Chapter 24 Civil War
Korra was completely beyond annoyed.
Her uncle brought his entire Northern Army to the South and now they were treating her people like garbage.
And he tried to turn her against her father by revealing his past.
It no worse than what Sean did and he learned from his mistakes into the wise and honorable person he is now.
"Maybe I didn't make myself clear. I want you and your army of Thugs to leave. NOW!" Korra yelled at her uncle.
"I can't. Now that you've opened the Spirit portal I need to protect it from those who would do the spirits harm." Unalaq said.
"Oh so that gives you the right to treat my people like they don't matter. Yeah that makes perfect sense." Korra said sarcastically.
"I'll make sure they know they can't do that. Last thing I want is to provoke the Titans...Or you're so called Husband." Unalaq said before groaning as she punched him in the stomach.
"Call him my SO called Husband again and I'll have him smash you. Now what do you want?" Korra asked tired of his games.
"I have one last task for you. There is another portal in the North. Once you open it, Spirits and man will be able to move freely between one another in a matter of seconds." Unalaq said.
"Incase you're forgetting the Solstice is over. How am I supposed to open it?" Korra asked.
"The Spiritual energy is much stronger in the North. Now that you've opened the portal so will you." Unalaq said as she glared at him.
"If I do this and you don't leave...I'll ask Godzilla to make the Titans stop protecting the North. And thats not a threat it's a promise." Korra said as she left as he frowned at her.
Arriving at her home she smiled seeing Sean on the couch asleep before she went to the cribs seeing Junior and Hitomi asleep before she kissed them both.
"Took me a while but I managed to calm them down." Sean said not sitting up making her smile as she walked to him and sat down with him. "You ok?" Sean asked making her sigh.
"Yeah...Just pissed. Unalaq tried to turn me against my dad by revealing his past." Korra said.
"You mean how he angered spirits and got banished?" Sean asked making her look at him in surprise.
"You knew?" Korra asked.
"Course I knew. He told me when you were still a little girl when I trained you. It was no worse than what I did." Sean said.
"I know. I just hate how he forced my dad to reveal his past. I can't believe we're related." Korra said.
"I know. But you chose the person you wanted to be even as the Avatar. And he chose who he wanted to be. Your kind, Caring, Wise and understanding. He's cruel, Vile, Judgmental and uncaring." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"Thanks." Korra said before Hitomi started crying making her smile as she went to her crib and picked her up. "Shh. Mommy's here." Korra said calming her down instantly making Korra smile. "I missed you so much sweetie." Korra said kissing her forehead as she yawned and fell asleep again.
Meanwhile
Tenzin and his wife along with his one year old son were outside the temple with Kya feeding the animals while Turok was in a hammock sleeping.
"Ahh, I haven't felt this at peace since..." Tenzin tried to say.
"Wahoo!" Bumi yelled jumping out in a robe with his underwear on making Turok growl as he woke up.
"And it's over." Tenzin said.
"Good morning universe!" Bumi yelled with his robe opened making Kya cover her eyes.
"Bumi, Please. Cover yourself!" Kya yelled mortified.
"Well, Lookee here. Vacation Tenzin has finally decided to join us...AHHH!" Bumi yelled as Destroyah blasted him into the ground.
"I was enjoying a nice nap." Destroyah said annoyed.
"And I've really enjoyed having you two around. Reminds me of all those great vacations we took as kids with dad." Tenzin said.
"Uh, I think your memory is a little foggy. Bumi and I weren't on those great vacations." Kya said.
"No, that can't be right." Tenzin said.
"Sadly unfortunately it is. We all noticed he we neglecting them and confronted him about it later when you just turned 18. He was actually mortified by that." Turok said.
"Oh so thats why Dad started hanging around us more after that." Bumi said.
"He never meant for that to happen he just got caught up in his time with Tenzin he didn't notice till it till we told him. Though Dawn did kick him in the balls for that calling him a favorite playing prick." Turok said making Kya giggle.
Suddenly Jinora and Meelo arrived.
"Having fun you two?" Turok asked.
"Yup." Jinora said grinning
"Wait...Wheres Ikki?" Pemma asked concerned.
"Who?" Jinora asked making her frown.
"Ikki. About this tall. Talks a lot." Pema said.
"Were you two teasing her now?" Turok asked.
"No!...Yes." Jinora said looking down.
