Chapter 16 A reunited family
Once more Korra and the others were on Godzilla as he swam to the Northern Water Tribe with the other Titans with him.
It's been a week since Dawn joined the group and reconciled with her twin sister.
After that they went back to the South to drop off Korra's parents and got some supplies.
And Bolin had to be left behind since He unintentionally annoyed Dawn by calling her a little kid before he burned him in the ass as he screamed in pain.
Now he was recovering at the healers in the South.
"You sure you're ok going back? After what happened?" Sean asked Korra who was on his head.
"Look...It was 13 years ago. I'll be fine I promise." Korra said.
"You know I'm just concerned for you. It's not easy facing someone who tried to take you away from the family you love." Sean said confusing her.
"Did...Someone try to take you away from your family?" Korra asked.
"Um...Yeah. You could say that. Like I said I was really smart back in the day...Even for members of my family. One scientist in particular noticed right away how gifted I was...And tried to convince my parents to put me in a different school for people like me. I was five at the time...But they didn't believe in separating children from their parents no matter how smart I was...And I didn't want to leave them either." Sean said.
"And he didn't like that." Korra said.
"Nope. A month later he barged in with security robots and tried to take me away by force saying I was too valuable to just grow up in a normal school. Of course the Titans found out about this and stopped him." Sean said.
"All of you?" Korra asked.
"Just the ones in Titan City at the time. We confronted him and told him he had no right to force a child away from his parents without their consent. He argued with us and wouldn't listen to reason...So we had no choice...We destroyed him completely." Godzilla said.
"After that incident an investigation was put into effect if anyone else believed in his flawed view. Thankfully no one did. It was laster revealed the reason he wanted me to be taken away and train me was to have some legacy of training a once in lifetime prodigy." Sean said.
"So his actions were selfish." Korra said.
"They were a rarity in our time. People like him occurred once every few hundred years and were dealt with quickly." Sean said.
"Part of the reason we constantly believe humanity cannot guide itself. Your uncle is proof enough of that." Godzilla said.
"I'm not gonna argue on that one." Korra said before they neared the Northern Water Tribe but took a left turn.
"Uh why are we going that way? The entrance is over there." Mako said.
"You seriously think Unalaq is just gonna let us in the front door? No. So we're going in the other way." Sean said before standing up and let them off on a cliff before he turned human as did the others.
"You've been to the North before Korra right?" Tenzin asked.
"Tenzin...I'm the one who made the Water Tribes." Sean said walking to the Tribe ignoring the shocked look on his face before he looked at Korra who didn't look shocked.
"You knew?" Tenzin asked.
"No but at this point nothing surprises me." Korra said following him before the others joined.
Walking into the tribe Sean smiled looking around.
"Well, look at all this." Sean said seeing everyone actually enjoying themselves.
"Last I heard because of Unalaq's stunt he had to obey the will of the people instead of forcing his ideals on them." Lin said.
"Oh goody. Meaning his pathetic plans are in the trash. Like him." Rodan said.
"What were his plans exactly?" Sarah asked before yelping as Dawn threw her into a fountain before she came up and growled in annoyance. "You are so going to pay for that." Sarah said as Dawn laughed.
"Oy knock it off. His plans to were force his ideals of spiritual enlightenment on the people. But because he kidnapped Korra by faking some BS law about him being allowed to take her because she's the Avatar Godzilla and I got involved and forced him to give her back or else." Sean said.
"Or else...What?" Sarah asked.
"We'd let the Kaiju destroy the north." Sean said.
"Oh come on. Even you wouldn't do that." Sarah said.
"You so sure?" Godzilla asked.
"Anyway we got Korra back and burned the palace which killed his wife and burned half of his son's face. Not exactly what we wanted but his actions brought that upon his family." Sean said.
"Hey." Korra said seeing several people rush to some theater.
"It's a performance theater." Tenzin said.
"Oh boy." Sarah said.
"Give you one guess what that means." Dawn said.
"David is up to his old comedy jokes with those three." Sean said.
"Huh? What three?" Korra asked.
"Ni, Ichi and San. AKA the heads of King Ghidorah." Sean said.
"Wait they have names?" Asami asked.
"You sound surprised." Dawn said.
"Well, I knew the other Titans had their own names but I didn't think the heads of a three headed dragon had more than one." Asami said.
