Though Team Leomon had unfortunately lost to the X-Laws, it didn't change their mood too much.

The digimons grew bigger – especially the huge Growlmon.

"Let's get them! Attack!"

"Exhaust Flame!"

"Gargo Pellets!"

"Fox Tail Inferno!"

The attacks hit the shamans but... didn't even scratch them!

"Ha! We don't even have to fight back! You're too weak to stand against us!"

"Just wait some more..! Card Slash!"

"M-A-T-R-I-X E-V-O-L-U-T-I-O-N!"

"Growlmon... MATRIX DIGIVOLUTION to... WarGrowlmon!"

"Wow..! That's HUGE..!"

"Gargomon... MATRIX DIGIVOLUTION to... Rapidmon!"

"Kyubimon... MATRIX DIGIVOLUTION to... Taomon!"

"Hey! They changed already twice..! That's SOME unity I'd say..!"

"That's no unity at all! They just digivolved!"

"It doesn't matter how you call it – it's still cool!"

"Speaking of cold..! Corey, freeze them!"

The huge magenta spirit blew a cold storm towards Taomon.

"Talisman Star!"

Taomon shielded with a magical attack shield!

"Mic, get that green thing!"

But even the jaguar was too slow for Rapidmon.

"Bason, eliminate that mechanical dino! Golden Comet Punch!"

Still, WarGrowlmon wasn't hurt too much.

"Guys, we need a plan..."

"I have one – let's swap our targets!"

"OK! Mic, attack the dino!"

This time WarGrowlmon had no time to defend against the speedy jaguar.

"Good! Now Corey, freeze that bug!"

Rapidmon was semi-frozen and dropped onto the ground.

Taomon was knocked down very soon.

All three digimons devolved to Rookies.

looked like... a fox-headed shaman!