"She ran away." Meelo said making Pema growl.
"Honestly I don't know why you three can't get along!" Pema scolded them.
"Oh relax. All siblings fight. Even mine did. Anyway we might as well go after her." Turok said.
Meanwhile
Everyone was at one of Sean's places in the South talking about the situation of Unalaq taking over.
"Everyone knock it off!" Sean yelled getting everyone to stop talking. "I know everyone here is frustrated by whats been going on since Unalaq and his thugs arrived. But we can't lose our heads." Sean said.
"Personally I think we need to lose our heads." Varrick said eating some food.
"I didn't ask for your opinion Varrick. Your not doing anything to help or offering any solutions." Sean said.
"Want a solution? It's simple. We take Unalaq out of picture. He's already taken all our chieftains and treated everyone like second rate citizens. I say we take him down for good." Varrick said making people agree.
"QUIET!" Sean yelled shutting them up. "I am not gonna have the South go to war with the North. We'll handle things my way. First thing we need to do..." Sean tried to say.
"Why should we listen to you anyway? For Someone who's got all that power you sure are soft. I say I should take charge. We should go to war." Varrick said before Godzilla took control and his form before roaring at him making him yell in shock as Godzilla slammed his tail into him making him crash into a wall.
"BE SILENT!" Godzilla roared.
"Yes, Sir." Varrick said afraid.
"Easy now." Korra said.
"Look. I get everyone is frustrated and upset by all this. But just picking a fight is not gonna solve anything. I know for a fact that Unalaq has an agenda here. And it's not to unify the people. What we need to be right now is to be calm and wait. I promise we will put an end to this soon enough." Sean said.
Soon enough most of the people left.
"What do you think Unalaq is really up to?" Korra asked holding Junior who snored.
"I know it has something to do with the Southern Spirit portal. We've known about that thing for a long time." Sean said.
"Unalaq said the Titans hadn't opened it yet. I know it had to have been sealed for a reason." Korra said.
"Indeed. I know that one of the original Avatars sealed it away. And also that the number of Spirits had declined when the Avatar arrived. I assume that perhaps he or she decided to send the spirits back to their world and sealed both portals until the Titans could fully return. At least thats what the all of us minus Sarah believed. We thought perhaps it was for the best. Spirits and man always fought one another back in those days while most of the Titans slept." Sean said.
"What if there was another reason?" Korra asked.
"Perhaps there is one. Or it could be nothing. We are only left to wonder." Godzilla said.
"For now though we keep a close eye on Unalaq. I'm not gonna have Varrick start a civil war for profit." Sean said.
"You really think he's that greedy?" Korra asked.
"His entire expression says it all." Sean said.
Later
A group of Norther Water tribe soldiers walked through the town as everyone else glared at them making them glare back.
Suddenly however Snowballs hit them.
"Who threw those?" The Leader asked before looking up seeing a group of children laughing before he waterbent them down making them scream.
"You hoodlums think you're tough, Huh?" One asked.
"Pick on a waterbender your own size." One of the Southerners said with others backing him up before they readied themselves.
Thats when Korra arrived on Naga.
"Knock it off!" Korra said.
"Tell these thugs to go back to the North. They're not welcome here anymore!"
"These southerners need to stay in line."
"Your the ones out of line. Your treating them like they don't have any rights. It's like you want a war." Korra said.
"And what if we do? What are you and your monster Husband gonna do about it? Maybe we should pay a visit to your halfbreed spawns."
Korra looked absolutely enraged before Lava serpents appeared and roared shocking the northern troops.
"Care to say that again?" Korra asked.
Only for Atomic breath to blast the heads of the Northern troops making her look seeing Sean walking to them.
"I hate taking lives like that but threatening the twins is over the line." Sean said as the serpents vanished as the Southerners left.
"This is getting out of hand. I never should have agreed to work for Unalaq." Korra said.
"Don't blame yourself honey. We knew he was gonna pull something. Just not this. But right now we need to focus on finding out why he wanted that portal opened up. Was he trying to bring back the spirits hoping more would be like him? Or perhaps theres something we're not aware." Sean said.
"How can you not know?" Korra asked.
"Remember we were asleep when the First Avatar was created. As were all the others including Mothra. We have no idea what transpired during the first Avatar and Titan that was awake during that time has gone into a deep sleep since we believe with the Avatar they could protect mankind while we recovered. So any events during that time are unknown to us." Godzilla said.
