Act 1
'Don't do it, Sailor Sun,' Orianna lifted her head and saw Sol fly in their direction. 'A minion of Queen Mania can not be trusted.'
'He'll still kill her,' Helios followed suite and behind him down below, the scouts appeared.
'Hn, now we have an unwanted party and an unwilling scout,' the Knight was disappointed. 'Too bad, I would have kept my word.'
Orianna watched as he pulled his equipped arm back and plunged it forward gathering momentum. 'STOP!' She screamed and a blinding light erupted throughout the clearing and engulfed everyone freezing time.

When the light bursted forth, Orianna had felt herself propelled backwards. Causing a fear of what if probability to creep into her already frightened mind. What if Irina was plunged back with the force of the light and impaled by the sword that was coming towards her. Then she would also be the cause of her death, seeing that instead of stopping the Knight, she aided him. Oh heavens, she thought as cold dread seeped through her and down her spine as she tried to run towards their direction before the light cleared. Only problem was she was frozen in place and as the light from her command receded she saw why.
Standing before the spot she had once been, stood a female with long dark hair, wearing a sleeveless light golden colored gown, her body petite but by the way the dress clung on to her body in a soft embrace it was voluptuous. Orianna could only watch from behind as the woman, began to step forward in the direction of Irina. With each step she flicked in and out, teleporting closer and closer to her destination. She reached out a small hand towards her blonde friend and upon landing it on Irina's soft and bare shoulder, she teleported her away from the up coming danger. Orianna heard a small thump noise behind her, she could only assume that Irina had been teleported near the scouts. If she could turn around she could validate her assumption and her mind would be at ease. Nonetheless, against her control, she continued to watch the woman that appeared out of nowhere. Knowing in her heart that it was the mysterious Princess they had been looking for and sent to protect. Yet what had promoted her to appear now? She noticed as the blade the Knight was holding disintegrated at her touch, before she drew closer to him and cupped his helmet in her hands.
'Dear Cousin, it has been such a long time,' her voice rang out a clear and soft melody. The cracked helmet in her hands broke away and revealed the face beneath it.
As soon as Orianna saw the face of their adversary, her breathing stopped. Bright sky blue hues stared at the woman slightly floating before him. His blonde hair falling around his pale aristocratic face. A face that she was always happy to greet upon recognition, because it belonged to a dear friend. 'Seems like she's at it again,' the woman spoke to him as he glared daggers at her. 'I should help you,' she whispered as she leaned her head forward so that she could lean her forehead against his.
Inches away from touching him, a black fog with red bolts of lightening began to emulate around him and she pulled back. 'Seems like she's not ready to let you go just yet,' she reached out to cup his face with her right hand, but he was whisked away. Pulled by a slender and feminine hand with red nails that appeared behind him and yanked him through a dark portal. 'Hmm,' she dropped her hand loosely to her side, disappointed.
Orianna continued to watch the woman, who turned to her left and offered a profile of her face. Which oddly enough seemed familiar. She watched as she began to move towards the Dark Nite and Atropos, at first her target seemed to be the Dark Nite but soon it became clear that she was after Atropos. His eyes widen as he watched her move towards him and Orianna wondered if he was trying to move or praying to his dark Mistress to save him. Unfortunately for him the Princess reached her intended target and cup the sides of his head with both her hands. A soft light glow of yellow emanated from her hands and seeped into him. Orianna imagined him silently screaming as his mouth fell open, his body going rigid to her touch and an explosion of goosebumps; as his small hairs stood up.
'There,' the Princess cheerfully voiced as she pulled her hands away and admired her work. Allowing Atropos's body to collapse to the ground as he fainted from the sudden attack against his mind control. 'Now,' she turned to the Dark Nite and she smiled at him, her gaze soft and loving. 'It's time to remember the past and learn a bit more about our enemy.'
Orianna thought she was talking to him, but the Princess tilted her head towards her and finally revealed herself. Now she knew something was extremely wrong, the person standing before the Dark Nite had her face, her body and her voice. No, that wasn't right. She looked down at herself and saw that her body was translucent, an astral projection of herself, of the—, 'It's nothing to fear, just a fact that needs to be accepted,' the Princess softly beamed at her and then at everyone else before another pulse was released from her and they were freed.
The Princess had disappeared from her place before Atropos and the Dark Nite. He turned to look at her, his eyes questioning, but not daring to voice his inquiries. She wanted to tell him that she had no idea of what had just happened, yet as soon as she started to open her mouth a dark shadow moved forward and eclipsed her vision. Her body moved downward as she lost stability and began to fall, the last thing she heard before she lost consciousness was her name being called out. 'Sailor Sun!'
