Chapter 18 Godzilla
Its been a couple months since the White Lotus had gone off the deep end and had used old technology to control the Titans and used them to fight Sean and the others to kill him since they wouldn't accept he had changed.
And now their reputation was getting lower and lower by the day. Forced out of the Water Tribes and Fire nation and kicked out of Republic City so they couldn't go to Hiroshi for more technology to use.
The Earth queen was indifferent about the situation but claimed they had no right to stay in her kingdom out of concern they may try to turn on her.
So now they were pretty much unwanted by all and at rock bottom.
And Sean was enjoying every second of it since while it pained him to see the group Iroh once led with such honor and dignity reduced to corrupted fools who only cared about their reputations he knew he would agree with him this needed to be done.
Right now Sean and Korra were in their home in the South watching an old movie from the days when Technology was just a bit more advanced than it was in this current time.
"Terror of Mecha Godzilla?" Korra asked amused as she giggled. "I can see where Sarah got the Idea from." Korra said.
"Ha! I used to love these movies when I was a kid. My brothers and I used to watch these kind of movies everyday after school." Sean said.
"I would think the Titans would be insulted by this." Korra said.
"Hardly. We found it more amusing than anything." Godzilla said as his movie version fought against Mecha Godzilla.
"I Kinda like the Heisei and Millennium versions better. Bit more better graphics and the monsters look more realistic." Korra said.
"Well, actually..." Sean tried to say before the door opened up and David and the others walked in. "Can't you guys wait till I answer the fucking door?" Sean asked annoyed.
"We might have a problem." David said making him raise an eyebrow.
"What is it now? Is it the White Lotus or Unalaq?" Sean asked.
"The White Lotus." Zuko said walking in.
"Zuko? The hell you doing here?" Sean asked surprised.
"Cause the problem is in the fire nation. Recently my scouts have reported the White Lotus has been digging on a remote island in the Fire Nation." Zuko said.
"Why come to me? Why not deal with it yourselves? The White Lotus is all weak in this generation." Sean said.
"Normally yes I would deal with it myself...But my scouts also reported something...Strange." Zuko said.
"Strange how?" Godzilla asked.
"When they got close on the island there was some kind of pulse that knocked out electrical equipment. And they swore they heard some kind of strange sounds. It sounds like they may have found a Titan." Zuko said.
"I am not taking chances of those idiots trying to take control of another Titan for their own personal use all over again." Sean said.
"My forces will go with you to ensure nothing happens. If they are trying to take control of this Titan they are allowed to use deadly force." Zuko said.
"All right let's get moving." Sean said.
Later
Everyone was heading to the island while Korra was on a Republic Battleship as Sean and the others arrived on the island.
"You really think The White Lotus are trying to take control of another Titan?" Mako asked.
"I would bet anything on that. After all they took control of some really powerful ones to get to me. That failed because Kong showed up." Sean said.
"Enough Chit Chat. Lets move." Lin said as they moved in deeper.
Arriving deeper into the island they saw a small facility here that was around some large cave.
Lin was about to use her radio but it suddenly went fuzzy.
"The hell?" Lin asked shaking it around.
"Thats odd." Sean said before they moved in deeper.
In the center of the cave was a large amount of White Lotus members.
The Leader was up on the viewing platform.
"How much long will this take?" The Leader asked impatient.
"We don't know. But it's been acting strange since we arrived." Another said.
"We must hurry before Godzilla and the others learn of this." The Leader said.
"Too late." Sean said shocking him and the others. "You haven't learned a damn thing. Trying to take control of another Titan all over again." Sean said glaring at them.
"NO! Not take control. We're trying to wake it up." The Leader said.
"Excuse me?" Lin asked.
"We figured if we helped the titans awaken it would repair the damage you dealt to us." The Leader said.
"You did that to yourselves. And you can't force them to wake up. Some still need time to awaken since many sustained injuries that were great." Sean said.
