Chapter 53 Epilogue
Everyone was looking through the rubble looking for Sean as he and Godzilla had yet to be found when Keizer was defeated by Kong.
In the search was Korra as she left the children with Pema.
"Sean where are you?" Korra asked worried for her husband.
"Don't worry they're here somewhere." Suyin said.
Continuing to search for them Korra came to a pile of rubble before it began to move making her raise an eyebrow.
Thats when it flew everywhere before Godzilla came out cracking his neck.
"Ow. I need a vacation." Godzilla said.
'Thats my line.' Sean said taking control before Korra pulled him into a hug making him smile softly as he held her.
"Your ok." Korra said relieved.
"Yeah. But I'm really busted up." Sean said as he sat down before taking off his robes seeing him with multiple wounds and bruises on his chest and abdomen.
"Ooh. Thats looks less bad than it probably is." Korra said.
"Yup." Sean said as she used waterbending to heal him up. "Welp...Thats it. Keizer is finally gone and that Mecha is finally destroyed completely." Sean said as the others rushed to them.
"Wow you look like hell." Sarah said making him scoff in amusement.
"Just remember you started this shit 30,000 years ago." Sean said making her eyes twitch in annoyance.
"Whats that mean?" Kai asked.
"She made the first Mecha Godzilla in dumb anger because of what Mark did framing me for him bringing the Kaiju here before the truce." Sean said making her give him the finger.
"I made a mistake. Let it go." Sarah said.
"Nope." Sean said making most laugh.
"Whatever." Sarah said.
"So now that everything is settled down and everything is gonna go back to normal...Is there something you wanna ask Kai?" Korra asked making Sean frown at her.
"Ask what?" Sarah asked her boyfriend who smirked.
"Uh...Can I Marry your sister?" Kai asked making her gasp.
Sean growled before looking at Korra who smirked at him making him sigh.
"Fine...You have my blessing." Sean said reluctantly making Sarah cheer. "You are so gonna pay for making me do that." Sean said to Korra making her grin.
"Maybe we can Oh I don't know...Have Pema watch the kids tonight and you can show me what you're gonna do?" Korra teased making him scoff in amusement.
"Not tonight. I'm fucking spent and gonna be taking pain meds for a week at best." Sean said making her giggle.
'Thats putting it mildly I believe the saying goes.' Godzilla said making him chuckle.
3 days later
Sean frowned as he watched Kai take the vail off Sarah's head before kissing her making the others cheer.
"Oh lighten up. She's happy with him." Korra said holding Kyoshi who laughed making him smile as he held her close.
"Yeah." Sean said as Sarah threw her flowers before they landed in Opal's hands making her blush looking at Bolin who smiled. "Oh brother." Sean said making Korra giggle.
Soon the reception was in full swing.
Sean looked seeing Sarah dance with Kai making him smile lightly.
"Admit it. Your happy for them and just being stubborn." Asami said with David and their daughter in hand making Alice laugh.
"Stubborn is his bloody middle name." Turok said with Tracy in his arms while Jinora laughed at her daughter who giggled.
"I am not being Stubborn. Kid's still got a long way to earn my respect." Sean said.
"Like we said stubborn." Turok said.
While this was going on Korra was by the entrance looking at Titan City seeing the new Spirit portal right outside it.
Thats when Sean walked to her.
"The others and I are gonna use the Matrix to repair all the damage tomorrow morning as if nothing ever happened. And put some new rules for the spirits regarding that portal." Sean said.
"I bet Aang never would have imagined if Republic City was still around that a Spirit portal would be right outside it." Korra said looking at it.
"Korra...You helped transform the world more in a few short years than Any other Avatar I ever trained in the last 10,000 years. And I am so proud of you for that." Sean said making her smile.
"I know. And being immortal means I can still do a lot of things in life." Korra said.
"Live as long as I have and you'll find anything is possible." Sean said making her smile before looking at him.
"I know you were in a pretty difficult place when you two were separated for three years. But maybe it had to happen so you could finally move on in life. And be thankful for the new life you have now." Korra said.
"I know. And I am thankful I have you and the kids. Without question." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him before Senna walked to them.
"Korra, Kyoshi is getting kinda fussy right now." Senna said making her giggle.
"I can think of a good reason why." Korra said going to her youngest while Sean and Godzilla stayed.
'You know...I don't think I ever thanked you.' Sean said confusing him.
'Hmm? For what?' Godzilla asked.
'For helping me through what happened after the war. For helping me find a purpose in life. And helped me stay sane for all those years when I thought I brought the Kaiju here when Mark was the one who did it.' Sean said making him chuckle.
'Is that not what friends do for one another? You would have done the same for me or anyone else.' Godzilla said making him smile.
'Yeah...You know Korra is talking about that subject again right?' Sean asked.
'Having her and Raava Separated. Honestly I think she's right. The world doesn't really need the Avatar anymore since we're back and all threats have been permanently eliminated. What more could she do now with her?' Godzilla asked.
'Future threats.' Sean said.
