Chapter 44 The Coronation
Its been a few days since Sean came back after finally getting all the poison out of his system.
Now he was back to his old self again minus one thing of course.
Right now Sean was watching Katara practice Waterbending against Meelo who had no choice but to let her since his feet were frozen because of Korra.
"WHOA!" Meelo yelled as he dodged another hit before she blasted his and froze it making him fall backwards.
"YAY!" Katara cheered making Sean and Korra laugh before the later picked her up.
"Nice Job sweetie." Korra said kissing her forehead making her giggle as Sean smashed Meelo free.
"Why do I gotta be target practice?" Meelo asked.
"Call it payback for farting in Jinora and Ikki's room with them in it." Sean said.
"Your disgusting." Katara said sticking her tongue out at him.
"Honey." Korra said.
"Oh let her have her fun." Sean said as they walked off.
All around the City were other Titans to observe.
While Wu's rule would be short they wanted to see exactly the kind of ruler he would be to prove again Man cannot lead man due to people like Raiko and the Queen.
Sean and Korra walked to the training center seeing Both Junior and Hitomi asleep next to Naga who slept as well making them smile before Sean picked them up before taking them to their room and put them down.
"So whats gonna happen when Wu's made King?" Korra asked as Katara also feel asleep in her arms before she put her down.
"We'll observe of course for a time and if he proves himself to be selfish and cruel he'll be kicked off his throne soon enough." Sean said.
"And Ba Sing Se?" Korra asked.
"It'll be torn down and Paradise city will be rebuilt." Sean said.
After Ba Sing Se was in chaos because of Zaheer a large number of the population went down with it since people turned on each other so quickly.
Kuvira managed to stabilize the situation but most of the titans didn't trust her due to her tactics.
"So...What do you plan to do about Kuvira?" Korra asked.
"She knows her position is only temporary. The only reason she even has it is because Kong trained her when he first showed up 18 years ago." Sean said.
That was true. Kong trained Kuvira when he awakened after 30,000 years and made her into the powerful Earth and Metal Bender she was today.
Thats what gave her the position she was in today.
"Well...Hopefully everything goes smoothly." Korra said.
Later
Everyone was at where the meeting point would be which was Titan City's most luxurious Hotel where other important people were gathered like Zuko and his daughter since the Fire Nation still had Human leaders until Izumi decided to step down which would be soon.
Walking into the building Korra and the others were dressed more appropriate while Sean and his friends and family had their usual outfits.
"I hate these clothes." Junior said tugging his buttoned shirt making Korra giggle.
"Just relax and let it be. We'll all go someplace nice after this." Korra said.
"Ok." Junior said.
"There you are." Tonraq said walking to them with Senna.
"Sorry to worry all of you." Sean said.
"You look better than you have the last two weeks." Senna said.
"Turns out I still had the poison inside me and Toph got rid of it." Sean said.
"Wait my mother was there?" Lin asked surprised.
"Did I forget to mention that?" Sean asked.
"I think Godzilla was the one who reminded you of everything." Korra teased.
"HA HA HA." Sean said making the kids laugh.
"I still can't believe that guy is gonna be king." Reznov said looking at Wu who was posing for Reporters making his eyes twitch.
'What an arrogant fool. He makes Unalaq look likable in a small degree.' Orga said.
'Thats debatable.' Reznov said.
"I feel bad for the sorry saps who have to put up with him." Julia said.
"Mako was supposed to have that job but refused even when I offered to triple his pay for a year." Lin said.
"Even Money isn't enough to put up with people like him." Sean said.
"Yup." David said.
"Hello, Titan City!" Bolin said rushing in. "Bolin is back." Bolin said.
"So we bloody noticed you big giant Lava bending goofball." Sean said gaining his attention.
"Sean? Your back!" Bolin said running to him before pulling him into a hug.
"Um Bolin? I'm happy to see you too I am...But could you please put me down." Sean said making him blink before doing so.
"Sorry. Got a little excited there." Bolin said rubbing his head.