"Is that why this one is in this cocoon?" The Leader asked.
"Coccon? What Co..." Sean tried to say before looking out and widened his eyes.
In the center of the cave was some strange glowing Cocoon that was pulsing a lot.
"We found it by chance months ago. At first it was inactive but over the last two months since we opened the cave it's been active. We believe it is about to hatch. And the White Lotus will be thanked for awakening a Titan." The Leader said proudly.
"YOU FOOLS!" Godzilla roared shocking him before the Cocoon started breaking apart before some Large grey skinned Monster with glowing Red eyes came out and roared loudly as Godzilla broke through the glass and turned into his form and roared at it before it roared at him as they both fought one another.
"What? Why are they fighting?" The Leader asked confused before this New Titan bites down on Godzilla's shoulder making him roar before slamming him into a wall making a hole before it flew off.
Korra saw this and widened her eyes as it flew off as Godzilla roared in rage.
"Oh boy something has him really pissed." Korra said knowing something was wrong.
Next day
Everyone was on the battleship heading off to find that Titan.
"YOU FUCKING MORONS!" Sean roared at the White Lotus who flinched. "Do you have any idea what you have done?" Sean questioned.
"All we did was help free a Titan. I don't see the problem. Or why Godzilla became so angry." The Leader said.
"I can't believe I'm saying this but I agree with them." Lin said.
"Sean...Whats going on? You both seem to be on edge from this Titan. Is it a Kaiju?" Tenzin asked.
"No. That was a Titan...But not a good one." Godzilla said.
"What do you mean not a good one? I thought all of you were good?" Korra asked.
"Not...Exactly. It's time I told you all the Truth. When Humanity first crawled out of the mud. I was the first to see the potential they had. So I discussed this with the other Titans. Ghidorah, Destroyah, Mothra, Rodan, Orga, Biollante and many others." Godzilla said.
"The seven of us all agreed that humanity had great potential." Ichi said.
"However..." Ni said.
"Some had other thoughts that were...Concerning." San said.
"Meaning what?" The Leader asked.
"I don't think we were talking to you. This whole thing is your fault and lives could be on the line." Destroyah said making him gulp.
"What exactly are you talking about?" Korra asked.
"Some like that one we call his kind MUTOs. They had a more violent view of humanity. And his kind and others who supported them...Started attacking humans for mere amusement. And when Mothra saw this she told me." Godzilla said.
"We tried our very best to make them see humanity could become something great in years to come with proper guidance." Mothra said.
"Some agreed." Destroyah stated.
"But just didn't care." Rodan said.
"They attacked humans for sport and amusement and laughed about it. After so many debates about this enough was enough. A war broke out between our kind. My side leading those who believed humanity should be treated as equals. And those who believed they were nothing but toys for their amusement. They were both overmatched and outnumbered and overpowered. The war lasted for ten years before they were destroyed...Or at least most of them. Until the White Lotus got involved." Godzilla said glaring at them.
"How is that our fault? How were we supposed to know that? You made it sound as though the Titans all cared about humanity." The Leader said making him snarl.
"You should have told us about this one before focusing on your reputation. And everyone who dies from this...That blood will be on your hands. Be certain of that." Godzilla said.
"So...How many survived?" Korra asked.
"Not many. A small handful without question. This one is young but its instincts about humanity are the same as the rest of his kind without question." Godzilla said.
"We need to find out where it's going. If its heading for Republic City we need to evacuate." Tenzin said.
"This one is young so it won't go far yet. My best guess is it will head straight for the closest island it can find." Godzilla said.
"That would be...Ember Island." Iroh said.
"Then thats where we go to. Set course for Ember island and warn them that an attack is coming." Sean said making him rush off.
After that Sean was on a briefing room sitting down.
"You never told me there were bad Titans." Korra said walking in before sitting next to him.
