weapons falling into the wrong hands." Godzilla said.
"And there have been some in the past who like Hiroshi believed Man should rule man for flawed reasons during the early stages of our rule. A majority disagreed with their beliefs and these people were punished by exile in the beginning away from Titan City. Then as technology grew those kind of people were near nonexistent." Bollante said.
"But back to the matter at hand perhaps we should head into the city and keep an eye on things for a time." Orga said.
"I am inclined to agree." Godzilla said as Sean took over.
"All right let's head out." Korra said as the more human members got on Naga.
"Naga away." Bolin said getting on.
"I don't think..." Sean tried to say before she pushed them off since they were too much.
"That is clearly not going to work." Godzilla said.
"Ok any other ideas?" Korra asked making Asami grin.
Soon they were at the docks before the group was at a garage before it opened up and Asami drove out in a four seater car.
"Think this will do?" Asami asked.
"But theres only four seats." Korra said before Sean was floating on water while Julia used her vines to float with Reznov with her. "Next time find a bigger one." Korra said making her grin before they drove off with the three following.
While they were driving they were listening to a police radio.
"My dad had police scanners installed in all his cars. I guess now I know why." Asami said before a report of Equalists breaking out captured Non-benders.
Thats when they drove right past them and nearly ran over pedestrians.
"Speak of equality and yet they nearly ran over fellow non-benders." Julia said before using her vines to grab them before smashing them down hard.
"Wow." Korra said as they got out as Reznov dragged them out.
"Come here flesh bag!" Reznov yelled dragging them out.
Thats when suddenly Tarrlok's task force arrived.
"Avatar Korra, What do you think you're doing?" Tarrlok asked frowning at her..
"Oh, hey, Tarrlok. Nice of you to show up finally. Here, we captured the escaped convicts for you." Korra said.
"What you did was tear up the city and impede the real authorities in their pursuit of these criminals." Tarrlok said.
"Funny we did not see your so called Task Force anywhere in sight." Godzilla said.
"If it wasn't for Team Avatar they would have escaped." Korra said.
"This is your last warning." Tarrlok said.
"Or else what? What will you do against the likes of us? Nothing. You are nothing but an insect to us. As where we have the will of the people you have nothing but political power. Power that will soon no longer be yours." Godzilla said making him glare before leaving.
"He gets under my skin worse than Sozin." Sean said.
"Yup." Korra said holding him close making him smirk.
Next day
Tenzin and the others were at city hall listening to Tarrlok's new proposal.
"Republic City stands as a beacon of freedom, but the equalists are using that freedom to tear it down. The Law I have proposed would make it illegal for anyone to be a member of the Equalists or even be associated with them It also puts into effect a curfew, ensuring all non-benders are in their own homes by nightfall." Tarrlok said.
"This is going too far, Tarrlok. You can't punish all non-benders for the actions of a few. The Titans won't let that stand." Tenzin said.
"That kind of cowardice will cause our city to fall into Amon's hands. We must pass this law even if the King doesn't like it. All in favor?" Tarrlok asked getting all but Tenzin to agree making him grin.
Later
Sean and the others were outside a bar.
"Gah! Fuck!" Reznov yelled throwing his drink away. "I hate tea." Reznov said making Sean and Julia chuckle.
"Some things never change." Sean said.
"He's always been like this?" Korra asked amused.
"When it comes to drinks yes. He hates Tea with a passion but loves alcohol. And since in our time there was a chemical designed to prevent brain cell damage he could drink to his heart's content." Sean said making her laugh.
"Hey I was not a drunk. I just liked the strong shit but never over did it...Except once." Reznov said.
"Oh yeah? How'd that happen?" Korra asked before the Radio told about a Equalist rally.
"Time to get to work." Sean said before opening the back door for Korra. "After you my lady." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"What a gentleman." Korra said getting in with Mako.
Sean and the others used their elements to follow.
Arriving at the destination however though.
