Chapter 15 The Fire God
Godzilla along with the other Titans who had hosts were currently on their way the the fire nation to find Dawn who held the Fire Titan Rodan.
It's been a week since Sarah was given another chance for her actions by her family and since she had gotten Mothra back inside her since she only unsealed herself to give her a reason to reconcile with her brother before resealing herself back.
Most of the group including Korra's parents were on Godzilla's back as they neared the Fire Nation.
"Uncle sam was smiling. Peaceful as a child." Turok sang in Destroyah's form.
"Oh not again." Godzilla said annoyed.
"Shut up, Turok." Orga said.
"Shut up." Sarah said.
"Put a sock in it." Biollante said.
"Turok I swear to god." Sean said.
"I don't see what the problem is." Destroyah said flying over them.
"It's annoying. I prefer that old soft jazz music back in the day." Orga said.
"I didn't think you guys even liked human music." Korra said on Godzilla's head.
"Where'd you get that idea from?" Godzilla asked.
"Just figured since a lot of animals hate music." Korra said.
"We're not animals despite our appearance. We always encouraged mankind to be inventive. Music was one of the more unique items they made in those days." Mothra said.
"The only animal here is Sarah." Turok said.
"HEY!" Sarah yelled annoyed making the others laugh. "I know I still deserve some crap but thats just mean." Sarah said.
"Whatever. We're coming up to shore." Turok said as they neared the land before everyone got off of Godzilla before Sean and the others took control as did the others.
"Ah it feels good to be back." Sean said cracking his neck.
"So Dawn is somewhere in the Fire Nation?" Korra asked.
"Where else would she be with that giant flaming bird?" Reznov asked making Orga chuckle.
"Rodan is considered to be one of the strongest amongst the Titans. He's in charge of all fire based Titans." Godzilla said.
"Oh so thats why she's here." Korra said.
"Yup. First things first. Lets go pay Zuko a visit. I haven't seen him in a while." Sean said as they walked off.
"So I have an honest question. Why didn't you help Aang and the others out sooner like during the day of black sun?" Korra asked.
"It wasn't time. Theres a time and place to act and a time not to. As much as I wanted to get rid of Ozai for his crimes I knew Aang had to be the one to do it. I was just waiting for the right moment to intervene." Godzilla said.
"You mean when you gave him energy bending." Tenzin said.
"Yes. And then we revealed ourselves to the group after wards." Sean said snickering.
"What did you do?" Korra asked amused.
"Did Katara tell you how she reacted when she first met us?" Sean asked.
"Yes...She said she screamed...Oh." Korra said giggling.
"Wait she screamed?" Senna asked.
"Um." Sean said.
Flashback
Aang and the others were on Roku's old home island.
"So where's this friend of yours anyway?" Toph asked looking around.
"He should be here any..." Aang said before seeing a familiar set of spikes approaching the island making them tense up.
"WHAT IS THAT!" Sokka yelled in alarm as Godzilla rose out of the ocean and bellowed loudly before looking at them as he lowered himself down making all but Aang and Toph tense up.
"Boo." Godzilla said.
"AHHHHHHH!" Katara and Sokka screamed making him chuckle in amusement.
"That never gets old. Allow me to introduce myself. I am the King of the Titans the original guardians of all that live and breathe upon this world. Godzilla." Godzilla said.
"Whoa. This giant Gecko is huge." Toph said making Godzilla look offended.
"GECKO!" Godzilla yelled before roaring right at her making her hold her ears as she flew into a wall as he stopped. "DON'T EVER CALL ME A GECKO!" Godzilla yelled.
"Uh Toph. I really wouldn't mess with this guy since he seems worse than Ozai." Katara said.
"Don't compare us to that filth who's Zuko's father. Thats an insult." Godzilla said.
"Hold up. You said us not I." Zuko said.
"Oops. Perhaps I should let him explain this." Godzilla said before he glowed as he shrunk before Sean stood before them.
"Allow to introduce myself. My name is Sean Ashburn Kruger. The Host of Godzilla and teacher of nearly every single Avatar since near the beginning and one of the last seven people left from the golden years when Titans ruled the Earth and led mankind to greatness." Sean said shocking them all.