"There aren't...Not anymore until today. Some Titans just couldn't accept Godzilla's ideology about them leading humanity to greatness. They knew we had the potential for what we were 30,000 years ago...They just didn't care. The worst of them all was a Titan known as Cykor. Yonggary was the one who defeated him but he wasn't certain he was actually killed." Sean said. (Cykor from reptilian 1999)
"So what do we do about the MUTO?" Korra asked.
"We kill it for good. And be on alert for any others that might have survived that are against us." Godzilla said.
Later
The fleet soon arrived at Ember island and warned them ahead of the potential threat.
Reznov and a few United forces soldiers were inside the jungle looking for the Muto.
"Kruger? Are we sure it's even here? It could have just rested for a minute and then flown off." Reznov said on the radio.
"Better to be safe than sorry. Besides if its here theres a reason for it." Sean said.
"Why would it choose to come here?" Iroh said.
"Any number of reasons. Maybe it's looking for something." Sean said.
"Something?" Tenzin asked.
"Even Titans buried some things before mankind for certain reasons. If a past Muto did so then it would explain why this one is here." Sean said.
"You mean like a food source?" Korra asked.
"Maybe. It's not gonna win a fight against all of us." Sean said
Reznov and his team continued to move forward when they felt the ground shake.
"Uh Kruger. I think we found something." Reznov said.
"What is it?" Sean asked.
Reznov and his team continued on their way before they found the MUTO digging a massive hole in the ground.
"It's looking for something. Probably why it came here." Reznov said before a yellow glow was seen before it grabbed some large yellow stone. "It has some kind of yellow stone. I've never seen anything like. But I can feel power coming off of it." Reznov said before it spotted them and roared before slamming its left wing down creating a wave of power that blasted them back.
"Rez? Rez!" Sean yelled before rushing off.
Heading off the top he jumped into the water before Godzilla took form and rushed to the land.
Several People who remained screamed in terror as the MUTO walked away before a screeching sound was heard making it pause as two pairs of eight legs came out of the ground before two Large Spiders appeared and roared at the Muto. Kumonga and Black Widow. (The first from Final Wars the second from Godzilla the Series but its called Giant Mutant Widow Spider)
Kumonga launched a spider web at the MUTO in the face making it roar before Kumonga jumped on him.
"GET OFF!" The MUTO yelled before Black Widow jumped on the back and bit him making him roar before throwing them off. "Pathetic insects." The MUTO said annoyed before Godzilla roared at him.
"Your kind haven't changed at all." Godzilla said before looking at the stone and snarled. "I don't know why you would need that since you're all alone." Godzilla said before another roar was heard making them look seeing a large Green Reptilian monster with red eyes and a clubbed Tail. This was Togera a distant relative of Godzilla like Zilla and Yonggary. (From War of the Monsters video game)
"I'm surprised your kind still live after you're treachery." Togera said glaring at the MUTO.
"Arrogant fools! Whoever said I was alone!" The MUTO yelled before flying off quickly.
"What did he mean by that?" Sean asked.
"I don't know. But something tells me we'll find out soon enough." Togera said.
Later
"What was that thing anyway?" Korra asked.
"That was an energy stone. It's used for the young of our kind. Like a food source. Though I find it strange he would go after it. He's the only one left." Godzilla said.
"I'm not so sure about that. He said what made us think he was the only one left. Meaning theres probably another. But where is the question." Tenzin said.
"And I just found out where." Sarah said with some digital screen.
"What is it?" Dawn asked.
"I used an old drone that was left from the vault I used to keep Mecha Godzilla. And I found this in the Earth Kingdom." Sarah said before showing another MUTO.
"Theres another one?" Korra asked in shock.
"But this one doesn't have any wings. Why?" Asami asked.
"Because it's a damn female. So...Both are gonna meet up and use that stone to raise a new army. And with only certain Titans awake...It's gonna be difficult." Sean said.