"Yeah I guess that makes sense. I'm connected to my past lives but I've only managed to connect to Avatars from the last 1,000 years. I still need more training before I can contact the original. Maybe I should have stuck to Tenzin's idea and gone with him." Korra said.
"Don't second guess yourself. It leads to downfall." Godzilla said.
"We'll find out soon enough in time. If theres one thing I know is that the past never stays forgotten forever. Eventually it becomes known to all." Sean said making her sigh.
"I hope so." Korra said.
Meanwhile
"Ikki? Ikki where are you?" Tenzin called out.
"Over here, Dad!" Bumi called out in a child like voice before appearing from the bushes laughing. "Just kidding. It's me." Bumi said making him sigh as Kya rushed to them.
"There's no sign of her anywhere." Kya said.
"Why would Ikki run off like this?" Tenzin asked.
"What do you expect? Her brother and Sister teased her so she ran off." Turok said.
"Ah, It's probably my fault." Tenzin said.
"Probably." Kya said.
"Excuse me?" Tenzin asked.
"I'm guessing you've been so busy with your DUTY to republic City when it was around that you forgot your duty to your kids." Kya said.
"Duty." Bumi said laughing.
"What are you. Five years old?" Kya asked.
"Kya, your right. I haven't been spending enough time with them. I wish I could be as good a father as dad was to us." Tenzin said.
"IDIOT!" Destroyah roared at him making him jump in shock.
"Perhaps you're forgetting your father unintentionally played favorites. Don't say he was good unless it was completely true which its not. He was as flawed as everyone else in this era." Turok said.
"Yes, I'm still having trouble accepting that part." Tenzin said.
"Even though I was adopted my parents always made sure that all of us had equal attention. When they got killed in the labs my brothers did the same to all of us. Hence why when all The Titans return those flaws in people will be gone minus an extremely rare few." Turok said.
"Lets just continue our search." Destroyah said.
Meanwhile
Senna walked into Korra's home seeing her holding a sleeping Hitomi in her arms with a smile.
"Korra?" Senna asked getting her attention.
"Hey Mom." Korra said as she sat down next to her.
"Are you ok?" Senna asked making her sigh.
"No. I'm ticked off. I knew working working with Unalaq was a bad idea from the start. And whats worse is he exposed Dad's past like it was the worst sin you could make." Korra said.
"So you finally know." Senna said.
"You knew?" Korra asked.
"Course I did. Your father told me shortly after we met. What he did didn't matter to me. It was in the past. And he moved on from it. Its part of the reason I never judged Sean for what he did. People make mistakes. It's in our nature. It's not something that can be helped. When the Titans all come back I know those mistakes will be less and less common." Senna said making her sigh.
"I know. I just don't know what to do. It feels like a Civil war is coming soon." Korra said.
"Korra the problems between the North and the South happened long before you were even born. You can't fix them in a day. And even more so with Unalaq around if he's in charge or not. He'll always make life difficult. And things might have gotten even worse." Senna said.
"What are you talking about?" Korra asked.
"Varrick has been stirring up trouble here. He's convinced some of the Tribe to start a civil war. And I think he plans to go after Unalaq." Senna said shocking her.
"What! Tell me Dad isn't part of this?" Korra asked.
"I don't know. But I don't want you getting involved with this." Senna said before Korra handed Hitomi to her.
"I have to. As much as I hate Unalaq I know if I do nothing things will only get worse. Keep an eye on the twins till I get back." Korra said rushing outside and got on Naga.
Arriving at where he uncle was she found his guards to be knocked out.
"Oh, thats just perfect." Korra said annoyed before rushing to his room only to find some rebels outside his door before someone carried him out knocked out cold. "Let him go and walk away." Korra said.
"Turn around, Avatar, and pretend you didn't see anything." One of them said.
"Look I get it. He's taking away everyones freedom and stomping all over you. But this isn't gonna solve anything. It's only gonna make things worse. Now drop him and just..." Korra tried to say before water engulfed them and froze them minus Unalaq.
"You can't persuade everyone." Godzilla said approaching her.
"Not everyone is easily swayed. Anger and frustration can cloud one's judgment. It's human nature." Sean said making her sigh.
"I know. And it sucks." Korra said as Unalaq came too.
