(Author's Note: This will probably be the last chapter for the time being, I have a few ideas of where to go from here, but I'll need time to work on them, anyways, in this chapter, Mr. Schmid will be portrayed by someone who y'all will recognize, i'm not saying who it it).
Chapter Four - Meet Mr. Schmid
Both Alan and Laura are in bed, together, Alan is breathing heavily.
Alan - Wow, we're still good.
Laura - Thanks.
Alan - I definitely missed out.
The bedroom door is opened, in walks yet another familiar face.
Rose - Hey, Alan.
Alan - Hi, Rose.
Rose - Hi, Laura.
Laura - Hello, Rose.
Alan - You two know each other?
Laura - It's a long story.
Rose - Am I interrupting?
Alan - No.
Rose sits down on the bed.
Alan - What are you doing here?
Rose - I just thought I'd come and check up on you and Jake, see how you guys are doing.
Alan - We're doing fine so far, how about you?
Rose - It's never easy, getting over someone dying, but I guess in time, I'll be okay.
Alan - Good to hear.
Rose - I mean, when that train came, and took the life of the man I loved for so many years, a part of me felt sad, but then I decided to do what Charlie always did.
Alan - Drink heavily, sleep around, and not give a damn about the consequences?
Rose - No, silly, live life to the fullest, just like he did.
Laura - She's right, you know.
Rose - Thank you, Laura.
She gets up.
Rose - It was nice catching up with the both of you.
Alan - Anytime?
Rose - Tell Walden I said hi.
Alan - We'll tell him.
Instead of going out the way she came, Rose is opening the door to the balcony.
Alan - You're not going out the way you came in?
Rose - Alan, Don't try to control me, I'm not that crazy.
She exits the room.
Laura - She seems nice.
Alan - If only you knew.
Laura - Believe me, Charlie's told me stories about her.
Alan - Really.
Laura - Did you ever hook up with her?
Alan - It's a long story, and it didn't end well for me.
She smiles, and they go to sleep.
The next day, both Alan and Laura are coming down the stairs.
Alan - Thanks for the visit.
Laura - Look out for him.
Alan - Will do.
Laura - My husband should be here soon.
Alan - What does Mr. Schmid do?
Laura - He's a former cop. Since retired, he also drives a chopper.
Alan - A motorcycle. Cool.
Laura - He won it in a card game, from a guy named Zed.
Alan - Zed. Sounds like a great guy.
Laura - Zed's dead.
Alan - A great dead guy.
There's a knock at the door. Alan walks over to the door, he opens it, there's a man standing there, he's bald, wearing a brown jacket, white t-shirt, and blue jeans, this is Laura's husband, Mr. Schmid.
Mr. Schmid - You Alan Harper?
Alan - Yes?
The man punches him, knocking him down.
Alan - What was that for?
Mr. Schmid - That's for leaving Laura as a single mother.
He kicks him.
Mr. Schmid - That's for Charlie sleeping with both of my sisters.
He kicks him again.
Alan - What was that kick for?
Mr. Schmid - For being a leech.
He kicks him yet again.
Mr. Schmid - Feel that sting, big boy!? That's pride messin with ya.
Laura is turned on by this.
Laura - Oh, John, take me.
Mr. Schmid - Sure thing, babe.
He carries her in his arms, bridal style.
Mr. Schmid - Let's ride.
He turns to Alan.
Mr. Schmid - Yippee ki yay, Alan Harper.
They leave the house, Alan gets up, he's bleeding from his nose, the chopper drives off. He closes the door, turns around, and looks at the portrait of Charlie, his smiling grin annoys Alan.
Alan - You enjoy seeing me suffer, don't you.
Alan heads to his room.
The End...For now.
