Michael opened his eyes, they were still at the house, he sat up. He looked over to Alyssa's bed, but she wasn't there. He got up, worried that something may have happened to her. But she walked out of the bathroom and into the room, he looked over at her. She had her hand on her stomach, and she looked pale. She laid back down on her bed.

He laid down next to her, and she snuggled up to him. She looked up at him, he laid his head against the wall, and she ended up falling asleep. He found her slowly paced breathing comforting, and he fell asleep as well.

"Michael," His mother said, in his dream, he looked over at her, and a little girl with brown eyes, and red hair stood next to her. He looked at them, and tilted his head. "Kill her, Michael," She said.

He was confused about who he was talking about, but she disappeared, and he woke up.

It was night, and Alyssa was still asleep. But she had kicked her blanket off, and he put it back on her, because she was shivering. He felt something in his chest again, and he took a deep breath.

Then Alyssa sat up, "Are you alright, Michael?" She asked. He faintly nodded, and she smiled.

She could see that he was thinking about something.

He stood up, and offered his hand. She took it, and they went to the kitchen.

"Oh, I didn't know that you got food," She said. He nodded, and pulled out some bread, and put butter on it. She took it, she was hoping that it would help her stomach.

He sat down at the rotting dining table. And she did the same.

"I was wanting to relax today, if that's alright with you," She said, and he nodded again.

Michael found Alyissa vomiting again, and she was soon able to leave the bathroom, and he let her relax on his chest.

She quickly fell asleep, he was stone cold. He was lost in thought, until Alyssa woke up, and moved slightly in his arms.

The next day

Alyssa and Michael were walking together, because she requested it, and Michael tagged along. He didn't want her getting hurt.

A guy came up to them, and went over to Alyssa, she grabbed Michael's arm, the look in the guy's eyes was a bit unnerving.

Michael clenched his fist, but quickly got angry.

"Hey, sweetheart," He said. She moved back, and tried to block her nose, he reeked of alcohol. He moved forward, and Michael was done with this.

He moved forward, and he could feel Alyssa's hands let go, he grabbed the guy's hair, and started to lift him above the ground.

The guy started kicking, and screaming. Then Michael started strangling him. The guy and finally stopped, so Michael cracked his neck, and dropped him.

Alyssa had her hand on her stomach, and he held out his hand for her to grab. She accepted it, and they started walking. But he could tell that something was wrong.

"I would like to go home, I'm not feeling well." She said, and he nodded.

Alyssa was asleep, and Michael put a lightweight blanket over her. He moved over to his bed, and laid down, until he heard a gunshot go off. Alyssa jumped up, and Michael sat up, he knew that Alyssa would be scared, so he was going to fix it.

He went downstairs, and broke a bar off of the railing, and he continued downstairs. And he could see the guy who was holding the gun, and hit him in the head.

The other person in the room started shooting at him, and he ignored the bullets. He held the guy's head still, and shoved the bar in his throat. He dropped the bar, and went back upstairs.

Alyssa was in the corner crying, and Michael went over to her. "I'm sorry, Michael." He wiped her eyes, and she sniffled. He rubbed her shoulder, and sat down next to her, she rested on his lap, and fell asleep.

8 months later

October 30th

Michael heard the door open, and Alyssa looked up at him. She was laying on her mattress, he put it where his old bed had been, so it would be easier for her to relax on the bed.

He sat down on her bed, he tried not to kill infront of her, because it would make her uncomfortable. His attention snapped to the door, when Alyssa gasped, and someone shot a gun, but they missed her head by 3 centimeters.

Michael got up, and blocked Alyssa from his aim. He grabbed the guy's gun, and dug his knife in the guy's neck. The guy choked on blood. He turned back when the guy was no longer coughing, and he found Alyssa standing, he helped her sit back down.

"Thank you Michael," She said, he nodded, and gave her another pillow.

He laid back down on his bed, he had been laying in Alyssa's bed, but he didn't want to be confined, he felt a bit stressed, and a bit under pressure, but he shook the feelings away, and thought about his mother.