Soon the men were arrested.
"Find Varrick. And bring him to me." Unalaq said getting the guards. "You have my thanks for..." Unalaq tried to say.
"We didn't save you because we care. We only did it because we didn't want things to get worse. If the roles had been reversed you would have let my father die." Korra said.
"Thats not true I assure you." Unalaq said.
"No? When have you ever cared for my family? All you've done is try to take me away from them and revealed his past like he was nothing but a criminal. Name one time you've cared about my family?" Korra asked making him frown knowing he had no answer. "I thought as much...I'm going to close the Spirit portal." Korra said shocking him.
"YOU CAN'T! If you do that the Dark Spirits..." Unalaq tried to say.
"Funny how they only showed up when you did. Your behind that and I'm willing to bet you lied about the South being out of balance just to have me open it. If the Titans didn't open it the answer is they didn't think it was the right time. And you know what? Neither do I now. I'm closing it and thats final." Korra said.
"I agree." Sean said as they left making him growl.
Meanwhile
Bumi grumbled as Kya used her waterbending to heal him.
"I told you those rocks were slippery. You're lucky you didn't kill yourself." Kya said annoyed.
"You done with the lecture, Mom?" Bumi asked annoyed.
"Oh, Grow up. You haven't changed one bit since we were kids. You're still trying to prove you can do everything a bender can. Well, you can't. Deal with it." Kya said.
"And your not our mother. You don't get to tell me what I can and can't do. So deal with that. UGH!" Bumi said as she dropped the water she used on his head.
"Good luck healing yourself with your non bending powers." Kya said as he shook off all the water.
"Hey, back me up here, Tenzin." Bumi said.
"Kya's right. You're the oldest of us, but you always acted like the youngest. I had to become the responsible one." Tenzin said.
"You think you're the responsible one? Where were you after Dad died and Mom was all alone? Because I was the only one who packed up and moved my whole life to be with her." Kya said angered greatly by that remark.
"Sure, after years of flitting around the world, trying to find yourself. It was time for you to settle down somewhere. You two have no idea how it feels to have the future of an entire culture on your shoulders." Tenzin said.
"Oh, Boo-Hoo. Must've been real hard for you, flying around the world with dad. Riding Elephant-Koi all day." Bumi said.
"Oh so thats what this is about." Tenzin said.
"Thats's what it's always been about. You think you're some savior who has to carry on Dad's legacy." Kya said.
"Who else is going to do it?" Tenzin asked.
"How bout all of us?" Kya said.
"Yeah, we're Aang's kids too." Bumi said.
"We never should have come along on this vacation." Kya said.
"I couldn't agree more." Bumi said.
"Well, I didn't want you to come in the first place." Tenzin said.
"Knock it off!" Turok yelled shutting them up. "You three are the sorriest excuse for siblings I have ever seen. Your no different than Sarah was before she finally moved on." Turok said.
"Thats not true. We didn't build a weapon that killed people...AGH!" Bumi yelled getting blasted again.
"Wanna repeat that?" Turok asked.
"You three are all you have left of your father. Tenzin, Your father focused more attention on you since you were an airbender and unintentionally ignored them. And yet though you don't seem to care." Destroyah said.
"Thats not true. I just feel like Dad was just looking out for the Culture of the Air nation." Tenzin said.
"By ignoring his other two children almost like they didn't exist? Some father." Destroyah said making him widen his eyes before looking down. "You three are gonna stay here until you work this nonsense out. In our golden years all families were equal. Thats how good life was for humanity under our rule. Now stay and work this out." Destroyah said as Turok took over and flew off.
Meanwhile
Sean and Korra were walking back to their home when Tonraq walked to them.
"Dad?" Korra asked.
"Have you seen your mother? I haven't seen her." Tonraq said.
"I asked her to keep an eye on the Twins while we rescued Unalaq because of Varrick's stupidity." Korra said as they got close.
However she widened her eyes seeing the door busted down.
"No!" Korra yelled rushing in. "MOM!" Korra yelled before seeing her on the ground out cold before Tonraq pulled her up.
"Senna." Tonraq said as she opened her eyes before gasping looking around before Korra checked the cribs seeing the Twins were gone.
"No, no, No!" Korra yelled as Sean held her.
"Senna, what happened?" Sean asked.