Present.
Korra laughed at the Gecko comment.
"It's not funny." Godzilla said annoyed.
"Sorry." Korra said.
Soon they approached the palace before being allowed in since they knew who they were.
However there was one problem when they walked in.
The White Lotus was there.
"The hell are you doing here?" Sean asked glaring at them.
"We're here to convince Fire Lord Zuko to execute you. And he will agree with us." The Leader said.
"You really will not drop this will you?" Sean asked.
"Monsters like you don't deserve to live. And that thing inside the Avatar will also die."
Sean punched him down hard making him grunt before Sean stepped on him hard making him cough up blood.
"You EVER make a threat like that again...And I'll kill your entire order and expose every dirty secret you have. That is my promise." Sean said snarling at him.
"In any event your request is denied." Zuko said shocking them. "You can't blame him for an honest mistake. And if the Titans who led humanity to an age of greatness...Who are you to decide?" Zuko asked making him growl.
"Get out. And if you try going to Unalaq I will wipe out the White Lotus. And the Earth queen doesn't even care about anything but herself." Sean said making them leave. "Fucking morons." Sean said as Zuko sighed.
"My uncle would be disappointed with them beyond words. Now, what brings all of you to the Fire Nation?" Zuko asked changing the subject.
"We're just looking for my sister. Dawn." Sean said.
"Well, you're in luck. She happens to be in town performing." Zuko said.
"Performing?" Korra asked.
"Oh, no." Sean moaned. "She uses her fire bending to perform like a play. I know exactly what she's gonna do. Fucking snot nosed brat." Sean said as they left.
Walking through town the group split up.
"So You were the first Water Bender. Sarah was the first Air bender and Dawn was the first Firebender. Which one of you was Earth?" Korra asked.
"Technically that was Julia. Since Biollante is a plant based Titan she can move the Earth in a similar fashion to my Water bending." Sean said.
"So...You and Dawn get along pretty good right?" Korra asked.
"Course. Remember before Unalaq pulled that stunt we all got together every few years. Minus Sarah for obvious reasons." Sean said.
"So where were Reznov, Julia and Turok this whole time?" Korra asked.
"Reznov and Julia were in the Earth Kingdom and Turok was at the Air temples moving around. He actually confronted the Air Nomads when they tried to force Aang into being the Avatar too soon when he ran away." Sean said.
"Really?" Korra asked.
"Yup Told me everything." Sean said.
Flashback
"You idiots!" Turok yelled airbending several Nomads down hard making them yell in pain! "Do you have any idea what you've done!" Turok yelled.
"You have to understand Lord Turok. War is on the horizon."
"I'm fucking aware of that! But we set up rules for this! The Avatar isn't to know his or her identity until the age of 16. You broke that rule! Do you have any idea the kind of pressure you put on him! No wonder he left. And then you tried taking away the one person who treated him like a human being!" Turok yelled.
"We treated him fairly." Tashi said.
"How? By trying to force his responsibilities on him too soon? You idiots don't understand. People in the past when they discovered who the next Avatar was at an early age always tried to force them into their responsibilities too soon and they felt like they were nothing but objects. And thats exactly how Aang felt." Turok said.
"Now see here!" Pasang yelled only for Turok to smack him into a wall.
"No...You see here. You all are a disgrace to the air nation. Aang was not ready for the training you tried to put him through. And now he's gone. Who knows where he is. And it is entirely your fault. Live with the consequences of your actions." Turok said about to leave. "Gyatso...It was a pleasure meeting a real Air Nomad who knows right from wrong." Turok said.
"Please do find Aang. Thats all I ask." Gyatso said.
"Me and the others will do what we can." Turok said leaving by flying.
End flashback
"Wait so the Air Nomads knew about you and the Titans?" Korra asked.
"Partially. Only the elders were given that information when they reached the rank. For a long time they never did anything stupid and always followed our will. But when the Hundred year war was on the horizon they broke our will. Turok was not happy about that since we made that rule for a reason. We believed even though you and your predecessors had great responsibilities. You deserved to live the first 16 years of your life in peace before your training began. But you were more eager and found early...Which of course I'm glade since it led to this." Sean said holding her stomach making her smile softly.
