I encounter Emma and her daughter Ellie who has Down Syndrome in the waiting room. A hug from Ellie hug puts a smile on my face. I thank Ellie for her hug. Ellie plays with a teddy bear as she continues to wait for the doctor. "Down Syndome Kids such as Ellie are often affectionate. I hope it doesn't bother you" Emma explains. "I appreciate Ellie's hug especially right now. My son Chadwick has cancer. Morgana is with him now" I confide in Emma. I don't know if her child or mine is suffering more.