"All I remember was the door was busted down before the room was filled with green smoke and I collapsed. Then I saw all of you." Senna said holding her daughter close.
"I'm willing to bet this is Varrick's idea of payback." Tonraq said.
"No. He didn't do this." Sean said before a screen appeared in front of him before playing a hologram of what happened before they got here.
Showing the part where Senna was knocked out it showed to his rage Eska and Desna who grabbed the Twins.
"Why does Father want these children?" Desna asked.
"Probably for leverage against our cousin and her monster husband." Eska said
Sean snarled as he growled in rage.
"Unalaq." Sean said enraged.
Meanwhile
Unalaq grinned as he looked down at the Twins seeing them asleep.
"Perfect." Unalaq said pulling out a dagger.
"Father...I'm not sure this is a good idea." Desna said.
"I don't care. We'll kill one and blame it on Varrick for foiling his plans to kill me. Then we return the other to Korra and she'll continue to work for me as a debt for saving the other. Now...Which ones dies. The oldest." Varrick said looking at Junior.

Thats when the place suddenly started shaking making him widen his eyes before hearing an all too familiar roar.
"UNALAQ!" Godzilla roared as parts of the palace came down making him rush to a Window and gasped seeing The Titans who had Hosts attacking both the palace and his men as Rodan blasted fire at his men making them yell in horror.
Ghidorah looked through the window before spotting Desna and Eska picking up the twins.
"THERE THEY ARE!" Ichi yelled making Godzilla roar as he smashed his head in through the bedroom.
"UNALAQ! YOU SLIMY NO GOOD MORTAL! I'LL KILL YOU!" Godzilla roared as he and his kids ran off with the Twins making him roar in rage.
As Unalaq and his kids ran Hitomi started crying.
"How do you shut this annoying thing up!" Eska yelled shaking her making her cry harder. (She would be a horrible Parent so God forbid if the next series comes out she had one)
Thats when Orga smashed his way in and roared at them.
"Hand them over you slime!" Orga yelled as Ghidorah busted in and roared at them before Godzilla took the top off and roared loudly at them.
"UNALAQ!" Godzilla roared making him growl.
"Enough. We give up." Unalaq said.

Godzilla growled before Sean took over and took his own form as did David before they approached him.
"Their unharmed I assure..." Unalaq tried to say before yelling in pain as David blasted him just as Sean used Water bending to snatch the Twins as he held Hitomi while David got Junior as she whimpered.
"Shhh. It's ok sweetie. Daddy's here." Sean said as she calmed down before glaring at Unalaq. "I'm not stupid. I know what you were gonna do. Kill one and blame it on Varrick and save the other to have Korra owe you a debt. Well, now its a gonna cost you." Sean said as his water bending caught Desna who struggled. "If you think me taking half your son's face was bad enough." Sean said as Godzilla took over and took his form.
"Now he loses the rest of his face!" Godzilla yelled as his spikes glowed before blasting the unburned side of his face with atomic breath making Desna scream in pain while Unalaq watched in horror before he was let down with the rest of his face horribly burned as he moaned in pain.
"Believe me we hate doing stuff like this. But your actions forced our hand." Sean said making him growl. "You ever come near my family again...And I'll not only kill you but force Ebirah to leave the North and let the Kaiju destroy the place. This is your final warning." Sean said leaving making him growl in rage.
Korra and Naga rushed to the palace before she got off seeing Sean and David with the Twins making her cry as Sean handed Hitomi to her before David handed Junior to her.
"Oh. Mommy was worried to death about you two." Korra said kissing their heads making them yawn before she put them both in the slings around her.
"Lets get out of here." Sean said holding them close.
Next day
Senna smiled as she held her granddaughter who slept peacefully while Korra had Junior in hand as they were in Sean's main home in the South.
"I am beyond my limit here. This is way over the line." Sean said to Tonraq.
"I know what you mean. I knew my brother would try to pull something but not killing children. What are you gonna do about it?" Tonraq asked.
"Simple. I'm going to make him leave and have Korra close that damn portal." Sean said.
"Why does Unalaq want it opened and the other so badly?" Senna asked as her Granddaughter yawned.
"I don't know. Those portals were never closed during the golden years. I can only suspect that one of the original Avatars I didn't train closed them to keep man and Spirit from fighting one another." Sean said.
"Makes sense." Korra said.
