You don't see my tears but they are there
I don't ask for help because I know no one can help me
I sleep to escape from this life and yet am hunted by faces that died long ago
I don't speak of it, but you will see it in my eyes if you take the time
The sadness, the emptyness, the fear
I close myself off to the world trying to deal with what I feel
Nothing people say can take the pain away
People have tried, and failed to help me
They ended up hurt or even worst just like me
I turn another page in my life as I write this note
Maybe someday someone will stumble upon it and finally see
The true me.
"Till tomorrow," she whispered to the night before the dim light she had next to her bed was extinguished.
Resting her head on her pillow she tried to fall asleep only to find that everytime her eyes closed her thoughts jumped to life. Sighing she got up and turned on the light so she wouldn't bump into anything in the dark, she wouldn't be sleeping at the moment so why waste time.
Sitting on the cold stone floor of her small apartment, she retrieved a box from under her bed.
So many memories, so many tears she had cried over the many pictures in her photo album.
She sighed, she missed them all so much. Three years had passed, and with time she had learned that it still hurt everytime she remember them. Turning to the last page she saw a picture of herself with a man standing close. She was smiling and if you looked closly he was too. How her heart ached, she missed him so much. She remembered recieve the news of his disappearance. No one knew anything of him since then, and everyone thought him dead, even herself. Three years she had held to the smallest hope of him returning to her, but only to be dissapointed in the end.
"I still love you," she whispered to the photo as she ran a finger over his face. Placing it in its rightful place, she returned to bed. Sighing she turned off the light and hoped that tonight she would be able to sleep at least a few hours. As she drifted off to sleep, the shadows of her past came out of hiding and hunted her dreams yet again.
"Wake up, were going to be late" she heard someone say as the shook her. Opening her eyes her vision fell on a red head with dark blue eyes.
"Gin-Ginny," she said finally.
Ginny laughed, "Come on lazy, Ron and Harry are waiting."
Tears filled her vision. "You're dead," she spoke sadly, " they all are"
"Why won't you leave me alone" As the last words were spoken the room began to spin and she found herself standing infront of a man with black shoulder length hair.
All she could do was look into his eyes, like to deep pools of darkness. Strength, confusion, wonder, and sadness could be seen shinning through them.
"Be strong, don't give up." He said before fading away leaving a crying woman behind. They had been the few last words he had told her before leaving and never returning to her.
"Severus...come back," she wept