"Do you regret not saving them?" Korra asked.
"Course. Even though they acted rashly without thinking of how their choices would effect Aang they didn't deserve to die like that. In time the Air Nomads will return with some changes. Mostly no longer separating children from their parents and what not. I never really liked that part. Understood it but never liked it since Yangchen and I wanted to have our own family back then and didn't want them to be separated from us." Sean said making her smile.
"You really loved her didn't you?" Korra asked.
"Very. She was the first person I fell in love with after 30,000 years. But when she asked questions about my past I pushed her away. I regret that everyday. And losing Kyoshi as well...But in a sense you are them." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"Come on. Lets find Dawn then we can find David in the North." Korra said as they walked off before they saw a rainbow of flames imitating Godzilla and Mecha Godzilla.
"And we just bloody found her." Sean said as they walked off.
They arrived at a little stadium seeing flaming versions of Godzilla and Mecha Godzilla fighting.
Sean saw his sister Dawn who had fire coming from her hands.
"And when our great hero was down for the count. The Great and Powerful Titan Rodan showed up and saved him from the Evil Sarah's Metal Giant." Dawn said dramatically.
"That is not even remotely what happened!" Sean yelled making her blink before facing her brother who looked amused making her giggle sheepishly.
'I think we're screwed.' Rodan said.
'Oh ya think?' Dawn asked before the crowd dispersed.
"Becoming a comedian now like David?" Sean asked.
"Oh please. I'm just passing the time." Dawn said before the others showed up.
"Hey sis." Turok said.
"Hey, horn head." Dawn said making Destroyah growl.
'Uh Dawn? I really wouldn't make him angry.' Rodan warned.
'Oh, I'm just teasing.' Dawn said.
"Hey Dawn." Sarah said making her look at he but didn't say anything.
"So what brings you guys here?" Dawn asked ignoring her twin who frowned.
'Oh boy.' Sean said.
'We both knew this was unavoidable.' Godzilla said.
"I'm right here." Sarah said.
"You guys enjoy the show?" Dawn asked.
"HEY!" Sarah yelled making her face her twin. "I get it. I screwed up." Sarah said.
"So did he but we all forgive him but you. Why change now?" Dawn asked.
"Sean and I finally reconciled." Sarah said.
"Oh sure. After your death machine killed over a million people in Republic City." Dawn said.
"Dawn." Sean said.
"Sorry...But I refuse to be anywhere near someone who thinks she should be so easily forgiven." Dawn said.
"I'm not asking to be forgiven...I'm asking for another chance. I let my anger blind me. But I'm passed that now." Sarah said.
"Sure...After 30,000 years and did nothing with your long life. We all actually did something but you did not. Wasted Mothra's potential. And your own. I don't wanna see you anymore." Dawn said walking away making Sarah sigh.
"Give me a minute." Sean said walking to her. "Dawn." Sean said.
"Looks...You can give her a second chance and I respect that. But I can't." Dawn said.
"Look I get it. You all forgave me for what I did because it was an accident. She didn't until now. You know I've always wanted this family back together completely after so long. Korra and I are expecting." Sean said surprising her. "I want this family back together for the kid. Can you please do that for me? Please?" Sean asked making her sigh as she looked at Sarah and the others.
"I need a couple days to think on that. Can I have that?" Dawn asked.
"Course, we're not going anywhere any time soon." Sean said making her nod before she walked away as he walked back to the others.
"She's not coming is she?" Sarah asked.
"She just needs a couple days to think is all. We can stay at my home here until then." Sean said.
"You have a home here?" Korra asked surprised.
"Course. I have a home almost everywhere but the North. I asked David to take that one down when Unalaq pulled that stunt of his." Sean said leading them away.
Arriving at his home which was fairly large everyone settled in.
"This is nice." Korra said sitting on a couch.
"Yeah. I have some good memories here...After the war that is." Sean said.
"So what exactly happened between you and Azula?" Korra asked.
