A/N: This is my first Sky High fic. And Warren…whoa. Hot is an understatement. I've found that I like this pairing better than Will/Layla. And I think this is 200 words exactly.
One smile. That's all it takes. One shy smile with the hint of dimples at the sides, and his tough protective shell is shattered into a million pieces.
It scares the hell out of him.
It terrifies him that one simple boy with brown hair can make him go weak at the knees, make his pulse speed up abnormally, make time freeze when their eyes meet, make him want to push that boy up against the wall and forget the eyes of the rest of the world.
He's used to being in control. And then he finds that he's not. His heart is held like the strings of a puppet, and sometimes he feels like he's falling and his world's spinning out of control.
When they kiss, an awkward bumping of lips, the only thing that he can think is ohgodohgodohgod and his eyes slam shut and he sees fire.
And at home, when there's nothing separating him from his thoughts and feelings, because the one that knows him best is himself, he finds that the only thing that explains any of this bewildering, frightening mess of a relationship is that, maybe, the fire in his veins needs someone invulnerable.