When he noticed the parlor of her face drain and her eyes become unfocused, he knew that something was wrong. The Dark Nite raced towards her as she began to fall forward, using his teleportation ability at the last instant to appear in front of her and cushion her blow. 'Sailor Sun,' he called out to her as he eased her down and turned her, so that she would lay on her back.
'Sailor Orion,' Sailor Cepheus turned to the medic scout that was currently checking out the status of Irina, whom was unharmed and unconscious. 'We need to go and see what's wrong with the Princess,' the slip was natural, but at the same time wrong. 'I mean, Sailor Sun.'
'Right,' Sailor Orion nodded as she finished and got up from beside Irina.
'We're going to have to take her back to the temple,' Sailor Cepheus turned to Taurus and Virgo, whom remained immobile and silent.
Taurus was the first to react, 'I can do that,' she looked at the sleeping beauty.
'Sailor Virgo,' Sailor Cepheus turned to the green Sailor Scout and followed her gaze.
'What about him,' she inquired as Cepheus turned to follow her gaze.
Atropos, he still remained unconscious and on the ground from the Princess's attack. 'We'll have to bind him and bring him with us,' Sol stated as she landed on Sailor Cepheus's shoulder. 'Maybe he can be of use to us.'
What if she fried his brain, Sailor Virgo wanted to ask, but was afraid that Sol would see it as an insult. She was also afraid of what the answer might be. 'Clotho, might be able to help us control him,' Sailor Cepheus reasoned with the idea of having another villain within the vicinity, especially now that they knew that Orianna was the Princess.
They all nodded, 'I'll take her back,' Sailor Taurus kneeled before Irina and gently picked her up. 'I'll be back soon.'
They nodded and watched as the blonde left with the other girl in arms. 'Now, time for our friend,' Sailor Cepheus and Sailor Virgo headed over to Atropos. Once they reached his side, Sailor Cepheus gazed at him and frowned. She wanted to hate him, but she also recalled Clotho's words about him being brainwashed. Therefore, she was conflicted with her desires and her reasons, since you couldn't really hate someone for something they had no control over. She sighed, 'Bind his hands, please.' She watched as Sailor Virgo kneeled beside him, grabbed each of his hands and placed them before him. Not lingering in her contact with him, for fear that he might wake up before his hands were tied up. Sailor Virgo then placed her hands flat on the ground and began a small chant.
From the ground two set of vines appeared and began to wrap themselves around his wrists. 'Now, shall we see if we can wake him up,' Sol suggested.
Virgo nodded and reached out to touch his shoulder and softly shake it. It was surreal to be touching the man that had made her heart stir and also shatter. As realization dawned on her, after the first attack, that he was the man she had met hours before the runway show. She had never said anything to the scouts for fear that they might turn on her and believe that she would betray them for him. 'Atropos,' she called out his name, 'wake up.'
Sailor Cepheus was becoming impatient, she tapped Sailor Virgo's shoulder and gestured her back. 'Allow me,' she kneeled beside him once, Virgo moved and instead of gently shaking his shoulder. She grabbed both and shook him with force, 'Wake up, you fiend. You have a mess to clean up!'
Virgo turned away as Cepheus slapped him and the sound of her hand hitting his cheek could be heard echoing loud and clear. 'Sailor Cepheus maybe we should wait until Sailor Orion gets done with Sailor Sun and she can wake him.'
'No way,' Cepheus was about to slap him once more, when bright green eyes stared up at her bewildered and furious at the mad woman, who dared to wake him from his slumber with force.
'Unhand me, you She-woman,' he ordered her as he tried to pull away from her, only to fall backwards on his back.
'She-woman,' Cepheus's right hand clutched into a fist as she was getting ready to beat the insolent fiend.
'Of course, you Brute,' he tried to move his hands, so that he could use them to get up but they wouldn't budge. He lifted his head up and looked down at his hands bound by vines. 'What is the meaning of this?'
Cepheus right eye was twitching and the vein on her temple was prominent as he rubbed at her last nerve. He was better off unconscious, she lifted her fist back and was about to knock him out, when Virgo reached out and grabbed her. 'Maybe, if we calm down and explain the situation, we can come to an understanding without violence,' she offered to smile at Sailor Cepheus, but it wavered with the fierce glare directed at her for her insubordination.
'You should listen to your friend, you Heathen.'
'No insults either,' Virgo sweat dropped as Cepheus yanked her arm free.