"What the hell?" Reznov asked.
"Why is the power out?" Godzilla asked before they came to a stop seeing regular civilians with the police surrounding them. "You must be joking." Godzilla said angered by this.
"These aren't equalists. These are ordinary people. Wheres they're power?" Orga asked.
"I'll give you one guess." Sean said seeing Tarrlok before he approached him. "Tarrlok!" Sean yelled getting his attention. "What do you think you're doing?" Sean asked glaring at him.
"Kruger, I suggest you leave. You have no business." Tarrlok said.
"We are not going anywhere worm." Godzilla said glaring at him. "You have no right to take away their rights or power. They'll freeze in this temperature." Godzilla said.
"This an equalist rally." Tarrlok said.
"Do they look like Amon's followers? You took away their power. What did you expect would happen?" Godzilla asked.
"They should have obeyed the law. Round up all these equalists." Tarrlok said as his men were about to start rounding them up when Godzilla dashed at one and grabbed him by the head.
"You all dishonor your duty." Godzilla said before the officer groaned as he was let go and tried to bend but couldn't shocking the other officers as Godzilla growled at them before Asami yelled out as Tarrlok used water bending to grab her.
"What do you think your doing!" Reznov yelled.
"She's under arrest. She's a non-bender past curfew and her father is a Equalist." Tarrlok said.
"But she turned on him when she didn't share the same views." Reznov said.
"Arrest them, the Avatar and the others!" Tarrlok yelled.
"ENOUGH!" Godzilla roared startling the men. "What...Do you want?" Godzilla asked snarling at him making him smirk.
"Well...I would be convinced to let everyone here go...If you surrender yourself to my men." Tarrlok said making Godzilla snarl before looking at the people seeing children in the crowd.
'I got enough blood on my hands for my past actions. I'm not gonna have more on it if people get hurt in this conflict for his cruelty.' Sean said making him snarl.
"Fine." Godzilla said shocking the others as Sean took control as the men cuffed him before stepping in front of a truck before stopping.
"Something you'd like to say?" Tarrlok mocked.
"Before this war begins I am going to take away your bending just as I did that officer and Tahno's team." Sean said making him glare before Sean went inside as Korra looked worried as they drove off before glaring at Tarrlok.
"Your gonna pay for this." Korra said making him smirk before his men left.
Later
Tenzin walked into the Police station as Korra tried to get some answers but no one was listening.
"HEY!" Korra yelled.
"I came as fast as I could. Is Sean all right?" Tenzin asked.
"I don't know. These morons won't listen." Korra said tired of being ignored.
"I'll take care of this." Tenzin said as Saikhan appeared before he tried to leave seeing them.
"Saikhan, A word please." Tenzin said.
"Councilman Tenzin, I'm pretty swamped at the moment. Can this wait?" Saikhan asked.
"No, it cannot. Tarrlok wrongfully arrested Sean tonight. I'd like you to release him immediately." Tenzin said.
"Thats not gonna happen." Saikhan said.
"And just is that?" Korra asked.
"He will be publicly executed tomorrow night for crimes against Republic City." Saikhan said shocking them.
"WHAT! He can't do that! Can he?" Korra asked.
"Absolutely not. Those kind of actions have to be decided in court. Tarrlok doesn't have that kind of power to have someone killed." Tenzin said.
"Thats not what he said. You'll have to take it up with him." Saikhan said before Korra grabbed him.
"You are a weak minded idiot like the White Lotus. No wonder people don't trust you people anymore!" Korra yelled before Tenzin pulled her back.
After that incident Korra was in her room worried about if Tarrlok would actually try to have him killed. While she knew barging in like this wasn't a smart move she knew she had to do something.
Tarrlok was going over some papers when his window opened up blowing them away before seeing Korra.
"You and I are gonna talk." Korra said
"I've been expecting you." Tarrlok said grinning.