"Well, Ghidorah is a special case." Sean said as they went inside.
When they got inside they saw David performing as Asami looked at him.
He had white skin black hair cut short and blue eyes.
"So thats David." Asami said.
"Yup, the asshole of the family." Sarah said making her giggle.
"Now, Let me tell everyone here about an event during my final weeks in High School. We had this punk who always thought he was better than everyone else because of his family linage. My family and I were extremely rich in those days but we wanted to work for a living to do something with our lives and never thought we were better than anyone else. Now this punk always mocked everyone and one day mocked my family because our parents were dead...Big ass mistake." David said making people laugh.
"Is that all true?" Asami asked.
"The punk part or the fact that our family enjoyed working for a living?" Sean asked.
"The punk." Asami said.
"Yup. And David royally humiliated him." Sean said making Turok chuckle as did Reznov and Julia.
"What did he do?" Korra asked.
"Listen." Sean said.
"Now...This punk always ran his mouth so I decided to teach him a lesson. Now while I was a real good comedian back in the day I still inherited the genius part of the Family. So I decided to use that to my advantage. Now I mixed some chemicals together to make something. Non-Lethal I might add. And when It was done I pour it into his drink during lunch when Reznov distracted him. And then he drank is and didn't notice the taste." David said making people chuckle.
"He didn't die did he?" Asami asked.
"Course not. But it was humiliating." Sean said chuckling.
"Now after class resumed his stomach started making noises and the teacher asked if he was ok. He just groaned holding his stomach before yelling out...BATHROOM!" David yelled making people burst out laughing. "He ran to the bathroom clinching his ass cheeks while letting off a series of farts." David said chuckling as people laughed.
"Ew." Korra said giggling.
"Wait for it." Sean said.
"When he reached the bathroom he bolted into the neared open stall. What he didn't know was that I had put a microphone in the place to send out exactly what was going out through the loudspeakers. When he let loose the sounds were so disgusting and everyone heard it. And everyone just yelled out...EWWWWW!" David yelled making people burst out laughing.
"Oh thats disgusting." Asami said covering her mouth to hold her laughter.
"It gets worse." Sean said.
"And the smell was SO bad! It was just god awful the whole school just fucking ran out the building while he was stuck inside. It was so bad that the decontamination squad actually had to be called in with hazmat suits on rushing in the building. Pulled the bastard out who still had his pants down showing his very little manhood. Probably why he picked on other kids to make himself feel good for lacking what made a man a man." David said making people burst out laughing.
"Oh wow." Korra said.
"It's not over." Sean said.
"Now the school had to be shut down for a week to get the smell out since it was just that bad. And who shows up but the little punk who tried to pick a fight with me saying it was my fault he was humiliated. Now Gigan was in charge of the school back then and when he said he was an innocent victim and had done no wrong this is exactly what Gigan said...Son...You are full of shit...Both Literally and word wise." David said making everyone burst out laughing as did the group. "We never saw him again cause he was so humiliated for that. I kinda felt bad...NOT!" David yelled making everyone laugh. "Until next time folks." David said leaving as the crowd cheered.
David chuckled as he got himself a drink.
"I see you haven't lost your touch in 30,000 years." Sean said leaning on a wall.
"Hey like I said. I got smarts just like the rest of this family...But I enjoy making people laugh." David said as the others showed up before his eyes landed on Sarah. "Sarah?" David asked.
"Hey." Sarah said waving.
"Huh. So you finally got out of that fucking cave...And all it took was your monster killing millions." David said making her groan.
"I never intended it for that and I wasn't thinking straight." Sarah said.
"Oh I'm sure. Still It's clear your finally passed your little issues. Thats good. I've been looking forward to this family being back together. So what brings you all here anyway?" David asked.
"Bringing the old family back together...To welcome a new one." Sean said holding Korra close making him raise an eyebrow.
"What does that mean? Welcome a new one?" David asked.
"Korra and I are expecting." Sean said making him widen his eyes.
"Oh! Congratulations. I was wondering when you'd knock someone up." David said making their eyes twitch while the others laughed.
"The fuck is that supposed to mean?" Sean asked.
"Only you would knock up your girlfriend before marrying her. What would Hitomi said?" David teased before his eyes glowed yellow.