"As if I couldn't tell. Still it's good to see everyone after a while" Sean said.
"Never thought I'd be allowed back in Titan City's greatest hotel." Varrick said gaining their attention as Sean's eyes twitched in annoyance.
"What in the name of the original Titan. Why the hell is he here?" Sean asked annoyed.
"Oh...While both of you were gone Kuvira managed to convince David to give Varrick a full pardon." Asami said making him growl.
"David." Sean said annoyed.
"Hey I hated it just as much as you do but we were disorganized and he was useful. Besides I get the feeling he'll screw up and we'll have a reason to arrest him soon enough." David said.
"That hardly matters." Sean said.
"Well, look at these little kids. I'd bet you three have some of the King's powers. Wanna run a few tests with me to duplicate them?" Varrick asked.
"Varrick get the hell away from them right now!" Sean yelled before both Junior and Hitomi blasted Varrick with Atomic breath making him scream as he crashed into a wall.
This made both parents blink before laughing as did the others.
"Nice going you two!" Korra laughed.
"Well, The entire group is finally here." Mako said walking to them.
"Yup." Sean said.
"YOU!" Raiko roared stomping to them.
"Oh great." Sean said.
"You have some nerve showing your face after what you cost me! I was kicked out of office because of you!" Raiko yelled as the kids hid behind their mother.
"I didn't do a damn thing. You got yourself kicked out because you constantly tried to kill my kids because you hate anything to do with the Titans for pathetic reasons. And I told you a hundred times you were never the president. The whole thing was a test to prove mankind couldn't lead itself because of people like you." Sean said making him growl. "What are you even doing here anyway?" Sean asked.
"I'm here to get every leader to side with me and kill you and anything to do with the Titans! Starting with them!" Raiko yelled looking at the kids before Junior stuck his tongue out at him making him seethe as he tried to grab him only for Sean to punch him back.
"You are nothing but a worthless bug." Sean said before motioning for security to drag him out.
"NO! YOU ARE GONNA PAY FOR RUINING ME! YOU HEAR ME! YOU'LL PAY!" Raiko roared making Sean scoff.
"Who's the ugly man?" Katara asked making her mother giggle.
"Oh no one just some idiot." Korra said kissing her as her father took her.
Thats when Wu suddenly appeared next to her.
"Excuse me My lady." Wu said startling her.
"Uh can I help you?" Korra asked creeped out.
"So you're the famous Avatar. I can't help but see you look rather lonely." Wu said trying to swoon her making her frown.
"I have no idea what you're talking about pal. Beat it." Korra said.
"Now lets not get defensive since I'm sure you clearly are suffering from being single. I can easily fill the void since I am royalty." Wu said making her eyes twitch in annoyance.
'Oh brother. It's like dealing with his cousin all over again.' Korra thought annoyed. (Remember the Queen had a son named Han here who wanted Korra for himself)
"Leave my mommy alone." Hitomi said making him frown.
"I didn't realize you had a kid or slept with someone? Clearly she doesn't know who her father is." Wu said displeased by this.
"I'm married and happily for your information." Korra said getting tired of him trying to flirt with her.
"An Unhappy marriage I'll bet. Why not leave him and these...Things and come marry me." Wu said making her glare.
"Go away." Hitomi said before he pushed her down.
"Scram to the orphanage kid. My soon to be wife and I are making plans." Wu said before she smacked him much to his shock.
"Who do you think you are?" Korra asked picking up her daughter who was clearly upset. "Your just as bad as your cousin and aunt." Korra said.
"Well, she's not mine so why should I care. Now drop that thing and lets get..." Wu tried to say before Sean punched him down hard making him shriek in shock as Sean glared at him before stepping on him.
"You disgust me pal. Get lost." Sean said.
"I'LL SEE YOU IN CHAINS ALONG WITH THAT SPAWN OF YOUR'S!" Wu wailed as he ran away.
"What a piece of garbage." David said.
"No kidding." Ichi said.
"Sean." Suyin said walking to them.
"Hey Suyin Long time no see." Sean said.