"You have no idea what you're doing. You only proving Amon's point more and more. Proving his view on Benders and proving people can't be in charge." Korra said.
"Oh please. We both know this has nothing to do about that. This is about your teacher/protector. Or should I call him your boyfriend?" Tarrlok asked making her glare.
"I don't know how you know about that." Korra said.
"I have people keeping a close eye on both of you. Too bad he's going to be killed tomorrow." Tarrlok said.
"I'm not gonna let you do that." Korra said.
"Of course...I would be more than willing to let him go. If you both worked for me." Tarrlok said.
"Thats what this is about? You seriously did all this just to get us to join you?" Korra asked in disbelief.
"I need your answer Korra." Tarrlok said making her glare.
"No. You don't have that kind of power to have someone killed just because you say so. Not only that everyone would turn against you. And the other Titans wouldn't let you do as you please." Korra said making him glare as he stood up and faced away from her.
"You will regret that decision." Tarrlok said.
"You need to stop now. Your only proving Amon's point. People like you are the reason Hiroshi went mad." Korra said making him glare.
"I tried to work with you both Korra. I really did. But you've made that impossible." Tarrlok said before launching a water attack at her only for it to freeze right in front of her making him gasp.
"Maybe you're forgetting something. I'm not your average Avatar." Korra said before water serpents appeared around her and roared before dashing right at him making him grunt as he flew right through the wall over the railing and held on.
Tarrlok gasped in shock before the railing started bending before shaking him off making him yell as he landed hard before the ground turned to Lava making him gasp in shock as Korra floated above him.
"Heres the deal. Your gonna let Sean go and leave the both of us alone." Korra said as two Lave serpents appeared and roared at him about to charge at him only for Korra to groan as she fell down as he body moved against her will.
"Your in my way Avatar. And you and the King need to be removed." Tarrlok said.
"Your...A blood bender?" Korra asked.
"I'm surprised Kruger never taught you this ability." Tarrlok said.
"But...It's not a full moon. You shouldn't be able to do this!" Korra yelled.
"Theres a lot you don't know about me." Tarrlok said before slamming her into the wall knocking her out as she received more visions of Aang and the others.
Suddenly she woke up in Tarrlok's car.
"What do you think you're doing? Where are you taking me?" Korra asked.
"Somewhere where no one will ever find you. I hope you said goodbye to your lover Avatar. Cause tomorrow night he'll be six feet under." Tarrlok said making her roar using firebending as he shut the door before driving.
"Your gonna pay for this!" Korra screamed as Tarrlok took her away.
Later
Korra groaned as Tarrlok using blood bending took her to a metal box.
"What are you doing?" Korra asked before she was dropped. "TARRLOK!" Korra yelled before he slammed the door. "You can't keep me in here forever!" Korra yelled.
"Oh but I can. Now if you'll excuse me I have to make preparations for the King's public execution." Tarrlok said making her roar as she tried to get out.
Later
Tenzin walked into City hall having gotten a call about the Equalists attacking Tarrlok and Korra.
He saw Tarrlok being treated by a water bending.
"What happened? What was Korra doing at City Hall?" Tenzin asked.
"As I told Chief Saikhan, Korra came to my office late last night. She was upset about my decision to schedule an execution for Kruger. She asked me to release him, and that's when the Equalists attacked." Tarrlok said.
"Thats a bold move even for them." Tenzin said.
"They may have caught wind Kruger was in jail and acted out of anger for that. Chief Saikhan, mobilize the entire police force. We have to find the Avatar." Tarrlok said.
Meanwhile
Lin was in her home resting when her radio turned on.
"We interrupt your regularly scheduled broadcast to bring you this special report. Late last night, equalists attacked City Hall. Subduing Councilman Tarrlok and capturing Avatar Korra. Details are still coming in, But..." Lin shut it off before getting out of bed.
Heading to her wardrobe she saw her police uniform before putting it on before ripping off her badge.