Thats however when Unalaq came in.
"What do you you think you're doing here? GET OUT!" Sean yelled.
"No. You are under arrest and will stand trial." Unalaq said as his men barged in.
"Trial? For what?" Sean asked.
"For conspiring to assassinate me." Unalaq said.
"What in the world are you talking about? That was Varrick's doing not mine. You're just lying again as per usual. What is this payback for burning the rest of your Son's face? Not that he had a face worth looking at to begin with." Sean said making him glare.
"You are coming with me. Or I can direct my attention to the families of the men who attacked me. Your choice." Unalaq said making him glare.
"Fine." Sean said standing up. "But just to be clear. You're gonna lose this fight anyway. You're kind never truly win." Sean said making him glare.
Sean was loaded into a truck before it drove away as Hitomi started crying in her mother's arms.
"Shhh. It's ok sweetie." Korra said before glaring at her uncle. "You got some nerve you know that? First you make my people angry by taking away their rights then you kidnap my kids and try to murder one of them. Now this." Korra said.
"Those things never should have been conceived in the first place. They're a mistake like him." Unalaq said making Hitomi cry before Unalaq grunted as Korra blasted him with air.
"Bastard!" Korra yelled running back inside.
Meanwhile
Asami and the others were in Varrick's office.
"Where's Varrick? We should've closed our deal an hour ago." Asami said.
"You do realize that stupid son of a bitch tried to start a civil war right?" David asked.
"Oh right. I can't believe he tried that. And even worse is that his actions almost got one of the Twins killed." Asami said.
"Bastards like him were always put down in a heartbeat." Reznov said.
"No shit." Julia said.
Thats when Eska and Desna walked in with the later having his face fully covered up.
"What do you fuckers want now?" Dawn asked annoyed.
"We search for Varrick." Desna said.
"Good luck. Son of a bitch ain't here.." David said.
"We'll find him soon enough. And he can join Kruger in his cell." Eska said shocking them.
"Wait what?" Sarah asked.
"Sean was arrested?" David asked glaring at them.
"Your deductive skills are impressive for one who holds a three headed freak." Desna said before the Three heads appeared. (Sora I don't care about them coming out of his back only you do for stupid reasons. Drop It!)
"At least our faces aren't scarred for life like your's are boy." Ichi said.
"And at least we aren't looked at in disgust." Ni said.
"NOW GET OUT!" San yelled.
Desna glared before he and his sister left.
"That was kinda cruel." Asami said.
"You can't say he didn't deserve it since he and that ugly sister of his kidnapped the Twins and were ok with Unalaq's idea of killing one to blame Varrick." Ichi said.
"Well...When you put it that way." Asami said.
"I'd be surprised even with his face intact he would have a social life." Dawn said.
"Yup." Sarah said before Dawn kicked her into a Platypusbear. "You are seriously getting on my nerves." Sarah said before noticing something. "Wait a second." Sarah said before jumping up and opened the mouth.
"HELLO!" Varrick yelled.
"AHHHH!" Sarah screamed as she fell down .
"Wow. You scream loud for a 30,000 year old little girl." Varrick said making her glare while Dawn giggled.
"You gotta be fucking kidding me." David said.
"What do you think? Pretty nice spot huh?" Varrick asked as the Titan hosts glared at him. "What? Whats with all the glares?" Varrick asked.
"Your stupid actions almost caused a civil war and almost got one of the Twins killed." David said.
"Who? Your brother's kids? Pfft. I'm sure they're fine." Varrick said before yelling as David pulled him out.
"You smug little Mark Wannabe." David said pissed off.
"Now hold on. I just wanted to take Unalaq out. My plans never had anything to do with those kids. Besides you really think Unalaq wouldn't have gone after them anyway even if I didn't do what I did?" Varrick asked making him glare before punching him down knocking him out as Zhu Li came out of the bear.
"Some boss you got dumbass." David said walking out.
"Wow. I've never seen David so pissed since Mark tried to crash one of his shows." Sarah said.
"How'd he do that?" Asami asked.
"By trying to make it about one of his inventions which Sean broke to piss him off." Dawn said.
"Why am I not surprised?" Asami asked.
Later
Korra glared at her uncle as Sean was held by chains as he growled at Unalaq.
Hitomi started crying again.
"It's ok honey." Senna said holding her close.