"Your looking far better than the last time I saw you." Suyin said pleased.
"Lets just say I paid a visit to your mother and leave it at that." Sean said before her son approached them.
"Hello Mother." Baatar said.
"Hello, Baatar Junior." Suyin said displeased.
"It's just Baatar now. Kruger it's good to see you again." Baatar said.
"Yeah nice to see you again as well." Sean said.
"So, Now that you've seen all the good we've done since we left Zaofu, you must be sorry that you didn't come and help us." Baatar said to his mother.
"I don't know if I'd call marching all over the Earth Kingdom, forcing people to bow to Kuvira, Doing good." Suyin said not happy about that as Sean and Korra looked at each other with the later shrugging.
"I don't even wanna know" Korra said.
"Eh." Sean said brushing it off.
"You're going to have to get over your grudge with her. I'm sure you've heard that we're engaged. She's going to be an official member of our family." Baatar said.
"I'm just glad that she'll be stepping down after tomorrow." Suyin said.
"Kruger be completely honest. Would you rather have Kuvira or that idiot who just tried to flirt with your wife and hurt your daughter?" Baatar asked.
"Do I really need to answer that?" Sean asked annoyed since even though he didn't fully approve of Kuvira's tactics she was a better pick than he was since she didn't act like a fool.
Thats when they saw said idiot now flirting with Kuvira trying to swoon her to him.
"Oh my god." Sean said annoyed.
"I hope I'm not out of order saying this...You're pretty easy on the eyes for a military type. I'll put in a good word for. you with the hotel staff, maybe get you a little upgrade. I've been living here for years. They love me." Wu said.
"I won't be needing your help. We've reserved the presidential suite." Kuvira said.
"Well, I think someone is pulling your chain, gumdrop. See, I'm in the presidential suite." Wu said arrogantly.
"Not anymore. I had you moved out." Kuvira said smirking.
"Wait, What? Cam, Where's all my stuff?" Wu asked one of the employees concerned.
"We moved you into a very nice junior suite on the Seventh floor." Cam said.
"Junior suite?" Wu asked depressed.
"Something you should know about me I always get what I want." Kuvira said smirking.
"HA! Now theres the highlight of my day seeing this punk lose the best room." Sean said getting her attention.
"Kruger. It's been a while." Kuvira said.
"Yeah since fighting Zaheer three years ago." Sean said.
"Since Zaheer was locked up someone had to take control. And with the Titans in disarray because of his screw up I stepped up." Kuvira said.
"While I understand that do also understand that some of your tactics have the other Titans on edge. Remember your position is only temporary. That was the deal we made." Sean said.
"I know." Kuvira said.
Later
Soon enough the Coronation was taking place for Wu who looked smug.
"Oy. He better enjoy it while it lasts." Sean said.
"Yup. All of you make sure you never turn out like him." Korra said to the kids making them giggle.
"Now as my first act as King...I demand the execution of those three right there!" Wu yelled pointing at the kids shocking everyone.
"Excuse me?" Sean asked glaring at him.
"Officers. Please kill them right now." Wu said grinning before yelling as Sean used Waterbending on him pushing him down before A water Serpent appeared above him making him cower before 4 more appeared in Lava, Fire, Air and Lightning curtesy of Korra making Wu Cower in fear before Sean stood over him.
"You are the most pathetic little shit I have ever met. You think what? Having my kids dead will give you a shot with my wife?" Sean asked.
"Yes! I'm royalty! I deserve the Avatar to be my personal love! So she may please me whenever I see fit!" Wu said before Sean smashed his left foot making him scream in pain.
"You are so pathetic. Not even if you were the last man on Earth would she fall for you. You can't force someone to love you." Sean said walking back to his wife and kids. "Lets get the hell out of here." Sean said as everyone left.
"NO! GET BACK HERE! THIS IS MY CORONATION! I AM THE GREATEST OF KINGS THE EARTH KINGDOM WILL EVER HAVE! COME BACK!" Wu sobbed.