"Probably along the lines of I'LL KILL YOU!" San yelled making Sean said before three dragon heads appeared from his back.
"Meet Ni, Ichi and San...Or as I call the last one...Kevin." David said making San widen his eyes.
"STOP CALLING ME THAT!" San yelled annoyed making his brothers laugh in amusement.
"Kevin?" Asami asked amused.
"It was the name of a dumb friend we had." Sean said.
"So why call him that?" Korra asked.
"Well, one of them has to be the dumb brother." David making Ichi and Ni laugh while San growled at them before going back inside his body.
"I didn't think you guys could have your Titans come out like that." Asami said.
"Oh thats just me since they have three heads it makes it difficult to see which is talking at times." David said.
"So you coming with or what?" Dawn asked.
"Course I am. Just need to get my things before we leave." David said.
"You are not going anywhere." Unalaq said with his personal security with them.
"Ah fuck. I knew this was gonna happen." Sean said.
"You have some nerve showing up here after what you pulled." Unalaq said glaring at Sean.
"You brought that on yourself. What did you think would happen when you took Korra and lied about some BS law that said you could because she was the Avatar." Sean said making him growl.
"I was looking out for Korra's future. I would have trained her to be spiritually enlightened." Unalaq said.
"By taking her away from her parents as a four year old? You broke the rules we set for when the Avatar is to be trained." Sean said.
"The rules you set up?" Unalaq asked.
"We were the ones who made it a rule that no one could reveal the identity of the avatar until he or she was at the age of 16. So they could enjoy their lives before taking their responsibility. Korra was found early because she already showed the signs and was more eager. But the rule was still in place and you broke it for cruel and selfish reasons." Sean said.
"Enough of this. I am going to have you executed for what you did 13 years ago. And that is my promise." Unalaq said.
"And how do you think the tribe and the rest of the world will react to that? Answer. They'll retaliate. The only ones who will back you are the White Lotus because their corrupted and weak. You'll fall within days by the hands of the Fire Nation and republic City and the other Titans. And they will let the Kaiju destroy the north completely." Sean said making him growl.
"Buzz off." David said with lightning coming off him.
"You are not leaving! You have a responsibility to protect the North." Unalaq said.
"I can have another come and protect the North...If we still will it. Truthfully the Northern water Tribe has gone down hill due to leaders like you. The South is more in our favor because they don't force worthless laws on them or have leaders that think more of their own ambitions rather than the needs of their people. Now you can either let us go peacefully or we can start a war." David said making Unalaq growl.
"Out of the fucking way." Sean said pushing him aside as they left while Unalaq seethed in rage.
"NO!" Unalaq roared before blasting him but Sarah took the hit making Sean growl in anger as he faced Unalaq.
"I'm gonna bust you up." Sean said as Godzilla took control with hi form and roared loudly at Unalaq before smacking his tail into him making him crash into a wall with a grunt.
"You are nothing but an insect to us." Godzilla said before a wave of water crashed into Unalaq who growled.
"You have ruined everything for me! I was gonna make my people Spiritually enlightened!" Unalaq yelled.
"Against their will and most likely killed anyone who resisted your ideals. It's people like you who keep proving our point. Humanity cannot lead itself because people like you force your ideals on others without a shred of thought to others." Godzilla said.
"So what! I am the Chief of the Northern Water Tribe and I..." Unalaq tried to say.
"Have a responsibility to look after your people. Their needs come first. Not yours. Enjoy whatever power you have left Unalaq. Soon the Titans will take control again and you will no longer be in charge. There will no longer be humans in charge of the world. For we know how to properly guide them to greatness as we did long ago. We never forced our ideals on them. They willingly accepted our guidance. Only people like you cause trouble for all." Godzilla said making him growl before Sean took control with his body.
"We'll be leaving soon." Sean said as they left.
Later
"Even after all these years he's still an asshole." Korra said holding Sean close.
"I know. But eventually he won't be a problem anymore. The Titans are waking up all over the place." Sean said as they were in David's home with him getting the last of his things."
David sighed as he got one last scroll before putting it in his bag.
"What else am I looking for?" David asked.
"This?" Asami asked holding some scroll.
"Ah thanks." David said taking it.
"What is it?" Asami asked.