"This is beyond pointless. You're just making shit up to get to me." Sean said calmly.
"I don't think so. One of the Rebels came forward and said it was your idea to have me assassinated." Unalaq said.
"If that was actually true why did I come to stop them? That makes no sense. Why tell them to do that if I was gonna stop them?" Sean asked making everyone think the same thing.
"Doesn't matter why. Your punishment will be carried out. Which is death." Unalaq said before gasping as water engulfed him.
"Lets try this again. This is a special kind of move one of the Avatar's I trained made. If you lie the water freezes solid with you in it and kills you. Now...Was there actually someone who said killing you was my idea. Yes or no?" Sean asked already knowing as Unalaq growled in rage.
"No. There never was." Unalaq said as the water l eft him before freezing Sean's chains and freed himself.
"I warned you what would happen if you crossed me again. Sarah." Sean said getting her attention. "Fly to the North and tell Ebirah he is no longer needed to defend the Northern water Tribe." Sean said shocking the Northern troops.
"YOU CAN'T DO THAT! THE KAIJU WILL WIPE US OUT!" Unalaq roared.
"Thats my fault how? You brought that on yourself. You've disgraced the Northern Water with your actions. You tried to kill one of my kids to blame it on Varrick. Caused a civil war for taking peoples rights away like they had no say in the matter. A true leader attends the needs of his or her people. Not his own. Thats what we taught true leaders in this world. And they took those lessons to heart. And as of this moment the North will no longer have control of the South. They are two separate tribes from this moment forward." Sean said shocking him. "NOW GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!" Sean yelled making him growl in rage.
Later
"Why exactly are we going after the Judge? The North is leaving." Korra said holding the Twins as Sean waited for Judge Hotah to pass.
"Something is bugging me and I think this guy might have some answers." Sean said before he was right under them as Sean jumped down before denting the car making Hotah yell in shock as Godzilla took the top off and snarled at him.
"You have some information I need." Godzilla said as Korra jumped down.
"What do you want?" Hotah asked.
"Did you know that the Trial was rigged?" Sean asked.
"Yes! I was just following Orders." Hotah said.
"So Unalaq told you to make things go his way?" Korra asked ticked off.
"Yes and he thinks by getting rid of him will turn you to his side but he also wants your father out of the way. Just like when he got him banished." Hotah said shocking them.
'I didn't expect that.' Godzilla said surprised.
"What do you mean got him banished?" Sean asked.
"N-Nothing." Hotah said.
"You better spill while you still breathe you insect." Godzilla said snarling.
Later
Sean and Korra rushed to her home.
"Tonraq!" Sean yelled as they rushed in.
Only to find Senna on the couch crying.
"Mom?" Korra asked walking to her and sat next to her.
"What happened?" Sean asked.
"Unalaq's men came and took Tonraq saying he was a traitor." Senna said.
"I'll bet he did this as payback for us learning the truth." Korra said.
"What Truth?" Senna asked.
"Unalaq has been lying long before Korra was ever found out to be the Avatar. Those thugs who attacked were hired by Unalaq and told to hide in the forest knowing Tonraq would go after them. It was his plan to remove him to be chief." Sean said shocking her.
"But...Why?" Senna asked.
"I don't know but it has something to do with those portals. Theres something on the other side. And we need to know what that is." Sean said.
Later
"So Unalaq hired those Barbarians to attack the North?" Asami asked.
"Yeah. It was all part of his plan to become chief. Only we threw a wrench in his plans when he took Korra 14 years ago." Sean said.
"David you lived in the North. Why didn't you stop them?" Korra asked.
"I wasn't at the North at the time. I was in Republic City when Aang was still alive. All of us minus Sarah were there when Aang was the Avatar." David said.
"When he passed we waited for you to take the role." Reznov said.
"Oh I guess that makes sense." Korra said as Hitomi yawned making her smile.
"Something is not right. Everything he's done has led to Korra opening that portal." Sean said.
"Are you sure none of you know?" Korra asked.
"Believe me we'd know. The only Titans who were awake during that time went to sleep when the Avatar Cycle began. And we have no idea where they are." David said.
"We're busting my dad out of prison." Korra said.
"Then we need to leave. I'm not gonna fight a battle until I know all the facts. Unalaq wanted that portal opened for a reason. And I want to know what that is. But the best option right now is getting Tonraq and then getting the Earth Defense force ready when we find out the truth behind these events. Best to know all the facts before charging into another war." Sean said.