Meanwhile
Sean sat in a mediative state.
'I do not like sitting like this. In a cell of places. Barbaric. I prefer the old ways during the golden years being in a more open one that was clean and treated humanly.' Godzilla said.
'Yeah I know. Thats gonna change soon.' Sean said before the door was opened up.
Looking up he was surprised to see Lin.
"The hell are you doing here?" Sean asked.
"Getting you out." Lin said about to walk off but saw he wasn't moving. "Are you seriously not going to accept my help?" Lin asked in disbelief.
"You tell me? You brought back my worst memory of my Fiancé dying called me pathetic for it and tried to have me killed despite the fact I helped build this city. Honestly how is Suyin your damn sister since has a heard and you don't?" Sean asked sitting back down.
"Look. I get It I screwed up. But your girlfriend needs your help. Amon took her." Lin said making his eyes shoot up before jumping up.
"Why didn't you just say so to start!" Sean yelled as they rushed out.
Meanwhile
Korra roared as she banged on the box trying to get out and stop Tarrlok.
"Somebody! PLEASE!" Korra screamed before she slumped down.
I urge you to try and connect to Aang as you did Kyoshi. I think he's trying to warn you about something serious that we're not aware of." Godzilla's voice ecchoed in her head making her sigh before she got into a mediative state to connect to Aang.
Flashback 42 years ago
An older Aang stood before Toph and her officers.
"What are you doing here, Aang? I told you I have this under control." Toph said.
"Under normal circumstances I wouldn't get involved. But if what those victims said is true, we're not dealing with a normal criminal." Aang said making her sigh.
"Fine. Follow me, twinkle toes." Toph said.
"Toph, I'm 40 years old. You think you could stop with the nicknames?" Aang asked.
"Would she be herself if she did that?" Sean asked walking to them with a grin.
"Oh come on? Aang I can understand. But why you?" Toph asked.
"You know how much I hate that ability. If he has it I want to make sure and take it away for good." Sean said.
"Ok fair enough. Lets go." Toph said leading them away.
Soon they entered a building seeing a man with muscle by his side eating. "It's over. You're under arrest, Yakone." Toph said.
"What is Republic City coming to? Used to be a man could enjoy his lunch in peace." Yakone said before she used metal bending to restrain him while his guards were held back. "Whats the big idea?" Yakone asked.
"We have over dozens of witnesses, Yakone. We know what you are." Aang said.
"Someone with a forbidden ability." Sean said.
"Take him away." Toph said getting her officers to do so.
"I've beaten every trumped-up charge you yahoos have brought against me. And I'll beat this one just the same." Yakone said.
End Flashback
"Whoa...I've finally connected with you, Aang. But what are you trying to tell me? A way to help Sean would be nice." Korra said resuming her connection,
Meanwhile
Tenzin was in his office when Lin and the others walked in.
"I'll have to call you back." Tenzin said hanging up. "Lin, What are you doing here? You should be resting." Tenzin said before looking at Sean. "And you should be in prison." Tenzin said.
"Lin busted me out. Now do you have any leads on Korra?" Sean asked.
"I've been on the phone all morning, but nothing yet." Tenzin said sadly.
"Where the hell is Naga? She could find her without any problems." Sean said.
"I'm afraid she's gone as well." Tenzin said.
"Then where do we start?" Bolin asked.
"My guess is the equalists are hiding underground, in the maze of tunnels beneath the city." Lin said.
"Underground. Just like my father's secret factory." Asami said looking down.
"Yeah, yeah, that makes sense. When those Chi-Blockers had me in their truck, it sounded like we drove into a tunnel." Bolin said.
"I think I know where to start looking." Mako said.
The group arrived at a place close to where Bolin was taken when he worked for the Triple threats a month ago
"The truck with Bolin took off down this alley." Mako said as they walked around.
"This place does smell familiar." Bolin said before Lin slammed her foot down.