"She found out about the Kaiju and tried to kill Aang thinking with the last airbender gone...The Kaiju would come through the breach and she could control them all to continue the war. She wasn't in her right mind when this happened. Aang pretty much anticipated all her moves...And took her bending away. She threatened to expose the Titans to make them sound like monsters that would destroy everything in their path. At the time...Mankind had nearly forgotten about them. If she had succeeded it would have complicated things...I had no choice but to kill her. Drowned her before shattering her body into a thousand pieces." Sean said.
"You make it sound like you feel guilty about it since you did the right thing." Korra said.
"Korra, I hate the idea of taking a life by my own hands. Even if Godzilla is in control. I would rather avoid it completely. I got enough blood on my hands as it is." Sean said.
"Is that why you didn't fight Tarrlok's task force when he tried to arrest arrest those people?" Korra asked.
"Partially. I did surrendered because I knew it was an easy option to avoid people getting hurt. I knew the odds of people getting hurt in that fight were slim but I would rather avoid it for the right reasons. Sometimes it's better to take the easy way to avoid unnecessary risks. Thats something Hitomi taught me a long time ago...I never listened till now." Sean said before they all heard a powerful roar making him widen his eyes.
"DAMN!" Sean yelled rushing outside.
Arriving out of the house they saw Rodan fighting against a swarm of Kaiju who he started burning before one spat some blue liquid which he dodged before it hit the land which turned out to be acid.
"I got two words for ya. Mouth wash!" Dawn yelled before blasting fire at it making it roar in pain before more started swimming them.
'This isn't a fight we can win alone.' Rodan said before they heard a familiar cry making them look seeing Mothra rushing to them before knocking some Kaiju down.
"How bout a fire-air combo." Sarah said making Dawn smirk lightly.
Both started swirling around the Kaiju creating a twister of fire making the Kaiju roar in agonizing pain before it ended leaving nothing but ash behind.
"Whoa." Mako said impressed.
"They may have some issues but they work well together. Always have." Sean said.
Later
"So we gonna talk?" Sarah asked her sister.
"I still can't forgive you for what you did. You put Sean through hell despite he was always there for us and always made time even when he was engaged to Hitomi." Dawn said.
"I know. I screwed up. I broke our family apart. I broke our most valued moral of making no weapons. Even got people killed because of that weapon being used for something I never intended for. But I'm finally thinking straight again. And Sean said he'd give me another chance like Mothra wanted. What about you?" Sarah asked.
"Your my sister. You know the answer to that already." Dawn said making her smile before groaning as she kicked her down. "But don't think that means I'm not gonna get some payback for the next few years." Dawn said amused.
'Oh fucking joy.' Sarah said making Mothra giggle.
'You can't say you don't deserve this.' Mothra said making her sigh.
Later
"Ok we got Dawn and another Titan is taking Rodan's place in keeping the Fire Nation safe." Sean said.
"So David is next." Dawn said.
"Yup. And its where he is though thats gonna be a problem. In the fucking North." Sean said making Tonraq and Senna look at each other.
"We're not gonna join you." Senna said confusing them.
"Why not?" Korra asked.
"We have some issues with the North." Tonraq said.
"Let it go Korra. Thats their choice. We'll head back to the South and get some supplies anyway and drop them off. You sure you wanna go?" Sean asked.
"I'm not scared of Unalaq like I was when I was a little girl. Besides I wanna meet your brother anyway." Korra said.
"All right." Sean said.
Authors Note: And with that Dawn joins the group and gives her sister another chance. Sora your annoying me royally again. Your negativity is annoying. Knock it off or we're gonna have problems again. And if Korra isn't that Attractive please do explain why she's almost always at the top of the crossover harem polls or in the top five. Do explain that. And no one cares about her personalty. It's better than yours and everyone would agree with me since you lash out for stupid reasons. As for the Bleach Story I think You should at least try since I seem to recall you later enjoyed stories you originally said you wouldn't like. And you owe me for all the crap you give me and you might actually get into the series since clearly you've never tried. Get to it. Now Next Chapter is gonna be interesting.