'I think we both know there won't be future threats with the more strict rules we put in place to prevent people like Mark from getting far.' Godzilla said making him nod.
'Yeah.' Sean said.
Soon Sean and Korra were outside the city at the spirit portal.
"So...We're really gonna do this?" Korra asked making him nod.
"You'll still have all four bending abilities so that won't change." Sean said making her smile.
"And even if it did I'm fine with just being a water bender." Korra said making him chuckle before Godzilla took control before taking his form as his clawed hand glowed touching her forehead before pulling back with Raava as she flew into the air before Sean took control and held Korra close.
"Whoa. That felt weird." Korra said making him chuckle as they both looked at Raava. "So...I guess this is goodbye." Korra said.
"For now. I have very little doubt that this will be the last we meet. And even though the Avatar cycle is over...You have proven to be the best since Wan. I am proud of you Korra." Raava said making her tear up before Raava flew into the spirit world as Korra held her husband close.
"I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. Let's go home." Sean said as they walked back to the city.
10,000 years later
Its been 10,000 years since the final battle against Keizer and since the age of the Avatar came to an end willingly by Korra who had Raava separated from her since the world no longer needed the Avatar anymore.
Since then the world had none no violence, No petty wars or Poverty.
None of the problems it faced during the 30,000 years after the end of the Kaiju war.
Only the best of what life had to offer under the Titans rule as it did during the golden years before Mark's actions destroyed the original.
For Sean and his family everything was perfect.
Right now Sean was at the house making a new adjustment.
"NO! Fucking robots." Sean said as they were working on a crop field he was working on and messing it up.
"HAHAHA! Dad why don't you just do it yourself?"
Sean looked seeing his now adult daughter Katara who almost looked like a spitting image of the original.
Now like their father they had taken into the science field but unlike him they didn't invent things in the big labs like he did in his youth.
Katara decided to make inventions that actually sped up crop productions incase any natural disasters occurred in the other Cities to send that extra food to them.
"Honey, I am not a damn farmer. Why did you choose this job field anyway?" Sean asked making her laugh.
"Cause I'm good at it. You told us how you thought you brought the Kaiju here 40,000 years ago and never wanted to be a big league scientist again. Neither do I." Katara said making him smile before holding her close.
"I know. And believe me I am so proud of how far you and your brother and sisters have come in 10,000 years...Well nearly 10,000 years since the Convergence is happening tonight." Sean said making her smile.
"Are Grandma and Papa coming to Titan City?" Katara asked.
"Course. They'll be here in a couple hours. Now please help me fix these damn robots." Sean said making her laugh before inserting a command making them do what he needed which made him sigh in annoyance while she giggled.
"Maybe I'm smarter than you are old man." Katara said.
"HA HA HA!." Sean said unamused making her laugh as he went inside.
Sighing he went to the kitchen getting himself a drink.
"I still can't believe she's testing her new invention in our backyard." Korra said walking in the room holding a baby boy about 2 months old.
This was their son Damian Kruger. He had his mother's skin texture and hair but had his father's green eyes.
Korra had changed in the last 10,000 years with her hair now let loose down to her lower back.
"Yeah well, the best place she can test it is at home." Sean said taking his son who giggled as he held him. "Excited?" Sean asked making her grin.
"You kidding me? This time around we don't have to worry about Vaatu or Unalaq doing something during this." Korra said before Damian reached for his mother making her smile as she took him back. "It'll be nice for the family to see this." Korra said.
Later
Sean smiled as he walked into a small lab before seeing Junior with some equipment on himself making Sean chuckle.
"You know it's of no surprise to me you that you and your sister decided to improve the gaming and movie lives of everyone else in this era." Sean said making him chuckle as he took it off.
The oldest of his kids had decided to add new excitement into the world of Video games and Movies for people by making technology that not only allowed them to enter the games in person but feel everything as well allowing them to make the games and movies go and end the way the person wanted them to. (I guarantee someday thats gonna be reality in the future)
"What can I say Dad. Better this than what you did and worry about royally screwing up." Junior said making him chuckle.
"Technically I never actually screwed up since Mark was the one who made that shit happen." Sean said said as Hitomi walked in looking like a clone of her mother in her teen Avatar years.
"So what are you doing here dad?" Hitomi asked.
"Just checking up on you two and reminding you both too come home tonight since your grandparents are coming over for the convergence. You know this is the first time in history it doesn't involve Vaatu since he's long gone." Sean said.
"Yeah we know. Mom would kill us if we missed it." Junior said.
"It also might help if you brought your girlfriend over bud." Sean said making him roll his eyes.
"Karen and I have only been together 3 months." Junior said.
"Doesn't matter. Your mother wants to actually meet her. And I want to meet this guy you've been spending so much time with sweetheart." Sean said.
"Why so you can scare him like you tried to do with Uncle Kai?" Hitomi asked making him chuckle.
"Hey I didn't like him back then because he was a thief." Sean said making them grin.
"You know it's funny that you had such a hard time with Aunt Sarah and Uncle Kai but you never once had an issue with Aunt Dawn marrying Aunt Ikki." Hitomi said.