"Ok so we know that they intend to create an army. They would need a place to nest. Where would the best place for that be?" Iroh asked
"They would want it to be in a place that holds significant meaning to all of us. Someplace they know is important." Ichi said.
"Republic City. Its the only place that they would go. To start their new army and start a new war against us. However that might actually be a good thing to be honest." Godzilla said.
"A good thing?" Lin asked confused.
"Republic City has already suffered through a lot of damage because of Hiroshi using Mecha Godzilla. Meaning most of the area has been abandoned while it's under new construction. Not that it matters. Soon enough we'll be using the Matrix to rebuild Titan City. Making a new start again." Sean said.
"So the battle is more or less destroying whats going to be torn down anyway." Asami said.
"Basically. Though still we should warn them about the attack." Godzilla said.
"We can't the radios there were fried during an electrical storm. We can't warn them in time." Iroh said.
"That complicates things. We're gonna have to try and force the MUTOs away from the most inhabited parts of the City." Godzilla said.
"And we need to destroy the nest before more of them hatch and mature. When they do it'll make things difficult and with the amount of Titans awakened right now it would be a slaughter." Ichi said.
"So heres the plan. Godzilla will keep them occupied while the rest of us look for the nest and destroy it." David said.
"It is a sound plan. But still going up against Two Titans is difficult." Tenzin said.
"We can handle it." Godzilla said as they left the room.
Korra however sighed knowing things might not go as planned.
Meanwhile
Deep within the ocean Zilla swam to a large pile of rocks.
"Awaken." Zilla said.
Suddenly a pair of yellow eyes opened up and growled.
Later
David and the others were in Republic city that was even more damaged seeing the MUTOs had pretty much trashed the place covered in a mist.
"Fucking hell. When Ichi and the others told us about how destructive these kind of Titans were I thought they might have been exaggerating." David said.
"Now we know they weren't." Lin said as they heard roaring in the distance making them look seeing the Female digging a hole before doing something.
"The hell is she doing?" Mako asked.
"Isn't it obvious? She's laying her eggs." Turok said as the Female MUTO screeched.
"This isn't good. If those eggs hatch and they start maturing we're gonna have even bigger issues." David said before Godzilla roared getting the Female's attention before she started laughing.
"Your too late! Soon enough I'll have an army to take all you on! And then Revenge is ours! The Human race will be nothing but toys for us!" The Female yelled before charging right at him as Godzilla smacked his tail into her.
"Lets go." David said as they rushed to the nest.
Godzilla roared before bitting into her shoulder making her roar as Godzilla slammed her into a building.
"You still fight for yourselves! That is why you lose!" Godzilla yelled slamming her down hard.
David and the others arrived outside the nest. There they saw hundreds of eggs.
"Oh man! Theres no way we can destroy all of them before they hatch." Mako said.
"Actually we can. Look." Turok said seeing a gas station right next to the eggs. "We blow that thing up we can kill every last one of them easily." Turok said.
"Good idea." Lin said.
Godzilla roared as he slammed the Female into another building making it topple over.
Thats when the Male arrived and stabbed him with his wings making him roar in pain before the Female rammed into him making him fall over.
"The both of you can't defeat me." Godzilla said before the ground under them exploded. "What!" Godzilla yelled out.
Coming out of the ground was a large Titan that stood on four legs with claw like hands and roared loudly.
"Remember me...Traitor?"
"Cykor. So you are still alive. Not surprised." Godzilla said before standing up and roared at them.
Thats when the breach opened up and dozens of Kaiju came out from it and roared loudly.
"Oh shit." David said as he blasted the gas station making it blow up killing the eggs.
"NOOO!" The Female roared.
"It doesn't matter. The Kaiju will help us end you both. And when this is over we'll turn the human race into our slaves." Cykor said laughing.
Thats when a powerful roar was heard making him pause.
"It can't be." Cykor said.
(Insert Battle in Boston from Godzilla King of the Monsters)
The ground began to shake as a deep growl was heard.