Later
Katara was in her grandmother's arms making her smile as she slept.
"What an absolute waste of flesh that little freak was." Sean said.
"I know. I would never fall for someone like that no matter what. He's so immature, childish, whiny and so many other things I can't even list them off." Korra said as Junior slept next to her making her smile while Sean held Hitomi close as she yawned.
"So what do you plan to do?" Tonraq asked.
"The Titans agreed, He's going to be kicked off his throne immediately. They can't risk him ruling and acting like the queen did and treat his kingdom like garbage. So he'll be kicked out and Kuvira will continue to rule until he shows up." Sean said.
"Too bad we don't know where he is." Mako said.
"I do." Sean said shocking them all. "I've always known. Its a place only he and the original Godzilla know." Sean said.
"Why didn't you ever say anything?" Korra asked.
"Cause it wouldn't make a difference even if I told you. The poison damaged both of us and because of Mark's actions it seriously wounded him. If he was still sealed inside me he would have healed in weeks. But because we were forced apart thats not happening. All we can do is wait. Not amount of technology can heal him that quick." Sean said.
"But it might speed things along." Asami said.
"This isn't just about healing. It's also about making him stronger. Shortly after everything with Zaheer happened the original Godzilla came to me with a warning. Something is coming. Something that needs Godzilla to get even stronger. Eventually he will show up again. But not now." Sean said.
Later
Korra arrived at a high security prison before the doors opened up as she arrived in one room.
In this room was none other than Zaheer who was held securely and had turrets aimed at him should he pull something.
"I'm surprised you came to visit." Zaheer said facing her.
"I'm only here to see the reason why I got even stronger. To protect my family from monsters like you." Korra said glaring at him.
"Your not wrong on that." Zaheer said.
"I still can't believe somewhere in your twisted little mind you had this delusion Sean and the others forced the Titans to remain inside them without even considering important facts." Korra said.
"Such as?" Zaheer asked.
"Why the other Titans didn't force them apart? Why didn't you ask them the full story to confirm your so called Theory. Why didn't Raava intervene to separate them if it was actually forced?" Korra asked making him frown and looked away. "You never once even considered any of that did you?" Korra asked as he sighed.
"No. I didn't even attempt to think of other possibilities and let my blinded view dictate my actions. And I destroyed something special." Zaheer said ashamed.
"Your a horrible human being you know that? Not only did you act with no proof by the way! But you left the Titans completely disorganized! More than Half of Ba Sing Se's population was destroyed because of you! Men, Women and Children are dead because of you! No different than Hiroshi when he killed people in Republic City because he snapped! You're both nothing but murdering bastards." Korra said.
"Your wrong on that part. The only person I killed intentionally was the queen. I never intended for innocent people to die. I thought once they were separated he would restore that order and bring back Paradise City." Zaheer said.
"You are a murderer. I haven't forgotten you said you were gonna kill my kids who did nothing wrong I might add! In what way do you think the Titans would thank you for that when they consider all innocent life precious? WELL!" Korra yelled making him hold his head down.
"I have no excuse for what I said. I just believed Kruger had been consumed with that power and they would be the same." Zaheer said.
"Far as I'm concerned you deserve worse than what you got. And when he comes back I'm sure he'll give just that." Korra said before she left.
Later
Korra sighed as she and her husband were in bed while the kids were fast asleep.
"You really didn't need to go see him to have a reason to keep getting stronger." Sean said as she placed her head in his chest.
"I know. But it helps me remind myself why I keep getting stronger." Korra said.
"You were plenty strong before it happened." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him before sleep claimed them both.
Authors Note: Well that was surprising to be honest. Wu as per bloody usual made an ass of himself and lost his throne in less than a minute. Korra visited Zaheer to remind herself why she keeps getting stronger by the day. Now Next Chapter is gonna be full of surprises. We're nearing the end of this story which I'm really sad about. I hate when a story actually comes to an end. Especially mine. Oh well that just means I'll get to focus on my next Legend of Korra story which again is a Yugioh crossover and a Harem one.