"Theres a tunnel nearby." Lin said.
Soon they arrived at the gated tunnel before Godzilla tore it apart as they went inside.
"Sean seems a little...Edgy?" Asami said to Mako.
"Can you blame him. His girlfriend got taken when he was in a cell. He already lost his first girlfriend 30,000 years ago. Can't stand losing another." Mako said before they heard bikes making them get to cover before seeing them in front of a wall before it opened up.
"Clever." Tenzin said as Sean in his Titan form busted through and roared loudly.
"What is he doing!" Lin yelled in disbelief as Godzilla charged through.
"Oh boy he is pissed." Julia said before they heard screams of horror.
"Oh no not good." Reznov said as they rushed through.
Arriving inside Asami covered her mouth seeing a lot of bleeding and badly injured Equalists on the ground but not dead.
"And he's on a rampage...Don't you dare say that game." Julia warned making Reznov chuckle before they heard Godzilla roar making them follow.
Arriving further in they saw more injured equalists before Sean roared as he opened a cell that held Lin's officers.
"Amon take your bending?" Sean asked making them nod as he sighed. "Wheres Korra?" Sean asked.
"They don't have her. They all claimed Tarrlok was lying."
"What?" Sean asked surprised.
"Why would Tarrlok lie about getting attacked? That makes no sense." Reznov said.
"Because he has Korra. He played us all." Tenzin said.
"Now wait just a fucking minute. I taught Korra thousands of moves and abilities. Tarrlok only has waterbending. Theres no way he could have beaten her." Sean said.
"Not unless theres something about him that we don't know." Godzilla said taking control.
"Like what?" Lin asked.

Korra continued to meditate to get some answers from Aang.
Flashback 42 years ago
"Yakone has ruled Republic City's criminal empire for years. Yet he has always managed to stay out of the laws reach until now. You will hear testimony from dozens of his victims. And they will tell you Yakone has maintained his grip on the underworld by using an ability that has been illegal for decades...Blood bending." the prosecutor said.
Sokka narrowed his eyes at that remembering far too well about that ability.
"The prosecution's entire case is built upon the make-believe notion that my client is able to bloodbend at will, at any time, on any day. I remind the council that bloodbending is an extreamly rare skill, and it can only be performed during a full moon. Yet the witnesses will claim that my client used bloodbending at every other time except during a full moon. It would be a mockery of Justice to convict a man of a crime that is impossible to commit." Yakone's lawyer said.
"Nothing is impossible just very difficult depending on the person in question as you of all people should know." Sean said to Aang who nods.
Minutes later the council came back.
"Councilman Sokka will now deliver the Verdict."
"In my years, I have encountered people born with rare and unique bending abilities. I once bested a man with my trusty boomerang who was able to firebend with his mind. Why, even Metal bending was considered impossible for all of history, Until our esteemed chief of police, single-handedly developed the skill. The overwhelming amount of testimony and evidence had convinced this council that Yakone is one of these unique benders. And he exploited his ability to commit these heinous crimes. We find Yakone guilty of all charges and sentence him to life in prison." Sokka said banging the Gavel making Yakone's lawyer throw a paper in anger before Yakone stood up.
Only for Sokka to start groaning in pain as He blood bent him and everyone else in the room before laughing as he faced Aang and Sean who tried to stop him.

Korra breathed shakily as she experienced what was happening.
Meanwhile
Everyone was back at City hall along with the other council members and Saikhan.
"Thank you all for meeting us on such short notice." Tenzin said.
"Chief." Lin said glaring at Saikhan.
"Lin." Saikhan said glaring back. (I hate him so much)
Suddenly Tarrlok walked in.
"Have you found Korra?" Tarrlok asked before Sean punched him shocking him.
"You fucking cocksucker! You took her!" Sean yelled.
"I am shocked you would accuse me of such an evil act. I already explained. Equalists attacked..."