"Oh no way." David said.
"What is it?" Asami asked.
"Your in for a treat." Turok said.
Suddenly emerging from the mist was another Godzilla shocking the others.
But this one was 20 meters smaller and had more sharp spikes on his back as he roared at the Kaiju and evil Titans. (Godzilla 2000)
"You must be joking!" The Male MUTO yelled.
Godzilla 2000 growled at the Enemy before two more appeared behind him. (Godzilla Heisei and Final Wars)
Also coming out of the Mist was Zilla, Yonggary and Togera who roared at the Enemy.
"I'll finish you myself!" Cykor yelled blasting Godzilla who dodged before blasting Atomic breath at his hand blowing it off making him roar in pain.
Two more Godzilla showed up out of the Mist with one being nearly the same size as the primary Godzilla but looked more terrifying. (Godzilla GMK and Shin Godzilla)
Godzilla 2000 roared before blasting several Kaiju with red atomic breath before Godzilla Heisei did the same to the Male Muto.
Togera roared as he smacked his tail into the Female making her roar before he breathed a green mist version of Atomic breath making her roar in pain.
Godzilla Final Wars blasted several Kaiju with Atomic breath before smacking his tail into them making them crash into buildings which toppled over them killing them instantly.
Shin Godzilla looked seeing Several Kaiju flying were about to swarm him only for him to grin as he shot Atomic lasers from his back killing them instantly as they fell.
"Hence the reason I'm the second strongest of my brethren." Shin Godzilla said.
Zilla roared as he bit the head off of one Kaiju before Yonggary fought Cykor who looked enraged seeing him.
"YOU TRAITOR!" Cykor yelled charged at him but he dodged before smacking his tail into him.
"Your the Traitor. You and all the others who saw humans as nothing but bugs while we saw good in them." Yonggary said before blasting his head off before firing in the wound making his body explode.
Godzilla roared as he fought against the MUTOs as the male was about to attack him.
However suddenly the sky lit up before another Godzilla known as Space Godzilla appeared and roared before slamming him into a building before a rail was lodged into his head killing him.
The Female Roared before charging at Godzilla only for him to grab her and opened her mouth open.
"Say hello to the other traitors in hell for me!" Godzilla yelled before breathing Atomic breath into her mouth before her head slowly came off as he roared into the air in victory.
"A family reunion." Ichi said.
"Yup." Destroyah said.
Later
"Why didn't you tell me there other Godzillas out there?" Korra asked.
"It tried before all this crap started. You don't seriously think theres only one of every Titan do ya? That might be true for Destroyah and a few others but some species of Titans have other family members. Technically speaking Ghidorah has a few family members like him." Sean said.
"Oh. I guess that makes sense." Korra said.
"So what happens now?" Mako asked.
"The White Lotus took a major blow again because of their actions. It's because of them all this crap started." Sean said.
"Proving once again how corrupt they are." Tenzin said sadly.
"Groups like them always change over time. Either good or bad. It's how things work right now." Sean said.
"What about Republic City? No way is anyone gonna come back now. It'll take forever to rebuild." Lin said.
"We believe it's time to use the Matrix. To use it to recreate Titan City. With so many Titans awake we think its a good idea to rebuild what was lost for 30,000 years. And we're gonna set up a little test to prove if Humans can lead other humans by allowing the people to elect a leader. If he or she does a good job the position will remain. However if this person proves to be selfish and corrupt...It'll prove once and for all that only the Titans can lead mankind. He or she will think they have all the power of Titan City. But in truth they won't." Sean said.
"Thats not a bad idea." Tenzin said.
"Good. We'll start up next month." Sean said.
Authors Note: Wow that was intense. Kinda short I know but since this was in the modern world I had to take a lot of things out and improvise. But more Godzillas showing up I'll bet most of you didn't see that one coming now did ya? Now Next Chapter is the Return of Titan City.
