-1 Chapter 5 : Kareena's ex

"He eats just like my ex-boyfriend, Koga. He just shovels some into his mouth and slurps up the rest. Scary." Kareena said as her ear twitched.

"What was that? Did you say something Kareena?" InuYasha asked with rice all over the side if his mouth.

"Uh, yeah. Not sure you'll care though. I just said you eat like my ex-boyfriend."

"Really, what's his name?" InuYasha asked with a doubtful, uncaring voice.

"I doubt you know him, his name is Koga. He's an ookami." Kareena answered, looking up at the sapphire sky.

"What! You went out with Koga!" InuYasha yelled with rage.

He threw his rice at the ground and went up into the tree that Kareena was in. he looked at her angrily, but she couldn't figure out why.

"What are you so angry about? Its not like I'm your girlfriend or anything. Anyway I dumped him a few months ago."

InuYasha just starred at her with a mixed message on his face. His eyes watched her intensely, as if she was hurting his feelings in some way. Her facial expressions changed from confused and snappy to guilty. Tears formed in her eyes as she lumped out of the tree and ran into the hut.

"What did ye do to her, InuYasha? I suggest that ye go apologize to her." Kaede spoke in a wise tone.

"But I don't know what I did. I just looked at her and she got all upset." InuYasha yelled down as he leaped from the tree.

Kaede glared at him doubtingly.

"Fine, I'll go." InuYasha walked over to the curtain "Kareena, can I come in? I'm gomen."

No answer came as he moved the curtain to peek inside.

"She's gone!" he exclaimed.

"Maybe she sensed ye coming, so she ran." Kaede said. ( déjà vu, to the max)

"But there is no way out of the hut, besides the door."

"You are wrong InuYasha. The other way is hidden and I shall not show you. I am leaving. Do not follow me or else I will slit your stomach open." Kareena spoke from the tree where they had the argument.

"How did you get passed me?" InuYasha asked, turning around to face her.

Her face was still flushed from crying a moment ago. her eyes were fixed on InuYasha as if he were some type of evil cat youkai.

"InuYasha , you know nothing about foxes do you? We are the slyest and quickest animals in the entire population of demons."

And with that said, Kareena turned and jumped away, going from tree to tree.

InuYasha just starred at her as she left. His ear twitched and Kaede looked at him.

"Well?" Kaede said

"Well what?" InuYasha growled snappishly back.

"Aren't ye going after her?" she asked

"She said not to. And besides, I've angered her enough today." InuYasha replied and looked down.

"InuYasha, ye have not learned anything about women have ye? When a women who is crying tells ye not to follow her, she truly wishes for ye to follow." Kaede said wisely.

"Why cant women just say what they want to happen? Why do they have to be so damn complicated?" InuYasha barked and growled.

"Girls like to test ye. See how experienced ye are with them." Kaede replied.

InuYasha growled at that statement.

"So does she want me to follow her or not?" InuYasha asked impatiently.

"Follow her." Kaede said politely.

"Arigatou, you old hag." InuYasha said rudely as he departed to track down the vixen.

Kaede sighed, just as he left.

Kareena traveled in a complete circle, making it so she got to the hot spring in approximately twenty minutes. Once undressed, she slid into the spring, forcing steam to arise. Closing her eyes, she took a silent, relaxing, nap.

A/N: I hope the interval between this time and the last time I updated is small enough for you. From what I understand, a lot of readers like my brothers editor notes. that's good, cause then you guys may be entertained longer. I really am sorry about how short my chapters are, its just , I write them down on paper first and have about three or more people that have seen InuYasha tell me what I did wrong . You know what is really scary though? My English teacher wants to read my story. I do not think that it is such a good idea though. Speaking that, in later chapters, there is going to be more and more curse words. 'shudders' I hope if she reads this I don't get in any trouble. I am previously writing a new InuYasha story so I will let you guys know when I put it up in case you want to read it. Well, see you next update.