'Because you asked so kindly and are a beauty, unlike your ogre friend. I will behave.' Atropos stated as he studied the slightly frightened beauty above him. Her cheeks coloring a bit after his comment. Making him realize that she was a goddess in human form, he admired her long legs, child bearing hips, small waist, voluptuous bosom, long neck, lushes pink lips, small nose, high cheek bones and stunning green hues. Yup, a goddess in human form, he repeated to himself, sent to save him from the she-woman beside him.
Cepheus saw the way he studied Virgo and sharply punched his arm. 'Stop ogling her, you Perverted Fiend.'
Atropos cried out as the she-woman punched him hard, 'Owww! You Witch, what's your problem?'
'You,' she threatened to continue beating him, but Virgo held her back.
'Enough, now is not the time to fight. We still need him to help us,' Sol turned to the energy orb left forgotten beside the unconscious photographer.
'Sol is right,' Virgo tried to calm Cepheus down.

'How is she,' Dark Nite asked as he shifted his gaze away from the loud trio to the females before him.
Sailor Orion had been reviewing Sailor Sun's vitals, 'She is fine, just unconscious from the energy spent.' Orion could see the soft and thin glow of Orianna's energy slowly fading. 'Once the Scouts and I take her home and allow her to rest, she'll be better.'
'I shall take her,' Dark Nite wasn't about to let them come in-between them. His memories had been returned, so he knew who and what she was and she wasn't going to be taken away from him. Not again. 'If you don't allow me to go with you, she will come with me, Sailor Orion or should I say Lydia.'
She blinked, her eyes returning to normal and slowly looked up at the determined male before her. The Dark Nite, an unknown in the present and an anomaly of her past memories. He had helped them with his own hidden agenda, but he always protected Sailor Sun as if his life depended on it. A constant knight for the Princess and a yearning desire for Sailor Sun. She had voiced it once and been reprimanded by Aiden, nevertheless even if she never voiced it it was apparent in her gaze and actions when interacting with him. 'How do we know that you mean no harm,' she asked.
'Because you have known me for a while now,' he called back his transformation and appeared before her as the friend to them and lover to Orianna.
Her breath caught as he revealed his identity and still asked, 'Nox?'
He nodded, 'I think that it is safe to say that I won't be of any harm and I will not be separated from her.'
'I,' she wanted to protest, for his identity would bring chaos. Plus they already had so many issues to address. 'I will need to talk to the scouts.'
'So be it, but either I go with her or she comes with me,' he told her as his gaze dropped and softened as he stared at Orianna.
Helios had taken to watch them and once he saw and heard the male's determination, swooped down and landed on Orion's shoulder. He had been given the task of ensuring Orianna's safety, since Sol was too afraid of hearing any bad news first hand. 'He should come,' he announced, 'we seem to have a common enemy and goal, I am assuming.'
Dark orbs lifted to find the source of the male voice and landed on the small white bird resting on Lydia's shoulder. 'Mania, but I also have to save my friend.'
Skye, it had been a shocking revelation to her when she had identified the friendly blonde as their enemy. Based on the Princess's interaction with him it was safe to assume that he wasn't really the enemy, but someone being controlled and manipulated. Since in her past she remember him as a friend and victim. 'We understand,' Helios nodded his head and so did Orion. 'Let us not waste anymore time,' he told them and watched as the male reached out and slipped his arms beneath Orianna. Her powers had dissipated and were no longer able to hold her transformation.
Lydia watched him as he cradled Orianna lovingly in his arms and wondered just how much he truly cared for her. She got up and joined him as he made his way over to the active trio. Olivia was trying to hold Aiden back as she tried to strangle Atropos. 'Enough,' Nox commanded as he neared them.
Cepheus's hands slightly loosened from around the cretin's neck, as she turned her head to gaze at the person giving her the order. To say that she wasn't surprised by the sudden revelation was a lie. Standing with Orianna in his arms and Orion by his side was Nox. Her hands released Atropos and fell loosely by her side, her mouth slightly unhinged and eyes wide. This can not be! There was no way that Nox was the Dark Nite. However, he seemed unfazed by them and Orianna's limp and unconscious form in his arms. 'We need to release the energy back to the people at the shrine. We also need to get him back to Orianna's, to question him and allow her to rest,' he told them. 'Help him up, Aiden.'
'How,' she looked at Orion, 'did you?'
Lydia shook her head, 'He just knows.'