That was very true since 5 years after Sarah got married Dawn and Ikki actually got into a romantic relationship before marrying a year later and Sean never once had an issue with it. (Like I was gonna pair her with Meelo of all people. I feel sorry for anyone who does end up with him)
"Hey I got no issues with your Aunt's marriage even if it's to Ikki since their a lot alike. Dawn is a showoff and she's always energetic." Sean said making them laugh.
"True. See ya later." Junior said.
Later
Arriving at the Medical division Sean saw his second twins working on something together.
"My oldest work on games and movies. My second oldest works on crops and my third oldest work in the medical division." Sean said making them laugh.
"Yeah Dad you got a nice set of kids in three different fields." Kyoshi said making him nod.
"If your here to remind us to come for the convergence don't worry. We have no intention of missing it." Yangchen said.
"Good otherwise your mother is gonna throw a fit." Sean said.
"Yeah, we know." Kyoshi said making him chuckle.
Soon Sean was back at his home resting on the couch.
'You know it's funny. I was sure you would try to keep them from being scientists to make sure they didn't turn out like you.' Godzilla said
'Yeah well so long as they didn't go to the big leagues like I did I didn't have any problems. Besides...All of them have made life better for the people since they got older.' Sean said.
'True. It's good to see things as they used to be long ago.' Godzilla said.
Thats when Sean heard Damian crying upstairs making him get up and went upstairs before finding him in his crib before picking him up.
"It's ok buddy." Sean said as he calmed down.
"There you are." Korra said walking to them before taking Damian in her arms who yawned making them smile.
"The kids will be here soon. Along with everyone else." Sean said making her smile.
"Good." Korra said before looking at her youngest son. "You wanna see your big brother and sisters?" Korra asked making him laugh.
Later
Soon everyone was at the estate with their own families and children.
Sarah and her husband Kai had three kids. Two sons and a daughter. Tristan, Dominic and Ashely who unlike the rest of the family had more simpler jobs.
Then there was Dawn and Ikki who also had their own kids. Two daughters who took after their mothers. Thanks to modern science in Genetics allowed them to have one each. Jessica who was Ikki's daughter was a lot like her in her younger years and an Airbender. Then there was Dana who was a near copy of her mother in using her firebending to perform in front of people.
Turok and Jinora who now had three kids with. Tracy being the oldest with a brother and Sister. Wolf and Lesli whoo were a lot like their mother being curious for knowledge.
Reznov and Julia who married a couple years after Sarah and Kai also had a couple kids. Vladimir and Isabella who were a mix of both parents.
Then there was David and Asami now having 4 kids. Alice of course and two brothers and one sister. Zack, Colin and Amara who like their mother were very smart working at Future Industries.
Then there was Bolin and Opal who had two daughters. The first was named after her grandmother Toph who 40 years later passed away peacefully and buried in Metal City at the Estate. And then there was Suki named after the Kyoshi warrior in Aang's old group during the hundred year war. The oldest was an Earth Bender and the youngest was an Airbender.
And Mako and Meelo had their own wives and children as well Along with Suyin's sons. (Not going to go into details on them)
"Come here you." Senna said picking up her new Grandson who giggled at his grandmother making her smile. "I'm still surprised you two decided to have another after so long." Senna said rocking her grandson.
"Immortality gives you all the reasons to have as many kids as possible." Korra said before seeing Junior with his girlfriend who had blonde hair and brown eyes and white skin grinning at him while Hitomi had her own boyfriend who had a muscular build holding her close making her smile. "Besides you'll get great Grandchildren soon enough." Korra said making her giggle.
"It's beginning." Godzilla said making everyone look as the Convergence was about to begin before the beams crossed.
Unlike previous times however though the convergence would not decide the fate of Earth and only showed colorful lights in the sky.
"It's beautiful." Korra said as he husband held her close.
"Yeah. But as much as you." Sean said making her smile as she kissed him.
"I love you." Korra said.
"I love you too. For everything." Sean said.
'HMPH! I almost miss the days when there was a fight at any moment.' Godzilla said amused making him chuckle.
'Well thats why we made that little tournament in Metal City to have you guys fight for once a year fun.' Sean said making him chuckle.
For 10,000 years the world was completely at peace.
The Kaiju no longer were enemies of Earth since they surrendered to Godzilla when Keizer was defeated the first time and Keizer was no more or Mark for that Matter.
The new golden Age of the Titans had begun 10,000 years ago and unlike last time this one would never end.
And if somehow a new threat ever emerged either from Earth or beyond the stars.
Sean and Godzilla would stop it before it had a chance to threaten their world.
Authors Note: And with that Ladies and Gentlemen...The Avatar's Guardian comes to an end...NOT AGAIN! I hate when these stories come to an end since I enjoy all of them. But at least now I can work on my next Legend of Korra story which is a Yugioh Crossover. Return of the Ancients. And boy do I have some special plans for this one and yes it is a Harem. Now heres the list of other series using Legend of Korra I plan to make in the Future.
