Chapter 42 After all these Years
Its been three years since the battle against the Red Lotus with Zaheer separating Sean and Godzilla by force before the later revealed the truth to Zaheer that his actions were for nothing. (I always find this a fitting punishment finding the bad guy did everything for nothing and had everything wrong)
Since then the world was facing some issues.
The main thing being the Titans were in disarray because of Zaheer's actions. After forcing Sean and Godzilla Apart King Godzilla sent his son somewhere to heal from his injuries having taken great damage from Mark's actions using his Final Mecha monsters.
And that was another thing.
Mark's actions were made public that he was the one who actually brought the Kaiju to Earth to kill Sean so he could have Hitomi thinking she would be his. Only his actions backfired and brought the Kaiju here which got her killed and the lives of 20 billion people.
Now Sean's name was cleared for something he never truly did.
After the battle Sean and his family moved back to his home in the South away from Raiko.
Raiko's stunt of trying to have his children killed again got him kicked out of his office much to his rage since in his mind he still believed himself to be president.
So until Godzilla returned Ghidorah was in charge.
As for Leading the other Titans all over the world Ghidorah, Destroyah and Kong were in charge to keep them all organized as best they could.
For the most part the Titans led their cities like they did in the past.
As for the group however though things had changed in certain ways.
For one Turok and Jinora now dating one another and with Turok aging again till Jinora reached the her 20's.
Same thing applied for Sarah and Kai much to Sean's annoyance since even though Kai's the reason they stopped the Red Lotus in time he still had issues with him because of his past deeds.
Then David and Asami held off their wedding waiting till Godzilla was found.
And then Finally the White Lotus was completely gone.
While Initially the Titans themselves were going to handle them all King Godzilla got to them all first and put them in a place worse than the hell Unalaq was in.
And Zaheer was sentenced in a far more effective and secure facility to make sure he never escaped again.
Not that he wanted to anymore.
After he learned the truth he was a broken man.
Everything he had sacrificed and lost was all for nothing and had put the Titans in disarray until Godzilla could Return.
As for Sean and Korra they stayed in the South raising their children and their new Daughter Katara.
A couple months after the fight Katara had peacefully passed away in her sleep.
While both Sean and Korra were sad to see her pass away they knew she was with those she loved again.
To honor her former mentor she named her second daughter after her.
While Sean did indeed miss his old friend he had gotten through the tough times without him with his family enjoying every minute with them.
As of right now Tenzin was giving a speech about current events.
"Though it has been three long years since the battle against the Red Lotus who foolishly believed their hosts were forcing them to remain inside them Titan City and the newly formed Cities led by the Titans who led them long before Mark's actions have been at peace due to Godzilla's and Sean's actions for saving the new generation of Airbenders. The Barrier that protects us from the Breach has finally stabilized once more. The Kaiju can no longer come through and harm us as they once did." Tenzin said.
That was another thing since the new Airbenders were revealed the barrier had stabilized thanks to the new Air nation which was now led by the Air based Titans. Meaning the Kaiju could no longer come through the breach anymore.
"How dearly I wish Kruger and Avatar Korra were here so we could thank them for all they have done and sacrificed for the greater good. Let their actions make an example of those who are willing to put the needs of others over their own. To do whats right for everyone." Tenzin said.
Soon the crowd dispersed.
"That was a nice speech." Reznov said to Tenzin who sighed.
"Honestly I hate giving them like this. How Sean did it so many times is beyond me." Tenzin said making him chuckle.
"Ah he's always had a gift for doing shit like that. You hear from t hem lately?" Reznov asked.
"As a matter of fact yes. Tonraq sent a message saying they were coming back to Titan City later today. Perhaps it'll make the people less nervous with current events." Tenzin said.
"Don't bet on it. They won't calm down till HE shows back up again. Wherever the hell he is. Obelisk and the others tried that temple they met at 4 years ago when Unalaq plotted to free Vaatu. He wasn't there." Reznov said.
"Where else would he place him?" Tenzin asked.
"How the hell are we supposed to know? There are millions of places he could be." Reznov said.
While this was going on Turok was with Jinora talking about the prince of the Earth Kingdom.
"How the hell is this prick gonna be king?" Turok asked seeing Wu being a fool to get attention which made him scoff in annoyance.
"It won't matter anyway. Once Godzilla comes back and remerges with Sean the other Titans will be organized again and Titans will take control of Paradise city when it's rebuilt." Jinora said.
After the Queen's death Ba Sing Se was in total Chaos. And without Godzilla to coordinate the other Titans correctly there was nothing they could do.
All the Titans hated feeling so helpless to stop all the chaos that was occurring in the Earth Kingdom but without proper coordination and leadership they were less effective.
Currently right now the only one who was keeping the peace was Kuvira.
After the fight against the Red Lotus Kuvira and some from Metal City started moving through the Earth Kingdom to restore the order until Godzilla returned.
Though in some views they didn't approve of her methods.
Right now The Titans were meeting about the Subject.
"This nonsense has to end. I get she's trying to restore the order Zaheer destroyed because of his stupidity but we can't let her continue any longer." Togera said.
"I know most here don't approve of her methods but they are only temporary. Better her than that fool who would sooner see us as pets." Kong said in hologram form and shuddered in disgust.