He knows! Did he know this whole entire time and that was why he was so close to them? Or did Orianna go and blabber without realizing that he was the Dark Nite? Or did she already know and hadn't told them about his identity? There were so many questions that she wanted to ask him. The important one being, if he knew about Skye and if not what would happen now? Could they trust him? 'Come on,' Olivia moved from behind her to help Atropos, who for some odd reason had decided to remain silent as he carefully surveyed them.
'He'll need to be the one to take the orb,' Nox said as he took off in the direction of the temple. 'I would suggest de-transforming so as not to draw too much attention.'
After returning to her normal attire, Lydia went over to the kneeling female and offered her hand. 'We should go,' Lydia told her as she watched Aiden slowly regain her senses. 'I am sure that whatever questions you have, he'll answer.'
'Yeah,' she de-transformed and reached out her hand to take the offered one.
Atropos and Olivia had gone over to pick up the fallen energy orb, 'So am I just going to be tied up and kept against my will,' Atropos hotly asked as he and Olivia followed after the silver haired male and fallen maiden.
'Until we are able to verify if you are a friend or foe,' she weakly offered him a smile.
'Uh, huh,' he turned his head and gazed at her, 'and which one do you think I am or would like me to be?'
Olivia could feel a soft blush creep on to her cheeks as he asked her the question in such a soft, but coy manner. 'I-I-I,' she cleared her throat and looked away.
'So you would like me to be a friend,' he replied with a smug smile, pleased with her reaction.
'Stop annoying Olivia,' Aiden came to her rescue or so she thought, but in reality she was ruining their moment.
'Humph,' Atropos was really starting to hate the dark haired female.
Before they arrived at the temple, Callista joined them, bewildered by the sudden appearance of Nox, but also their normal state. Minus having Atropos tied up. 'How's Irina?'
'Still asleep,' she de-transformed. 'Nox?'
'Dark Nite,' Lydia whispered.
'Oh,' she nodded and found that it made sense, considering how as himself or the Dark Nite, he was always there to defend and protect Orianna.
'I am going to take off ahead with Orianna,' Nox told them once they reached the temple. Without waiting for a reply, he continued on ahead in the direction of the parking lot were he left his car.
'I should come with you,' Aiden said as she hurried to join them.
'Shouldn't you stay and help take care of Atropos and your guests,' he looked down at her. 'Since this is your place of employment,' he noted the shrine attire.
Right, she needed to oversee that nothing happened to the people and she couldn't just up and leave without notice. 'At least let Lydia go with you, she is a medic after all.'
Nox's dark eyes turned to the light brunette and after a moment of considering it nodded. It didn't seem that they were going to trust him right away with Orianna's safety. It was understandable, 'Fine,' he conceded.
'Wow, never seen a Celestial take such orders from a dark demiurge,' Atropos had been questioning what made the male different from them, but similar to him. It had been his aura, he wasn't quite human and unlike them his powers weren't heavenly manifested. Thus he concluded that the silver haired male was a dark deity, not just a lesser daemon. Nevertheless, in his many years of life he had never met anyone like him.
'What,' Aiden turned to look at him.
'Yeah, didn't you know?' He asked as he turned to look at them and their baffled expressions. 'He's like me, but not. If that makes sense.'
The females surrounding him turned to look at the retreating trio, who hadn't heard Atropos's announcement. It made things more interesting and at the same time complicated. Leaving them to ask if they could truly trust him? It was something that answers and time would soon tell. 'Well, with this news we don't have much time to waste,' Sol said as she spread her wings ready for take off. 'Helios and I will follow him to see that nothing goes wrong and he doesn't decide to betray us. You all finish here and bring him back to the house,' she told them before taking flight with Helios behind her.
—Afterword—-
A: Hi, I hope you guys enjoyed this last chapter. I want to apologize for the long wait in-between the recap and first chapter. This chapter was so hard to get going and with so many things going on it was difficult.
I: I am just happy to know that I am alive. For the longest time I had feared for my life and well being.
Ai: I am disappointed about not being the Princess. But considering how our damsel in distress is a weakling, (she shifted her gaze to the unconscious Orianna) I'll let it pass.
A: Great. (She sweat dropped.)
Ol: I am excited about the future chapters. I feel like they'll be exciting.
C: (Gives Olivia a sly look) I bet you say that because of a certain red head.
Ol: I-I-I…(her face reddens).
Ai: (The memory of the red head makes her eye twitch) I forbid it!
A: (While everyone begins to argue with Aiden, the Author looks out at the audience and waves.) Please feel free to review. Just don't flame me, but I will accept honest criticism with sound judgement. I am always looking to improve and make this an enjoyable journey for you and me. So until next time, bye.