"Ah just some old scroll an old student of mine made a couple thousand years ago. Keep for sentimental value." David said making her smile.
"You cared about your students didn't you?" Asami asked.
"We all did. We all gave some pointers for the Avatars back then. It's nice knowing Korra is gonna be the last being with my little brother. I know he dated Yangchen and Kyoshi...But his past kept him from going further." David said.
"Until they met." Asami said seeing them with Sean kissing her stomach making Korra giggle making Asami smile.
"By the way...Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't your father the one who wasted the city?" David asked making her sigh.
"Yeah...He just...Snapped. I understand he was angry with benders for losing mom...But I know not all are bad. Just some. And the problem isn't benders. It's people thats the problem." Asami said as he placed a hand on her shoulder making her look at him.
"Your right on that part. Humanity has always had flaws in its history. Thats why the Titans lead us since they know how to correct those flaws. They led us for a hundred thousand years of peace before the war. And soon they'll lead us again...And problems that you've faced before will be a thing of the past." David said making her smile.
"Thanks." Asami said before they went to the others.
"Ok lets get the fuck outta here. I don't wanna be near Unalaq anymore." Sean said as they left the house.
Only to come face to face again with the White Lotus.
"Oh my god." Sean said annoyed.
"This time we do have authority to execute you."
Unalaq grinned at them.
"Ok...I've had enough." David said before his body glowed before Ghidorah stood up shocking the White Lotus.
"That is your compound over there is it not?" Ichi asked looking to a small compound outside the tribe.
"What about it?" The leader asked before Ghidorah's body glowed before blasting it with lightning making it blow up shocking the White Lotus.
"Another attempt like that and that will be the entire order. Understand?" San asked making them gulp.
"I...Yes we understand." The Leader said before Ni lowered his head down.
"Everyone on. Ladies first." Ni said making the girls giggle as they got on.
"Oh and just curious...How is your son's social life with that burn mark on his face?" Sean mocked making him growl before Sean jumped on Ni's head before Ghidorah took off.
"That rather cruel." Ichi said.
"I usually don't mock people for something they didn't really deserve but Unalaq gets under my fucking skin." Sean said.
"I don't blame you." David said as they flew back to the South.
Later
Everyone was back in the Southern Water Tribe back at Sean's place celebrating having the family back together after 30,000 years.
Sean noticed everyone enjoying themselves before seeing Korra with her mother.
"Hey Korra." Sean said getting her attention. "You mind coming with me for a minute?" Sean asked.
"Sure." Korra said before the two left.
"Wonder what thats about?" Lin asked before Tonraq and Senna grinned at each other.
Sean had Led Korra to the the edge of a cliff. A place Korra remembered all too well. Where she met Sean and Godzilla the first time 13 years ago.
"Sean? What are we doing here?" Korra asked as he smiled at her.
"Korra...I want you to close your eyes for a minute." Sean said making her look at him. "Trust me." Sean said.
"I don't know what you're doing but fine." Korra said closing her eyes.
"Korra...Ever since I met you when I found you here my life has changed drastically. All for the better. I helped train you to the Avatar you've become today. Someone, Wise, Powerful, Compassionate and understanding." Sean said making her smile. "And you've helped me as well. Helped me move past the dark parts of my past. Never Judged me for my mistakes and stood by me despite my actions of my past. Helped me heal from the wounds I suffered from losing people I cared about. And now...A child on the way. A family of my own because of you. Theres just one thing missing." Sean said making her snort.
"Oh please. What would that be?" Korra asked.
"Open your eyes and find out." Sean said making her do so.
Only to gasp in shock seeing him with a Engagement necklace with what she knew was Mothra's symbol.
"Sean...I...I..." Korra tried to say.
"Korra...Will you marry me?" Sean asked making her tear up.
"Yes!" Korra cried holding him close wanting to savor this moment for as long as she could.
Sean then put the necklace around her before she touched it.
"Well?" Sean asked.
"It's perfect." Korra said before she kissed him. "By the way. Nice idea picking Mothra's symbol." Korra said making him chuckle as he held her close. "I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. And I always will...For everything you've done for me." Sean said.
Authors Note: And with that the Family is finally reunited after so many years. And now Sean and Korra are engaged. I'm starting to get the hang of this wedding chapter thing since I hate weddings.