"Ok thats fair." Yonggary said also in hologram form.
"Have any of us had any luck in finding him?" Gamera asked.
"What do you think? Wherever he is has to be someplace we don't know about or have forgotten." Ebirah said.
"Knock it off." Ichi said.
We'll find him eventually." Kumonga said.
"It's been three years! He should have recovered by now." Battra said.
"Do you have even the slightest idea of what that poison did?" Zilla asked annoyed.
"Neither do you." Bull dragon said.
"ENOUGH!" Destroyah yelled walking in shutting them up. "This bickering is pointless. We will find him eventually and restore the peace." Destroyah said.
"But we can't keep waiting forever. Eventually we need to step in and stop Kuvira since she may one day target one of our cities." Varan said.
"We'll deal with that if it does happen. But not before." Kong said.
"For now we keep leading our cities the way we always have. Eventually he will return." Ichi said as the holograms ended before the Titans walked out the building.
"Some of them aren't wrong. We do need to find him." Togera said.
"In time we will." Destroyah said.
Later
Everyone was at the docks seeing a ship from the Southern Water Tribe dock before Tonraq and his family walked off.
"It's good to see you again Korra." Tenzin said as he held her making her smile.
"It feels good to be home." Korra said. She had changed recently with her hair cut short.
Thats when Junior and Hitomi ran off.
"Both of you get back here." Senna said following them.
"Those two." Korra said smiling.
"reminds me of someone else I knew at that age." Tonraq said making her blush.
"Dad." Korra whined making him chuckle before her second daughter appeared behind her mother.
She had her mother's skin texture and hair along with her blue eyes.
"Hey sweetheart." David said picking her up making her laugh.
"She looks exactly like ya." Reznov said making Korra giggle since that was true.
Walking off the ship last was Sean who still had his robes.
"Hey Kruger." Reznov said as Sean took his hood off before some were surprised he looked a little pale.
"You ok?" Turok asked.
"Yeah...Just tired." Sean said going after the Twins.
"He's not looking good." Tenzin said making Korra sigh.
"No...He's not. Something is happening to him." Korra said.
Later
"So for the last two weeks Sean's been getting weaker?" Tenzin asked.
"Yeah. First he was just getting tired a lot having to take some short naps. Then last week he couldn't bend anymore." Korra said.
"Like at all?" Turok asked.
"Yeah. Now he's getting pale. Tenzin what is happening to him?" Korra asked.
"I'm not sure but it could be a side effect of him separating from Godzilla after so long." Tenzin said.
"But Sarah didn't feel anything when she separated from Mothra." Asami said.
"That was different. They didn't have the kind of bond they have now. And it was only temporary. This is three years later for him and it was forced against their will." Tenzin said.
"So how much worse is this going to get?" Korra asked concerned.
"Mommy!" Hitomi yelled rushing in.
"What is it honey?" Korra asked.
"Daddy's throwing up blood." Hitomi said making her widen her eyes before rushing to him.
Sean was over the sink having puked out some of his blood before collapsing to the side as Korra rushed in and held him.
"It's ok honey." Korra said as he panted trying to get his breathing under control.
"Whats happening to me?" Sean asked.
Later
Sean was in the hospital getting examined.
"These results don't look good. I think Zaheer's actions did more damage than even he realized." Julia said.
"What do you mean?" Korra asked concerned.
"Whatever poison he used on him is still effecting him. It's only now occurring because whatever Energy of Godzilla that remained is beginning to diminish." Julia said.
"So this is only going to get worse." Tenzin said.
"Maybe. I think the labs can make some drug to fight the effects of the poison long enough until we can find him." Reznov said.
"How long will that take?" Korra asked.
"A day at most maybe a few hours if they move quickly. He's in no immediate danger for now but it will get worse if he doesn't get some help." Julia said as Korra walked inside seeing him asleep from the pain medication he took.
"It's gonna be ok." Korra said kissing him.
Everyone soon left so Sean could rest.
A couple hours into his sleep Sean's body began to glow before vanishing.
Later
Sean slowly began to wake up before finding himself in some tree.
"What the hell?" Sean asked.
"Finally awake huh?"
Sean turned seeing some old woman making something.
"Where am I?" Sean asked.
"In the Swamp. Found you passed out in the mud. How'd you get here?"
"No idea." Sean said.
"What you and that Gecko seriously don't know?"
"Gecko? What the fuck?" Sean asked taking a torch before seeing who it was. "Oh...Heh! I should have known. Long time no see, Toph." Sean said seeing an old friend who chuckled at him.
"Nice to see you again Lizard man." Toph said.
Authors Note: Yeah I know not as long as the other Chapters but this one really isn't that important in this story. Anyway Next Chapter is gonna be different compared to the last three stories. Sora to answer your questions no I don't hate season 4 and I think your the only one who did here. Second no I am not facing any problems. I told you I'm not rushing this through like the last three so I can enjoy it more. And so I can plan out the next one which again is a Yugioh crossover. Similar to this one but different all the same. Now I hope everyone enjoyed the three way update yesterday since I plan to do another with Family Ties and Savior created by the Gods both of which will have special lemons.