"STOP LYING! Lin's officers we found all said Amon's men claimed you were lying and they never attacked here last night. Meaning you made it look like they did!" Sean yelled.
"Thats ridicules!" Tarrlok yelled.
"It's True!"
Everyone turned and saw the same woman who brought the gifts Tarrlok sent to Sean and Korra to join his Taskforce.
"He took her. I saw him place her in his car."
"Thats is a lie! Everyone knows your nothing but a squeaky voiced lier!" Tarrlok yelled.
"Why didn't you say anything?" Lin asked.
"I was terrified to tell because...Because Tarrlok is a blood bender! HE BLOOD BENT AVATAR KORRA!
Sean glared at Tarrlok as Godzilla took over.
"You had best tell us where she is." Godzilla said before everyone groaned as Tarrlok bloodbended them knocking them out and ran out.
Only Sean's eyes opened up when he went through the door and snarled.

Korra continued to meditate where she was.
Flashback 42 years ago
Yakone laughed as he blood bent everyone before having Toph unlock his cuffs before she and all but Aang and Sean were knocked out before he was lifted off the ground.
"Yakone, you won't get away with this." Aang said making him laugh.
"Republic City is mine, Avatar. I'll be back one day to claim it." Yakone said before Sean's mouth glowed making him raise an eyebrow before a humming sound was heard. "WHAT!" Yakone yelled as Sean blasted him with Atomic breath making him hit a wall and groaned as Sean dashed at him and held him as Aang approached him.
"Your...Not human." Yakone said.
"Wrong on that." Aang said before taking his bending making him groan before passing out.
"I really hope I never have to see that ability again. It's a perversion to waterbending completely." Sean said making him nod.
"Lets hope so. Otherwise the next Avatar might have to deal with it." Aang said.
"Well, I ain't teaching the next one that power. No way in hell." Sean said.
Present
"Aang...This whole time...You were trying to warn me about Tarrlok." Korra said before said man walked in.
"My life is a disaster thanks to you and that monster." Tarrlok said making her grin.
"So your little blood bending secret is out." Korra said making him growl. "And I know how you do it without a full moon. Your Yakone's son." Korra said.
"I was his son. But in order to win Republic city, I had to become someone else. My father failed because he tried to rule the city from it's rotten underbelly. My plan was perfect. I was to be the city's savior. But you...You ruined EVERYTHING!" Tarrlok yelled.
"Tarrlok, it's over. Eventually Sean and the others are gonna come looking for me here." Korra said.
"Who says I'm not here now." Sean said behind Tarrlok who gasped in shock facing him. "I fucking hate that ability beyond words. It's a perversion of what I teach people of water." Sean said as Tarrlok tried to blood bend him but nothing happened.
"What...Why isn't this working?" Tarrlok asked.
"That only worked on me once 42 years ago. I've built up an immunity to it." Sean said before grabbing his head as he screamed as his bending was taken away before Sean threw him into a wall.
"Ouch." Korra said as Sean faced the box.
"Now...I taught you a thousand things. Resisting Blood bending was not one of them and thats my fault." Sean said amused making her giggle.
"Get me out of here. Please?" Korra asked as Sean tore the door off and she jumped into his arms and kissed him.
"What the hell were you thinking?" Sean asked.
"Hey! He said he was gonna execute you. You would do the same as I did if my life was on the line." Korra said making him smirk.
"Ok fair enough." Sean said as they walked out of the room leaving Tarrlok behind.
Walking outside however Naga showed up and licked Korra.
"Good girl." Korra said as they got on before Naga ran off.
Later
Everyone was searching for Korra and Sean after the later vanished before they heard a familiar howling.
"That sounds like Naga." Bolin said as they flew down seeing the two on Naga.
"Korra!" Tenzin yelled rushing to her.
"I'm ok. Really. Sean found me and took Tarrlok's bending away." Korra said as Sean held her close as they and Naga got on Oogi and flew off.
