Even in the darkness, I made out Dizzy's shape. She was putting gifts into her dad's car at the time. Cautiously, I approached my granddaughter in the parking lot. My presence startled and frightened her briefly. Eventually she gave me a hug. She accepted my belated birthday gift in which was a snowglobe. I was her plus one for the Christmas party. Everyone especially my Sweet Solomon was happy to see me. People kept on referring my son and me as a porcelain doll child and Father time.
