Hey guys! Welcome to the seventh installment of my 'Under the Mistletoe Series Part Two'
What is this series? Well, around this time six years I got the song 'Holly Jolly Christmas' stuck in my head and wrote eleven drabbles based on kissing underneath mistletoe, and each one was for a different ship. This year I decided to do a Part Two and really challenge myself by writing something for each day from 1st-25th December. So twenty five ships, all kissing under mistletoe, like my own personal advent calendar as it were. Each one can be read alone. I know that not everyone is going to want to read every fic in the series, but I hope that you find them all enjoyable regardless, I know I certainly had fun writing them.
These two are so precious, I love the way they are with each other, hopefully I did them justice in this fic.
Enjoy, much love xox

When the weather turned cold, Aziraphale preferred to stroll through the shops rather than the parks. He just enjoyed the cosy warmth of browsing the shelves and racks, the hint of Christmas growing in the air, and it was much more preferable than sloshing about in the snow outside. Of course it didn't bother Crowley; he had long legs, but Aziraphale found snow to be less favourable in his short form.
The closer it came to Christmas the more decorations cropped up about the place. The park had been festooned with lights and tinsel, while shops had gone so overboard that they looked like they sold decorations, and not what the store was actually selling. Some did sell Christmas decorations however, and Aziraphale was always fascinated by the new things humans had designed that year to celebrate the season.
The pair were out for a walk one afternoon; Aziraphale just had to try the new donut shop in town, and of course Crowley wasn't going to let him go alone, even if he just had a cup of tea. He most certainly did not pinch a bite sized donut off of his Angel's loaded plate. Aziraphale smiled at the demon; he was used to Crowley doing this, and had taken to ordering a little extra to allow for it. Crowley had never ordered his own food in the hundreds of years that they'd been doing this for; it was just their routine now.
Aziraphale was always in a most pleasant mood after a delicious plate of food, he almost glowed with cheerfulness. This time was no different, they walked along the sidewalk, hand in hand while Aziraphale hummed a carol quietly. There was no fear of repercussions from either side anymore, so they could be as affectionate in public as they damn well pleased.
They passed many shops on their way back to the bookstore, all of them decorated brightly. Crowley was ignoring them in favour of making sure that he and Aziraphale didn't run into anyone on the sidewalk while the angel was mesmerised by all the flashing lights and bright colours.
"Oh, a Christmas shop!" Aziraphale exclaimed excitedly as he stopped in front of the pop up shop that had filled in the recently vacated store on the street.
Crowley groaned under his breath, "How ghastly."
"Oh come on Crowley, there has to be something that you like about Christmas," Aziraphale prompted, his gaze still fixed on the store, "it's such a joyous time of year."
"Can't think of a single thing, sorry Angel," Crowley told him flatly.
Aziraphale turned his head to look at the demon, "Would-would you mind if we just had a quick peek inside?"
How could Crowley resist that sweet face, he rolled his eyes behind his shades and nodded his head, "Alright, hurry up."
"Oh, thank you!" Aziraphale lit up, and Crowley melted a little.
They entered the small store that was stuffed to the brim with any and every kind of Christmas decoration and ornament that you could imagine. Aziraphale gazed around in wonderment, and Crowley in mild disgust. A light up reindeer snagged Crowley's coat on it's antlers, the demon snatched the material back and hissed at the inanimate object.
Aziraphale barely even noticed, he was too busy touching the fluffy wings of an angel tree topper, "You like eggnog," he commented distractedly.
"Huh?"
"Eggnog. It's a Christmas thing that you like," the angel explained as he moved further into the shop to inspect more items.
"I can have eggnog any time of the year," Crowley informed him sourly, noticing all of the bits and bobs hanging from the ceiling.
"Hmm, I suppose, but I think that you are just saying that because you don't want to like Christmas," Aziraphale stopped again near the back of the store, his cream jacket turned rainbow with the multitude of flashing lights strung up along the back wall.
Crowley was about to retort when he noticed the item that hung above his Angel's head. Instead he grinned and moved in to wrap his arms around Aziraphale's waist, "Ya know Angel, you're right, there is one thing that I like about Christmas…"
"Oh? Do enlighten me my dear," Aziraphale turned in the demon's arms as he spoke so that they were face to face.
Crowley tilted his head up to the ceiling, and the angel followed his line of sight; a warm, soft smile spread across his face.
"Do you remember the first time we kissed under mistletoe?" Crowley asked gently as he leant in for a kiss.
"How could I ever forget?" Aziraphale assured him before meeting Crowley's lips with his own in a simple but lingering kiss.
Aziraphale ended up buying the sprig of mistletoe, and it was the only decoration that hung in the bookshop for Christmas. Crowley made sure to show his appreciation every time his Angel ended up underneath it, and they weren't short on eggnog for the rest of the season.