"Hey! War's good for business if you sell weapons." Varrick said making everyone glare at him. "Shutting up now." Varrick said.
Later
A guard yelled as he was knocked out by Sean.
"You sure bringing them is a good idea?" Sean asked pulling Korra up.
"After what happened last time. I'm not taking chances." Korra said holding Junior and Hitomi close.
"Fair enough." Sean said as he opened the cell where Tonraq would be but it was empty.
"I'm sorry, Korra." Unalaq said making his presence known. "You'll never see your father again." Unalaq said.
"Where's my father?" Korra demanded glaring at him.
"On a ship heading to the Northern Water Tribe. There he'll serve out his sentence." Unalaq said.
"Bring him back. Or I'm taking you out and the entire northern water tribe." Sean said.
"No. I don't have to listen to you. You've ruined everything I had planned. I would have made my tribe spiritually enlightened to be like me." Unalaq said.
"Being spiritually enlightened does not make you perfect. Especially you. Your the most flawed and disgusting person I know. Your cruel, Vile and Selfish. No different than Hiroshi and Mark." Sean said.
"Only they had the right idea about the Titans. No longer will man be ruled by them. Man will soon be rulers of itself under my control." Unalaq said.
"It's insects like you that prove my point. Man cannot lead itself. You care not for the people but for your own needs. We never once forces our will on man. They followed us willingly. And those that tried to harm others no different than you were put down. We led mankind to true greatness." Godzilla said.
"But didn't make them all like me. My way is the only path to peace and perfection. Mankind is all flawed as they are now. With abominations like those around." Unalaq looking at the twins with Junior crying as Korra held him close.
"The only abomination is you. You had your own people killed just to remove your own brother. And I bet you killed your father as well." Godzilla said.
"And what if I did? My way is perfect unlike yours. I am perfection. And soon the world will be like me and I'll tear down the modern society image to build my perfect society." Unalaq said before Godzilla's back started glowing before blasting him with Atomic breath.
"Insect." Godzilla said before the place started coming down as Godzilla grew to get Korra and the Twins out.
Meanwhile
Destroyah flew to Pema and the others with Ikki on his neck before they landed as she got off.
"Thank you both...Wait wheres Tenzin and his siblings?" Pema asked.
"Right here." Tenzin said approaching her.
"So have we learned a lesson?" Destroyah asked.
"Oh yeah." Bumi said.
"Perhaps my father wasn't the perfect Figure I thought he was. But I know he loved all of us equally." Tenzin said.
"True enough. No one is perfect and they shouldn't be perfect. If all of mankind was...Think how boring this world would be." Destroyah said making them laugh.
Meanwhile
After finding Tonraq and the rebels they told the truth.
"So once we knew the truth, we couldn't sit by and do nothing." Korra said.
"My own brother betrayed me. And our entire tribe." Tonraq said.
"Don't blame yourself. No one could have seen how vile he was back then." Sean said making him nod.
"What are we gonna do now?" Tonraq asked.
"You and the rebels are gonna stay here and keep an eye on things. We need to know whats going on before we send the Earth defense forces here and take out Unalaq and his army. Taking them out is easy but we need to know whats really going on. He wanted that portal open for a reason." Sean said.
"He's right." Korra said before hugging her father. "I love you dad." Korra said.
"I love you too. I'll be fine I promise." Tonraq said.
Soon Tonraq and his rebels were back in the South.
"You really think theres something in that portal?" Korra asked.
"It has something to do with the time we were asleep. Lets just get back to Titan City before things get worse and find out whats going on." Sean said making her nod as Junior and Hitomi yawned making them smile.
"You two are gonna be just fine." Korra said.
Varrick soon plotted course for Titan City.
As they drove off however something in the clouds was following them.
The only thing that was seen was a pair of yellow eyes before it got lower revealing some serpent with two mouths following them from above before it got higher again.
Authors Note: Oh good lord things are really getting intense. The Civil war has begun and now Sean and Godzilla try to find out what is behind the Spirit portal. Will they find out in time? Find out in future Chapters. Sora regarding the Authors Note Last part to you Just ignore it. My dumb cousin who reads my stories wrote that in when I fell asleep and posted it before leaving to screw with both of us hence why that part was deleted.
